Relevance. The conflict, which has become especially acute in recent years, associated with the growing contradictions between regional demographic problems and the objective needs for population reproduction, actualizes the problem of identifying and analyzing demographic events affecting the population, which is extremely important in the light of the strategic directions of the Transbaikal Territory development. The object of the study is the current demographic situation of the Transbaikal Territory, the subject is the dynamics and orientation of the main indicators characterizing the demographic situation. The purpose of the study is to identify and assess the dynamics and direction of the main indicators characterizing the demographic situation of the Transbaikal Territory. The task is to determine the direction of changes in the main demographic indicators for the period 2018-2020, characterizing the demographic situation of the Transbaikal Territory. The methodological basis of the research is a systematic approach as a set of general scientific methodological principles, which are based on the consideration of objects as a system, as well as a structural and functional approach based on the allocation of their structure in integral systems. The solution of the problem was carried out on the basis of the use of general logical methods: analysis, synthesis, induction, deduction. Results. Based on a comparative analysis of the period 2018-2020 and partially 2021 with the use statistical data, the trend of a significant natural decline in the population of the Transbaikal Territory, associated with childbirth due to the annual loss of women of the main reproductive cohorts, was revealed; a sharp increase in the marriage/divorce ratio to 88.1% is significantly lower than the maximum critical value (2.15) of the total fertility rate adopted in world practice to assess the sustainability of population reproduction. The forecast for 2021 of the natural decline of the population of the Transbaikal Territory is given, mainly more than 3 thousand people. The epidemic contribution to the mortality of the population in 2020 is estimated and the first half of 2021. It is shown that migration for the population of the Transbaikal Territory is unprofitable, an alarming fact is the decline of the working – age population-about 10 thousand people in three years. It is established that foreign labour migration does not have any noticeable quantitative impact on the population of the Transbaikal Territory and only simplifies its qualitative structure, strengthening the component, primarily focused on low-productivity physical labour

Its demographic features are an acute problem for Ukraine today. Ukraine today is characterized by an aging population, demographic crisis, and a difficult demographic situation. In general, Ukraine is characterized by declining birth rates, rising mortality, a significant burden on the working-age population, an increase in the percentage of retirees over children and adolescents, a rapid increase in migration (especially abroad highly qualified professionals of working age). At the same time, a number of western regions of the country are characterized by a positive situation around demographic indicators. As well as positive dynamics with a demographic component is typical for the capital and centers of economic development. At the same time, such cities have a number of negative social problems. The grouping of regions of Ukraine by means of methods of ranks, clustering, and construction of maps of Kohonen’s self-organization on the basis of demographic indicators is carried out: birth rate; mortality rate; part of children and adolescents, persons of working age, persons of retirement age in the age structure of the population; the average age of the population; the demographic burden on the working population. As a result of research using these methods, the regions of Ukraine are grouped by demographic characteristics into 5 groups: the group characterized by the most favorable demographic situation, namely, the highest birth rates, high proportion of children and adolescents, people of working age, and the lowest mortality rates, middle age and the burden on the working population, a low proportion of retirees; a group of regions with high demographic indicators, which have a positive impact on the demographic situation in the regions, and, accordingly, low indicators of negative impact on the demographic component; a group characterized by average demographic values and the impact of adverse features on the demographic situation in the regions; regions characterized by relatively high mortality rates, the burden on the working population, middle age, a significant percentage of retirees and low birth rates, a small percentage of children and adolescents, which in turn has a negative impact on the demographic situation in the regions; territories in which there is a catastrophically unfavorable demographic situation. According to the current demographic situation in the regions of the country, it is necessary to change the features of the demographic policy in the regions of the country.

The purpose of the study, the results of which are presented in the article, is to analyze the demographic situation in the regions of the Russian Arctic in the light of the implementation of the pension reform. Among the tasks of the survey is the analysis of the settlement system and the dynamics of demographic processes, including the assessment of the relationship between changes in the retirement age and life expectancy of the population. The study was conducted on the basis of analytical materials, publications of specialized electronic publications on the subject under study, official data of Rosstat. It is determined that the arguments in favor of modern pension reform (increasing life expectancy and aging of the population) for the regions of the Russian Arctic are not decisive due to the short duration of healthy life, high mortality of the male working-age population, and low living standards of pensioners.

The article assesses the dynamics of the main demographic indicators of the Tula region: birth rate, mortality, natural increase and decrease for 2000–2018, presents the age pyramid of the population, estimates the coefficient of demographic load, and analyzes the main reasons for the increase in the burden on the working-age population. It is established that the demographic situation in the Tula region, as in most other regions of Russia, remains quite tense, and is characterized by complex processes in the development of the population, which is associated with high mortality and low fertility. Methods of analysis, synthesis, deduction and induction, methods of graphical analysis were used in the preparation of the article. The methodological basis was the data of the Federal state statistics service and normative documents. The authors based on the analysis of the main normative documents regulating the activities of the authorities and management in the field of demographic situation management at the municipal level, and statistical data, justified the need to introduce measures to improve the demographic situation in the Tula region, the introduction of additional mechanisms to encourage families to give birth to children by increasing guaranteed social benefits to families.

Compared to its past structure, Turkey is now a country with low levels of fertility and mortality. This junction that Turkey now has reached is associated with a number of risks, such as an ageing population, and a decreasing working-age population. The antinatalist policy era of Turkey was followed by a period of maintenance, yet the recent demographic changes formed the basis of a pronatalist population policy from the government’s view. This study discusses the link between demographic change and population policies in Turkey. It further aims to position Turkey spatially in relation to selected countries that are in various stages of their demographic transitions with different population policies, using a multidimensional scaling approach with data on 25 selected countries from the UN. The analysis is based on a 34-year period, 1975-2009, so as to better demonstrate Turkey’s international position on a social map, past and present. Our findings suggest that Turkey’s position on the social map shifted towards developed countries over time in terms of demographic indicators and population policies.

These methods are used to determine the essence of bank marketing, present the types and organization of marketing research, and identify the characteristic traits, new forms, and directions for the development of bank marketing.Results. The study uses general scientific methods of cognition in various aspects to identify characteristic traits, trends, and new directions of bank marketing. The authors believe that the issues of organization of a comprehensive bank management system, its implementation based on innovations in the promotion of banking products and services in the financial market, and substantiation of channels for their distribution among consumers are insufficiently explored. This makes the subject of this study extremely relevant due to the inevitable optimization of the organizational structure of banks through comprehensive implementation of the marketing system.Conclusions. Theoretical and practical issues of bank marketing are examined. As a result, the specific features and characteristic traits of this mechanism, conditions and factors for its emergence, and its prospects in the context of the digital economy are analyzed.

AbstractIn the last two decades we have been witnessing the decrease of population in many countries of the Danube Region. All demographic indicators are unfavourable. Current demographic situation and labour market in the countries of the Danube Region is presented. The purpose of this paper is to evaluate the effects of demographic decline in the countries of the Danube Region on the key labour market variables and to model their behaviour. Also, the purpose of this paper is to analyse and discuss the possible consequences of demographic decline and the roles of migration and brain drain in the region. The main conclusion is that drop in the population growth is compensated with migration flows and prolongation of working life when it comes to the active labour force in the Danube Region, although population is still a main source of working force.
