Premarital sexual behaviour is a social phenomenon that is common today. Modernization is one of the reasons for various parties to share pornographic behaviour on the pretext of being a medium for sexual knowledge. Adolescents with good self-control will be able to control negative behavioural impulses from external factors such as premarital sexual behaviour. This study aims to determine the relationship of self-control and media exposure with premarital sexual behaviour in 11th-grade students of Senior High School “X” in Malang City. The study utilized a correlational quantitative method with a cross-sectional design. A total of 76 students, selected using a simple random sampling technique, were included in the study. Data were collected through a questionnaire and analysed using a linear regression analysis with a significance level of (α = 5%) = 0.05. The study found that self-control and information media were both partially and simultaneously related to the premarital sexual behaviour in adolescents. Based on the analysis, the beta value of the self-control was β = 0.303, and that of the information media was β = 0.227. This indicated that the self-control variable had the most dominant relationship with premarital sexual behaviour. Further, the R-Square value was 0.416, which meant premarital sexual behaviour in 41.6% of the 11th-grade adolescents of Senior High School “X” in Malang City was related to two independent variables, self-control and information media. Keywords: adolescent, self-control, media exposure, premarital sexual behaviour

The existence of COVID-19 pandemic brought extraordinary challenges to the stakeholders, teachers, parents, and students. Thus, the researcher believed that there is an effect of teaching-learning process in new normal education to students’ performance most especially using modular type of learning in Mathematics. With this, the study sought to determine the perception of the students regarding modular distance learning approach (MDLA) in Mathematics, identify the challenges of the students, examine the effect of MDLA to academic performance of students in Mathematics, determine the level of academic performance of students, determine the significant difference on perceptions when they grouped according to their gender and age, and determine the relationship of students’ perceptions regarding MDLA to their academic performance in Mathematics. The descriptive research design was utilized in this study. The researcher gathered one hundred seventy eight (178) grade 11 STEM students currently enrolled in MSU-Sulu Senior High School through the use of purposive random sampling. The survey questionnaire was applied in the study. Mean, frequency counts and percentage, t-test for independent samples, one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA), and person product-moment correlation were used to analyze and interpret the data. Based on the result, the study revealed that students’ perceptions agreed on using modular distance learning approach (MDLA). It means the students had positive perceptions regarding MDLA in Mathematics. The study also revealed that students agreed on using modular distance learning approach (MDLA) in Math have little challenges. It had also a positive effect to students’ performance in which students performed very satisfactory in Mathematics which means they had good quality performance. However, the study also revealed that it has no significant difference on their perceptions when they are grouped by gender and age which means the students had the same perceptions. Moreover, the findings revealed that there is no enough evidence to conclude that there is significant relationship of the students’ perceptions to the academic performance of the STEM grade 11 students using the new method of teaching modular distance learning approach (MDLA) amid COVID-19 pandemic. Therefore, the researcher concluded that the academic performances of STEM students were not affected by their perceptions in MDLA. This means that the quality of performance did not depend on their perceptions. And the researcher also concluded that this approach helped students to improve their math performance. Since it proved that this approach improved the mathematical understanding and helped the students to have good performance then the researcher recommended that MDLA must be continued in face-to-face instruction and highly recommended to use modules. Teachers guided those who need special attention and need to prepare easy type of modules in Mathematics to understand well. Any member of the family can help to guide and serve as para-teachers. Trainings, workshops, and seminars should be provided to the teachers to improve themselves and academic performances of the students.

In clustering sampling technique the subject was used in this research is 6 students, shared  in  3  groups.  They  are  2  students come from public vocational school, 2 students come from public senior high school and 2 students come from private senior high school and vocational school. Data was collected through test and interview.   Data   analysis   used   in   this research refers to Milles and Huberman in Moellong’s book; they are data reduction, data display and conclusion drawing. The result showed that the student’s understanding is various enough in answering the  set  test.  Depending on  the first subject analysis (S1) who came from private school, he did not understand about the concept of set. The second subject analysis (S2) and the third subject analysis (S3)  who  came  from  public  school,  they had understood. But, they need to be careful and patient to avoid the mistakes. The data which  had  gained from deeply interview, showed that the subject analysis (S1), (S2) and (S3) were able to indicate the relationship of school origin with the student’s concept of understanding within answering the set test.

The relative effectiveness of continued, lapsed, and delayed smoking prevention intervention was tested with senior high school students. The original intervention was conducted during Grades 7 through 9, with significantly fewer intervention students reporting smoking than control students. The intervention was reintroduced in the 11th grade to one-half of intervention students (continued intervention), was withdrawn from the other half (lapsed intervention), and was initiated with one-half of control students (delayed intervention). The 11th-grade smoking rates of these three groups were compared to those of a fourth group, a continued control group. Results showed that continued intervention students reported significantly less smoking than continued control students and lapsed intervention students. Additionally, the delayed intervention group exhibited smoking rates lower than the lapsed intervention and continued control groups. This finding underscores the importance of continuing smoking prevention activities, as well as initiating these activities, in senior high school years.

The purpose of this study was students in senior high school 3 Bulukumba. 265 respondents sampling technique used consecutive sampling technique this type of research is an analytical study with a cross-sectional approach. The test used for the relationship of obesity whit student achievement is the fisher’s exact test while the test used for the relationship of parental work with student achievement is the Kolmogorov Smirnov test. The results of the study are respondents with type 1 obesity with good achievement scores of 27 respondents (87.1%) and achievement scores of less than 4 respondents (12.9%). While respondents with type 2 obesity with good performance scores were 9 respondents (56.2%) and achievement scores were less than 7 respondents. And the work of parents as PNS with a good achievement value of  15 respondents (93.8%) and less achievement scores of 1 respondent (1.6%). While respondents with the work of parents as entrepreneurs with good achievement scores of 10 respondents (55.6%) and achievement scores of less than 8 respondents (44.4%). Then the work of parents as farmers with good performance scores as many as 11 respondents. While the achievement score is less than 2 respondents (3.8%). The conclusion of this study is there's is a relationship of obesity with the achievement of students in senior high school 3 Bulukumba between parental work and the achievement of students in high school 3 Bulukumba.
