According to Undang-Undang (UU) No. 25 of 1992, a cooperative is a business entity composed of individuals or cooperative legal entities. Its activities are based on the principle of cooperatives, and the peoples economic movement is based on the principle of kinship. In Indonesia, cooperatives have successfully become an organization occupying a special position in the structure of the national economy. The principle of kinship owned by cooperatives is a value adopted by the Indonesian people. In addition, as the formal sector in Indonesia, cooperatives are positively affected by their links with the informal sector this link helps the formal sector to solve financial, management and technical skills issues (Majundar and Borbora, 2014). The purpose of the study is to determine which variable is affecting brand preference of cooperative application. This could help cooperative application to improve and achieve more in the competitive market. The research method used in this study is non probability sampling on Surabaya and Jombang. The data processing analysis is using simple and multiple regression with SPSS 22.0 software. The results of this data processing will be conducted wih an in-depth discussion on the characteristic respondents such as gender both men and women, aged 18-60 years old, member of cooperative, have been shopping through mobile application for the last one year, and usually using internet in daily activities. The results of this study shows that there are four hypotheses which all of the hypotheses were accepted. The accepted hypotheses are brand familiarity has a positive effect on brand preference of extension brand with the coefficient regression is 0.233, brand evaluation has a positive effect on brand preference of extension brand with the coefficient regression is 0.702, brand offering has a positive effect on brand familiarity of extension brand with the coefficient regression is 0.881, and brand offering has a positive effect on brand evaluation of extension brand with the coefficient regression is 0.873.

This study aims to determine the effect of transparency in financial management of village funds and community empowerment on community welfare in Sidoharjo Village, Tepus District, Gunungkidul Regency. This research method uses quantitative descriptive methods and primary data using questionnaires. This study took a sample of residents who were divided into 11 hamlets in Sidoharjo Village, Tepus District, Gunung kidul Regency. The sampling technique is stratified random sampling. Data collection is done by distributing questionnaires directly to people’s homes, attending social gatherings and routine meetings held by community members. It aims to obtain more data from respondents directly. The number of questionnaires processed was 120 questionnaires. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that community empowerment has a positive effect on the welfare of the people of Sidoharjo Village, Tepus District, Gunungkidul Regency, while transparency in financial management of village funds does not affect the welfare of the community in Sidoharjo Village, Tepus District, Gunungkidul Regency.

To date, the management of high-strength wastewater represents a serious problem. This work aims to evaluate the performance on chemical pollutants and on sludge production of one of the two full-scale thermophilic membrane bioreactors (ThMBRs) currently operational in Italy, based on monitoring data of the last two and a half years. Removal yields on COD, N-NOx, non-ionic and anionic surfactants (TAS and MBAS), increased with the input load up to 81.9%, 97.6%, 94.7%, and 98.4%, respectively. In the period of stability, a very low value of sludge production (0.052 kgVS kgCOD−1) was observed. Oxygen uptake rate (OUR) tests allowed us to exclude the possibility that mesophilic biomass generally exhibited any acute inhibition following contact with the aqueous residues (ARs), except for substrates that presented high concentrations of perfluoro alkyl substances (PFAS), cyanides and chlorides. In one case, nitrifying activity was partially inhibited by high chlorides and PFAS concentration, while in another the substrate determined a positive effect, stimulating the phenomenon of nitrification. Nitrogen uptake rate (NUR) tests highlighted the feasibility of reusing the organic carbon contained in the substrate as a source in denitrification, obtaining a value comparable with that obtained using the reference solution with methanol. Therefore, respirometric tests proved to be a valid tool to assess the acute effect of AR of ThMBR on the activity of mesophilic biomass in the case of recirculation.

AbstractIn accordance with generally accepted accounting standards, most intangibles are not accounted for and not reflected in the traditional financial accounting. For this reason, most companies account intangible assets (IAs) as expenses. In the research, 57 sub-elements of IAs were applied, which are grouped into eight main elements of IAs. The classification of IAs consists in two parts of assets: accounting and non-accounting. This classification can be successfully applied in different branches of enterprises, to expand and supplement the theoretical and practical concepts of the company's financial management. The article proposes to evaluate not only the value of financial information for IAs (accounted) but also the value of non-financial information for IAs (non-accounted), thus revealing the true value of IAs that is available to the companies of Lithuania. It names a value of general IAs. The results of the research confirmed the IA valuation methodology, which allows companies to calculate the fair value of an IA. The obtained extended IAs valuation information may be valuable to both the owners of the company and investors, as this value plays an important practical role in assessing the impact of IAs on the market value of companies.

This study aims to examine the effect of work stress on employee turnover intention at PT Internusa Jaya Sejahtera Merauke, Papua. This study obtained data from questionnaires distributed to 117 employees of PT Internusa Jaya Sejahtera. The questionnaire used has 14 point statements and uses a 6 point Likert scale. The technique used in this research is descriptive analysis technique used to analyze the level of work stress and turnover intention level on employees. Simple linear regression analysis is also used to determine the effect between work stress variables and turnover intention variables. The results showed that work stress had a significant positive effect on turnover intention on employees of PT Internusa Jaya Sejahtera. The coefficient of determination in this study has a value of 0.571 which means that the level of job stress to turnover intention of 57.1%.Keywords : work stress, turnover intention, linear regression ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meneliti pengaruh stres kerja terhadap turnover intention pada karyawan di PT Internusa Jaya Sejahtera Merauke, Papua. Peneltian ini memperoleh data dari hasil penyebaran kuesioner kepada 117 karyawan PT Internusa Jaya Sejahtera. Kuesioner yang digunakan memiliki 14 butir pernyataan dan menggunakan skala Likert 6 poin. Teknik yang digunakan pada penelitian kali ini adalah teknik analisis deskriptif yang digunakan untuk menganalisis tingkat stres kerja dan tingkat turnover intention pada karyawan. Analisis regresi linier sederhana juga digunakan unntuk mengetahui pengaruh antara variabel stres kerja dan variabel turnover intention. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa stres kerja berpengaruh signifikan positif terhadap turnover intention pada karyawan PT Internusa Jaya Sejahtera. Koefisien determinasi pada penelitian ini memiliki nilai 0.571 yang memiliki arti bahwa tingkat stres kerja terhadap turnover intention sebesar 57,1%.Kata kunci : stres kerja, turnover intention, regresi linier.

Background: Phantom limb syndrome is defined as the perception of intense pain or other sensations that are secondary to a neural lesion in a limb that does not exist. It can be treated using pharmacological and surgical interventions. Most medications are prescribed to improve patients’ lives; however, the response rate is low. In this case report, we present a case of phantom limb syndrome in a 42-year-old female with a history of transradial amputation of the left thoracic limb due to an accidental compression one year before. The patient underwent placement of a deep brain stimulator at the ventral posteromedial nucleus (VPM) on the right side and removal secondary to loss of battery. The patient continued to have a burning pain throughout the limb with a sensation of still having the limb, which was subsequently diagnosed as phantom limb syndrome. After a thorough discussion with the patient, a right stereotactic centro-median thalamotomy was offered. An immediate response was reported with a reduction in pain severity on the visual analogue scale (VAS) from a value of 9–10 preoperative to a value of 2 postoperative, with no postoperative complications. Although phantom limb pain is one of the most difficult to treat conditions, centro-median thalamotomy may provide an effective stereotactic treatment procedure with adequate outcomes.

I test the performance of several simple one and two-factor mechanical GARP and value investment strategies against a value-weighted market portfolio for the period 1998-2006, focusing on the suitability of the strategies for individual investors. All of the GARP and value strategies produce substantially higher average returns than the market portfolio over the 97 rolling one-year holding periods included in the study. The strategies have a higher standard deviation of returns across the 97 start months, but are less likely than the market portfolio to experience negative returns over any three or five-year time period. Overall, the best performing strategies are EBIT to enterprise value and return on capital, EBIT to enterprise value alone, and earnings yield (the inverse of the P/E ratio). Adding a profitability factor to form a GARP strategy from a simple one-factor value strategy does not appear boost performance, though it does reduce risk in the EBIT to enterprise value and return on capital strategy. My results indicate that individual investors who are able to tolerate occasional underperformance should consider using a GARP or value strategy in at least a portion of the portion of their portfolio that is allocated to U.S. equities.

This study aims to understand accountability and improve financial management as well as partial and simultaneous motivation for teacher performance in SMAN 1 dan SMAN 68 Jakarta. The research approach is a quantitative and associative quantitative approach. Data obtained using a questionnaire. The population is 82 teachers of SMAN 1 and SMAN 68, Central Jakarta, using saturated sample techniques. Data analysis technique is statistical analysis of multiple linear regression. The results of the study, partially the accountability variable has a positive effect on teacher performance. Transparency variable does not significantly influence teacher performance. The motivation variable partially has a significant effect on performance. Simultaneously the accountability, transparency and motivation variables significantly influence teacher performance. The ability of accountability, transparency, and motivation to explain changes in teacher performance is 58.4%. Among the three variables that most dominant influence teacher performance is motivation, thus motivation is very helpful for teachers in improving their performance.

<div><p class="1eAbstract-text"><em>Leadership plays an important role in an organization, the leader is the main driving force in the organization so that all of the goals, vision and mission of the organization can be achieved, to achieve all that organizations need to pay attention to the efforts that the work motivation of employees are motivated to work more optimally and providing all resources to the organization. This study aims to determine the effect of leader behavior on the work motivation of employees of the Sub-Satker Bidang Hukum unit Polda Kaltim. The population in this study were all the staff of the Bidang Hukum unit Polda Kaltim, the sampling method used is the census and the sample size of 25 people. Examiners research hypotheses using PLS with the data processing program. These results indicated that: the positive effect of behavior leader on work motivation.</em></p><p class="1eAbstract-text">Kepemimpinan memegang peran pertama dalam suatu organisasi, pemimpin adalah motor penggerak utama dalam organisasi agar semua tujuan, visi dan misi organisasi bisa tercapai. Untuk mencapai semuanya itu organisasi perlu memperhatikan upaya motivasi kerja agar pegawai termotivasi untuk bekerja lebih optimal dan memberikan seluruh daya upayanya kepada organisasi, maka pegawai perlu didukung dengan memberikan perhatian kepada kebutuhan pegawai. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh perilaku pemimpin terhadap motivasi kerja pegawai Sub Satker Bidang Hukum Polda Kaltim. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah semua pegawai di lingkungan Sub Satker Bidang Hukum Polda Kaltim, metode penentuan sampel yang digunakan adalah metode sensus dan jumlah sampel 25 orang. Penguji hipotesis penelitian menggunakan PLS dengan program pengolah data. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: perilaku pemimpin berpengaruh positif terhadap motivasi kerja.</p></div>
