In an educational environment, Lecturers apply the correct way of speaking in Indonesian to students as a sign of maintaining social and cultural values. Students are the younger generation who play an important role for the nation, so students are trained to be polite according to ethics, especially in language. So that students are expected to use the correct Indonesian language in communicating. The correct Indonesian language is used as a unifying language for the nation besides that it also functions as a form of language politeness for students. Therefore, this paper describes the representation of politeness of the State University of Malang Sociology students in using the correct Indonesian language. The research method used is qualitative and data collection techniques by interview. The results obtained are that for students using the correct Indonesian language is something important because lecturers are parents at campus, have high knowledge, have a lot of experience than students, and are older than students. To realize politeness towards lecturers, when students communicate with lecturers it is very necessary to use correct Indonesian so that students have a good image in front of the lecturer, so that the lecturer will label students as polite to lecturers. Dalam lingkungan pendidikan, Dosen menerapkan cara bertutur kata dengan menggunakan bahasa Indonesia yang benar kepada mahasiswa sebagai tanda untuk menjaga nilai sosial dan budaya. Mahasiswa adalah generasi muda yang berperan penting bagi bangsa, sehingga mahasiswa dilatih untuk bersikap santun sesuai etika terutama dalam berbahasa. Sehingga mahasiswa diharapkan menggunakan Bahasa Indonesia yang benar dalam berkomunikasi. Bahasa Indonesia yang benar digunakan sebagai bahasa pemersatu bangsa, selain itu juga berfungsi sebagai wujud kesantunan berbahasa bagi Mahasiswa. Oleh karena itu, tulisan ini menjelaskan representasi kesantunan mahasiswa Sosiologi Universitas Negeri Malang dalam menggunakan bahasa Indonesia yang benar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dan teknik pengumpulan data dengan wawancara. Hasil yang diperoleh yaitu bagi mahasiswa menggunakan Bahasa Indonesia yang benar adalah sesuatu yang penting karena dosen adalah orangtua di kampus, memiliki ilmu pengetahuan yang tinggi, memiliki banyak pengalaman daripada mahasiswa, serta lebih tua daripada mahasiswa. Untuk mewujudkan kesantunan terhadap dosen, ketika mahasiswa berkomunikasi dengan dosen sangat diperlukan menggunakan bahasa Indonesia yang benar agar mahasiswa memiliki citra yang baik didepan dosen, sehingga dosen akan memberi labelling sebagai mahasiswa yang santun terhadap dosen.

A sense of nationalism is very important for the young generation of Indonesia to become a developed nation, a modern nation, a safe nation, and a peaceful, just and prosperous nation in the midst of globalization that increasingly challenges the Indonesian state. As a nation and a state in the midst of other nations in the world, a high national identity is needed from its citizens, especially among the young generation of Indonesia. The spirit of nationalism is still needed by the existence of the Indonesian people and the state. High nationalism from citizens or the younger generation will create positive and best behavior for the nation and state. In the current era of globalization, there are factors that cause the waning of the spirit of nationalism among the younger generation. This can be seen from several benchmarks, namely the lack of youth understanding of cultural values. Teenagers are now more likely to follow western culture which is very far in comparison with the norms and customs of the Indonesian nation, The main cause of the fading spirit of nationalism and nationality from the next generation of the nation is mainly due to the wrong and uneducational examples shown by the older generation or the elderly who tend to prioritize interests individuals and groups rather than prioritizing the interests of the nation and the people. This research method uses quantitative methods with data collection using literature studies based on the sources read.

The public university is an educational institution with heterogeneous and multicultural socio-religious and cultural background conditions for students, including the State University of Malang (UM). The problem that multicultural and multireligious campuses often face is intolerant behavior that allows acts of violence to occur. Nevertheless, interestingly, this does not happen at UM. That is because UM seeks to develop a tolerant attitude of students through Islamic religious education with a culture of non-violence. The aims of this study are: (1) to find out what nonviolence cultural values ​​exist in UM, and (2) what efforts are made by UM to strengthen religious tolerance through Islamic religious education with a culture of nonviolence. This qualitative research applies a case study with data collection techniques through interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis includes data collection, condensation, data display, and concluding. The results of this study, namely: (1) The values of the non-violent culture that is being developed by the State University of Malang (UM) are: (a) Rahmatan Lil'alamin values, (b) Peacebuilding values, and (c) Tolerance-values. (2) The strengthening of religious tolerance through non-violent culture through PAI learning at UM includes: (a) The PAI learning process is carried out in the classroom learning directly (2 credits) and in the form of Tafaqquhfiidiinil Islam (TDI) activities which are including public lectures PAI learning and intensive guidance on reading the Qur'an (1 credit) for a total of credit is 3. (b) Through Qur'an Study Club, and (c) Seminar activities on multiculturalism, tolerance, and religious harmony.

The ideology of Pancasila as a way of life, the basis of the state, and national identity has a various challenge from time to time so that the existence of Pancasila as an Ideology must be maintained, especially in industrial revolution 4.0. The research method used is a qualitative approach by doing study of literature. In data collection the writer used documentation while in techniques data analysis used content analysis, inductive and descriptive. Results of the research about challenges and strengthening of the Pancasila Ideology in facing the era of the industrial revolution 4.0 are: (1)  grounding Pancasila, (2) increasing professional human resources based on Pancasila’s values, (3) maintaining the existence of Pancasila as the State Ideology.

Drive on!”Reputedly, this command was uttered by the President of an emerging African nation to his chauffeur, when his official visit to the campus of the state university was running behind schedule. After visiting over fifty university and three national libraries in the last 18 months as part of the data collection phase of the FLAG project, I am able to report that, in the UK at least, the generalisation is not valid.

<p>This study aims to find out how to be a good multicultural counselor for persons with disabilities. This study uses qualitative methods and educational psychology approaches. The subjects of the study were three counselors at the state extraordinary school in Pemalang. This research lasted for three months. Based on extensive interviews and observations at the research location as the main tool for data collection, this study produced several findings. First, a multicultural counselor who is good for person with disabilities has several characteristics, they are empathy, familiarizing "greetings" and "say hello", listening wholeheartedly, having insight into cultural values of manners and the ethics of patience when interacting at person with disabilities, and mastering techniques in counseling. Second, these characteristics are able to increase and develop the career potential of person with disabilities and very helpful for person with disabilities through difficult times when facing life’s problems.</p>

abstractLocal wisdom is one of the products of character strengthening development, both in the form of morals and ethics. Therefore, the meaning of local wisdom can be knitted and developed in shaping the nation's moral and ethical character. By raising the theme of the function of local wisdom in Kulawi proverbs as a reinforcement of the Kulawi ethnic character, this study aims to describe the functions and meanings contained in Kulawi proverbs that show local wisdom and cultural values. The method used in this study is a qualitative research method by describing and analyzing phenomena, events, social activities, attitudes and beliefs of individuals and groups. Furthermore, data collection through and analyzed based on Rolan Bhartes' semiotic elements. The results of the analysis show that the meaning of local wisdom contained in the Kulawi proverb is to elevate the morality of the Kulawi ethnic life and assert itself as a dignified community. The function of local wisdom in the Kulawi proverb is as a tool for controlling social norms, a means of communication and controlling society, as a means of education, and as a tool for maintaining the harmony of religious communities.Keywords: local wisdom, proverbs, ethnicity, culture  AbstrakKearifan lokal merupakan salah satu produk pengembangan penguat karakter, baik berupa moral amaupun etika. Oleh karena itu, makna kearifan local dapat dirajut dan dikembangkan dalam membetuk karakter bangsa yang bermoral dan beretika. Dengan mengangkat tema  fungsi kearifan lokal  dalam peribahasa Kulawi sebagai penguat karakter etnik Kulawi, penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan fungsi dan makna yang terkandung dalam peribahasa  bahasa Kulawi yang menunjukkan kearifan lokal dan nilai budaya. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian kualitatif dengan mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis  fenomena, peristiwa, aktivitas sosial, sikap dan kepercayaan individual dan kelompok. Selanjutnya, pengumpulan  data melalui  dan dianalisis berdasarkan elemen semiotika Rolan Bhartes. Hasil analisis menunjukkan  bahwa makna keraifan local  yang terdapat dalam peribahasa bahasa Kulawi yaitu  meninggikan moralitas kehidupan etnik Kulawi serta menegaskan diri sebagai komunitas yang bermartabat. Adapun fungsi kerifan local dalam peribahasa Kulawi yaitu  sebagai alat pengedali norma social, alat komunikasi dan pengedali masyarakat, sebagai sarana pendidikan, dan sebagai alat pemelihara ketrukunan ummat beragama.

This study aims to determine the sentence structure of Arabic and Indonesian terms in Surah Al-Baqarah, their similarities and differences, and their implications for translation. The research method used in this study is a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques used were documentation and triangulation studies. From the results of this study, researchers found 190 the number of shar'iyah in surah Al-Baqarah with various sentence structures. Then, some similarities and differences in the structure between the sentence terms in Arabic and Indonesian, as well as the implications of this study, the researcher found a tendency to translate adawat syarṭ on the translation of the Ministry of Religion and Al-Mishbah.

This study aims to design a Dayak Kenyah Cultural Research Center in Samarinda's Pampang Cultural Village using an emphasis on the appearance of contemporary Kenyah Dayak buildings and spatial organization. The benefits of this research resulted in a Cultural Research Center with good spatial planning and circulation and a place of education about Dayak Kenyah culture for the general public. The research method used is descriptive analytic and synthesis analysis with data collection techniques using observation techniques from observing facts in the field, interviews, and analysis of documents from literature studies related to the design concept of Dayak Kenyah Cultural Research Center. The results of the study are in the form of designing facilities by adjusting contemporary ethnic designs on building facades that provide elements of Dayak Kenyah cultural values such as adjusting the color of buildings to the typical colors of Dayak Kenyah culture and paying attention to the spatial planning in buildings used as places for cultural activities and research on Dayak Kenyah culture.

Puppet umar maya is known as one of the characters in the sasak puppet story. This figure acts as an advisor to the knights in the right puppets, especially the advisor to the king of the Jayangrana king. As an advisor, this figure has a wise, humble, smart, brave, and loyal character to his country. From these various characteristics, this figure is respected by all right-wing puppets and respected by his enemies. In this research, the writer tries to describe the shape of the virtual puppet umar figures with the hope that the community, especially the younger generation among academics, can know the form of the puppet sasak, especially the virtual umar figures. The research method that I use is a qualitative method where the data collection is done by observation, interviews with the actors of Sasak puppet art, as well as reviewing documents that discuss Sasak puppets. From the results of research conducted by the author, the results obtained in the form of a description of the shape of the virtual umar characters in sasak puppets which are divided into urayan about the shape of the virtual umar figures in terms of the form of making ideas of virtual umar characters and the physical form of the virtual umar characters in the sasak puppet

This article aims to determine the form of Shift's religious expression and the factor of the Shift community's interest in the context of cyberreligion. The research method is qualitative with the type of phenomenological research. There are 5 research subjects (subscribers) and the research object of the YouTube channel Shift. The interactive model analysis technique of Miles & Huberman from the results of data collection that the authors get. The results showed that the phenomenon of cyberreligion has touched various circles and was used by Ust. Hanan Attaki by establishing a Shift which targets the younger generation in the form of online religion. The use of YouTube as a means of spreading Shift's da'wah is categorized into the File-Sharing category. The study, which is nicely packaged by Ust. Hanan Attaki, has made it loved by the younger generation as an alternative in their religious information.
