The presented research elucidates the values of Willem Iskandar’s books, Si Bulus Bulus Si Rumbuk Rumbuk, and those functions in commemorating the student’s memory about the character education, religiosity, and nationalism. Descriptive qualitative was employed as research approach. The data were collected through literature reviews and content analysis of Si Bulus Bulus Si Rumbuk Rumbuk. The analysis focuses on the description of values inside of the Willem Iskandar’s poetry and contextual aspect that underlying it. The result of research portrays that the Willem Iskandar’s poetry contains the norms that construct the behavioral pattern of Mandailing society. The proses have a function in shaping the character and evolving the movements against the Dutch colonialism. In the educational dimension, the values inside of Willem Iskandar’s poetry become important to be studied in line with the problem of global capitalism that stimulates identity turmoil in any aspect of human life.

This study aims to analyze the character values ​​in Sirah Nabawiyah Ar-Rahiq Al-Makhtum by Syafiyyurrahman al-Mubarakfuri, so that it is revealed how the character education of the Prophet Muhammad. and analyze its relevance to current educational goals. The research method used is library research, the type of research approach is deductive and the analysis method is content analysis. Data collection techniques used were library techniques. This research succeeded in proving that prophetic values ​​based on the history of the Prophet Muhammad have a strong relevance to the concept of contemporary character education. Prophetic values ​​loaded with character education in this era, especially related to religiosity, honesty, tolerance, discipline, hard work, creative, independent, democracy, curiosity, national spirit, love of the motherland, respect for achievement, friendship, love for peace , likes to read, care about the environment, care about social, and responsibility.

The purpose of this study is to describe the types of use of language style in the collection of poems of “Dear You” by Moammar Emka published in 2011. This study uses descriptive qualitative methods. The data source in this study is a collection of poems contained in the poem “Dear You” by Moammar Emka. Data collection techniques in research, using content analysis techniques (text). The results of this study indicate that the use of language style and the value of character education in the collection of poetry “Dear You” by MoammarEmka has a type of language style: (a) parables, (b) metaphors, (c) personification, (d) depersonification, (e) hyperbole, (f) litotes, (g) metonimia, (h) sinekdoke, (i) alliteration, and (j) asonance. Of the ten language styles, the data obtained were 117 data with the smallest data of four data, namely the style of asonance language and the most data of thirty-four data, namely the style of the metaphorical language.

Abstract The role of child reading  in the formation of early childhood character is very important. So also the role of character education is needed by the government as the basis of education in Indonesia. Therefore, this study aims to explore the values of character education in the folktale and is role in the formation of personal early childhood. The approach used is the consept of childrens’s literature and character education. The method used is descriptive qualitative research with content analysis techniques. The source of data derived from the media compass that is a strory-theme tales character of the analyzed. The value of character education found in the folktales of “Suri Ikun and  Two Bird’s” that is creative value,  hardwork, helpers, appreciate achievement, positive attitude, and honesty value.   Keywords: Literature of children, folktale,  and Character

This article aims to critically explain the method of al-Tafsīr al-Tauḥīdī by Ḥasan al-Turābī and its position amongst other thematic commentary theories. This study is a descriptive qualitative study by employing content analysis theory. The results indicate the trend of al-Tafsīr al-Tauḥīdī in two meanings. The first is as a commentary paradigm which leans on the unity of man and the universe in the message of the God’s revelation. The second is as the form of thematic commentary of al-Waḥdah al-Mauḍū‘iyyah model. Therefore, this commentary is more appropriately categorized into al-Tafsīr al-Muṣhafī bi al-Waḥdah al-Mauḍū’iyyah. It has three systematic explanation in each surah including Khulāṣah Hady al-Sūrah, Tartīl al-Ma’āni, and Umūm al-ma’āni. Al-Turābī's ability to unite various related elements in his commentary is not only between verses or surahs but also between human life and all its activities with the universe in a bond of al-Qur'an guidance which is core to monotheism. This is the advantage it has and is a new method in commentary literacy in Sudan. In fact, the method of al-Tafsīr al-Tauḥīdī generally becomes a framework for the whole civilization project of al-Turābī. However, there are some critics towards his commentary regarding rationality and rejection of several authentic hadiths which seem to leave riwāyah in the commentary of the Qur’an.

It is natural that morality is a very important foundation in human life. So the formation of character (morals) is part of the main mission of the Prophet Muhammad. Therefore in forming character, it is important to have a formulation of the organization of Islamic education as character education. In formulating it back to the source of Allah's guidance in His shari'a. This study aims to determine the character building of children with the approach of al-Qur'an based education. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative research (library research). The conclusion of this study is the education of the Qur'an gradually bringing someone to knowledge who finally was able to practice and reflect in everyday life into a praiseworthy personality. To get a proper understanding of the study of the Qur'an, it is necessary to approach it to reflect what is being read.

Javanese people in the past used piwulang text as a source of behavior. Javanese identity is inherent in conduct and behavior. They believe that the Javanese teachings possess valuable values and character. The purpose of this study is to present the Serat Wulang Putra (SWP) as a source of character education for the modern generation. The Javanese text is one of the sources of character education based on Indonesian culture. This type of research is qualitative research focussing on character education designedt and applied to the modern generation. This research is a descriptive qualitative one. The theory applied in this research is content analysis theory. Serat Wulang Putra (SWP) text is analyzed in order to obtain some values that are useful for modern generation character educations, namely mutual respect, obedience to teachers, obedience to parents, toughness, honesty, responsibility, steadfastness, wisdom, patience, love and care, and carefulness. ABSTRACTThis study aims to uncover the moral sessages contained in the text of the Suluk Tanén. The research approach used is descriptive qualitative. The analysis technique in this research is content analysis and philological studies using a standard edition of a single text editing method. The result of this research is the text of Suluk Tanén containing moral messages about how to achieve a perfect life the teachings contained therein are the teachings of perfection of life to attain the great manunggaling kawula Gusti. In the text Suluk Tanén explains the deepening of the mind as an effort to reach the level of perfection including the sarengat, tarekat, hakekat, and makrifat so that a servant gets a peace so that it can show that our has actually lived. AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap pesan moral yang terkandung dalam teks Suluk Tanén. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik analisis pada penelitian ini adalah analisis konten dan kajian filologi dengan metode penyuntingan teks tunggal edisi standar. Hasil penelitian ini ialah teks Suluk Tanѐn  berisi ajaran moral tentang bagaimana cara mencapai hidup yang sempurna. Ajaran yang terkandung di dalamnya merupakan ajaran-ajaran kesempurnaan hidup untuk mencapai makrifat manunggaling kawula Gusti. Di dalam teks Suluk Tanѐn menjelaskan pendalaman batin sebagai upaya untuk menempuh tingkatan kesempurnaan meliputi sarengat (syariat), tarekat, hakekat dan makrifat agar manusia (seorang hamba) mendapatkan suatu ketentraman sehingga mampu menunjukkan bahwa dirinya telah hidup dengan sebenarnya.

This study purposes to describe the religious values in Harun Yahya’s fables. This study used the descriptive qualitative method. The data source of this research was fable by Harun Yahya such as; Omar and the Penguin, Jamal and the Parrot, and Naeem and the Pretty Peacock. The data in this study could be a phrase, be it a noun phrase or verb, sentences and discourse fragment found in the fable. Data collection and analysis techniques used was content analysis techniques. The results showed that the religious value of character education appeared in the fables gave pieces of advice to the readers about getting closer to God Allah SWT.

      Progress of technology and its developed is going so rapidly nowadays and it provide big affect on human life, some of them were education and daily life. Due to its development we also know the other form of calendar which is in digital form that we usually found in gadgets such as handphone or tablets and surely it is portable. Rinfo which is an email supporting facilities for the needs of Raharja College may help Pribadi Raharja in coordination and communication about task and/or event. Rinfo has some applications that integrated with Rinfo itself, such as RinfoGroup, RinfoSites, RinfoDocs, RinfoDrive, RinfoH and RinfoCal. RinfoCal is an calendar application that can be use as schedule time reminder application and it will send any reminder not only to one person but some or couple persons. RinfoCal may sent an pop-up notification or email notification. This paper will discuss about what is RinfoCal, how to use it, what’s the purpose of using RinfoCal, benefit of RinfoCal and so on. But, instead of its benefit, there are also some shortages including many people who using Rinfo doesn’t get the benefit of RinfoCal because they just pretending that RinfoCal is just an usual calendar.  This paper also present six problems from conventional reminder that will solved by RinfoCal fews are just doing reminders only once at a time or just remembering only one person, a mind mapping to simplify the analyze of problem and make the best solution, eight literature reviews that had been done to help analyzing problems of research.

Relation between the different of religion comunity in the multicultural nation as in Indonesia be a natural phenomenon that it cannot be avoided. As to one of the problem that had appeared in this case is about wedding problem betweena moslem with the difference religion womans. Majority of the Indonesia religious scholars as scholar in Majelis Tarjih Muhammadiyah had been prohibiting wedding like that with various reason. while a part little of the contemporary moslem scholars have been permiting the wedding. The points which will discussed in this research is how is opinion of Majelis Tarjih Muhammadiyah about the law of wedding with the woman from Ahl Al-Kitab and its ijtihad methodology. This research should analyze the argumentation of the Majelis Tarjih that make forbidding a muslem married with the difference religion womans. This research using library research approach dan content analysis. The results of this research are: (1) Majelis Tarjih of Muhammadiyah forbidding the wedding with sad al-dzari’ah as its argumentation; (2) Majelis Tarjih’s opinion has been irrelevant because two reason, the mistake of methodology and the change of the Indonesian contemporary society (based on an empiric data). Keywords: Ahlu Kitab; Majelis Tarjih; Different Religion Marriage
