Following the status-anxiety hypothesis, the psychological consequences of income inequality should be particularly severe for economically vulnerable individuals. Oddly, however, income inequality is often found to affect vulnerable low-income and advantaged high-income groups equally. We argue that economic vulnerability is better captured by a financial-scarcity measure and hypothesize that income inequality primarily impairs the psychological health of people facing scarcity. First, repeated cross-sectional international data (from the World Values Survey: 146,034 participants; 105 country waves) revealed that the within-country effect of national income inequality on feelings of unhappiness was limited to individuals facing scarcity (≈25% of the World Values Survey population). Second, longitudinal national data (Swiss Household Panel: 14,790 participants; 15,595 municipality years) revealed that the within-life-course effect of local income inequality on psychological health problems was also limited to these individuals (< 10% of the Swiss population). Income inequality by itself may not be a problem for psychological health but, rather, may be a catalyst for the consequences of financial scarcity.

The importance of maintaining connections and relationships across tertiary education for students is discussed as a way of examining the nature of Pacific education in challenging times, particularly in terms of fractured face-to-face learning. Universities have been thrust into an unpredictable time of remote/distance/online learning in a short period of time. The process has been unsettling and challenging for people across the world. As Pacific students and staff experience the unchartered waters of Covid-19 and global disturbances, they are searching out ways to build purposeful connections, shape-shifting and ways to maintain communities of academic togetherness while harnessing the tools of their knowledge trajectories in research. This article will focus on four key principles: valuing personal and academic connections beyond the textbook; discovering heart-warming methods of connection; and connecting for growth and wellbeing.

The years 2020 and 2021 are some of the most unusual and memorable in the lives of those on the planet today. The world has been united in its efforts to address and eliminate a global pandemic. The pandemic has heightened our awareness of the intersectionality of class, gender, race, and more, at home and abroad. With health concerns at a zenith, national economies at risk, racial tensions at an all-time high, and environmental concerns looming, we, the people, are called to step up to do our part to bring solutions, resolutions, and conclusions. This moment is not one to sit back and wait, rather a moment for everyone to do their part. We are living on this planet together—each of us has a role to play. What is your role? Do you know?

The United Nations (UN) in 2010 report entitled “Born Too Soon, The Global Action Report on Preterm Birth” placed Indonesia in fifth place as the country with the highest number of premature babies in the world. This was supported by data from the Central Bureau of Statistics in 2016, saying the infant mortality rate (IMR) reached 25 deaths per 1,000 babies born. The implementation of the community service (PKM) is through a strategic approach to the community in the form of promoting free incubator lending to families with premature babies. The approach is carried out directly (direct approach) by using effective communication to health workers, as well as to urban villages around the work area. With the free incubator, many parents who have LBW babies feel helped and are very grateful, the incubator lending process that has been loaned to parents ranges from 1 to 2 months, but there are also families who borrow more than 3 months. This is because the baby's condition is difficult to develop. With the availability of free portable incubator loans carried out by the Surya Nusantara Nursing Academy Free Incubator Volunteers, in collaboration with the Indonesian Premature Baby Foundation, the people of Pematansgiantar and its surroundings feel helped, and are very grateful, not only that the babies who feel comfortable being in the incubator but also the parents also who feel happy, and they do not worry about the development of their baby. They also do not need to experience stress in connection with funding for the care of premature babies, because the incubator and blue light phototherapy equipment is lent out for free without being charged a penny.

The world has been experiencing an unprecedented global pandemic since December 2019. Lockdowns, restrictions in daily life, and social distancing characterize the new environment in which the world population finds itself, with minor variations depending on the country of residence. Television, social media, and other sources of information tend to influence and provide information about COVID-19 with varying tones. This study investigated the impact of alerts, news, and information about COVID-19 from social and mass media on the emotional state of the people a year and a half after the start of the pandemic. A questionnaire was developed and distributed to 63 participants to assess the relationships between factors such as social media experience, perceived hope, worry, anxiety/depression, attentiveness, trust, health care, health risk, health safety, irritability, mental balance, and emotional state/distress. With the resulting information, a four-factor model was developed to demonstrate the relationships between social media experience, perceived hope, worry, and emotional state/distress. Additionally, a short interview was conducted among the participants in order to collect their opinions and qualitatively analyze them. This exploratory study is carried out in April, 2020, when corona virus is spread all over the world and become Economic crisis 2020.The objective of this study is  to answer some questions arise in mind, how many countries infected and reduce their economic activities? What are effective fiscal and monetary policies at international level to address the crisis? Is monetary and fiscal policy used as vaccine to prevent the world economy from crisis?  It is a hot topic these days when world is facing this covid-19. Researcher get information from different website, international monetary fund(IMF), Organization of economic cooperation and development (OECD) Standard& poor’s, (S&P) rating agencies, and some past papers to explain the impact of Corona virus on world economy. Further explain the losses from one industry to another industry. And finally concluded that world economy is fighting with dual nature crisis. On one hand Death of million people from corona, other is fall down of economy. First challenge is to save the people from death, and secondly to save the world from economic crisis. But these two challenges are contradicted.  If want to save people lives then implemented stay at home, social distancing policy, and shut down the country. But we can save our people live but economy fall down sharply because of shut down all businesses in the country. If save economic crisis then people should go out and work as usual, world economy will boost but soon we will lose million or billion of people live which also effect the fall down economy. Policy maker, doctors and health care manufacturer should sit together find ways which is benefits for both people live and save economic crisis.
