Residents and the government of Babakan Village have had difficulty managing their waste since the closure of the Babakan landfill several years ago. This study aims to formulate the concept of waste management in the Babakan Village, Bandung Regency, considering the waste generation and the characteristics of the residents. Data on the waste generation was obtained by sampling in several houses, while data on the characteristics of citizens was collected by distributing questionnaires. Based on the data gathered, it was found that the average waste generation per person per day in the Babakan Village was 0.134 kg with the composition of organic waste dominating up to 70.5%, while inorganic as much as 29.5%. The dominant types of waste in inorganic waste groups are plastic. In general, respondents have a good level of knowledge about waste. The enthusiasm of the community is high in participating to manage the waste with the 3R programs, such as recycling and operation of waste banks. With these data, the planning of handling of organic waste is done by a simple composter and biopori cylindrical water absorption hole, while handling inorganic waste can be done by operating a waste bank system.

The implementation of the Community Partnership Program (PKM) was carried out in Pematang Johar Village. This village was chosen because the waste management activities still use the Kumpul-Angkut-Dispose system. In addition, it is still a community member who manages waste by completing receiving waste, This PKM is carried out by providing training on waste management to the people in Pematang Johar Village. The method in this PKM activity is carried out with two approaches namely; socialization, training and FGD. The results of the PKM implementation show that: community group consisting of PKK Group and BUMDes Management Group have understood the practice of household scale waste management using the 3-R Principle. In addition, community groups have understood and are able to practice organic waste management into compost through the composter method. Community groups also understand and are able to practice inorganic waste management into creative goods such as piggy banks.

Garbage can be interpreted as a consequence of the activities of human life. It is undeniable, garbage will always be there as long as life activities continue to run. Every year, it can be ascertained that the volume of waste will always increase along with the increasing pattern of public consumerism. The landfill which is increasingly polluting the environment requires a technique and management to manage waste into something useful and of economic value, Bantas Village, Selemadeg Timur District, Tabanan Regency currently has a Waste Management Site (TPS3R) managed by Non-Governmental Organizations (KSM ) The source of waste comes from Households, Stalls, Restaurant Entrepreneurs, Schools, Offices and Ceremonies which are organic and inorganic waste. The waste management system at Bantas Lestari TPS with 3R system is Reduce (reduction of waste products starts from the source), Reuse (reuse for waste that can be reused) and Recycle (recycling waste) to date it is still running but not optimal. The method used in this research is descriptive quantitative with data analysis using SWOT analysis. This study produces a Waste Management Strategy which is the result of research from the management aspect, aspects of human resources and aspects of infrastructure facilities.

Moreover urban waste can be seen as a cultural problem because it affects various aspects of life, and the impact on urban waste management system nowadays are not effective and efficient yet. The reason for conducting this research is the emergence of the informal sector phenomena of urban waste management that can contribute to reduce the volume of urban waste production. The purpose of this research is to find out the informal sector strategy in urban waste management, especially inorganic waste. The researchers used qualitative research to explain the phenomenon as the focus of research. The result of research is 3M phenomenon, that is derived from Indonesian words (Mengubah = Changing, Mengurangi = Reducing, Manfaat = Benefit), in the management of urban inorganic waste. The explanation are; Mengubah: turning waste into economic value; Mengurangi: If the economic value of the urban waste volumes increases, the volume of urban waste will eventually be reduced; and Manfaat: the benefits obtained are management cultivating empowerment, reducing the burden of the landfill volume, being closer to inorganic zero waste condition. Suggestions are as follows: [a] development of management towards go-green, [b] urban waste management based on predictable community empowerment will be more effective and efficient in the future.

<p>Waste management in the Dasan Agung Market in Mataram City still uses conventional patterns. This pattern is not in line with the NTB Province policy that launched the concept of zero waste in 2019-2023. One approach that can support the program is the 3R method of waste management. This study aims to develop a waste management plan using the 3R approach. The method used in this study is the observation method, which is observing the current conditions and measuring the generation and composition of waste. The technique of determining the sample and measurement time and the procedure refers to SNI-19-3964-1995. The results showed that the amount of solid waste generation in Dasan Agung Market was 2.7 m3 / day and the weight of solid waste was 467 kg / day. Waste composition was obtained by organic waste 52.60% and inorganic waste 47.40%. TPS 3R is planned with an area of 110 m2, namely 74 m2 for composting area and 36 m2 for sorting and handling inorganic waste, and residual waste. The composting system implemented is using the drum method with a capacity of 100 liters, a total of 307 pieces. Waste Management Planning using the 3R Approach is capable of handling 80% of the waste, and 20% of the residue is disposed of in the landfill.</p>

Garbage is a major problem in the community which can cause environmental pollution, the daily life of the village community is more about processing the final waste by burning it at a certain time, therefore with the existence of a waste bank there will be an increase in environmental awareness and perhaps economic awareness. The Garbage Bank is a business entity engaged in inorganic waste management. People can sort and save waste at the Garbage Bank, so that it can generate economic value. The Garbage Bank serves customers in saving waste, but most of the Garbage Bank still uses conventional transaction facilities, which causes the transaction data to be lost, damaged, or inaccurate calculation of transaction data. The Garbage Bank also serves garbage collection to customer locations around the Garbage Bank. This research has the main objective to provide assistance in the making and provision of administrative bookkeeping to the Management of the Cepaka Harum Plastic Bank.
