Islam is a gender-just religion so that in the dissemination of its values, gender-fair spaces and opportunities are also needed. The purpose of this study is to provide understanding and understanding to the reader that in realizing a gender-just environment, religion is an important slice that needs to be considered. Islam has agreed to create a gender-just order, and it has been stated in the verses of the Koran. This research method uses qualitative research, sourced from reading material and supported by implementation pictures as supporting data. The results showed that the presence of female clerics was very important. Islam has conveyed Islamic teachings by realizing gender justice so that resistance to patriarchal culture in Indonesia can be carried out with the presence of female ulama to understand that women also have human potential so that they can be said to be worthy as scholars. The limitation of this research is that the author is a little complicated in compiling the historical sequence of the presence of women ulama until their existence today. The lack of data sources that the author must obtain is still rare especially in research about Women Ulama as part of the struggle for gender equality.

AbstractPurpose of this study was to describe the meaning of ezer kenegdo and to know position and role of women in the family. The research method used is qualitative research methods (library research). The term of “ ezer kenegdo” refer to a helper but her position withoutsuperiority and inferiority. “The patner model” between men and women is uderstood in relation to one another as the same function, where differences are complementary and mutually beneficial in all walks of life and human endeavors.Keywords: Ezer Kenegdo; Women; Family.AbstrakTujuan penulisan artikel ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan pengertian ezer kenegdo dan mengetahui kedudukan dan peran perempuan dalam keluarga. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif library research. Ungkapan “ezer kenegdo” menunjuk pada seorang penolong namun kedudukannya adalah setara tanpa ada superioritas dan inferioritas. “Model kepatneran” antara laki-laki dan perempuan dipahami dengan hubungan satu dengan yang lain sebagai fungsi yang sama, yang mana perbedaan adalah saling melengkapi dan saling menguntungkan dalam semua lapisan kehidupan dan usaha manusia.Kata Kunci: Ezer Kenegdo, Prerempuan, Keluarga.

The study deals with Feminism in Veronica Roth’s Movie “Divergent” from three women character. The objective of the study were to find out the types of feminism and the roles of women in Divergent movie. The research method of this study used qualitative research, relying on the analysis and description of previous researcher and the studies of feminism. The data of this study were the utterances that can be found out from the script of divergent movie. The data of this research were analyzed by using Tong’s theory. The researcher found there are 3 types of feminism in three women character in Divergent movie, they are : 5 statements that are included in liberal feminism, 12 statements are included in radical feminism, and 3 statements are included in anarchist feminism. The role of women that can be found from three women character in Divergent movie was the role of women in domestic sector and the role of women in public sector. Keywords: Divergent Feminism, Movie

The role of women in Minangkabau plays a strategic place in fostering people, including in younger generation in "tahfiz’s house" activities. Problem that usually arises is the authority of women in doing activities outside, especially in the Nagari Tanjung Barulak. The women in Nagari Tanjung Barulak are not only active at home as Limpapeh Rumah Gadang who act as mothers for the children but also as "mothers" for children in Nagari. The research method used is a qualitative research method with a descriptive approach. The techniques of Data collection are interviews, observation and documentation. The result of research shows that women has vital roles in stir Tahfiz's house in Nagari Tanjuang Barulak, Batipuh District. It means there was no contradiction in fostering people in terms of religion. In terms of Minangkabau customs, the role of women also has its own place, and can play a role in two functions, namely the function as mother or Bundo Kanduang in the community and family as well as Bundo Kanduang in the midst of the people.

Timorese culture is patriarchal in that men are more dominant than women. As if women were not considered in traditional rituals so that an understanding was built that valued women lower than men. However, in contrast to the article to be studied, this would like to see the priority of women’s roles in traditional marriages in Belle village, South Central Timor. The role of women wiil be seen from giving awards to their parents called puah mnasi manu mnasi. This paper aims to look at the meaning of the rituals of puah mnasi maun mnasi and the role and strengths that women have in traditional marriage rituals in the village of Belle, South Central Timor. The method used for this research is a qualitative research method using interview techniques with a number of people in the Belle Villa community and literature study to strengthen this writing. Based on the data obtained this paper shows that the adat rituals of puah mnasi manu mnasi provide a value that can be learned, namely respect for women, togetherness between the two families, and brotherhood that is intertwined due to customary marital affrairs.

This research was designed to find out and analyze of the collaborative learning application in reading material at ninth grade of SMPN 7 Kinali Pasaman Barat. This research conducted due to several problems found in the field which were students make a fuss when working in groups, students do not listen to given the assignment by the teacher. It can be seen that there were students who work on group assignments that care and others were just busy talking with others. This research was done in order to answer the research question “What were the role of student and what were the role of teacher in collaborative learning at the ninth grade of SMPN 7 Kinali Pasaman Barat?” This research was a qualitative research using collaborative learning strategy. The purpose of this research was to find out and analyze the collaborative learning applicationin reading material at the ninth grade of SMPN 7 KinaliPasaman Barat by analyzing the teacher’s and students’ role in the collaborative learning. The researcher used interview and observation as the instrument of the research. The interview was directed to both students and teacher, which for the students contained 12 questions and for the teacher contained 7 questions. The researcher took 2 classes namely IX1 and IX2 as the observation object.                    Based on the finding from interview and observation of the collaborative learning in SMPN 7 Kinali Pasaman Barat, it was found that the teacher already fulfilled her role in the collaborative learning effectively, in the other hand the students still lack of the role as the cheer leader. They still laughed at their friends mistake. Besides that, the other roles that the students supposed to have were already done effectively. As the conclusion, the collaborative learning in SMPN 7 Kinali Pasaman Barat was good since the students and the teacher were doing their role effectively

SOLO Taxonomy is one of the frameworks used in analyzing the quality of responses in problem solving. This research aim to analyze the student’s responses level in doing problem solving item based on SOLO Taxonomy overviewed from motivation to learn. The research method used in this study was a qualitative research with the data sources of this study were 75 students period 2016/2017. The results of the study showed that student’s responses in doing problem solving wave concept at prestructural level is 62,17%, Unistructural Level is 27,63%, Multistructural level is 58,22%, Relasional level is 48,50%, and Extended Abstract level is 37,82%; Motivation to learn’s student high category are better at responding to answer item based SOLO Taxonomy than motivation to learn’s students low category.Keywords: Student’s reponses; SOLO Taxonomy; Motivation to Learn

This research was going to described the role of Banyumas Democracy Volunteer ( Relawan Demokrasi Banyumas) in increasing political public partitipation in Banyumas’s legislative election 2014 and its implication to Banyumas’s political resilience. This research used qualitative research design as a research method. Data were collected by in depth review, observation and documentation. This research used purpossive sampling technique with stakeholder sampling variant to pick informants. The research showed that Banyumas Democracy Volunteer had a positive role in developing political resilience in Banyumas. Their role was gave political education and election education to voters in Banyumas. Film berjudul Siti yang disutradarai oleh Eddie Cahyono berhasil memenangkan ajang Festival Film Indonesia pada 2015. Film yang ditayangkan terbatas ini berkisah mengenai peran seorang ibu, istri, sekaligus pencari nafkah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan representasi perempuan dalam film Siti. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode semiotika Roland Barthes. Dari film ini, setidaknya ada tiga hal yang bisa dikemukakan sebagai penekanan. Pertama, film ini tidak keluar dari sosok Siti (sosok perempuan yang lemah, tabah, dan kuat). Kedua, unsur lokalitas tetap dibangun tanpa dipermainkan. Ketiga, sajian sinematik yang minimalis dan sederhana menjadikan setiap pesan dalam film ini bisa tersampaikan dengan baik. Sekalipun film ini hadir dalam ruang kontradiktif satu sama lain, karena mengangkat dan menggambarkan sosok perempuan Jawa yang hidup dalam kesumukan budaya patriarkal, bukan berarti film ini membawa/menyuarakan paradigma feminis atau keadilan/ketidakadilan gender.Kata Kunci: Siti, perempuan Jawa, patriarkal, film The film titled Siti, directed by Eddie Cahyono, won Indonesian Film Festival in 2015. The limited screened film revolves around the role of a mother, wife, and breadwinner. This study aims to describe the representation of women in the film Siti. This study uses a qualitative approach with Roland Barthes's semiotic method. From this film, there are at least three things that can be put forward as emphasis. First, this film did not come out of the figure of Siti (a weak, steadfast and strong woman). Second, the element of locality is still built without being mocked. Third, a minimalist and simple cinematic presentation makes every message in this film well conveyed. Even this film is present in contradictory space with one another because raising and describing Javanese women who live in the patriarchal culture, it does not mean that this film brings out the feminist paradigm or gender justice/injustice.Keywords: Siti, Javanese women, patriarchy, film
