Since the outbreak of COVID-19, all countries have taken certain measures to restrain the spread of COVID-19. It is a complex and practical issue to study the measures and effects of the epidemic prevention and control. The spread of the epidemic in different countries has certain characteristics, and the prevention and control models and effects in different countries are also different. In this paper, the key factors affecting the prevention effect of COVID-19 were analyzed by integrating multiple data and using interdisciplinary methods of mathematics, statistics and information management science on the basis of public management, and the system model of influencing factors of COVID-19 was constructed.

With the outstanding biocompatibility of hydroxyapatite (HA) and biodegradation of poly(D,L)lactide(PDLLA), and the expected good bio-mechanical compatibility, nano-HA / PDLLA (n-HA/PDLLA)composite has been paid great interests in hard tissue repair. One of the key factors affecting the potential of the composite is the degradation of the composite. That is what the mechanism of degradation in the composite is and if the degradation of the materials would induce the crack of the composite or a porous structure facile for tissue ingrowth would be formed. In this study, an n-HA/ PDLLA composite containing about 40% n-HA (wt%) was prepared and the degradation of the composite in bony tissue of rabbits and tissue response were studied by implanting composite rods and control HA rods into the femora of 16 New Zealand rabbits. After definite intervals, the histological analysis was completed by light microscopy and the degradation behavior was observed by scanning electron microscopy. The results suggested that a nano-HA/PDLLA composite was obtained and the materials showed good biocompatibility and osteoconductivity. The substantial degradation of the composite occurred at 8 weeks in vivo. After a longer period of implantation, the further degradation of the composite led to the formation of interconnected microporous and macroporous structure in the materials that might facilitate the tissue ingrowth in the composite.

Cloud in the Indian government is still in the nascent stage; the rate of government cloud adoption (GCA) has not been that encouraging. The government organizations are complex, slow, rigidly structured, and research deficient. These organizations are the highest spenders on IT but are not placed at par when it comes to terms of cloud adoption. This empirical study has three objectives, which are identifying the key factors affecting GCA, finding out if these factors significantly affect the adoption, and examining the categorical moderating effect of organization types and adoption stages on GCA. This study posits government organization type (center, state, local bodies, and public sector organizations) and adoption stages (adopted, currently evaluating, and plans to adopt) as moderating variables. PLS-SEM has been deployed in this work for analysis and validation of the model. Nine factors found to have a significant positive influence on GCA are security, connectivity, migration, procurement, awareness, organizational administration, legal, trust, and control.

As financial risks are the key factors affecting the development of enterprises, enterprises should pay close attention to them in their daily management, and analyze and control the financial risks in real time, so as to lay foundation for the sustainable development of enterprises. This article mainly introduces the role of computer software in management of financial risks of enterprises. Through analyzing the problems existed, this article puts forward some corresponding solutions.</p>

The mechanisms of transmission of potato viruses from plants to aphid vectors and from aphids to uninfected plants are described, including the example of the green peach aphid (Myzus persicae, GPA). Factors affecting the spreading of tuber necrosis and its manifestation on plants infected with potato leafroll virus (PLRV) are discussed. Recommendations for PLRV and GPA control in the field are given.

In modern conditions of development, financial security is an integral part of the overall security of the region and is formed on the basis of the functioning of the financial system. The complication of relationships between key segments of international financial markets, as well as the limited ability to accurately predict future trends in the development of the global financial system, lead to a gradual increase in the risks that accompany the activities of economic entities, and an increase in the number and scale of internal and external threats that have a negative impact on the financial security of the state. This formulation of the issue requires generalization of approaches to determining the financial security of the region in order to further formalize this issue and determine the key factors affecting it. The article considers the types of financial security, as well as certain areas of ensuring the financial security of the region and their priority. In work the assessment of the level of socio-economic development of the region with a view to ensuring financial security on the basis of which offers the main activities and priority areas of implementation of the investment policy that will ensure financial security of the Republic of Crimea.

AbstractWestern blotting (WB) is one of the most widely used techniques to identify proteins as well as post translational modifications of proteins. The selection of electroblotted membrane is one of the key factors affecting the detection sensitivity of the protein which is transferred from gel to membrane in WB. The most common used membranes are polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) and nitrocellulose (NC) membranes. Which membrane of these two is more suitable for WB has not been reported so far. Here, by incubating proteins which were transferred to PVDF or NC membranes with a series of antibodies and different types of lectins, we investigated the relationship between the binding ability of these two membranes to proteins or glycoproteins and the molecular weight of the target protein. The antibody re-probed ability of the two membranes was also explored. Moreover, we verified the above results by directly incubating proteins having different molecular weights onto PVDF or NC membranes. Bound proteins were stained with direct blue-71, and the staining intensity was quantitated by scanning and densitometry.

Abstract This study has two main objectives: (i) to analyse the effect of travel characteristics on the spreading of disease, and (ii) to determine the effect of COVID-19 on travel behaviour at the individual level. First, the study analyses the effect of passenger volume and the proportions of different modes of travel on the spread of COVID-19 in the early stage. The developed spatial autoregressive model shows that total passenger volume and proportions of air and railway passenger volumes are positively associated with the cumulative confirmed cases. Second, a questionnaire is analysed to determine changes in travel behaviour after COVID-19. The results indicate that the number of total trips considerably decreased. Public transport usage decreased by 20.5%, while private car usage increased by 6.4%. Then the factors affecting the changes in travel behaviour are analysed by logit models. The findings reveal significant factors, including gender, occupation and travel restriction. It is expected that the findings from this study would be helpful for management and control of traffic during a pandemic.

Car ownership is one of the key factors affecting travel behaviour and thus also essential in terms of sustainable mobility. This study examines car ownership and how people’s willingness to own a car may change in the future, when considering the effects of public transport, Mobility as a Service (MaaS) and automated vehicles (AVs). Results of two citizen surveys conducted with representative samples (NAV-survey = 2036; NMaaS-survey = 1176) of Finns aged 18–64 are presented. The results show that 39% of respondents would not want or need to own a car if public transport connections were good enough, 58% if the described mobility service was available and 65% if all vehicles in traffic were automated. Hence, car ownership can decrease as a result of the implementation of AVs and MaaS, and higher public transport quality of service. Current mobility behaviour has a strong correlation to car ownership, as respondents who use public transport frequently feel less of a will or need to own a car than others. Generally, women and younger people feel less of a will or need to own a car, but factors such as educational level and residential location seem to have a relatively low effect.
