This article analyzes the ecranization pattern between the novel Raksasa Dari Yogya and the adapted film. Filmize novel usually changes the story text's content because not all novel story text content can be moved on the screen. This study aims to get the changes that occur in the novel's adaptation pattern to the form of a film medium, and the shape of representations existed in the two works. This study uses an ecranization perspective. The methodology used in this study is qualitative because the data are in the form of narrative text in novels and visual texts which are the results of the film captured Raksasa Dari Yogya. The data collection method was collected by reading, taking notes, watching, recording film source data, and processing it. Data analysis is in the form of interpretation of data obtained from novel texts and films. The study results show that there are changes: reducing, adding, or varying modifications in terms of the content of the story text. It is caused by the difference between the media used between novels and films. Books and movies reveal Yogyakarta local wisdom representations in the form of arts and tourism. The local wisdom depicted in novels and movies reflects Yogyakarta culture's richness, strengthening a region's identity. The changes can make the film more attractive without changing the substance of the novel as a whole.

This research aims to see the difference in the effectiveness between the quantum learning model at the experiment class and TPS (think pairs share) model at the controlling it is observed from the learning motivation and mastering the students' Arabic Language vocabulary. This research uses the quantitative method, which is quasi-experiment. The data collection method is a questionnaire, test, and observation with independent sample t-test data analysis. This research collects data and serves it systematically by using SPSS 22 for windows application. The results showed that quantum learning models in practical classes and TPS learning models (think pairs share) in control classes are classified as useful because they increase average value. This indicates that using various learning models can increase the motivation and mastery of learners' Arabic vocabulary so that educators do not just monotonously apply one model in learning. Educators are also required to use many models (multi-methods) because varied learning models can positively influence increasing motivation and mastery of Arabic vocabulary.

This study aims to determine the feasibility of using learning media based on Videoscribe Sparkol on congruence and similarity material at SMP PGRI 2 Bogor. The method used in this study is the Research and Development method using ADDIE development procedures, namely (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). The data collection method used an expert test validation questionnaire. The results of data analysis in the media validation process included media experts, namely 4.00 meaning "good", material experts, namely 4.00 intention "good", and development experts, namely 4.25 meaning "very good". It can be concluded that the average feasibility of learning media based on Sparkol videoscribe is feasible because the intermediate results are promising. This media development was carried out until expert testing and was not carried out in the field due to the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020

In the education sector of South Solok District, it is still lagging behind other regions in West Sumatera, this can be seen from the results of the UN rankings in 2016 which is ranked 16th out of 19 cities / districts in West Sumatera. Based on observations and discussions conducted on some teachers and principals, information is obtained that this is because in learning students are more likely to wait what is delivered by teachers or learning is still concentrated on the teacher. Then in learning the teacher has not used various media of learning. The media used can not accommodate the fact of the student's daily condition. This service activity aims to improve the competence of teachers of South Solok SMP in developing contextual based learning media with scientific approach. Target to be achieved is the improvement of competence of teachers and media of learning. To achieve the objectives and targets set, the methods used consist of six stages: observation stage, orientation and discussion stage, preparation stage, implementation stage, monitoring and evaluation stage and final stage of data analysis and report generation. Based on data analysis of pretest and posttest results, obtained an increase of average value from pretest that is 43,07 become 47,42 at postest. Furthermore, to know the difference between the two values of pretest and postes paired t test, obtained the results of significance 0.000 < 0.05, so it can be concluded that there is a difference between pretest results with postes. Furthermore, based on the questionnaire given at the end of the training activities, the results obtained that the participants said this activity is very useful and related to the subjects taught in schools

The designing of promotional media is an important thing in supporting the development of a tourism destination. With the tight competition among the destinations, the tourist choices are swinging choices. These days, the storytelling method is a method that highly buzzed in the marketing because it is considered effective to influence the future consumen emotionally. The novel of Cintaku di Lembata is a travellougue novel which tells about a tour to Lembata Island. Seing to its many predecors that has successfully raise the popularity of the destination that being used as the setting in the novel, then the potential of this novel to become a promostional media for Lembata – NTT is also worth to be researched. The purpose of this research is to know the potential of the novel of Cintaku di Lembata as a promotional media and the strategy that can be applied to maximize its utilization. The researched was conducted qualitatively with the data collection method of observation, interview, and focus group discussion (FGD). The theory that was applied was the theory of tourism promotion and the data analysis was done by using the SWOT method. The result shows that the novel of Cintaku di Lembata is very potential to become a tourism promotional media for Lembata because the content is informative and persuasive. However, there are some adjustments needed to maximize the utilization of the novel Cintaku di Lembata to promote Lembata – NTT. Those adjustments include, among others, in the matter of transforming the form into a film form and to choose the focus of attraction to be shown. This research tries to analyze and discuss about the forms and functions of the operator in English found in the novel entitled Twilight written by Stephanie Meyer as the data source. The method used in conducting this research includes; chose the data source, data collection and data analysis. All the data from the novels are collected through library research by selecting the sentences which are related to the topic and analyzed systematically based on its types and functions. The theories applied to support this paper are the theory of Quirk, et al in their book entitled A Grammar of Contemporary English (1972) as the main theory, the theory of Cobuild in his book entitled English Grammar (1990) and others that are relevant to the topic are used as supporting theories. Based on the result of the analysis, it is found that the operators have four major forms namely do, be, have, and central modals. Besides, the functions of the operators are helping the positive declarative sentence in forming negative, interrogative, and nonassertive. In forming negative, the operator is immediately added with the negator not or the enclitic contracted form n’t and it is placed between the subject and the predication. Then, there are two forms of interrogatives or questions, namely yes-no questions and wh-questions. In yes-no questions, operatoris placed in front of the subject generally and in the wh-questions, the operator follows the wh-words. Besides, the operators also have important function in forming the nonassertive because the nonassertive form usually appears in the negative and interrogative sentences.

This research is purposed to analysis of multiple characters of major character in the novel Tell Me Your Dream by Sidney Sheldon. Like any other Sheldon’s previous novel, this novel tells an interesting mysterious story with a woman as the main character. Reading literature such as novels is interesting and challenging. It requires a different approach than reading a textbook.The writer can apply the knowledge about multiple character presented in the novel that can be used to convey informations.And the last but not least the writer can give contribution to teach prose.Based on background of the topic, writer states the exact problems of this study as follows: (1) What is multiple characters generally? (2) What are multiple characters of main character found in the novel? (3) What does Tell Me Your Dreamscontribute to Teaching Prose? Based on the problem the writer states, the objectives of this study as follows: (1) To explain the multiple characters definition.(2) To explain the multiple characters of main character found in the novel. (3) To explain what Tell Me Your Dreams novel contributes to Teaching Prose. This research uses data collection method with Content-analysis: A review of research in any area, for instance, involves the analysis of the contents of research articles that have been published. The technique of data analysis through some ways such as reading the novel, books and international journal, classifying the data, and analyzing the content of the novel.Based on the analysis, the writer concludes that Tell Me Your Dreams a novel written by Sidney Sheldon in 1998 is one of the media of teaching prose for example analyzing a novel. The contributions of analyzing novel for Teaching Proses are an alternative fun way of studying prose, increasing student interest in the preservation of literature and increasing students’ listening ability reading ability, writing ability, and speaking ability

Karakter merupakan kepribadian yang khas pada diri seseorang yang terbentuk karena pengaruh lingkungan. Dalam gerak, iringan, dan kostum pada tari juga memiliki nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter pada Tari Topeng Getak di Rumah Seni Madhu Ro’om Pamekasan Madura. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif, dengan objek penelitian Tari Topeng Getak di Pamekasan, Madura dan nilai-nilai pendidikan yang terkandung di dalamnya. Pengumpulan data didapatkan dari observasi, wawancara dengan beberapa narasumber, studi pustaka, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan analisis kualitatif yang disajikan dengan teks bersifat naratif. Hasil penelitian mendapatkan tujuh nilai pendidikan karakter pada Tari Topeng Getak di Rumah Seni Madhu Ro’om. Adapun beberapa nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter pada Tari Topeng Getak yaitu (1) religius, (2) disiplin, (3) tanggung jawab, (4) rasa ingin tahu, (5) cinta damai, (6) demokratis, dan (7) cinta tanah air. Penerapan nilai-nilai tersebut dapat membantu peserta didik sebagai motivasi dalam latihan dan selalu diterapkan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Character is a distinctive personality in a person who is formed due to environmental influences. In motion, accompaniment, and costumes in dance also have character education values. This study aims to describe the values of character education in the Topeng Getak Dance at the Madhu Ro'om Art House Pamekasan Madura. This research uses qualitative research methods, with the object of research being the Topeng Getak Dance in Pamekasan, Madura and the educational values contained in it. Data collection was obtained from observations, interviews with several sources, literature studies, and documentation. The data analysis using qualitative analysis and is presented with narrative text. The study results obtained seven values of character education in the Topeng Getak Dance at the Madhu Ro'om Art House. The values of character education in Topeng Getak Dance are (1) religious, (2) discipline, (3) responsibility, (4) curiosity, (5) peace-loving, (6) democratic, and (7) love the homeland. Applying these values can help students as motivation in training and are consistently applied in everyday life.

This study aims to reconstruct the possessive pattern of the Indonesian language in Ambon dialect with Indonesian standards. This research is descriptive qualitative. The data of this study were derived from the speech of the people of Ambon and surrounding cities who communicate using Ambonese dialect in Indonesian. Indonesian data was obtained from the translation of Ambonese dialects of Indonesian. This research was located in all areas of Ambon City and its surroundings. The time needed by researchers to collect data is for two weeks. The data collection method used is non-participant observation. There are two techniques used to support non-participant observation methods, namely recording and recording techniques. This study uses two ways in the process of data analysis, namely the equivalent method and the method of religion. The results of the study show that there are differences in possessive construction patterns (ownership) between Indonesian Ambon dialect and Indonesian standard. The difference is the location of the possessor and the different possessed. In the Indonesian language, Ambonese dialect, whatever the possessor category, both pronima persona, self-name, and not human, always precedes possessum. That is different from standard Indonesian, which is in the possessum construction pattern that precedes the possessor. Another difference is that the possessive construction pattern in the Ambonese dialect Indonesian language had the addition of the word pung between the possessor and possessed, whereas in standard Indonesian there is no addition. Penelitian ini bertujuan merekonstruksi pola posesif bahasa Indonesia dialek Ambon dengan Indonesia baku. Penelitian ini merupakan kualitatif deskriptif. Data penelitian ini bersumber dari tuturan masyarakat Kota Ambon dan sekitarnya yang berkomunikasi menggunakan bahasa Indonesia dialek Ambon. Data bahasa Indonesia diperoleh dari hasil terjemahan tuturan bahasa Indonesia dialek Ambon. Penelitan ini berlokasi di seluruh wilayah Kota Ambon dan sekitarnya. Waktu yang diperlukan oleh peneliti dalam mengumpulkan data adalah selama dua minggu. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi non-partisipan. Ada dua teknik yang digunakan untuk mendukung metode obeservasi non-partisipan, yaitu teknik rekam dan catat. Penelitian ini menggunakan dua metode dalam proses analisis data, yaitu metode padan dan metode agih. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan pola konstruksi posesif (kepemilikan) antara bahasa Indonesia dialek Ambon dengan bahasa Indonesia baku. Perbedaan tersebut adalah letak possessor dan possessum yang berbeda. Pada bahasa Indonesia dialek Ambon, apapun kategori possessor baik pronima persona, nama diri, maupun bukan manusia selalu mendahului possessum. Hal itu berbeda dengan bahasa Indonesia baku, yaitu pada pola konstruksinya possessum-lah yang mendahului possessor. Perbedaan lain adalah pola konstruksi posesif pada bahasa Indonesia dialek Ambon mendapat penambahan kata pung di antara possessor dan possessum, sedangkan pada bahasa Indonesia baku tidak mengalami penambahan.

ABSTRACTBackground: Hypertension is one of the most common diseases, because this disease is suffered byboth men and women, as well as adults and young people. Treatment of hypertension does not onlyrely on medications from the doctor or regulate diet alone, but it is also important to make our bodyalways relaxed. Laughter can help to control blood pressure by reducing endocrine stress andcreating a relaxed condition to deal with relaxation.Objective: The general objective of the study was to determine the effect of laughter therapy ondecreasing elderly blood pressure in UPT Panti Wredha Budhi Dharma Yogyakarta.Methods: The design used in this study is a pre-experimental design study with one group pre-posttestresearch design where there is no control group (comparison). The population in this study wereelderly aged over> 60 years at 55 UPT Panti Wredha Budhi Dharma Yogyakarta. The method oftaking in this study uses total sampling. The sample in this study were 55 elderly. Data analysis wasused to determine the difference in blood pressure before and after laughing therapy with a ratio datascale that was using Pairs T-TestResult: There is an effect of laughing therapy on blood pressure in the elderly at UPT Panti WredhaBudhi Dharma Yogyakarta marked with a significant value of 0.000 (P <0.05)

The research aims to uncover the symbols in the novel The Alchemist and to gain knowledge about the moral teachings in the symbol. This research is descriptive qualitative approach. Data sources in this study are words, phrases or sentences in the novel Alchemist. Data collection method is a literature study method with note taking technique. Data were analyzed using description and content analysis methods. The results showed that the novel The Alchemist contained many symbols. These symbols include: (1) wise parents, who symbolize both negative and positive things. From his appearance, parents can symbolize something bad, but behind his old age he symbolizes a knowledge that is very much and wise; (2) stones that symbolize something hard, not easily broken, and can provide clues to something; and (3) deserts or deserts which can be interpreted as symbols of drought, aridity, unattractiveness, emptiness, despair, determination for ignorance, and also as symbols of devotion.
