Public relation is an important aspect within the process of building positive image for an organization. Selecting appropriate strategy, therefore, must be applied very carefully since it determines the success or failure of the organization in the long run. This paper, thus, aims at explaining the strategy of public relation applied by Cordova Integral Islamic Elementary School in Samarinda in building a positive brand image that suits its’ long-term objectives. Utilizing qualitative approach, this paper finds out that Cordova Integral Islamic Elementary School in Samarinda applies four strategy such as research-listening, planning-decision, communication-action, and evaluation.Keywords: Image brand, organizational strategy, and public relation.

This study entitled "Public Relations Of Bendahara Sector Police's Strategies In Creating A Positive Image In The Eyes Of The Public After The Death Of The Alleged Drug Abuse Perpetrator Case" with the aim of finding out the strategies carried out by the Bendahara Sector Police's Public Relations in creating a positive image in the public after the death of the alleged perpetrator of Narcotics abuse. This research is a descriptive study with a qualitative approach. The data collection technique in this study was done by using interviews with the head of Public Relations of the Bendahara Sector Police and the General Section Chief Public Relation of Bendahara Sector Police. The determination of informant was chosen using a purposive sampling technique. The results showed that there were seven PR strategies used by the Public Relations of the Bendahara Sector Police, namely visiting victims' families regularly, approaching community leaders, counseling in turns to villages, saweusikula (visiting schools) activities, approaching Aceh Tamiang news journalists, uploading activities documentation to social media, and providing donations and assistance to local communities in need. There were several obstacles for the Public Relations of the Bendahara SectorPolice in carrying out the strategies that had been designed, namely the lack of facilities and the lack of personnel in charge of the Public Relations sector or department.

This research is aimed at determining and explaining the effect of public relations marketing on the brand image and customers loyalty at Studio Alam TV9. This research is an explanatory research with quantitative approach. This research employed three variables of Public Relations Marketing, Brand Image, and Customers loyalty. The visitors of Studio Alam TV9 that have visited twice or more are the populations of this study. 110 visitors are the respondents of this research selected through purposive random sampling to which the questioners were distributed. The data were analyzed using path analysis. Based on that path analyzed the research showed that public relation marketing has direct and significant effect on Brand Image. And the brand Image has direct and significant effect on the customers loyalty.  Beside that it is found that public relation marketing has indirect but significant effect of the customers loyalty through brand image. It is suggested that TV9 maintain and improve the public relation marketing ti improve the brand image and make the customers loyalty.Keywords: Marketing Public Relation, Brand Image, Customer Loyalty

AbstrakKeberadaan devisi Hubungan Masyarakat (Humas) dalam  sebuah institusi pendidikan sangat memiliki peranan yang sangat penting. Dibeberapa perguruan tinggi devisi ini sangat vital karena menjadi corong bagi masyarakat luas dalam membina hubungan baik dengan para stakeholders. Begitu juga dengan Humas di Universitas Dian Nuswantoro yang telah melakukan berbagai program dalam rangka meningkatkan citra perguruan tinggi.  Penelitian ini berorientasi pada persepsi dan partisipasi sivitas akademika yang ada pada Humas Universitas Dian Nuswantoro Semarang untuk menciptakan citra positif. Target khusus penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana persepsi dan partisipasi sivitas akademika atas keberadaan Humas, sehingga dapat ditemukan hasil penelitian yang dapat menjadi rekomendasi untuk kemajuan humas dan institusi. Tujuan jangka panjang dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hasil signifikan dari temuan yang didapatkan sehingga bisa menjadi referensi atas program-program humas menjadi lebih baik.  Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode survey di lapangan, dan instrumen penelitian menggunakan daftar pertanyaan untuk wawancara.Kata kunci; persepsi, partisipasi, sivitas akademika, humas,citra positif                                                                     Abstract The existence of division of Public Relations (PR) in a highly educational institution has a very important role. In some universities this division is vital because a mouthpiece for the wider community in fostering good relations with stakeholders. So,  the PR at the University of Dian Nuswantoro who has conducted various programs in order to improve the image of the college. This research-oriented academicians of perception and participation that exist in PR Dian Nuswantoro University Semarang to create a positive image. Specific target of this research is to determine how perceptions and participation of academicians of the existence of PR, so that research results can be found that can be a recommendation for public relations and institutional advancement. The long term goal of this study was to determine the significant results of the findings obtained so that could be a reference to the public relations programs for the better. This study used a qualitative approach with a survey method in the field, and research instruments using a list of questions for the interview. Abstract: Public Relations Management as a Tool of Business Communication Ethics Islam. Public relations is as an intermediary between the head of the organization and its publics. In an effort to foster good community relations, internal and external. Public relations profession generally believed to be a facilitator, motivator, and even become agents of change. One definition says PR is a method of communication to create a positive image of the partner organization on the basis of respecting mutual interests. Management of public relations in the business of Islam, does not give a different sense, because basically the concept of PR is highly recommended in Islam. If the analogy meaning of public relations as a procedure for communicating the good, true and effective, then the concept of Islam has clearly explain to some verses in the Koran. The positive image is very important for the market activity of each healthcare institution. Shaping a positive image is also important for thermal treatment institutions, especially those wishing to increase the number of full-paid patients. The image of the thermal treatment institutions consists of many elements. Taking care of everyone, at least the most important of them, contributes to creating a positive image and, as a result, to maintaining or strengthening the market position. Nowadays, every thermal treatment institutions should plan and implement long-term public relations activities. The aim of the article is to present some of the important elements that influence the image of the thermal treatment institutions (sanatorium and hospital). Public relations in the operation of the thermal treatment institutions is an alternative to the statutory ban on advertising of medical activities.

Whilst the majority of family oriented SMEs are suffering from survival problems in the long term, some businesses perform successfully over generations. This article explores the emerging themes which are related to the business longevity of family oriented SMEs in Sri Lanka. Addressing a lack of knowledge in the area, our strategy of enquiry used a qualitative approach coupled with semi-structured interviews; 17 owner-managers of family‑oriented SMEs were interviewed and the results were subsequently transcribed for the analyses. The results indicated that the founders’ tacit knowledge of producing goods or services, consequently transferred to heirs in family oriented SMEs, drive the survival of businesses for longer periods in Sri Lanka.

  This study aims to determine the implementation of public relations in the therapy clinic ruqyah syar'iyyah DPW QHI Lampung. This study uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. In this study, the researchers obtained the results that the implications of public relations in the treatment clinic of ruqyah syar'iyyah DPW QHI Lampung consisted of publications, events or events, community service activities and media identity. ABSTRAK Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui implementasi public relation pada klinik terapi ruqyah syar’iyyah DPW QHI Lampung. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Dalam penelitian ini peneliti memperoleh hasil bahwa implikasi public relation pada klinik terapi ruqyah syar’iyyah DPW QHI Lampung terdiri dari publikasi, peristiwa atau acara, kegiatan pelayanan masyarakat dan media identitas.

Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penentuan masalah, perencanaan, pelaksanaan serta evaluasi yang dilakukan oleh praktisi humas Yayasan Pendidikan Al Ma’soem dalam mengelola website guna meningkatkan citra positif lembaga. Metode penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu menggunakan analisis deksriptif dengan pendekatan kualitiatif. Pengumpulan data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu dengan wawancara, dan observasi dengan tiga informan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa praktisi humas Yayasan Pendidikan Al Ma’soem dalam pengelolaan website guna meningkatkan citra positif lembaga menggunakan empat tahapan proses public relations yakni pertama dengan menentukan masalah melalui koran, berita online dan layanan pengaduan masyarakat. Kedua perencanaan, yang dilakukan yakni ketika ada kegiatan, dibuat berita, dimasukan ke website yang diharapkan sampai kepada masyarakat. Ketiga pelaksanaan, dibagi menjadi tiga admin, yaitu admin informasi, admin pemberitaan dan admin informasi tekhnologi (IT). Keempat, evaluasi, yakni menilai keberhasilan program dari grafik, pusat informasi dan total pengunjung. Kata Kunci : Pengelolaan; Website; Citra This paper aims to determine the problem determination, planning, implementation and evaluation of Al Ma’soem Education Foundation's public relations practitioners in managing websites to improve the positive image of the institution. The research method used in this study is using descriptive analysis with a qualitative approach. Data collection used in this study is by interview, and observation with three informants. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the Al Ma’soem Education Foundation public relations practitioner in managing websites to enhance the positive image of the institution uses the four stages of the public relations process namely first by determining the problem through newspapers, online news and public complaints services. Both planning, which is carried out when there are activities, made news, entered into the website that is expected to reach the community. The third implementation, divided into three admins, namely information admin, admin reporting and information technology admin (IT). Fourth, namely assessing the success of the program from the graph, information center and total visitors. Keywords: Management; Website; Image

An educational institution should try to create an positive image in the heart of the people, so that people are able to make the decision to enroll their children and participate actively in the institution development. Positive image can be realized by developing quality and organizing some productive activities that have public relation with clear vision and mision. This paper offers an alternative for implementation and development of the vision and mision of public relation based on customer satisfaction in order to realize institution positive image. Customer satisfaction can be realized by the commitment in understanding the customer expectation, so education institution need to identify “the needs and pretentions” of customer expectations. Some things need to be done in improving customer satisfaction related to the development of the vision and mission of public relations, namely: Compiling identification program of costumer expectation, measuring customer satisfaction consistently, designing services based on costumer expectations, communicating effectively, building proactive, friendly, anthusiastic and trust of personal profile, building anorganizational structure that accommodates customer service, and developing participative management.

PT Multi Bintang Indonesia is a beverages production company, and one of its products are Green Sands. In early 2002, Green Sands revitalize to Green Sands Alcohol-Free and communicated through several promotional tools, including advertising and public relations. This study examines what brand image embedded on the consumers, and what is the level of influence of advertising and public relations toward the creation of brand image of products Green Sands Alcohol-Free. The research methods used in this study is test Cochran, multiple regression, and cobwebs. The result, brand image that is embedded in consumer brand is cool and trendy and unique and refreshing taste. Advertising and public relations by creating a brand image is only 7.2%, the rest from other factors. Brand image is embedded in the customers had not yet reached the desired scale of the company.
