AbstractThe integration of Islamic education with learning of science and technology is expected to be meaningful and easily understandable so that the goal of Islamic education in leading the students to recognize, understand, contemplate, believe, be piety, and have noble character in implementing the teachings of Islam from the primary source i.e. the holy book of Al-Quran and Al-Hadith through the teaching guidance, practicing, and the use of experience can be accomplished. The key of the integration in controlling and restoring science and technology to its original position, namely: amar ma'ruf, nahi munkar, and having faith in God. This study aims to determine the integration of Islamic education with science and technology in SMP Islam Al-Azhar 21 Solo Baru. By using qualitative descriptive method and also through triangulation technique to test the validity of data, the study is also aimed to search and arrange systematically the data obtained. The data is taken from interviews, field, and documentation by organizing data into categories, describing them into units, synthesizing, preparing into the pattern, classifying the important things that will be learned, and then making a conclusion. From the results of the study, it can be concluded that the observation result of creativity of the students showed that the smooth aspect of the students who have excellent category is 41.28% and the results of the flexibility aspect of the students who have excellent category is 36.69%. The observation results indicate that the detail aspect of the students who have excellent category is 33.98%.Keywords: Islamic Education, Science, Technology AbstrakIntegrasi pendidikan agama Islam dengan sains dan teknologi pembelajaran yang dilaksanakan diharapkan menjadi lebih bermakna dan mudah dipahami. Sehingga tujuan pendidikan agama Islam dalam mengarahkan peserta didik untuk mengenal, memahami, menghayati, hingga mengimani, bertaqwa, dan berakhlak mulia dalam mengamalkan ajaran agama Islam dari sumber utamanya yaitu kitab suci Al-Quran dan Al-Hadits, melalui kegiatan bimbingan pengajaran, latihan, serta penggunaan pengalaman dapat terlaksana. Kuncinya dalam mengendalikan dan mengembalikan sains dan teknologi ke posisi semula, yaitu: amar ma’ruf, nahi munkar, dan iman kepada Allah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui integrasi pendidikan agama Islam dengan sains dan teknologi di SMP Islam Al-Azhar 21 Solo Baru. Dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif, melalui teknik triangulasi untuk menguji keabsahan data, yaitu mencari dan menyusun secara sistematis data yang diperoleh dari hasil wawancara, lapangan, dan dokumentasi dengan cara mengorganisasikan data ke dalam kategori, menjabarkannya ke dalam unit-unit, melakukan sintesa, menyusun ke dalam pola, mengklasifikasikan hal-hal penting yang akan dipelajari kemudian membuat kesimpulan. Dari hasil penelitian disimpulkan bahwa: hasil amatan kreativitas pada peserta didik menunjukkan bahwa untuk aspek kelancaran pada peserta didik yang memiliki kategori baik sekali sebesar 41.28%. Hasil amatan menunjukkan bahwa untuk aspek fleksibilitas pada peserta didik yang memiliki kategori baik sekali sebesar 36.69%. Hasil amatan menunjukkan bahwa untuk aspek kerincian pada peserta didik yang memiliki kategori baik sekali 33.98%. Kata kunci: pendidikan Islam, ilmu pengetahuan, teknologi

Abstract: This study discusses the comparison of student achievement from Elementary Schools and Madrasah Ibtidaiyah in learning Islamic education at State Junior High School 4 Rantau, Aceh Tamiang district. The research conducted by the author uses a qualitative approach that is a field study of Islamic religious education learning and analyzes student achievement from two different backgrounds. The use of the method in this study is a qualitative descriptive method. Data collection is done by observation, interviews, documentation (notes or archives). Data analysis techniques include data reduction, data presentation, data verification and critical analysis. The results showed that students from both different backgrounds obtained good learning scores, good skills, and were able to apply good attitude values ​​and uphold ethics in learning.

Globalization has resulted in a shift in human morals, marked by the many cases of moral deviations that are rife in various parts of Indonesia so that the application of spiritual attitudes has not been maximized. The attitude of dishonesty is shown by the number of students who cheat on the test, and the attitude of indiscipline is shown by the number of students who are late so that the application of social attitudes does not seem to be visible. The role of PAI teachers is considered quite important for the development of these two attitudes. At SMPN 1 Darussalam, PAI teachers have played a role in fostering spiritual and social attitudes. Big. This research was conducted with a field study using a qualitative descriptive method. Data collection techniques were carried out through interviews and documentation. The results showed the role of PAI teachers in fostering spiritual attitudes by praying before and after lessons, praying in congregation, doing charity activities every Friday, and religious activities. The role of PAI teachers in fostering social attitudes is carried out through social service activities, visiting the Disabled Foundation and nursing homes, getting used to the 3S (smile, greeting, greeting), reporting to the teacher what items are found, punishing students who are late. Factors supporting the role of Islamic Education teachers in fostering spiritual and social attitudes are seen from adequate school facilities in the form of female/male prayer rooms, learning media such as LCD, the use of active methods. While the inhibiting factors include the lack of adequate facilities, especially LCDs, the lack of interest in teachers and knowledge, and the lack of interest in students to improve themselves.

However, along with the times, pesantren have not only opened religious-based schools, but also public schools that provide general knowledge (natural, social, and language) to their students. Educational formalities in pesantren were also proposed so that pesantren alumni could continue their education to public schools. There are three main problems in this paper by reconstructing the pesantren education system, as follows; (1) the relationship between pesantren and the outside world, (2) the relationship between pesantren and science and technology, and (3) the epistemology of Islamic Science in Pesantren Sains (Trensains).�The qualitative�descriptive method is the choice in this study. This research is a qualitative field study with case studies. In order to obtain comprehensive data and pay attention to the relationship between the data and the focus and objectives of the research, data collection in this study used three techniques, namely (1) interviews, (2) participant observation: (3) research documentation. Research activities in data analysis include data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. From this research, it can be found that the interaction of science and technology with science cannot be denied. So pesantren must be prepared to deal with it. There are several Islamic boarding schools that have interacted with science and technology, both of which have greatly influenced the style of education, one of which is the Tebuireng Science Boarding School (Trensains). Santri are invited to study religion (Qur'an) as well as to study the verses of Kauniyah contained in it.Keywords: Interaction, Pesantren, Science, Technology

This research was conducted to investigate archives as information infrastructure in research. This term is used because archives are seen as the primary source for research. Thus, it is very fundamental and urgent for researchers regarding the data to be used and their accuracy is reliable. The research used a qualitative descriptive method in the frame of a constructivist approach in reading the phenomena of UIN Sunan Kalijaga Archives. Data collection was carried out using three main techniques, namely interview, observation, and documentation. The results of the study found three important issues related to the existence of archives as information infrastructure on research, i.e. archives as a means of historical preservation, primary document, and research development capital. As a curator of history, it seems that its function is very important in historical research because its birth was not intended to produce historical materials, but was born by itself following the interaction of the people. As a primary document, archives are important because they were born simultaneously with events, not from the stories of social actors. As for the framework of research development capital, archives are a source that has a high degree of accuracy, so that its function in research is very important to produce qualified research.

Of several problems in the Millennial era, one of them is the westernization of science, including Islamic education. So it is necessary to find a solution by Islamizing science as conceptualized by Ismail Radji al-Faruqi. This research is a library research using qualitative descriptive analysis. Data was collected from various kinds of reading sources in the form of scientific articles and books and other supporting references, then ancarried content analysis was in-depthout to find solutions to educational problems in the millennial era. The results of the research show that the concept of Islamic education Ismail Radji al-Faruqi is a leading Muslim intellectual who has responded positively to the development of science and technology, but he still puts the principle of tauhid in his idea of ​​Islamization of science. Through a work plan arranged systematically with five objectives and twelve stages al-Faruqi was able to realize his program. It is important to review the concept of education to be re-realized in the current millennial era.

Pig hunting tradition (maddengeng) is one of cultures in Ponre District, Bone Regency, South Sulawesi. It is done because pigs are declared as big pest that can cause agricultural and environmental damage. This study aims to describe the important role of Islamic Education on pig hunting tradition  done by people of Ponre. This study used intrinsic and extrinsic approach. It employed qualitative descriptive method by describing the Islamic values from the observed culture. The data were collected by using some techniques including observation, interview, and documentation. In the case of data analysis, the gathered data were analyzed by using data reduction, data display, and drawing conclusion. The result shows that pig hunting tradition of Ponre people is divided into two activities, namely local pig hunting and massive pig hunting. Local pig hunting is usually done to identify the core of pest location by using simple utilities. Conversely, massive pig hunting is done by involving many people massively and using more complete utilities as well as systematic steps. In fact, in its realization, there are some deviations done by Ponre people which against the Islamic law, such as doing some rituals that contain the elements of animism and dynamism before doing the process of pig hunting. Therefore, Islamic Education has an important role in straightening those deviate concepts by changing those rituals with praying together to Allah before doing pig hunting, and giving some understanding about how to properly clean things touched with pigs according to Islamic law.

The purpose of this study is to describe the kind of grammatical and lexical cohesion that used in education articles written by Syarifudin Yunus. The method that used in this study is qualitative descriptive method. Data source that used in this study are 24 education articles written by Syarifudin Yunus at Kompasiana.com web page in 2019 until 2020 year range. Technic that used in this study is basic technique of agih method or also called the BUL technique (For Direct Elements). The results of this study showed that there are four aspects of grammatical cohesions. The finding percentage of grammatical cohesion of this study are 54.4% conjunctions aspect, 35.4% references aspect, 6.1% substitutions aspect, and 4.1% ellipsis aspect. Besides, there are six lexical cohesion that found in this study. The percentage of lexical cohesions in this study are 63.5% repetition aspects, 14% equivalency aspects, 8.8% collocation aspects, 7.2% synonym aspects, 3.8% hyponyim aspects, and 2.7% antonym aspects. This study can be implicated for Indonesian language learning at junior high school and senior high school.Keywords: Grammatical cohesion; lexical cohesion; discourse.

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuktikan pengaruh penguasaan prinsip dan unsur seni rupa terhadap hasil belajar menggambar flora. Objek yang digambar adalah pohon. Adapun populasi dalam penelitian ini yaitu kelas VII SMP Swasta AL-ULUM Medan dengan sampel 3 karya siswa dengan teknik Cluster Random Sampling. Sampel yang akan diambil dengan menggunakan Pretest dan Posttest agar dapat terlihat perbedaan dengan penguasaan prinsip dan unsur seni rupa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan mendeskripsikan gambaran yang diteliti dan dinilai berdasarkan prinsip dan unsur seni rupa yang telah ditentukan yaitu garis, bentuk, warna, gelap terang, proporsi dan karakter objek. Hasil temuan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa secara keseluruhan  karya yang dihasilkan berdasarkan prinsip dan unsur seni rupa terdapat pengaruh yang cukup signifikan dilihat dari hasil karya Pretest dan Posttest.Kata Kunci: prinsip, unsur, seni rupa.AbstractThis study aims to prove the influence of mastery of the principles and elements of fine arts on flora learning outcomes. The object drawn is a tree. The population in this study is grade VII Medan AL-ULUM Junior High School with a sample of 3 student work using the Cluster Random Sampling technique. Samples to be taken using Pretest and Posttest so that differences can be seen with the mastery of the principles and elements of fine arts. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method by describing the images studied and assessed based on predetermined fine art principles and elements, namely lines, shapes, colors, light darkness, proportions and character of objects. The findings of this study indicate that overall the work produced is based on the principles and elements of art there is a significant influence seen from the work of Pretest and Posttest.  Keywords: principles, elements, fine art.

Transposisi pada penerjemahan tidak dapat dihindari karena pada setiap bahasa, bahkan pada unit-unit bahasa, terdapat sistem yang berbeda, seperti pada adjektivabahasa Rusia dan Indonesia. Untuk itu, dalam penelitian ini dibahas mengenai berbagai macam transposisi yang terjadi pada penerjemahan adjektiva bahasa Rusia ke dalam bahasa Indonesia serta alasan terjadinya transposisi tersebut. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif-kualitatif dengan model komparatif. Sumber data penelitian diambil dari cerpen Rusia dan terjemahannya dalam bahasa Indonesia. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada penerjemahan adjektiva bahasa Rusia ke dalam bahasa Indonesia terjadi transposisi level dan kategori berupa struktur, unit, kelas, dan intra-sistem. Beragam transposisi ini pada dasarnya terjadi karena adjektiva bahasa Rusia dan Indonesia, secara gramatikal, memiliki banyak perbedaan. Transpositions or shifts in translation cannot be avoided since in each language, even in language units, there are different systems, such as in Russian and Indonesian adjectives. Therefore, this study discussed the various types of transpositions in translation of Russian adjectives into Indonesian and the reasons for this transposition. The method used in this study is a qualitative-descriptive method with a comparative model. The source of the data is taken from Russian short stories and its translation in Indonesian. The results of the study showed that in translation of Russian adjectives into Indonesian there were level shifts and category shifts, viz. structures, units, classes, and inter-systems. These various transpositions basically occur because the adjectives in Russian and Indonesian have many differences grammatically.

This study aims to describe the deviance of politeness maxims that occur in the SpongebobSquarepants cartoon film that is carried out from January to May 2018. The focus used in this study is the deviation of maxim of language politeness derived from Leech's theory include: deviation of maximal wisdom, deviation maxim of generosity, deviation from maxims of appreciation, deviation from the maxim of simplicity, deviation from maximization of consent, and deviation from maximization of conclusions. With the sub focus of politeness scale which includes the scale of loss and profit, choice scale, scale of non-continuity, authority scale, and social distance scale. The method used in this study uses a qualitative descriptive method with content analysis techniques. The object of this study was the cartoon film SpongebobSquarepants by Stephen Hillenburg. In this study, data were obtained on the cartoon SpongebobSquarepants in three episodes, Pineapple Fever, Sandy, Spongebob, and The Worm, and SquidwardThe Unfriendly Ghost, which consisted of 209 pairs of speeches. Maximum politeness deviation is 138 pairs of utterances (66.02%), while fulfillment of politeness maxim is found as many as 71 pairs of utterances (33.98%). Found 1 data maximal deviations (0.72%), 5 data maximal maximal deviations (3.62%), 46 maximal awards deviations (33.3%), 26 data maximization simplicity (18.84 %), deviation of agreement maximization as much as 61 data (44.3%), and deviation of maximization of conclusions as much as 17 data (12.6%). Then obtained politeness scale of 209 pairs of utterances. 138 fulfills politeness and 71 pairs of utterances fulfill impoliteness. The results of this study concluded that the deviations in maxim of politeness speak more than the fulfillment of politeness maxim in the cartoon film SpongebobSquarepants. In this study can be implicated in Indonesian language learning, namely learning in the text of the discussion class IX junior high school.   Keywords: politeness maxim, cartoon film, Spongebob Squarepants   Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penyimpangan maksim kesantunan yang terjadi di dalam film kartun Spongebob Squarepants yang dilakukan pada bulan Januari sampai dengan bulan Mei 2018. Fokus yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penyimpangan  maksim kesantunan berbahasa yang diturunkan dari teori Leech meliputi: penyimpangan maksim kebijaksanaan, penyimpangan maksim kedermawanan, penyimpangan maksim penghargaan, penyimpangan maksim kesederhanaan, penyimpangan maksim permufakatan, dan penyimpangan maksim kesimpatisan. Dengan sub fokus skala kesantunan yang meliputi skala kerugian dan keuntungan, skala pilihan, skala ketidaklangsungan, skala keotoritasan, dan skala jarak sosial. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik analisis isi. Objek penelitian ini adalah film kartun Spongebob Squarepants karya Stephen Hillenburg. Dalam penelitian ini didapatkan data pada film kartun Spongebob Squarepants dalam tiga episode yaitu Pineapple Fever, Sandy, Spongebob, and The Worm, dan Squidward The Unfriendly Ghost sebanyak 209 pasangan ujaran. Penyimpangan maksim kesantunan sebanyak 138 pasangan ujaran (66,02%), sedangkan pemenuhan maksim kesantunan ditemukan sebanyak 71 pasangan ujaran (33,98%). Ditemukan penyimpangan maksim kebijaksanaan sebanyak 1 data (0,72%), penyimpangan maksim kedermawanan sebanyak 5 data (3,62%), penyimpangan maksim penghargaan sebanyak 46 data (33,3%), penyimpangan maksim kesederhanaan sebanyak 26 data (18,84%), penyimpangan maksim permufakatan sebanyak 61 data (44,3%), dan penyimpangan maksim kesimpatisan sebanyak 17 data (12,6%). Selanjutnya didapatkan skala kesantunan sebanyak 209 pasangan ujaran. 138 memenuhi kesantunan dan 71 pasangan ujaran memenuhi ketidaksantunan. Hasil penelitian ini disimpulkan bahwa penyimpangan maksim kesantunan berbahasa lebih banyak dibandingkan dengan pemenuhan maksim kesantunan pada film kartun  Spongebob Squarepants. Pada penelitian ini dapat diimplikasikan terhadap pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia, yaitu pembelajaran dalam teks diskusi kelas IX SMP. Kata kunci: maksim kesantunan, kartun, Spongebob Squarepants
