A sense of nationalism is very important for the young generation of Indonesia to become a developed nation, a modern nation, a safe nation, and a peaceful, just and prosperous nation in the midst of globalization that increasingly challenges the Indonesian state. As a nation and a state in the midst of other nations in the world, a high national identity is needed from its citizens, especially among the young generation of Indonesia. The spirit of nationalism is still needed by the existence of the Indonesian people and the state. High nationalism from citizens or the younger generation will create positive and best behavior for the nation and state. In the current era of globalization, there are factors that cause the waning of the spirit of nationalism among the younger generation. This can be seen from several benchmarks, namely the lack of youth understanding of cultural values. Teenagers are now more likely to follow western culture which is very far in comparison with the norms and customs of the Indonesian nation, The main cause of the fading spirit of nationalism and nationality from the next generation of the nation is mainly due to the wrong and uneducational examples shown by the older generation or the elderly who tend to prioritize interests individuals and groups rather than prioritizing the interests of the nation and the people. This research method uses quantitative methods with data collection using literature studies based on the sources read.

Globalization affects all aspects of people's lives, including changes in cultural values. This threatens the diversity and uniqueness of the existing local culture. In general, culture is more focused on universal form and uniformity. For this reason, efforts are needed to introduce and redevelop the cultural diversity of the local area. One of the strategies is to promote traditional culture as a source of inspiration in the interior design concept of a city hotel. This interior design uses the Jaipong Kawung Anten dance as a source of inspiration for City Hotel's interior design. The research method uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Processing the design concept takes the character and philosophy of the Jaipong Kawung Anten dance. The Jaipong Kawung Anten dance tells the story of the daughter of Kawung Anten from the Sumedang Larang kingdom. The character of the dance is dynamic, varied, energetic, and masculine. The elements of the dance are implemented in the treatment of walls, floors, and the selection of furniture. Some elements of the Jaipong Kawung Anten dance are also processed into artwork and hotel interior ornaments. The choice of interior materials and colors also refers to the visualization of the Jaipong Kawung Anten dance. The results of this interior design are expected to become an iconic hotel in Bandung with the theme "Jaipong Kawung Anten". Through interior design, this can also be an effort to help preserve traditional Sundanese culture.

ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the process of procurement of library materials at the Regional Library and Archives Service of Muaro Jambi Regency. The research method used is library research methodologically classified as qualitative research with a descriptive approach in the form of a case study which aims to explain the procurement of library materials at the Regional Library and Archives Service of Muaro Jambi Regency. Data collection techniques used were through observation and interviews. The findings of the study are (1) the Regional Library and Archives Office of Muaro Jambi Regency has carried out library material procurement activities through purchases from book agents, bookstores, gifts, entrances and through assistance once a year. (2) The Regional Library and Archives Office of Muaro Jambi Regency has never procured serial publications, as well as non-book materials (recorded works) because according to them library materials are rarely needed by users. (3) The procurement of library funds for library materials is not running properly as seen from the constraints that occur, namely the lack of spending funds for the procurement of library materials both from series published library materials and recorded library materials, as well as the lack of attention from leaders leading to the procurement of library materials so that the available collections incomplete, not up to date and not used by the user. From these findings, it is hoped that the Regional Library and Archives Office of Muaro Jambi Regency will continue to procure collections of serial publications and recorded works because these collections can increase the number of collections available, create public interest in reading and add to the repertoire of library collections. Furthermore, the Regional Library and Archives Service of Muaro Jambi Regency should process funds properly by paying attention to user needs so that library materials purchased are in accordance with user education. Then also the head of the library must pay more attention that leads to the procurement of library materials so that the available collections can be more up to date, complete, and can be used by users.
