In Minangkabau society, the Tunduak is a tradition when the newly marriage visits father in law's house for the first time. This article aims to discuss the meaning of implementing the Tunduak Tradition carried out by the bride in Solok Regency, West Sumatra Province. The research method used is a cognitive semiological methods. Data were collected through field surveys in photographs and words or narration obtained through audio and visual recording techniques. Data analysis was performed using the semiotic theory of myth by Rolland Barthes. The implementation of this tradition is accompanied by members of the bride's relatives who come with various kinds of luggage to be presented to the groom's relatives. The study results show that the implementation of the Tunduak Tradition in the view of the Minangkabau custom in Solok Regency gives its characteristics in Minangkabau customs' performance. Namely the accompaniment of the group's configuration walking to the house of the bride's parents-in-law while carrying the luggage placed on the head, and only done by the woman's close relatives of the bride. It reflects a cultural parade that can be used as an exciting spectacle in various areas in Solok Regency. The study results concluded that the implementation of the Tunduak Tradition represents an institutionalized myth to glorify the position and position of men in the matrilineal society in Minangkabau.

The people of Tilatang Kamang, Agam Regency, West Sumatra have a tradition, namely the tradition of khatam Qur'an children. This tradition is a celebration / gratitude for the success of children in completing their recitation of the Koran (khatam). Usually this activity is held once a year, to be precise during school holidays. This tradition is a tradition that is ingrained in the life of the Tilatang Kamang community. This Quranic tradition of khatam is also found in several other areas in Minangkabau, but each region has its own uniqueness. In Tilatang Kamang this ceremony is enlivened by barracks around the village, the aim is to inform the crowd that there are several children in this area who have successfully finished reading the Qur'an (finished their studies) and can read the Koran properly and correctly. . The ceremony ended with the announcement of the winners of the khatam participants in the recitation of the Qur'an. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with an ethnographic approach. The data collection technique was done by interview and observation, while the data analysis technique used data reduction, reflection, and conclusion. The results of this study illustrate that the Khatam Qur'an ceremony has become a tradition for the Tilatang Kamang community of the Agam Regency for children who have completed their studies and also as one of the requirements for children to continue their education to a higher level.

The purpose of this study was to determine the implementation of repressive and preventive actions of the Ad Hoc board’s Ethics and Conduct Code in Bolaang Mongondow KPU. The research method used was empirical legal research methods, the data were from primary and secondary data with data collection techniques used were documents study and interview. The data were analyzed using qualitative data analysis, where all collected data were analyzed, connected into one another, and presented descriptively and systematically. Based on the study results, it is known that the repressive and preventive mechanism of the Ethics and Conduct Code of Ad Hoc Board of Bolaang Mogondow KPU in organizing Election for the Governor and Deputy Governor of North Sulawesi in 2020 had been carried out in accordance with statutory regulations. There were 5 (five) cases of Ethics and Conduct Code violations carried out by the Ad Hoc Board within the Bolaang Mongondow KPU.

The orchid genus Gastrodia Brown (1810: 330) comprises approximately 50 species with a broad Old World distribution (Pridgeon et al. 2005, Cribb et al. 2010, Kenji 2014). Currently, there are at least 20 accepted species of Gastrodia recorded from China (Chung & Hsu 2006, Chen et al. 2009, Hsu & Kuo 2010, 2011, Yeh et al. 2011, Hsu et al. 2012, Tan et al. 2012, Hu et al. 2014). During our field surveys of Chinese traditional medicine in Huaping National Nature Reserve, Guangxi Zhuangzu Autonomous Region, China, a Gastrodia was spotted setting fruit in the past few years. Finally, we were able to observe it flowering in August 2014. After careful comparison morphological study with its close relatives (Averyanov & Efimov 2006) and three other species of Gastrodia recorded in Guangxi, namely Gastrodia damingshanensis A.Q.Hu & T.C.Hsu (2014: 256), Gastrodia elata Blume (1856: 174) and Gastrodia menghaiensis Z.H.Tsi & S.C.Chen (1994: 559), we confirmed this Gastrodia as a new species and thereby a new member to the flora of Guangxi. A detailed description, illustration and ecological information are presented below. We also discuss the remarkable dimorphic columns of this new species, which are documented in Gastrodia for the first time.

Students feel bored when the teaching approach is monotonous and unchanging, making it essential for Physical Education, Sports, and Health (PJOK) teachers to provide variations in the learning process. Therefore, this study aims to determine student motivation in football material by implementing small-sided games. A descriptive and quantitative research method with a school survey approach was employed, while the data was collected by using questionnaires distributed to 49 students. Then, data analysis was performed by using descriptive statistics in the editing, coding, and scoring stages. The results showed that two and four students had 4.1% and 28.6%, meaning they had very low and low motivation to follow the football material. Eighteen students scored 36.7%, nine had 18.4%, while six scored 12.2%, which means they had sufficient, high, and very high motivation. Therefore, the study results concluded that giving small-sided games made students' motivation to follow football material more suitable. Furthermore, a study with more extensive and varied sample sizes was recommended to discover other solutions to the problem.

The purpose of this research was conducted to find out how the ratio of earning ratios on PT. Bank Pembangunan Daerah Sumatera Barat. The research method used is the method of qualitative and quantitative data analysis. The type of data used, namely secondary data obtained from Bank Indonesia and the publication of the report of the regional development banks of West Sumatra 2013 period – 2017. The results of this study showed that the rate of ROA with an average of 2.18% bank is said to still be in the position of the less healthy. The level of ROE also showed the unhealthy conditions in the bank with an average of 8.32% which means that banks are inefficient in generating net income, while the levels of NPM with an average of 3.92% banks increase whice means that the bank is said to be good at generating net income.

<p>ABSTRACT<br />The success of ANTV captured the attention of the audience through the Indian Movie show influenced ANTV's position to television in the first rank. The television, which used to be in the last number among rival televisions, tried the first time to broadcast an Indian movie called Mahabharata, which had been successfully aired by TPI in the 1990s. The latest version of the Indian movie gets a great reception from the audience. This article aims to describe ANTV's strategy in the television industry through Indian movie to win the competition. According to Pringle and Starr (2006: 123-125), when planning a program to be aired, the television managers should pay attention to the nine factors, namely (1) Strength or Weakness of Competing Stations, (2) Building Audience Flow, (3) Building Audience Habit, (4) Available Audience, (5) Audience Interest, (6) Advertiser Interest, (7) Budget, (8) Inventory Program, and (9) Local Production Capabilities. The authors limit this study to the available audience and the scheme programing of ANTV. The research method used qualitative descriptive with data collection technique, consist of interview, observation, and documentation. Based on the results of research and data analysis can be concluded that the Indian movie impressions in accordance with the ANTV audience target, so this show succeeded in drawing the attention of the audience, and became the top program. Scheme of ANTV programs illustrate the suitability of the broadcast time slot division and the available audience. These two conclusions refer to Pringle and Starr's thoughts. ANTV's strategy review to win the competition in the television industry opens up a new idea. Televisi yang tadinya berada di nomor buncit di antara televisi saingan, mencoba kali pertama menayangkan film India berjudul Mahabharata, yang pernah sukses ditayangkan TPI tahun 1990-an. Versi terbaru film India ini mendapat sambutan luar biasa dari audiens. Artikel ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan strategi ANTV dalam industri televisi melalui tayangan film India untuk memenangkan persaingan. Menurut Pringle dan Starr (2006:123-125), ketika merencanakan sebuah program yang akan ditayangkan hendaknya pengelola televisi memperhatikan Sembilan faktor, yaitu: (1) Strength or Weakness of Competing Stations, (2) Building Audience Flow, (3) Building Audience Habit, (4) Available Audience, (5) Audience Interest, (6) Advertiser Interest, (7) Budget, (8) Program Inventory, dan (9) Local Production Capabilities. Penulis membatasi kajian pada ketersediaan audiens (available audience) dikaitkan dengan daypart pada pola pemrograman ANTV. Metode penelitian menggunakan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data, terdiri dari wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan analisis data dapat disimpulkan bahwa tayangan film India sesuai dengan target audiens yang diusung ANTV, sehingga tayangan ini</p><p>berhasil menyedot perhatian penonton, dan menjadi program unggulan. Penjadwalan program acara di ANTV menggambarkan kesesuaian pembagian slot waktu siaran dan ketersediaan audiens. Kedua simpulan ini sesuai dengan pemikiran Pringle dan Starr. Abstract: Kecap ABC Advertisement in edition Suami Sejati Hargai Istri is one of Kecap ABC advertisements produced from a series of campaigns called Suami Sejati Mau Masak, Terima Kasih Perasan Pertama launched by Heinz ABC Indonesia to express appreciation to the wife or mother in domestic work, one of which is cooking. This advertisement not only contains the aim of appreciating men for women in the kitchen but also conveys the message of feminism that is conveyed visually in the advertisements. The purpose of this study was to analyze the visual messages of feminism in the Kecap ABC advertisement in edition Suami Sejati Hargai Istri using the meaning of Roland Barthes' semiotic theory. This study uses a descriptive qualitative research method with Roland Barthes' semiotic approach with the stages of formulating the background, problems, objectives, formulating research methods, collecting data, analysis, discussion and conclusions. The result of this research is the analysis of selected scenes from the Kecap ABC advertisement in edition Suami Sejati Hargai Istri that most supports the visual message of feminism and then analyzed with Roland Barthes' denotative, connotative and mythical meanings of semiotics. Keywords: semiotic, television advertisment, feminism Abstrak: Iklan Kecap ABC edisi Suami Sejati Hargai Istri merupakan salah satu iklan Kecap ABC yang dihasilkan dari serangkaian kampanye Suami Sejati Mau Masak, Terima Kasih Perasan Pertama yang diluncurkan oleh Heinz ABC Indonesia untuk menyampaikan bentuk apresiasi pada istri atau ibu dalam pekerjaan domestik salah satunya memasak. Dalam iklan ini tidak hanya mengandung tujuan apresiasi laki-laki pada perempuan di dapur tetapi juga menyampaikan pesan feminisme yang disampaikan secara visual dalam iklan-iklannya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menganalisa pesan-pesan visual feminisme dalam iklan Kecap ABC edisi Suami Sejati Hargai Istri menggunakan pemaknaan teori semiotika Roland Barthes. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kulitatif deskriptif pendekatan semiotika Roland Barthes dengan tahapan merumuskan latar belakang, masalah, tujuan, merumuskan metode penelitian, mengumpulkan data, analisis, pembahasan hingga kesimpulan. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah analisis adegan-adegan terpilih dari iklan Kecap ABC edisi Suami Sejati Hargai Istri yang paling mendukung adanya pesan visual feminisme  lalu dianalisis dengan pemaknaan semiotika Roland Barthes denotatif, konotatif dan mitos. This study aims to find out the inter-functional substitution of Japanese in a discourse. The data used in this study are written data taken from the discourse of the novel entitled Gurotesuku by Natsuo Kirino. In general, the research method used is a qualitative method. Data collection is done by referring and recording techniques. Meanwhile, informal methods are used in presenting the results of data analysis. The theory of cohesion and coherence proposed by Halliday and Hasan (1976) and Halliday (2014) with a structural approach used as theory in this study is supported by Makino and Tsutsui (1989 & 1995). Based on the results of the study, it is known that inter-functional substitution occurs in internal substitution and external substitution. The Japanese inter-functional substitution found in Gurotesuku's novel is junsetsu no setsuzokushi 'conjunction cause-effect relationship' which consists of genin to riyuu 'cause and effect conjunctions' and jouken 'conjunction requirements', gyakusetsu no setsuzokushi 'conflict conjunctions', iikae to reiji setsuzokushi no 'parafrasa conjunction', heiretsu to ruika no setsuzokushi 'equivalent relationship conjunction', sentaku no setsuzokushi 'choice conjunction', and hosoku no setsuzokushi 'additional conjunction'. In this study, the data shows that there is only one inter-conjunction external substitution of Japanese, namely heiretsu to ruika no setsuzokushi ‘equivalent relationship conjunction’ with sentaku no setsuzokushi ‘choice conjunction’.
