Teacher professional development has recently become a central focus in the Indonesian context, particularly after the implementation of the post-bachelor teacher professional education program or Pendidikan Profesi Guru (PPG) for both pre-service and in-service EFL teachers in 2013. However, studies reveal that the transition from teacher education programs to the initial teaching career at schools has been described as a challenging phase. Despite the growing attention of scholars in exploring beginning teachers’ challenges, studies focusing on the early-career Indonesian EFL teachers, particularly those who just completed the PPG program, are considered limited. Therefore, drawing on a qualitative case study with two beginning Indonesian secondary EFL teachers, this study aims to unravel the challenges during their first-year teaching experience at school after completing the PPG program. By thematically analysing the semi-structured interviews, this study indicated that the teachers experienced four significant challenges: 1) pedagogical (classroom management, lack of teaching resources, test-based learning atmosphere), 2) professional (complex self-identification), 3) social (maintaining rapport with senior teachers), and 4) personal (mood management).  Despite having been trained professionally through the PPG program, the result suggested that the beginning teachers still faced considerable challenges during their initial endeavour as an English teacher at school. Pedagogical implications are discussed in terms of the need for continuous professional development for the newly certified teachers during their initial career at schools.

The main task of professional education today is not to master a set of knowledge, but to develop the creative thinking of future qualified workers, their skills and abilities in performing independent search, analysis and evaluation of information. Self-actualization, self-affirmation and realization of creative abilities are also of great importance. Developing creative abilities is a way to motivate students in their learning. We live in the age of the scientific and technological revolution, and our life in all its manifestations becomes more diverse and more difficult at the same time, it does not require outdated or usual actions, on the contrary, it demands the mobility of thinking, rapid orientation, and a creative approach for solving big and small tasks. Nowadays, taking into account the dynamic development of industry and services, the competitiveness of future qualified workers in the service sector depends not only on their acquisition of a high level of knowledge of the technological process and manufacturing tasks, but also on their ability to solve communication and compositional problems. The purpose of the article is to determine the essence and structure of creative abilities of the future qualified workers representing the service sector. On the basis of the theoretical analysis of psychological and pedagogical literature, we offer our own interpretation of the creative abilities demonstrated by the future qualified workers of the services sector; creative abilities are associated with person’s integrated, dynamic qualities and properties which manifest themselves in developing essentially new ideas, in creating something qualitatively new in the services sector. Disclosing the structure of the creative abilities demonstrated by the future qualified workers of the services sector, we defined the following basic concepts for our research like: “services sector”, “a qualified worker”, “interactive technologies”. Having processed the regulatory-legal documents of professional (vocational) education, we have identified the component structure of the creative abilities demonstrated by the future qualified workers of the services sphere by means of interactive technologies: the stimulating-motivating, intellectual-heuristic, personality-targeted and constructive components. Different scientists’ approaches to the defining of the concept “abilities” and “creative abilities”, as well as the essence and structure of the creative abilities demonstrated by the future qualified workers in the services sphere by means of interactive technologies are considered in this article. The purpose of this article is to show the peculiarities of geographical knowledge creation in a profile school with further formation of pupils’ competences of educational activities. Main material. Modern information society places high demands on the person, who needs to be ready for constant change, development, competition in all spheres of activity, determined by the interaction of the person and the social environment in rapidly changing conditions. Profile training is aimed at educating high school students at general education schools, taking into account their individual capabilities, their socialization in accordance with the requirements of the labour market, and presents a system of profiles with organizations from primary to higher vocational training. Gradual formation of the profile school allows us to create conditions for differentiation of the educational content, individual educational programs. It carries out in-depth study of subjects, creating equal educational conditions for different categories of pupils, their further socialization and restoring connection between general and professional education. Geographical knowledge encompasses biological, geological, meteorological, economic, social, political sciences and is of integrating importance. Geography can, therefore, act in different profiles as both basic and optional discipline. Specialized training in geography represents the study of cycles of subjects that complement each other in content, types of activities, are studied both at the general educational level and at the in-depth, optional level. Conclusions. Analysis of the world experience in the organization of geographical education indicates different approaches in its implementation. Acquisition of geographical knowledge in the case of Australia takes place through the study of natural components and global transformations. A geography course in the USA introduces school pupils to the world through the interpretation of knowledge about natural, economical features of different regions of the world. Geographical education in England is a basic subject of learning that allows pupils to gain information about nature, society, resources to form competences of geographical knowledge, approaches, concepts and analysis skills. In Ukraine, geographical education is part of a system of basic subjects that form a holistic picture of the surrounding world through generalizations and systematization of knowledge, formation of geographical thinking, ability to use different methods of information analysis. It is emphasized that the main task of profile education is formation of specialized preparation (profile training) in the upper grades of general education, which is guided by individual training and socialization of pupils.

The article is devoted to the theoretical comprehension problem of the methodological foundations of  future psychologist’s facilitative abilities development in higher professional education. Facilitation is defined as a process that stimulates progressive changes and  according to this, the main psychologist’s task is facilitative support of personality in order to create the necessary  psychological conditions for his or her self-development. The actuality of organization profitable conditions for the  development of  future psychologists’ facilitative abilities in the environment of higher professional education is  substantiated. In searching educational guides, special attention is paid to the culturological paradigm, the main  function of which is humanitarian, and the main task - the formation of the student's personality. The teacher’s task is to help each student to build an individual  trajectory of education which correlates with the generally accepted achievements of mankind and is aimed at their  multiplication. The emphasis is made on the methods of space presentation and its picturesque and figurative organization.
