This article investigates the suitable media to develop students’ vocabulary in elementary level is audio visual media especially cartoon film media, the problems of the study are: (1) How is the students’ score before using cartoon film media? (2) How is the students’ score after using cartoon film media? (3) How is the effectiveness of using cartoon film media on the students’ vocabulary mastery? This research conducts experimental design; the research design used by the researcher is pre-experimental design in the form of one–group pre–test and post– test. The instruments were used are pre–test, treatment, and the post–test. The analysis technique of data analysis used t–test statistical analysis. The use of cartoon film media will be significant if t<sub> count </sub>&gt; t <sub>table. </sub>Data analysis shows that t <sub>count </sub>&gt; t <sub>table </sub>(5,20 &gt; 1,71), so H<sub>0</sub> is rejected or Ha is accepted. Based on the research finding, the researchers conclude that (1) the students’ mastery on vocabulary before taught by using cartoon film media can be seen from the result of pre – test, there are 15 students get excellent result, there are 2 students get good result , there are 4 students get enough result , there are 3 students get less result and 1 student get low result . It means that there are 32% students who get low score. (2) The students’ mastery on vocabulary after taught by using cartoon film media can be seen from the result of post – test, there are 19 students get excellent result , there are 5 students get good result and there is 1 student get enough result . (3) The significant different, between students’ mastery on vocabulary before and after taught by using cartoon film media can be seen from the result of pre – test, it showed that 15 students who get score 80 – 100 where as the result of post – test showed that 19 students who get score 80 – 100. It means that the result of this research showed that t <sub>count</sub> &gt; t <sub>table </sub>(5,20 &gt; 1,71). It indicates that cartoon film is suitable to teach vocabulary. So from the result the researchers suggest to the English teacher that cartoon film is effective to teach vocabulary for young learners

The objective of this research is to find out whether there is any significant difference of students in Listening skill between before and after being taught by using the Video. The research is conducted at SMP Muhammadiyah 4 Gempol Pasuruan. Sample of this study is students in 7th grade class A. The method that is used in this research is quantitative method with pre-experimental design Pretest and postest. To get the data, the researcher gave pre-test, treatment and post-test to the students. The researcher using Video in Teaching Listening. Based on the result of this research, the shows that ,there is significant difference of students test in Teaching Listening class before and after students are given video in litening class. The data obtained are then analyzed using the t-test and obtained with a significant level of 5%, it is known that tcount = 16.56 is greater than t table = 2.06. Thus, it shows that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted and by using the Eta Squared formula. The results of the calculation obtained a value of 0.91.

Language is the ability to communicate with other people. One of the language skills that can be developed first is speaking skill. Speaking skills need to be optimized because they can affect the next child's life. There are various kinds of problems related to speaking skills including some children who have not been able to communicate the ideas in their minds, express their opinions, and have not dared to speak. In addition, the teaching methods used by teachers have an influence on children's interest in expressing their opinions. This study aims to determine the effect of the conversing method on the speaking skills of children aged 4-5 years. The quantitative approach was carried out using an experimental method of pre-experimental design, one group pretest, and post-test design. Subjects in this study as many as 17 children, data collection techniques using the method of observation and documentation. Furthermore, the data analysis technique used the Wilcoxon Matched Pairs Test formula. The results showed that the method of speaking had an effect on children's speaking skills.

Abstract: Pre-menopause period is a natural thing for women and cannot be ignored or avoid but some women still haven’t learned about it, including changes in Physiology as well as psychic will happen after menopause. This research aimed to know the influence of health education on woman’s attitude towards time of pre-menopause. The research method used pre- experiments with design pre-test and post-test one group design. The sample in this research was 31 mothers aged 40-50 years in Polindes desa Pasirharjo kecamatan Talun kabupaten Blitar, which was determined by sampling total sampling technique. Treat- ment in the form of the granting of health education by lecturing methods lectures. The measurement of the attitude was done before and after the treatment. The instrument used a questionnaire. The data analysis technique used paired sample t-test. The mean value of the results of the study showed the average pre-test of the attitude of average value and 22,8 and flat post-test attitude 24,1. The data analysis showed the value of attitude p score value where p was 0.000 where p  0.046 so Ho was declined. The conclusion of the research was there was an effect of health and education towards women’s attitudes about the pre-menopause in Polindes Desa Pasirharjo Kecamatan Talun Kabupaten Blitar. Based on the results of such research, it is suggested to women who experienced a period of pre menopause, can accept changes to physical and sexual abuse that happened to him at that time with the thought that menopause is a reasonable and positive holds events. Keywords: health education, attitude, pre menopause

AbstrakTujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui: (1) kemampuan operasi hitung bilangan bulat peserta didik kelas VI sebelum menggunakan media pembelajaran manik-manik warna, (2) kemampuan operasi hitung bilangan bulat peserta didik kelas VI setelah menggunakan media pembelajaran manik-manik warna, dan (3) perbedaan kemampuan operasi hitung bilangan bulat pada peserta didik kelas VI SD Negeri 151 Timbula Kec. Bontotiro Kab. Bulukumba sebelum dan setelah menggunakan media pembelajaran manik-manik warna. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian experimen dengan pre-experimental design. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan sampel jenuh. Sampel dalam penelitian ini yaitu seluruh peserta didik kelas VI SD Negeri 151 Timbula Kec. Bonto Tiro Kab. Bulukumba yang berjumlah 23 orang. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah tes dan dokumentasi. Data yang terkumpul diolah dengan menggunakan analisis statistik deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) rata-rata nilai kemampuan operasi hitung bilangan bulat peserta didik sebelum diajar menggunakan media pembelajaran manik- manik warna sebesar 29.57, (2) nilai rata-rata setelah diajar menggunakan media manik-manik warna sebesar 77,83, dan (3) terdapat perbedaan kemampuan operasi hitung bilangan bulat pada peserta didik sebelum dan setelah diajar menggunakan media pembelajaran manik-manik warna. Berdasarkan penelitian ini, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan media pembelajaran manik-manik warna dapat meningkatkan kemampuan operasi hitung bilangan bulat.AbstractThe purpose of this study was to describe: (1) the ability to operate integer counting of class VI students before using color beads learning media, (2) the ability to operate integer counting of class VI students after using the color beads learning media, and (3) the difference in the operating ability of integer counting in class VI of SD 151 Timbula Kec. Bontotiro Kab. Bulukumba before and after using color beads media. The method used was experimental research with a pre-experimental design. The sample was selected using the saturated technique. The sample of this study was all students of class VI of SD 151Timbula Kec. Bonto Tiro Kab. Bulukumba with a total number of 23 students. The instruments used were tests and documentation. The data analysis technique used was descriptive statistics. The results showed that: (1) the average value of the integer count operation ability of students before being taught using the color beads learning media was 29.57, (2) the average value after being taught using color beads media was 77.83, and (3) there were differences in the ability to operate integer count operations of students before and after being taught using color. From this study, it could be concluded that the use of color beads learning media could improve the ability of integer arithmetic operations.

This research is motivated by the school environment that develops the ability to recognize the numbers and the symbol of the number of children is still centered on the teacher, so the ability of the child is still not developed. Therefore, to develop the ability to recognize numbers and symbols of numbers need to be done in the right way, that is by using the role playing method of buying and selling. The purpose of this study to determine the ability to recognize the number and symbol of the number of children before and after the applied method of selling role play.This research uses pre-experimental design design with one-group pretest-posttest design. The subjects of this study were 18 children. Data analysis applied in this research is different test technique of pre-test and post-test (t test) from activity observation of children to know the ability to recognize numbers and symbol of number through play role of buying and selling. The result of data analysis shows the value of  21,17 and 1,74 at α 0,05 and 2,57 at α 0,01, then  ˃  rejected and  accepted. Thus, it can be concluded that playing the role of buying and selling affects the ability to recognize numbers and symbols of numbers in of kindergartens children.

This research aims to determine the effectiveness of gakushuugoi module usage to improve Japanese vocabulary mastery for learners. The method used in this study is an experimental quantitative method, a pre-test and a post-test. The population of sample data in this study is the Japanese elementary level learners (Shokyuu A) of Bimbel AEC Semarang. To determine the effect of Gakushuugoi module usage in the use of Japanese vocabulary, the data analysis was carried out before and after the treatment. From the results of data analysis, it is known that the t count is 7.78 and the df is 9. It happens since the value of t table for df 9 is 2.26 at a significant level of 5% t table and 3.25 at a significant level of 1% t table. Thus, the value of the t count is greater than the t table. This shows that there are significant differences between the variables X (post-test) and variable Y (pre-test). Based on the analysis, it can be concluded that the use of effective gakushuugoi module can improve the mastery of Japanese vocabulary.

This study aims to: (1) find out the implementation of group guidance and social adjustment level of grade 1 students of SDN Kedondong 01, (2) know the effectiveness of group guidance with traditional games to improve students' social adjustment. This is a quantitative research using pre-test post-test one group design. The data analysis technique used is Wilcoxon's Signed Rank Test which belongs to non parametric statistic. Based on the significant level 5% and N = 8 data analysis showed difference of scores between before and after implementing group guidance with traditional games technique. The result of field test shows that the group guidance model with traditional learning technique is effective to improve social adjustment of grade I students of SDN Kedondong 01. This is indicated by the change of social adjustment level of students before and after the implementation. that is an increase of 19%. Therefore it could be suggested to the counselor in elementary school to improve the utilization of traditional games in the implementation of group guidance as such a legacy to the scientific development.

This research is to know is there is significant effect in reading comprehension achievement in X grade at SMK Walisongo 1 Gempol, being taught by suggestopedia method. This research uses quantitative research. The research’s object is X AK-2 of SMK Walisongo 1 Gempol has 28 students. The researcher divides the main activity into pre-test, treatment and post-test. Based on the SPSS 23 Program calculation from mean result of pre-test 70.1 and the result mean of post-test is 83.5. The students’ score is increasing after being given by the treatment. The result of the calculation of this research showed that (sig 2-tailed = 0.002) which is less from (<) 0.05 and significance 5%. It mean that the alternative hypothesis is accepted and the null hypothesis is rejected. From the result of the data analysis above, the use suggestopedia method gives significant effect in students’ reading comprehension achievement This article investigates major points of the speech verbs. On this case, different meaning of verbs was analyzed from Russian into English.  Therefore, analyses of the theory with methodology were described to make better diffusion. To conclude with both outcomes and shortcomings were outlined to get further analyses as the whole.

This article focused on the effectiveness of Number Head Together in teaching writing in the EFL Classroom. The aim of the study was to improve EFL students’ writing. This study was quantitative research and used an experimental design. The population was 30 students and the sample was 15 students. Purposive sampling was used in determining the sample of the study. The writing test was the instrument used to collect the data. The data were analyzed by using descriptive statistics and paired sample t-test to test the hypothesis. The students' instrument was an essay-informed descriptive text. Furthermore, the researchers used pre and post to compare scores before and after implied Number Head Together. The mean score of the pre-test was 49.06 at p = 1.364 and the post-test was 78.40 at p = 1.576 which was higher than 0.05 (as the standard significance level in SPSS). This value showed the differences before and after implementing Number Head Together. Hence, it can be concluded that Number Head Together was significantly effective in teaching writing in the tenth graders of Public Vocational High School (SMKN) 1 Janapria, Indonesia. The research is led by the problems on student’s skill in writing poetry in eight grade SMPN 3 Cipanas cianjur. Imaginative suggestion method with audio visual media does not only create comfortable atmosphere but also give suggestion that develop students amaginative skill. The research design used in this study is One Group Pre-test Post-test. The design is aimed to find out the result of the subject and to show how well the final results of each subject. Based on the results, it is shown that there is a significant difference of students’ ability of writing poetry before and after using Imaginative Suggestion method With Visual-Audio Media, it is proven by calculation with t-test obtained t arithmetic is 2.68 and t table price t 0,05 ie 2.04. it shows that t count (2.68)> t table (2.04). Then it can be concluded that the results of implementing Imaginative Suggestion method With Visual-Audio Media on Poetry Writing is effective.Keywords: imaginative suggestion method, audio-visual media, poetry writing
