Optimizing the Islamic school quality improvement through 7P concept

Purpose of the study: The purpose of this study is to design and formulate the practice of optimization strategies performed by Islamic schools to improve school quality and customer satisfaction. Methodology: This study used field research method as the data obtained through interviews and direct observation. The object of the research is SMP Muhammadiyah Sinar Fajar Cawas and SMP Islam Terpadu Muhammadiyah An Najah Jatinom Klaten, Central Java, Indonesia Main Findings: The results of the study show that the optimization of quality improvement performed by two schools under study is a marketing mix strategy through 7P application: (1) product of a variety of programs; (2) price of school fees offered to parents; (3) places of both schools are strategic and accessible by public and private transportation; (4) promotion through printed, electronic, and social media; (5) people including educators and office staff are young and enthusiastic; (6) physical evidence of school buildings and student reports and; (7) process of teaching and learning in both schools have met national education standards. The seven concepts are very influential in improving and optimizing the progress and quality of schools. The most influential concept applications in SMP Muhammadiyah Sinar Fajar are product, price, place, and people. Meanwhile, product, price, place, and physical evidence are five major applied concepts carried out in SMP Islam Terpadu Muhammadiyah An Najah. Applications of this study: This research is expected to be applied in schools, universities, and the wider community that focuses on education issues and optimizing the quality of Islamic schools Novelty/Originality of this study: Therefore, the impacts of the seven concepts are the high public interest; young, enthusiastic, and high creativity teachers; a variety of programs; teachers who are admired by prospective students and parents and; professional and certified school principals.

Partners in this research are Madrasah Tsanawiyah Swasta‘Aisyiyah Pasar Merah and Madrasah Tsnawiyah Swasta Islamiyah Belawan. The existence of schools ‘Aisyiyah is equipped with school administration as a means of supporting learning resources and student learning success. As one source of learning in schools, administration helps achieve school quality improvement. Considering the importance of school administration, it is necessary to have a neatly arranged management effectively and efficiently so that the high quality administration functions of the school in order to improve school accreditation can really be realized. The purpose of the administration of Madrasah Tsanawiyah is to advance a school if the administration is neatly arranged and systematic so that it can improve the quality of schools and principals and students. Management of Administration in Madrasah Tsanawiyah Swasta‘Aisyiyah is still inadequate, as stated in Article 35 paragraph (2) Government Regulation Number 19 of 2005 concerning National Education Standards needs to stipulate Minister of National Education Regulation on School / Madrasah Administrative Standards. However, the problems found were not a few school administrations whose management was not professional. This is due to the understanding that the school administration still does not understand about managing the school administration properly. The target to be achieved through this PKPM activity is the development of school administration management for Madrasah Tsanawiyah Swasta ‘Aisyiyah which is effective and efficient. Implementation methods carried out (1) Preparation of deliberations with partners, PWA Majelis Didasmen Wilayah and Madrasah Tsanawiyah Swasta‘Aisyiyah (2) Implementation (actions) fostering management of school administration' Aisyiyah, (3) Observation of management of school administration 'Aisyiyah, (4) Evaluation The Administration Management Development Checklist, and (5) Reflections on Administratio of Madrasah Tsanawiyah Swasta‘Aisyiyah.

This study aimed to describe in depth between the link of school policy and the school quality improvement. The method in this study is a qualitative method using the case study presented descriptively. This research was conducted at SMA Negeri 2 Babat Tomat Kabupaten Musi Banyuasin. Based on this study it was found that the First, free school policy can help the economy / ease the burden of school costs to be incurred by the parents. Second, the policy constraints of the application for free school educa-tion at SMAN 2 Babat Toman is not very effective, so that the students' interest is not increasing, infrastructure is one of the obstacles in the implementation of free school education, how the quality of schools will be increased if it is not supported by facilities and complete infrastructure. Third, the quality of school education free SMAN 2 Babat Toman already realized well with regard to input, input turns unselected maximum, that is the students. Fourth, the implementation of free school education in Banyuasin, the quality of school SMAN 2 Babat Toman Muba Sumsel was not increased. This means that the implementation for free school education quality of school SMAN 2 Babat Toman was not increased.Keywords : free schools, school quality, case studies

This study aimed to explore the survival of school financing management during the COVID-19 pandemic, to assure the quality of teaching and learning continuously. This study used a qualitative design, and data collection is carried out by observing resource persons and in-depth interviews, analysis or analysis of documentation and a combination of the three as triangulation method. The collected data were analyzed using an interactive model. The results showed that financial management strategies in managing school finances effectively and efficiently, through transparency, accountability and responsibility, are considered to have contributed to the prospects, quality, progress and sustainability of education in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic. This is based on the fact that many quality and good schools eventually experience setbacks due to the lack of transparency, accountability and responsibility in the management of education funds. Openness in schools can promote accountability and fight corruption in education, if it is implemented effectively and any malpractice is dealt with clear consequences. The implication is the strategies of education financing management in terms of transparency, accountability and accountability need to be carry out consistently to ensure the improvement of school quality runs in a sustainable manner.

This study aims to find out the position and role of lecturers in carrying out the task of implementing the national education system and realizing the goals of national education. Lecturers are one of the determinants of the quality of education. The success of the implementation of higher education is largely determined by the readiness of the lecturer in preparing their students through teaching and learning activities or the learning process. The strategic position of lecturers to improve the quality of educational outcomes is strongly influenced by professional abilities in teaching and their level of welfare. To realize this; then the strategy of empowering lecturers is needed in order to realize professionalism that can be accounted for. The empowerment strategy implemented will be able to raise the dignity and level, improve the quality of learning, improve the quality of national education and provide quality services. Empowerment of lecturers is intended to create a work atmosphere or climate that leads to the development of potential, empowerment, and protection.

Education as a learning activity or teaching and learning process can occur both inside and outside, as an educational activity can take place in the family, as well as in official educational institutions, activities or institutions are able to instill and make Islam as the basis for implementing education. The strategy implemented in facing the development of science and technology is the motivation of students' creativity towards the development of science and technology itself where Islamic values become a source of reference, educating skills, utilizing science and technology products, creating a strong link between religion and science and relationships with scientists who hold science and technology authority in their respective fields, Instill broad attitudes and insights into the future of humanity through the ability to interpret religious teachings. One of the priorities of national education development in relation to the development of the quality of human resources is related to improving the quality of each type and level of education so the existence of Islamic education in the face of the development of science and technology needs to be developed policies that emphasize improving the quality of human resources, intellectual intelligence, emotional intelligence, and spiritual intelligence.

Financing education in schools is an important thing in effort to improve the quality of education. This study aims to (1) Planning financing strategies in improving school quality; (2) Implementation of financing strategies in improving school quality; and (3) Evaluation of financing strategies in improving school quality. The research approach used is qualitative research with a type of case study research. Data obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation in obtaining data. The stages carried out in the research are the stages of preparation, implementation, and reporting. Data were analyzed by analyzing data, compiling data, synthesizing, looking for patterns, finding out what was meaningful, what was researched and decided to be reported systematically. The results obtained from this study are (1) Planning strategies for improving the quality of Sambas 2 State Junior High School compiled and outlined in the form of RKS and RAPBS; (2) Implementation of financing strategies in Sambas 2 State Junior High School using economic unit strategies, donations of school committee funds and parents of students, submitting proposals to the government and school committees and BOS; (3) Evaluation of financing strategies in improving the quality of education in Sambas 2 State Junior High School is carried out through four stages: evaluation of results of activities for a year/semester and/or quarterly, evaluation of employee performance results through programs, evaluation carried out in accordance with organizational mechanisms, and evaluation analysis SWOT includes the results of internal and external analysis; (4) Evaluation of financing strategies at Sambas 2 State Junior High School is done by making school financial reports which are divided into several items according to the technical reporting guidelines. Based on the results of the study stating that the implementation of the quality improvement strategy through financing strategies at Sambas 2 State Junior High School has been running very well and is in accordance with the principles of financial management and the process of improving the quality of the institution.

Abstrak Dalam proses belajar mengajar peran supervisi kepala madrasah memiliki peran strategis dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan, di mana para guru didalam melaksanakan tugasnya merupakan ujung tombak dalam mensukseskan tujuan pendidikan nasional. Di dalam pelaksanaan proses belaajar mengajar para guru seringkali mendapat kesulitan,dan kesulitan itu akan terjadi kemandegan dan kegagalan sekaligus berdampak pada mutu pendidikan, peran supervisi atau supervisor memiliki peran strategis dalam memberikan layanan terhadap guru yang mendapatkan kesulitan atau terjadi penurunan dalam kompetensinya. Tulisan ini berfokus pada kepemimpinan kepala madrasah dalam peningkatan kinerja. Tulisan ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif. Data-data yang sudah didapatkan kemudian dianalisa dengan menggunakan analisis data deskriptif. Kepemimpinan kepala madrasah dalam peningkatan kinerja guru menggunakan dua teknik yakni supervisi akademik berbasis pada individu dan kelompok. Pelaksanaan supervisi akademik teknik individu untuk meningkatkan kinerja guru di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Sirajul Ulum Jatiurip Krejengan Probolinggo yaitu menggunakan teknik orientasi bagi guru baru, classroom observation dan individual converence, sedangkan pelaksanaan supervisi akademik teknik kelompok untuk meningkatkan kinerja guru di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Jatiurip Krejengan Probolinggo yaitu menggunakan teknik rapat dewan guru, workshop/ lokakarya, bacaan terpimpin, buletin board dan karyawisata. Kata Kunci: kepala madrasah, supervisi akademik, kinerja guru, madrasah ibtidaiyah   Abstract In the teaching and learning process, the supervisory role of madrasah headmaster comprises a strategic role in improving educational quality, while the teachers in doing their tasks are seen as the lead in the efforts of achieving national education goals. In the implementation of teaching and learning process, most of the time teachers experience difficulties in which it causes stagnation and failure in improving as well as directly affecting the quality of the education itself. The role of supervision, or supervisor, possess a strategic role in providing services to teachers who experience difficulties or those who suffer declining competence. This paper focuses on the performance improvement of the leadership of the headmaster at madrasah. This paper used qualitative research methods. The data that has been obtained is analyzed by using descriptive data analysis. The leadership of Head master at Madrasah in improving teacher’s performance is done by using academic supervision techniques based on individuals and groups. The implementation of academic supervision technique within individual in improving teacher’s performance at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (Islamic Primary School) Sirajul Ulum Jatiurip Krejengan Probolinggo is carried out by using orientation techniques for new teachers, classroom observations and individual conversions. Meanwhile, the implementation of academic supervision techniques within groups in improving teacher’s performance in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Sirajul Ulum Jatiurip Krejengan Probolinggo is carried out by using teacher council meetings technique, workshops, guided reading, bulletin boards and field trips. Abstract: This study aims to explore and analyze the principal's management in improving the quality of education at MAS Thawalib Tanjung Limau. The approach used in this research is qualitative research approach by using field research type (field research). The subject of the study was the principal at MAS Thawalib Tanjung Limau. Data collection is done through observation, interview and documentation study. The analyst technique used is as follows: (1). Data reduction, (2). Presentation of data, (3). After the data is compiled and then drawn conclusions in the form of matrices and narratives. The results show that with good management, there is a quality improvement in MAS Thawalib Tanjung Limau, this is proven, with many events that have been successfully implemented in order to improve the quality, such as camps and provincial and provincial silat martial arts ever held at MAS Thawalib Tanjung Limau.

<p>This study aims to examine the existence of several factors that determine the power of the adoption of production technology on micro souvenirs creative enterprise. The location of the research was determined purposely in Purbalingga Wetan Subdistrict, Purbalingga District, Central Java Province, Indonesia. Research respondents numbered 28 people. The results showed that the various determinants of the adoption of production technology have economic, social and environmental motives. The power of influence of each factor is also distinct. The adoption of different craftsmen resulted in the quality of souvenir products from coconut waste being unequal. Some have a motif design according to market trend. Product price level is feasible. However, some products are only produced semi-finished. The price of this product is relatively lower. The economic feasibility of craftsmen is closely related to the rate of adoption of production technology. There are small number (&lt;25 percent) of craftsmen use mechanical technology. The rest is still aided on the traditional manual techniques in processing waste coconut into souvenirs or creative handicraft.</p><p> </p>
