<p><em>This study aims to develop ETOPAPA-based mathematics teaching materials for elementary school students. Product trials were conducted using a pretest-posttest experiment group design. Data analysis techniques were carried out with item response analysis and t test. Validation test results on the feasibility of ETOPAPA-based mathematics teaching materials are in the very good category with a score of 4.45. Analysis of the effectiveness of ETOPAPA-based mathematics teaching materials was carried out on the experimental class (E) and control class (K). Based on calculations obtained E&gt;K, with an average N-gain score of 0.64. The score is included in the interpretation of the medium category (0.3≤ g ,7 0.7). Based on these calculations, the application of ETOPAPA-based mathematics teaching materials was declared effective. The results of the practicality test of ETOPAPA-based mathematics teaching materials are in the practical category with a positive response and 85.02% student response. Based on the results of the analysis, it can be concluded that, learning flatter material using ETOPAPA based mathematics teaching materials at SDN 128 Palembang is valid, effective, and practical.</em><em></em></p>

The teaching material focuses on the theme of rain which is discussed through the I-SETS approach (Islamic, scientific, environmental, technological, and social). This study aimed to determine the characteristics, feasibility, and enchancement of student character after using teaching materials. This study uses the Research and Development (R D) method in the form of One Group Pretest-Post-test Design. Data collection techniques through interviews, observation, questionnaires, and test results. Data analysis techniques is quantitative descriptive. The characteristics of the teaching materials that had been developed were viewed from three aspects (content, presentation, and language). This characteristic is supported by validating the feasibility of teaching materials of 86.58% had very feasible criteria. Readability results reached a percentage of 53.20% in the appropriate category for students. The results of the application of teaching materials showed that there is no influence yet of teaching materials on the character development and integrated thinking skills which are based on the N-gain test acquisition of 0.169 from the results of the character questionnaire, 0.218 from the results of the character observastions, 0.085 from pretest-posttest mark. This is due to obstacles when learning online and limited number of encounters.

The research goals was to be achieved in the development of these materials is to produce an integrated thematic teaching materials are valid, practical, and effective. This research is a type of development and uses ADDIE models which consists of five phases: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation phases. Test the validity of research data obtained through the sheet validity of teaching materials. Data obtained through the sheet practicality of the impementation of lesson plans, teacher response assessment and student response assessment. Effectiveness seen from the student activity, assessment process and assessment of results. Based on the validity of test data showed that the avarage percentage of the teaching materials validator is 89.26% with the category of very valid. The test results practicalities of the implementation of lesson pland obtained 91.43% with a very good category. Rating teacher responses obtained 93.05% and 89.58% student response. The effectiveness of teaching materials seen from the student activity, obtained an avarage percentage of 85.67% with a very active category. Of the daily assessment conducted seen tends to increase student learning outcomes. Based on these results, we can conclude an integrated thematic teaching materials at Elementary School Fifth Grade using Problem Base Learning developed can be considered valid, practical, and effective.

The purpose of this study is to find out the results of the development of practicum modules in STTL Mataram laboratories are based on a process skills approach. The procedure of practicum module development refers to the ADDIE learning development model. Data collection techniques were carried out by means of an assessment by 3 experts and limited trials on students in the even semester of the 2018/2019 academic year at D-3 Kesehatan Lingkungan of STTL Mataram with a sample of 30 people. The instruments used in this study were expert assessment questionnaire and student response questionnaire on the results of module development. Data analysis techniques use expert judgment categorization criteria, whereas limited trials use the average categorization of the results of trials using the Gutman scale calculation. The results showed that the score of expert assessment of the modules developed were (1) Module 1 semester 1 average score of 3.5 included in both categories with information can be used with a little revision; (2) Module 3 semester average score 3.5 is included in both categories with information can be used with a little revision; and (3) Module 5 semester average score 3.5 is included in both categories with information can be used with a little revision. While the limited test results show that the modules developed are included in the Good category but need to be improved and refined to be able to produce modules that are ready to be used in practicum.

The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of the use of 3-D learning media towards the student’s Indonesian learning result of 2nd grade students in SDI Sabilillah on the sketch material. The type of research used was Quasi Experiment. The subjects of the study were 2nd grade students in SDI Sabilillah in year 2019/2020 which were divided into experimental class and control class. The results of the pretest and posttest tests conducted were obtained an average pretest result of 49.5 and an average posttest of 70.25 in the control class, and the average results of the pretest 50 and an average posttest of 80.25 in the experimental class. After the t test was performed on the pretest and posttest in the control class to get the results of thitung> ttable or 3.67> 2.093 then Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted, so it could be concluded that there was a positive influence on the control class. T test results in the experimental class were thitung> ttable or 3.73> 2.093 then Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted, so it could be concluded that there was a positive influence on Indonesian language learning by using 3-D media. When it was compared to the t test in the experimental class and the control class, namely (3.73)> (3.67) it could be seen that there was a difference between the experimental class using 3-D learning media and the control class using conventional learning, and the influence of using 3-D media were greater than conventional learning.

In-practice traditional lecture, discussion and assignments based pedagogical practices play its role in students’ learning and retention power. The current study intends to investigate whether authentic pedagogical practices are more effective in terms of enhancing students’ educational performances and retention power or the traditional pedagogical practices. Therefore, this study focused on investigating the effects of authentic and traditional pedagogical practices on students’ educational performances and retention power at secondary level. The objective was to measure the effects of authentic and traditional pedagogical practices on students’ educational performances and retention power. A pre-test post-test comparative group design was adopted to conduct the study. The students of experimental group were exposed to authentic pedagogical practices while the control group was treated on traditional routine pedagogical practices. Data from the experimental and control group were collected through a self-developed test. Thrice was the test administered to both groups, the collected data were analyzed through Mean, Standard Deviation and independent sample t-test. Results of the study concludes that students of experimental group performed higher on the post-test than the students of control group, the performance of experimental group was also better as compared to the control group on the test of retention power. Keeping in view the results that data yielded, it was recommended that teachers at secondary level may follow authentic pedagogical practices as compared to other traditional ones. Based on the findings of the study relevant and applicable recommendations were made.

AbstractThis article is intended to measure the effectiveness of using Article 33 of the 1945 Constitution for junior high school students and the improvement of teaching materials, in accordance with the principles of development. As an experimental research, the form of this research is a quasy experiment. The object of this research was 53 students in SMP Kota Singkawang. Data were collected using measurement techniques. This study uses a different test using t-test as a data analysis tool. Based on the SPSS output, the t-test results show that the significance = 0.00 <α 0.05, which indicates that there is a significant difference in learning outcomes between the pre-test and post-test results. Thus it can be concluded that the effective use of teaching materials has an impact on students' understanding of the material of Article 33 of the 1945 Constitution at SMP Kota Singkawang. Redox contains concepts that are quite difficult to understand the students, because it involves chemical reactions, concepts that are abstract and tiered. The findings in the field also shows contextual learning and yet still shows its application in technology or phenomena in their daily lives. This happened at Muhammadiyah kedawung high school students, 75% of students declared incomplete on redox material. Character building has not been fully applied in learning. Experimental design used was pretest - posttest control group design. Tests performed twice, ie before and after treatment both in the experimental class and control class. Data collection techniques using the methods of documentation, observation, tests, interviews and questionnaires. Based on the results of t-test showed that there are differences in learning outcomes in redox material before and after treatment both in the experimental class and the control class. Experimental class learning outcomes increased by 81.39% and 45.45% control class. This learning model also affect the growth of honest character, responsibility and caring environment students although the increase is considered low. The students' response to learning analyzed qualitatively gained an average of 79.33 with very good category.

Abstrak Penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen dengan desain penelitian pretest-posttest control group design.  Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk: (1) Mengetahui apakah penggunaan bahan ajar berbasis kontekstual berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan pemahaman konsep fisika siswa; (2) Mengetahui peningkatan pemahaman konsep fisika siswa yang diajar menggunakan bahan ajar berbasis kontekstual lebih tinggi dari pemahaman konsep siswa yang diajar tanpa menggunakan bahan ajar berbasis kontekstual. Sampel penelitian ini adalah kelas eksperimen XI IPA 7 dan kelas kontrol XI IPA 8 dengan jumlah siswa masing-masing kelas sebanyak 30 orang di SMA N 2 Kupang. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh bahwa penggunaan bahan ajar memiliki pengaruh untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konsep siswa pada materi suhu dan kalor dengan nilai efek sebesar 70,1% dimana diperoleh nilai t = 2,704 dan sig = 0,009  pada kolom equal variances assumed dan variansi pada kedua kelas adalah sama atau homogen (F = 0,027; sig = 0,869). Kata Kunci: Bahan ajar kontekstual, Pemahaman konsep, Materi suhu dan kalor Abstract [The Effect of Using Contextual Teaching Materials on Increasing Understanding of the Concept of Student Physics Temperature and Heat Material]. This research is an experimental study with a pretest-posttest control group design research design. The purpose of this study was to: (1) Determine whether the use of contextual-based teaching materials has an effect on increasing the understanding of students' physics concepts; (2) Knowing the increasing understanding of students 'physics concepts taught using contextual-based teaching materials is higher than students' understanding of concepts taught without using contextual-based teaching materials. The sample of this study was the experimental class XI IPA 7 and control class XI IPA 8 with 30 students in each class at Kupang N 2 SMA. The results obtained that the use of teaching materials has an influence to improve students' conceptual understanding of material temperature and heat with an effect value of 70.1% which obtained the value of t = 2.704 and sig = 0.009 on the equal variances assumed column and the variance in the two classes is the same or homogeneous (F = 0.027; sig = 0.869) Keywords: contextual teaching materials, understanding of concepts, temperature and heat material

The purpose of this study was to get an idea of the effect of the use of assessment instruments in the form of animation to test understanding of the concept of refraction of light. The method used is a quasi-experiment with design posttest only nonequivalent control group design. As a control group used items were in the form of paper and pencil tests. Study was conducted on a class X student of SMA Tanjungpinang in Provinsi Kepulauan Riau of academic year 2013/2014. Samples were selected two classes of seventh grade classes were randomly parallel, as a control group and experiment group. Sum of sample of 85 people with 42 people for a percentage of the control class and 43 people for classroom experiments. Data collected after the experimental class and control class equally get learning the refraction of light. Gain control class test in the form of paper and pencil test which amounts to about 20 numbers, and the experimental class to get the test in the form of the same animation and the number 20, numbers matter. The research instrument used was a questionnaire about the pretest and posttest design. Data analysis was conducted using inferential statistics using SPSS 17.Based on the results the average score of the experimental class 74% with a standard deviation of 14 and an average score of 31% control class with a standard deviation of 12. It can be concluded that the test results of students' understanding of the concept of refraction of light that gets items were significantly different in animated form compared to students who obtain items were in the form of paper and pencil test. Understanding students' test results in sub concepts Snell's law, a concave lens and a convex lens using items were in the form of animation is higher than the students who use the items were in the form of paper and pencil tests. Students agree with the use of items were in the form of animation on comprehension tests concept of refraction of light. Students stated that the items were animated very interesting, a better understanding of the issue in question, to understand the purpose and content of questions, and a description of the problem becomes clearer. The use of items was suggested in the form of animation to be developed on other concepts in physics learning.

Teaching materials can be designed according to the needs of students so that students are always interested in learning them. One method that is thought to be able to create an interesting, motivating and enjoyable learning atmosphere when students learn material is a mind map. This study aims to develop Mind Mapping-based teaching materials in science learning with our friends' environmental themes and to monitor the practicality and effectiveness of the teaching materials used. This study uses the Research and Development (R&D) method with a 4 D model, namely the model consists of four development stages, namely Define, Design, Develop, and Limited Disseminate. This research was conducted in June 2020 at the MIS Tarbiyatul Islamiyah Guppi Medan elementary school with a sample students in class V-B. Based on the results obtained, the total validity average was 4.68. Based on the criteria for average total validity, it can be said that the mind mapping-based teaching materials developed are very valid and the proportion of feasibility is 93.61%, with proportions for each aspect: content (91.82%), presentation (93.75%), mind mapping (98.00%) and graphics (90.87%). The analysis of students was obtained based on the results of the N -gain test where the average N-gain test results for class V - B were high with a result of 0.8 with student learning completeness 88.46%. Based on the student response questionnaire, the results can be obtained from the aspects that can be the aspect of interest with the respondent agreeing that the percentage is 49.36% and strongly agrees at 50.64%. The assessment of the material aspect obtained the results of the student's response to agree 75.96% and strongly agree 29.04%, the assessment of the language aspect obtained the results of agreeing 36.54% and 63.46% strongly agree. The conclusion of this research is that science with the theme of mind mapping-based friendly environment gets the validity of media experts and teaching materials experts and can be declared very feasible, practical and effective where students also experience completeness in learning, besides that the students' responses to teaching materials provide a response agree and totally agree. Abstrak Bahan ajar dapat didesain sesuai dengan kebutuhan siswa agar siswa senantiasa tertarik untuk mempelajarinya. Salah satu metode yang diduga mampu membuat suasana pembelajaran yang menarik, memotivasi siswa dan menyenangkan ketika siswa mempelajari materi adalah mind map. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan bahan ajar berbasis Mind Mapping pada pembelajaran IPA Tema lingkungan sahabat kita dan mengetahui tingkat kepraktisan serta keefektifan bahan ajar yang digunakan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) dengan model 4 D yaitu Model ini terdiri dari empat tahap pengembangan, yaitu Define, Design, Develop, dan Disseminate terbatas. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan juni 2020 di sekolah dasar MIS Tarbiyatul Islamiyah Guppi Medan dengan sampel penelitian peserta didik kelas V B. Berdasarkan hasil yang diperoleh rata – rata total validitas adalah 4,68. Berdasarkan kriteria rata – rata total validitas dapat dikatakan bahwa bahan ajar berbasis mind mapping yang dikembangkan sangat valid dan persentase kelayakan 93,61%, dengan persentase untuk tiap aspek : isi (91,82%), penyajian (93,75%), mind mapping (98,00%) dan kegrafikan (90,87%). Analisis kognitif peserta didik diperoleh berdasarhan hasil uji N –gain  dimana rata – rata hasil uji N – gain keseluruhan kelas V – B tergolong tinggi dengan hasil 0,8 dengan ketuntasan belajar siswa 88,46%. Berdasarkan anget respon siswa dapat diperoleh hasil dari aspek yang dinilai yaitu aspek ketertarikan dengan responden setuju persentasenya sebesar 49,36% dan sangat setuju sebesar 50,64%. Penilaian dari aspek materi diperoleh hasil respon siswa setuju 75,96% dan sangat setuju 29,04%, Penilaian dari aspek bahasa memperoleh hasil setuju 36,54% dan sangat setuju 63,46%. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini yaitu bahan ajar IPA dengan Tema lingkungan sahabat kita berbasis mind mapping mendapatkan kevalidan dari ahli media dan ahli bahan ajar serta dapat dinyatakan sangat layak, praktis dan efektif dimana peserta didik juga mengalami ketuntasan dalam pembelajaran, selain itu respon peserta didik terhadap bahan ajar memberikan respon setuju dan sangat setuju.
