Food is indeed one of the mandatory things that must be fulfilled. However, the current condition of thepopulation growth which continues to increase is not accompanied by an increase in agricultural land sothat the available food stock may one day be insufficient. This makes a food problem which is closelyrelated to food security. PKK mothers are people who think about food for their families so that they havea huge influence. The decline in the amount of land and reduced food stocks in the era of the Covid-19pandemic because people flocked to buy large amounts of food stocks became a problem that was raisedin this community service program. The aim of this program is to introduce urban farming methods thatcan be done in empty house areas to increase food access to increase the value of family food security. Themethod used in the community service program was the online extension method and then carried out theurban farming practice which was carried out by one of the PKK mothers in Manang Village. It is hopedthat this example can become a role model for the people around him. The results of the community serviceprogram that have been carried out have improved the skills of PKK Manang Village women in cultivatingplants in the area of their home yard that is still empty or not in use. The existence of planting crops thatcan be harvested can meet food needs so that from the dimension of accessibility to food security it can befulfilled properly.

North Kolaka is one of the largest cocoa producing districts in Southeast Sulawesi, however in the last 10 years, there has been a decline in the area and production of cocoa plants in North Kolaka. Cocoa is the main source of income for the people of North Kolaka, a source of regional income (PAD), and a provider of employment for the community. Currently, the government is temporarily revitalizing the people's cacao plants in an effort to restore the prestige of North Kolaka as a leading production center in Indonesia. Pruning is one aspect of cultivation that is important for good cocoa production. Pruning cocoa consists of pruning shapes, pruning maintenance and pruning production. So far, the community has not done shape pruning, especially for clonal cocoa from plant propagation using shoot grafting techniques. This is reflected in the condition of the plant growth system, especially in clonal plants. Community service activities are carried out by way of outreach and counseling about pruning and maintenance of cocoa farmer groups. The activity received a positive response from partner farmers who were very enthusiastic about participating in extension activities and hoped that the same activities would continue to be carried out not only in pruning, but all aspects of the election, especially in supporting the revitalization activities that were being carried out by the Government and the Community of North Kolaka.   Keywords: Cocoa, shape pruning, maintenance pruning, clonal tree.

The increasing number of people who are not accompanied by the expansion of the area in Delanggu Village has resulted in reduced land for farming to meet food needs independently. The majority of the yards owned by residents in this village have an average area of 3 m2 which is relatively narrow. Vegetable cultivation with vertical farming techniques is one solution to overcome these problems. This cultivation can be done on vertical media so it does not require a large area. The purpose of this activity is so that the community can meet their food needs in the form of vegetables independently so as to create household food security. The service activity was carried out in Tegalsari Hamlet, Delanggu Village which was attended by 17 PKK members, 9 cloud community members and 6 teenagers. The community service method is carried out in stages, namely: preparation of tools and materials, socialization of efforts to create food security through vegetable cultivation with verticulture farming techniques and the correct way of vegetable cultivation starting from seeding, care and harvesting, and finally monitoring participants viaWhatsApp and offline. From the series of activities, the participation and enthusiasm of the participants was quite good. PKK members apply it more, because they have more time at home compared to the general public and youth groups.

Food is a basic need for humans therefore its availability must be guaranteed. The Bali Provincial Agriculture and Food Security Service (2020) states that the proportion of food expenditure for the people of Bali Province in 2019 is 43.92% and is still classified as food resistant, but doesn’t guarantee food security at the household level. The Covid-19 pandemic has caused difficulties in fulfilling food needs because losing jobs has added to the challenge of realizing food security. This study aims at determining how the household food security of farmers seen based on the proportion of household food expenditure, level of energy consumption (TKE) and factors that affect household food security. This research was conducted in Subak Sembung with 36 farmers as sample and analyzed using descriptive methods of cross analysis and multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that most of the farmer households were in a food vulnerable condition because there were many households with a high proportion of food expenditure (>60%). Farm income, non-farm income, food expenditure and rice prices variables have a significant effect on the farmer households food security.
