Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan bahan ajar IPA yang terintegrasi nilai Islam, mengetahui kelayakan dan keefektifan bahan ajar yang dikembangkan untuk meningkatkan sikap dan prestasi belajar IPA. Sikap terdiri dari sikap religi dan sikap positif terhadap IPA. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Research and Development (R&D) yang dikembangkan oleh Borg & Gall. Teknik analisis data menggunakan gain score, independent t test, dan uji MANOVA. Bahan ajar dalam bentuk buku siswa MTs dan buku guru MTs. Penilaian produk buku siswa MTs  menurut ahli materi dan ahli media berkategori “sangat baik”. Buku guru MTs menurut ahli materi berkategori “baik” dan menurut ahli media berkategori “sangat baik”. Pembelajaran dengan menggunakan buku siswa MTs menunjukkan sikap religi meningkat tinggi (rerata gain score adalah 0,70), sikap positif terhadap IPA meningkat sedang (rerata gain score adalah 0,57), dan prestasi belajar IPA meningkat sedang (rerata gain score adalah 0,55).Kata Kunci: bahan ajar, buku siswa MTs, buku guru MTs, sikap, prestasi belajar Developing of Instructional Materials for Science Integrated with Islamic Values for Increasing Attitudes and Science Learning Achievement AbstractThe aims of the research was to develop instructional materials for science integrated with Islamic values, to determine the appropriateness and the effectiveness of the developed product  for increasing attitudes and science learning achievement. Attitudes is consist of religious attitudes and positive attitudes toward science. This research is Research and Development (R & D) using Borg & Gall model. Data analysis techniques using gain score, independent t-test, and MANOVA test. Instructional materials in the form of MTs student books and MTs teacher books. Product assessment of the MTs student books according to matter experts and media experts are categorized “very well”. The MTs teacher books according to matter experts are categorized “good”, and according to media experts is categorized “very well”. Learning to use student books showed that religious attitudes have risen high (the mean gain score is 0.70), positive attitudes towards science have risen middle (the mean gain score is 0.57), and science learning achievement have risen middle (the mean gain score is 0.55).Keywords: instructional material, MTs student books, MTs teacher books, attitudes, science learning achievement

This research aimed at developing Instructional materials for the second semester students in economy faculty of Panji Sakti University. This research was a Research and Development (R & D) study. The type of the research was 4D model The steps of this study were: (1)Define,(2) Design, (3)Develop, and (3)Disseminate. In the “Define” step, There were two questionnaires employed in the research: (1) needs analysis questionnaire (2) expert judgment questionnaire. The needs analysis questionnaire was distributed to the students to identify the target needs and the learning needs of the students. The expert judgment questionnaire was used to evaluate the material. The data from the needs analysis questionnaire were analyzed using frequency and percentage and the results were then used as the basis to design and develop the materials, while the data from the expert judgment questionnaire were analyzed using descriptive statistics. Based on the findings from the materials evaluation, the content, the language, the presentation, and the layout of the materials are appropriate. The mean score of all aspects of the developed materials was 4.18. This indicates that the developed material is categorized as excellence material.

This study aims to determine the effect of the use of media the influence of the science learning media on a scientific approach to scientific literacy skills and self-efficacy of students on human respirator material. This study uses an experimental method, the sample consists of 2 classes, cognitive learning achievement data using tests, affective aspects of learning achievement using a questionnaire, hypothesis testing using the right-hand t-test. The data analysis technique used is the n-gain test and independent sample t-test using SPSS version 16.0. The results showed that students who were taught using science learning media on a scientific approach had a good effect on scientific literacy and self efficacy better than students who were taught the lecture method. Students with high scientific literacy ability produce better average performance than students with low scientific literacy ability, and there is an increase in the self efficacy of students learning by using learning media

The learning have been tended to put more emphasis on knowledge transfer. One of the efforts in improving students' knowledge about the concepts of ecosystem and relation to students’ environmental behavior is integrating Geography and environmental education developing instructional packages based on ecosystem for teachers of Geography. This study aims to develop an instructional packages geography based on ecosystem (PIGeoEk) in improving students' knowledge of the concepts of the ecosystem and related to students’ environmental behavior. A research and development (R & D) based on Borg and Gall (2007), refering to the Dick and Carey design (2009), steps has been applied by involving 80 students of grade XI majoring in social sciences of SMAN 5 Depok for treatment, and grade XI majoring in social sciences of SMAN 3 Depok as a control group. There are four instructional packages geography based on ecosystem (PIGeoEk) have been developed and instrument test used for measuring knowledge about the concepts of ecosystem and relation to students’ environmental behavior. The are four t-test have been applied to verify the effectiveness of Instructional Pakages. Research results indicate that there is a significant difference between mean of gain score obtained from post and pre test at treatment group compare to control group. Therefore, the instructional packages geography based on ecosystem (PIGeoEk) could be implemented in enhancing students' knowledge about the concepts of the ecosystem in relation to students’ environmental behavior effectively.

Introduction: One of the ways to promote safety in the workplace is creating the safety culture. To this end, safety culture has been studied and promoted with the help of 4E technique in Esfarayen steel industry. Methods: This is a descriptive-analytical and interventional study that evaluated safety culture using the HSE standard questionnaire and then promoted the safety culture with the help of 4 E technique. The results were then studied and compared using the statistical statistics by SPSS16 and Excel2010 software. Results: The mean score of safety culture was 326 ± 10.17 before and 395 ± 15.8 after the intervention. Pair t-test showed that the interventions were effective in improving the safety culture (p = 0/001). The findings showed that 4E technique is one of the effective factors in improving the safety culture. Conclusion: The findings showed that the educational issue of technical and participatory interventions is among the main and important pillars in promoting the safety culture. As a result, the participants’ knowledge, skills, and positive attitudes to safety and safety issues of the organization increased.

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) mengetahui keefektifan pembelajaran IPA menggunakan metode eksperimen ditinjau dari keterampilan proses dan hasil belajar IPA, dan (2) mengetahui perbedaan keefektifan antara pembelajaran IPA menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan demonstrasi ditinjau dari keterampilan proses dan hasil belajar IPA. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen semu. Populasinya adalah siswa kelas VIII SMP Diponegoro Depok Sleman pada tahun ajaran 2013/2014. Sampelnya adalah satu kelompok eksperimen yang proses pembelajarannya menggunakan metode eksperimen dan satu kelompok kontrol yang proses pembelajarannya menggunakan metode demonstrasi. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan pretest dan posttest untuk hasil belajar sedangkan untuk keterampilan proses diambil dari data kemampuan awal dan kemampuan akhir yang merupakan hasil observasi pada LKS. Untuk mengetahui efektif tidaknya metode eksperimen dilakukan uji one sample t-test. Kemudian untuk mengetahui perbedaan keefektifan metode eksperimen dan demonstrasi dilakukan uji multivariat dengan uji T2 Hotelling dan dilanjutkan analisis univariat dengan uji independent sample t test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) pembelajaran IPA menggunakan metode eksperimen efektif ditinjau dari keterampilan proses dan hasil belajar IPA, dan (2) pembelajaran IPA menggunakan metode eksperimen lebih efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan proses dan hasil belajar IPA dibandingkan dengan metode demonstrasi.Kata kunci: Keefektifan, metode eksperimen, keterampilan proses, hasil belajar IPA. THE EFFECTIVENESS OF EXPERIMENT METHOD ON PROCESS SKILLS AND THE SCIENCE LEARNING ACHIEVEMENT OF GRADE VIII STUDENTS IN SMPAbstractThis study aimed to (1) find out the effectiveness of science teaching-learning using experiment method on the process skills and science learning achievement, and (2) find out the difference of effectiveness between science teaching-learning using experiment method with demonstration method on process skills and science learning achievement. This research was a quasi experiment research. The population of the research was all of students of SMP Diponegoro Depok Sleman grade VIII in the academic year of 2013/2014. The sample consisted of the experiment group that the teaching-learning process used experiment method and the control group that the teaching-learning process used demonstration method. A pretest and posttest were used to collect the data of the learning achievement, while the process skill was taken from the prior ability and the final ability which were the result of observation on the LKS (Students Worksheet). To obtain the effectiveness of the experiment method on each variable, the data were analyzed with one sample t-test. Then, to find the difference between the effectiveness of the experiment and demonstration method on all variables used multivariate technique with T2 Hotelling and followed by univariate analysis with independent sample t test. The results of the research showed that (1) the teaching-learning process of science using the experiment method was effective in terms of process skills and science learning achievement of the students, and (2) the teaching-learning process of science using experiment method was more effective in improving the process skills and science learning achievement than that using the demonstration method. <p class="PRIMAJUDULArtikelEnglish">Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan media film animasi terhadap keterampilan menulis karangan narasi siswa kelas V SD. Jenis penelitian ini adalah <em>quasi experiment </em>dengan desain <em>pretest-posttest control group desain.</em> Hasil penilaian menunjukkan kelompok kontrol memperoleh rata-rata skor pretes 27,92 dan postes 29,51, kelompok eksperimen I memperoleh rata-rata skor pretes 27,95 dan postes 31,73, sedangkan kelompok eksperimen II memperoleh rata-rata skor pretes 27,75 dan postes 31,33. Peningkatan rata-rata skor yang diperoleh kelompok kontrol sebesar 1,59. Peningkatan rata-rata skor kelompok eksperimen I sebesar 3,78 dan peningkatan rata-rata skor kelompok eksperimen II sebesar 3,58. Hasil uji t kelompok kontrol dan kelompok eksperimen I diketahui nilai signifikansi 0,000 &lt; 0,05. Hasil uji t kelompok kontrol dan kelompok eksperimen II menunjukkan nilai signifikansi 0,000 &lt; 0,05. Hasil <em>Anova </em>menunjukkan nilai signifikansi 0,000 &lt; 0,05. This study was a quasi-experimental employing the pretest-posttest control group design. The results of the study show the control group attained a pretest mean score of 27.92 and a posttest mean score of 29.51; experimental group I attained a pretest mean score of 27.95 and a posttest mean score of 37.73 while experimental group II attained a pretest score of 27.75 and a posttest mean score 31.33. The mean gain score attained by the control group was 1.59. The mean gain score attained by experimental group I was 3.78, and that by experimental group II was 3.58. The results of the t-test for the control group and experimental group I showed a significance value of 0.000 &lt; 0.05. The results of the t-test for the control group and experimental group II show a significance value of 0.000 &lt; 0.05. The result of ANOVA shows a significance value of 0.000 &lt; 0.05. Based on the data, it can be concluded that there are effects of the use of animation film media on the narrative text writing skill of Grade V students of ESs.</p> <strong>Keywords: </strong>animation film media, text writing skill<br />

This study was a research and development type. The media developed was a lectora inspire-based interactive learning media in general administration subject. The procedure of research and development employed nine out of ten steps of Borg & Gall’s research and development (1989). Data analysis was carried out using descriptive qualitative and quantitative analyses with t-test. Considering the result of analysis on the effectiveness of lectora inspire-based interactive learning media with t-test formula, it could be found that t-statistic value obtained in posttest of experiment and control class was 5.747, with ttable of 2.000172; thus tstatitic > ttable meaning that the improvement of learning outcome in experiment class was better than that in control class. The learning outcome of experiment class showed the mean post-test of 84.53, while that of control class showed the mean posttest of 71.73. The conclusion of research was that Lectora Inspire-based interactive learning media was feasible and was used effectively to improve the students’ learning outcome. It was based on the result of t-test suggesting the significance value (0.000<0.05), indicating that there is a difference of learning outcome between experiment class and control class

AbstractThis study was aimed at determining the effectiveness of the use of science literacy teaching materials on improving science learning achievement of fourth grade elementary school students. The method used was research and development. The quasi-experimental with simple random sampling was used to select the sampling. In the implementation of the test, two sample groups were used, namely the experimental group and the control group. The testing phase of this product was carried out in two elementary schools in Gunungpati sub-district with a sample of 56 students of grade IV elementary school in the 2017/2018 school year. They consisted of 30 students of elementary school A and 26 students of elementary school B. The data were collected using tests. The results show that science-based science literacy teaching materials were effective in improving student learning achievement with the t-test calculation of 0.031. The results of the t test prove the difference between pretest and posttest values in the control and experimental groups. It can be concluded that the use of science teaching materials based on science literacy is effective to improve science learning achievement of fourth grade elementary school students.KEEFEKTIFAN PENGGUNAAN BAHAN AJAR SCIENCE LITERACY TERHADAP PENINGKATAN PRESTASI BELAJARAbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keefektifan penggunaan bahan ajar science literacy terhadap peningkatan prestasi belajar IPA siswa kelas IV sekolah dasar. Dalam pelaksanaan pengujian digunakan dua kelompok sampel, yaitu kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol. Tahap pengujian produk ini laksanakan pada dua sekolah dasar di kecamatan gunungpati dengan sampel adalah 56 siswa kelas IV sekolah dasar pada Tahun Ajaran 2017/2018 yang terdiri atas 30 siswa SD A dan 26 siswa SD B. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan tes. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bahan ajar IPA berbasis science literacy efektif meningkatkan prestasi belajar siswa dengan hasil perhitungan uji-t sebesar 0,031. Hasil uji-t tersebut membuktikan adanya perbedaan nilai pretest dan posttest pada kelompok kontrol dan eksperimen. Jadi dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan bahan ajar IPA berbasis science literacy efektif untuk meningkatkan prestasi belajar IPA siswa kelas IV sekolah dasar.

The research aimed to improve the learning process on science competence, improve the students’ creativity, and improve the students’ science learning achievement of grade V SD Negeri Karangreja 01, Cipari district, Cilacap regency through surrounding natural environment approach. The research was Classroom Action Research. The study was conducted in two cycles. This research was conducted in SDN Karangreja 01 Cipari, Cilacap from November to December 2014. The objects were all students of grade V consisting of 17 students. The data were collected using observation, paper and pencil tests, interviews, and documentation. The results showed the implementation of surrounding natural environment approach in science instruction could improve the students’ creativity and science learning achievement of grade V. The improvement of learning process indicated through the mean score at cycle I and II which are 13 and 14 respectively. The improvement of students’ creativity and learning achievement was indicated through the mean score of creativity test, the mean score of learning achievement on the aspects of affective, psychomotor, and cognitive at cycle I and cycle II. The improvement of creativity test score at cycle I and II were 11.56 and 13.31 respectively. The improvement of affective score at cycle I and II were 2.99 and 3.58 respectively. The improvement of psychomotor score at cycle I and II were 2.50 and 3.42 respectively. The improvement of cognitive score at cycle I and II were 75.36 and 86 respectively.

The aimed that wants to be achieved in this research are: 1) Developing accountancy learning materials using inquiry basis to increase the critical thinking and learning achievement of students; 2) Knowing the effectiveness of accountancy learning materials using inquiry basis to increase the critical thinking and learning achievement of students.This research uses the research and development menthod from Borg and Gall. This research develops the accounting learning material using inquiry basis.The subject in this research Is the students of SMK N 1 of 11 Accounting. The learning materials developed have been validated by 4 validator. They are : 1) the language expert, 2) media expert, 3) material expert, 4) practitioner. The significant test uses post test only control design Model.The result of the research is as follow: 1) The result of the research is the accounting learning materials with inquiry basis. The learning materials which are developed are presented by using thr case that must be finished by the students based on the Inquiry basis learning scenario with the steps started by setting the hypothesis, making the experiment, collecting the data, analyzing the data, and making the conclusion. After doing the development, the validation to the learning materials is done. The result of validation shows 87,96% which means the learning materials developed are valid and they can be used to try out, 2) The product developed is proved to be significant to improve the ability of critical thinking and learning achievement. The result of try out shows the average score for the experiment class is 81,85 and the average score for control class is 71,97. The average score shows that the experiment class has higher score that the control class. Next to test the signification product, it is done by using t-test. The result of t-test shows that the significant score 0,0 or <0,05 means that H0 is refused and Ha is accepted. This shows that the development of inquiry basis accounting learning materials are proved significantly effective to improve the ability of critical thinking and the students' achievement.
