It focuses on epistemology and ontology. In the process of forming Islamic civilization, the nature and the essence of Islamic philosophy, its necessity, possibility, and impossibility are some of the main challenges of the 21th-century Islamic world. The main purpose of this study was to show the essence of Islamic philosophy based on the specific definitions presented for the philosophy today. The content of Islamic philosophy has been taken from the revelatory sources of Islam. Being affected by the schools of Peripatetic and Illuminationist and Transcendent philosophies, Islamic philosophy has reached such an eminence that is forming a great Islamic civilization. The data were collected through library research and were analyzed using a descriptive-analytical approach. The most important result of the study was the establishment of the position of Islamic philosophy, i.e., its superiority to other philosophical schools of the world.

This study aims to reveal the relationship between Islamic philosophy and Islamic economic philosophy, both in terms of foundation, operation, and objectives. This library research (Library Research) uses documentation data collection techniques with data analysis, namely content analysis. The results showed that the relationship between sharia philosophy and sharia economic philosophy is that there is a philosophical foundation based on al-qur'am, hadith, ijma 'and qiyas, as well as operational principles, observations are made, take generalization conclusions and serve as theory, while the goal is both want to get happiness in the world and the hereafter, but what distinguishes the two lies in the broader study of sharia philosophy and complexity, while Islamic economic philosophy specializes in sharia economic studies. But for sharia economic philosophy discusses tauhid, caliphate, tazkiyah, and masuliyya. Operational principles, observing, drawing conclusions and making theory. The goal of obtaining falah, namely survival, freedom of desire, and strength and honor.

By the 21st century, the spiritual and material monuments of Islamic civilization, the scientific heritage of scientists are evaluated all over the world as a sign of incomparable greatness. In particular, “the invaluable contribution of great scientists and thinkers to the development of world science and culture in the Middle Ages and beyond, the first Eastern Renaissance in world history - the Muslim Renaissance - is rightfully recognized by the world scientific community”. One of the most important branches of Islamic science is the science of meaning ( علم المعاني ). An attempt to understand the charm of the Quranic language in the reality of language and speech means the word “xabar”, “inshāʼ”, “musnad”, “musnad ilayhi”, “qaṣr”, “faṣl”, “vaṣl”, “iyjāz”, “iṭnāb”, “musāva” such as grammatical, lexical, semantic, stylistic, artistic and aesthetic indicators, the social nature of language, ways of expression, language features of the word. The science of meaning is a set of linguo-poetic views, and it is important to show its place in the classification of modern linguistics.

The world increasingly needs an alternative approach to economic development. This paper endorses the Integration of Knowledge (IoK) approach as the wisdom of humanity through Islamic Economics (IE). A review of relevant literature through qualitative methodologies of library research, discourse and critical content analysis highlights the civilisational practices of integration, how development of economics diverged from such practices and how heterodox approaches reacted to such divergence. A section on learning the wisdom of humanity from each other emphasizes the inevitable historical civilizational integration (IoK) and exchange of knowledge. It follows with a literature review of the development of mainstream economics, how it abandoned such historical civilizational practice and its sound foundations, namely ontology, epistemology, axiology and methodology. A highlight of heterodox economics (HE) responses reveals the alternatives to the mainstream-focused positivistic approach to economics. The inadequacy of those alternatives led us to demonstrate Muslim responses and the centrality of IE as a comprehensive alternative heterodox economic approach. The analysis shows how IE grew along Islamisation of Knowledge (IOK) as two parallel and major intellectual iṣlaḥ (reform) and tajdīd (renewal) movements. A brief review of the development of each shows the potential of IE’s IoK methodological reasoning to revive the IoK approach in economics as the wisdom of humanity. The sound IE philosophical foundations, namely ontology, epistemology, axiology and methodology, have a major impact in that process. Thus, utilising the core IoK objective within IOK together with IE contributions shape the process of overcoming problems and issues of mainstream economics. Actionable recommendations to practitioners and academics depict how the IE approach to economics could be implemented and sustained along SDGs agenda.

Abstract The end of the Cold War changed the world order. This change created opportunities for a short time to have an international hegemony to switch to international polycentrism. Huntington had anticipated and explained a confrontation and remake of the international order. This author explains that Islam as a civilization does not have a core state like other civilizations. Turkey today is one of these countries which is trying to take this role of the core state for Islamic civilization. The creation of the core state for Islamic civilization, and the making of all world civilizations with core states, pushed the world into the “civil-centrism” international detachment. However, Turkey as a core for Islam civilization, to the nuclearisation of Turkey can be done with the blessing and assistance of the “West”. Creating these civil-centrist centres also makes it possible to achieve peace and agreements in the global interest more easily.

The initial agenda of Methodism as a renewal movement in the Church of England was ‘to reform England, especially the church, and to spread scriptural holiness throughout the land’. Like most renewal movements in the history of Christianity, it did not succeed. Instead it morphed into a network of Methodist denominations across the world. ‘The people called Methodists’ outlines John Wesley’s new version of Christianity and its separation from the mother church. It describes the search for succession, the process of ordination, and the core elements of Methodism. Methodists insist on the sacraments of baptism and Eucharist, and on orderly ordination for their clergy. But beyond that there is flexibility, innovation, and adaptability.
