The integration of the pesantren curriculum in formal educational institutions has not been widely carried out. Although there are partial characteristics and have not been managed properly. The integrated management of the pesantren curriculum in madrasah can be used as an alternative in strengthening the uniqueness of madrasas, especially religious material. The results of this study indicate that the integration of the pesantren curriculum into madrasah can improve understanding of religious material more thoroughly and deeply. Classical book studies, which have been disinterested by young people, can be revitalized through the integration of the pesantren curriculum in madrasas. For that, it is necessary to plan, organize, implement, and evaluate carefully to implement integrated management of the pesantren curriculum in the madrasah curriculum. Structurally, the curriculum can be included in local content.

Objective: This study explores the characteristics and leadership style of kiai (boarding school leader and Islamic teacher) Manshur as a leader in the pondok pesantren (Islamic boarding school) that he fostered. Kiai Manshur’s leadership traits are also explored in this study in detail with in-depth analysis. Research Design & Methods: Several qualitative approaches were used to collect information about Kiai Manshur, including direct observation, questionnaires, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Technically, involve themselves and interact directly in the activities carried out by Kiai Manshur. The information is analyzed interactively, data reduction, data display, and drawing conclusions. Findings: The results of this study indicated that Kiai Manshur uses a special compilation in leading his pondok pesantren to form a distinctive leadership style. The style created the his leadership characteristics, including integrity, discipline, competence, trustworthiness, humanism, communication, and organizational. The leadership style of Kiai Manshur aims to produce anfa’linnas santri (good and helpful student). Implications & Recommendations: There is no perfect writing, but the limitations do not reduce the quality of the results study. Further research can discuss more about the anfa’linnas students, characteristics and effectiveness of application in the society. Contribution & Value Added: The results of this study provide a scientific contribution to leadership in organizations, especially in non-profit organizations such as Islamic boarding schools (traditional educational institutions) and the concept of anfa’ linnas student. Practically, the board of Islamic boarding schools and teachers can use these findings as material to develop the institution for the benefit of many people.

Religious culture of pesantren has its uniqueness which is still expected to be a support for the development of the education system in Indonesia. The authenticity and distinctiveness of the pesantren as well as the treasure the nation’s cultural traditions, is also a butter force for the educational pillar to bring up moral leaders of the nation, is a form of pesantren education that is characterized by traditionalism. This study used a qualitative approach. The data were collected through observations, interviews, and content analysis. The process of improving the quality of pesantren education is part of the development of national education, which is part of an effort to improve the quality of full human education. For achieving the quality of education, it must be based on a significant change. The change is needed in the management of quality and competitive educational institutions. Now one of the challenges faced by educational institutions is how to manage quality. Quality educational institutions, institutions that prioritize the quality of graduates and are able to demonstrate the values of education that make a top priority, due to a significant change in pesantren.

Islamic boarding school or <em>pondok pesantren</em> is one of the islamic educational institutions that grow fastly in Indonesia. Some efforts that can be done to improve the quality of <em>pondok pesantren</em> can be done with conservation activities that is through land optimalization. Activity of land optimalization is a strategic effort that can be done in <em>pesantren</em> environment in order to maintain the existing land resources in pesantren supported by large enough land and enough human resources. <em>Pesantren</em> which do the activities of land optimalization continuously referred to conservation islamic boarding school or <em>pesantren konservasi</em>. The program of <em>pesantren konservas</em>i include activities of land optimalization conducted in the field of feed crops to develop the potential the sector of animal husbandry. Focus on the goal to be achieved is to support the better feed for the better food too. This study was conducted in March–May 2017, at Pondok Pesantren Darul Fallah, Ciampea, Bogor. The methods through several steps include the identification of islamic boarding school, get contacts of foundation management, observation of islamic boarding school application and assosiation. Beside that, practical activities in <em>pesantren konservasi</em> include the clearing of land area, crop selection, planting, and mentoring. In addition to creating an islamic boarding school environment-based, <em>pesantren konservasi</em> also helps to develop human resources that can compete in science and economics.

They relatively concern about their pride, loyalty, and awareness of foreign language norms as an essential part of the Islamic Boarding School curriculum. It also has an impact on the quality of its acquisition. This study aims to describe the students' behavioral patterns in using foreign languages and their factors. The data was excavated from informants on five Islamic Boarding Schools integrated with stratified random sampling models. Data collection techniques were observations, surveys, and interviews. The obtained data were carefully and critically analyzed based on data reduction, presentation, and verification methods. The results showed that the foreign languages in Islamic Boarding Schools at West Sulawesi are generally used passively because the students’ activities highly focus on improving students’ ability in reading. The emphasis is also on the ability to understand Arabic text. Regarding Islamic Boarding School that applies language development for reading and active communication, sociologically, students use foreign languages only in a small number of linguistic situations and in specific domains, namely education. Culturally, foreign language behavior breeds symptoms of multilingualism, bilingualism, code-switching and code-mixing, monolingualism, and interference in all linguistic situations. It is due to the responsibility, loyalty, and motivation of foreign affairs that are still lacking and the insufficient quality of teachers, environmental conditions, and curriculum content.</span></p></div></div></div>

Salaf pesantren is an institution that is still strongly bound by old traditions. Answering the needs of the era, schools Salaf open formal educational institutions. Sensitivitypesantren Salaf against the phenomena that appear in the society is a social concern and reflexive owned evenare characteristic. So that the aspirations of the people making the boarding school received the developmentand advancement of science and technology. The real step taken is establishing formal educational institutionsfrom kindergarten through college. The character of a scholar is asceticism and totality. On the other hand,people still expect the efficacy of the function and role of pesantren Salaf like period once, without knowing thatit is actually what is expected it is experiencing overcast condition and shrinkage. Expenses are given the addedweight and more and more, but the ability to lift a boarding school in general was declining. Source overcastcondition and depreciation mainly boils down to the weight and quality of the “clerics who brought up”. Speech behavior is a sociocultural phenomenon that characterizes not only the peculiarities of a person’s cultural space, but also the quality of his moral health, and therefore can be viewed in the format of a healthy lifestyle. The most important characteristic of the moral health of society is the speech culture of young people. Theoretical and applied research presented in the article showed contradictions that exist in the attitude of students to speech behavior: a relatively satisfactory indicator of the desire of young people to improve the literacy of speech culture is combined with tolerance to the absurd, abusive vocabulary. The family and the status of educational institutions in which the respondents are studying has a significant influence on the formation of speech culture.

This study aims to determine the quality management of outstanding educational institutions at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah, where this research is conducted at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri 6 Sukoharjo. This research was conducted on quality planning at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri (MIN) 6 Sukoharjo in realizing outstanding educational institutions, reviewing and describing in more depth the implementation of quality at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri (MIN) 6 Sukoharjo in realizing educational institutions with achievement, and assessing and describing in depth more in-depth about evaluating the quality at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri (MIN) 6 Sukoharjo in realizing outstanding educational institutions. The methodology in this study uses a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques in this study are by observation, interviews and documentation. The method used to check the validity of the data is method triangulation, namely by using various methods as a consideration. The results showed that: 1). Planning: establishing the vision and mission as quality guidelines, commitment to the implementation of national standard schools, a comfortable and good service process, increasing the quality of students' input, using quality references set by the government, quality planning in management reviews, improving the quality of inputs in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri (MIN) 6 Sukoharjo is the result of a sustainable program, improving services through the distribution of questionnaires, the existence of a quality assurance design or design at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri (MIN) 6 Sukoharjo as a line and reference in order to maintain and improve educational institutions with achievement. 2). Implementation: implementing a national standard curriculum and a typical school curriculum, educators and education personnel have a minimum qualification of a bachelor, there is satisfaction from students and parents / guardians of students as users, graduates are 100% and equipped with expertise, the presence of representative infrastructure, transparent education management, very good and very close relations between the school and the community, the existence of special services for supporting learning activities. 3). Evaluation: conducting self-evaluation of school performance based on accountability, transparency, efficiency and effectiveness, evaluating the learning process at the end of each semester, compiling reports from the results of self-evaluations that have been carried out, compiling priority scales of various activities and follow-up programs on the results of self-evaluation the results of the analysis as a construction of improvements carried out gradually and continuously in realizing outstanding educational institutions.

Ukraine’s integration into global and European educational space, efficient implementation of educational reforms in this direction, the improvement of the quality of children and young people education is impossible without proper development of fundamental principles of marketing and management of educational innovations, first of all, among the Heads of New Ukrainian School. However, the absence of efficient mechanisms in Ukraine for training the above-mentioned Heads on marketing and management of educational innovations in New Ukrainian School negatively affects the quality of education therein and undermines the State education system in general. Therefore, the pressing issue at the current stage of education development in Ukraine is to determine the modalities and resources for the development of entrepreneurial and managerial competencies among the Heads of general secondary education institutions in the context of the power decentralization and establishment of consolidated territorial communities. With due regard for priority and pendency of the above-mentioned issue, its incomplete study, the principal objective of this study is to determine the key stages and describe the process of developing fundamental principles of marketing and management of educational innovations among the Heads of New Ukrainian School and measures for their efficient implementation. After performing analysis we have found that marketing and management of educational innovations of the Head of New Ukrainian School is his/her integrated, consistent and purposeful activity along with analysis and satisfaction of fundamentally new types of demand for educational services in the context of taking unconventional managerial decisions at his/her institution during such process.  Moreover, with due regard to the aforementioned approach, we outlined the key stages of the fundamental principles development of marketing and management of educational innovations among the Heads of New Ukrainian School. So they include: the formation and control of specialists team towards development and implementation of educational innovations; determination of educational services market segment, demand for which needs to be satisfied; definition of criteria and conditions towards formation and satisfaction of demand for providing certain types of educational services etc. It is established that there are problems in the process of implementation of all above-mentioned stages, namely: absence of financial independence of educational institutions; the desire of the Heads of educational institutions to have legal and financial independence; positive managerial experience of the Heads of educational institutions regarding development and implementation of educational innovations etc. In order to avoid all above-mentioned problems, we have determined measures for the efficient implementation of marketing and management of educational innovations by the Heads of New Ukrainian School. They include: providing financial autonomy to educational institutions; performing professional training of the Heads of educational institutions, their deputies and teaching staff in general; forming new and improving the existing material and technical resources of educational institutions; implementing professionally oriented staff policy by the Heads of educational institutions in order to attract the most promising and young professionals to work as teachers etc. The scientific novelty of the obtained results is to determine, substantiate and analyze the key stages of fundamental principles development of marketing and management of educational innovations by the Heads of New Ukrainian School in the context of transformation of regulatory system and scientific and pedagogical approaches to children and young people education (shift in priorities and components of the development in this area of social activity). The obtained results of the research is the ground for studying and providing a practical solution of the problem regarding the formation of high-quality staffing and provision of fundamentally new educational services at educational institutions.

Dari sinilah timbul berbagai model pengembangan SDM. Baik dalam bentuk perubahan kurikulum  pondok pesantren yang lebih berorentasi kepada kekinian atau dalam bentuk kelembagaan baru semacam pesantren agribisnis. Dan bahkan di beberapa pondok pesantren telah mengadopsi dengan teknologi maju. In the amid of the educational institutions growth, there is strict competition with the various advantages offered, schools that still want to exist in the fields should have an effective marketing strategy to recrut learners as a key component in the education system. Many marketing strategies are avaiable, part of it  is promotion. In the promotion there is a Word of mouth Marketing model. Researchers assumed that this promotion model was more effective and efficient when it gained the support of alumni roles as a school product that had strong ties with his almamater. The quality of the alumni is a reflection of the quality of the institution hence to influence the community in choosing a quality school. What differs from other research is the author elevating the important role of alumni in school marketing. The purpose of this research is to describe the important role of alumni for schools and the role of alumni in improving school marketing. Data was taken from literature, alumni interviews related to alumni and observation roles. The results of the study showed the strategic and potential of the alumni role should be recognized and utilized for school development. The role of alumni include: Develop extracurricular activities, build opinions on the quality of the school in the community, build networks outside of the school, become motivators and Inspirators for the sister of her class, become a companion of learning, supporting activities organized by the school, and the evaluation media for the school curriculum. The role of alumni in improving school marketing is very high. This is because the perception of schools developing in the community as consumers are influenced by the quality of alumni as a school product, the quality of alumni supports the promotion of schools in the community as well as information about schools obtained directly through alumni.
