This study aims to determine the effect of the use of media the influence of the science learning media on a scientific approach to scientific literacy skills and self-efficacy of students on human respirator material. This study uses an experimental method, the sample consists of 2 classes, cognitive learning achievement data using tests, affective aspects of learning achievement using a questionnaire, hypothesis testing using the right-hand t-test. The data analysis technique used is the n-gain test and independent sample t-test using SPSS version 16.0. The results showed that students who were taught using science learning media on a scientific approach had a good effect on scientific literacy and self efficacy better than students who were taught the lecture method. Students with high scientific literacy ability produce better average performance than students with low scientific literacy ability, and there is an increase in the self efficacy of students learning by using learning media

This study uses an experimental method, the sample consists of 2 classes, cognitive learning achievement data using tests, affective aspects of learning achievement using a questionnaire, hypothesis testing using the right-hand t-test. The data analysis technique used is the n-gain test and independent sample t-test using SPSS version 16.0. The results showed that students who were taught using science learning media on discovery learning models gave a good influence on students' interest and learning achievement better than students who were taught the lecture method. The implementation of Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) based on lesson study aimed to determine its effect on the biology learning achievement of high school students. This referred to quasi-experimental research by applying CTL learning based on lesson study to the experimental class and conventional learning in the control class. The population in this study amounted to 286 students (Science X class students of SMA Negeri 2 Jember). The sample in this study was determined through homogeneity test, normality test, and random sampling to determine the control class and the experimental class. The students' affective learning achievement was analyzed by using the independent sample t-test, while their cognitive learning achievement was analyzed by using ANAKOVA test. Based on the test results of the independent sample t-test, it was found that the students' affective learning achievement differed significantly between the students in experimental class and control class. Based on the results of ANAKOVA test, it was known that the application of CTL learning based on Lesson Study has a significant effect on students' cognitive learning achievement.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan keefektifan pendekatan problem-based learning (PBL) setting think talk write (TTW) dan problem-based learning (PBL) setting think pair share (TPS) serta mendeskripsikan perbedaan keefektifan antara PBL setting TTW dan PBL setting TPS ditinjau dari prestasi belajar, kemampuan berpikir kritis dan self-efficacy siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen semu. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data adalah tes prestasi belajar, tes kemampuan berpikir kritis dan angket self-efficacy siswa. Data yang dikumpulkan dianalisis dengan menggunakan one sample t-test, dan analisis multivariat (MANOVA). One sample t-test dilakukan untuk menguji keefektifan pendekatan PBL setting TTW dan keefektifan pendekatan PBL setting TPS, sedangkan analisis multivariat (MANOVA) dilakukan untuk menguji perbedaan keefektifan antara kedua treatment tersebut ditinjau dari prestasi belajar, kemampuan berpikir kritis dan self-efficacy siswa. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan PBL setting TTW dan pendekatan PBL setting TPS efektif ditinjau dari prestasi belajar, kemampuan berpikir kritis dan self-efficacy siswa. Selain itu hasil analisis multivariat menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat perbedaan keefektifan yang signifikan antara pendekatan PBL setting TTW dengan pendekatan PBL setting TPS ditinjau dari prestasi belajar, kemampuan berpikir kritis dan self-efficacy siswa. The Effectiveness of PBL Setting TTW and TPS Seen from Students Learning Achievement, Critical Thinking and Self-Efficacy  AbstractThis study aims to describe the effectiveness of problem-based learning (PBL) setting think talk write (TTW) and PBL setting think pair share (TPS) and describe the difference of the effectiveness between PBL setting TTW and PBL setting TPS in terms of learning achievements, critical thinking ability and self-efficacy of grade students. This research is quasi-experimental research. The research instruments to collect the data are a learning achievement test, a test to examine the ability to think critically and a self-efficacy questionnaire. One sample t-test was conducted to examine the effectiveness PBL setting TTW and PBL setting TPS. Meanwhile, multivariate test (MANOVA) was carried out to determine the difference between PBL setting TTW and PBL setting TPS. The results show that both PBL setting TTW and PBL setting TPS are effective in terms of students learning achievements, critical thinking ability, and self-efficacy and there is no significant difference between the effectiveness of PBL setting TTW and the effectiveness of PBL setting TPS in terms of learning achievements, critical thinking ability and student self-efficacy.

Penelitian eksperimen semu ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan keefektifan Pendekatan Saintifik, mendeskripsikan keefektifan Pendekatan PMRI, dan mendeskripsikan manakah yang lebih efektif diantara Saintifik dan PMRI ditinjau dari prestasi, minat, dan percaya diri. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII SMPN 2 Babadan Ponorogo Jawa Timur Indonesia dan secara acak terpilih kelas VIIB dan VIIC sebagai sampel. Teknik pengumpulan data adalah tes dan non-tes, dengan instrumen meliputi soal tes prestasi, angket minat dan percaya diri. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji t dan Hotelling’s Trace. Hasil penelitian pada taraf signifikansi 0,05 menunjukkan bahwa Pendekatan Saintifik efektif ditinjau dari prestasi, minat, dan percaya diri. Pendekatan PMRI efektif ditinjau dari prestasi dan percaya diri, tetapi tidak efektif ditinjau dari minat. Saintifik dan PMRI sama-sama efektif ditinjau dari prestasi dan percaya diri, akan tetapi ditinjau dari minat Saintifik lebih unggul daripada PMRI.Kata kunci: pendekatan Saintifik, pendekatan PMRI, prestasi, minat, percaya diri The Comparison of the Effectiveness of Scientific and PMRI Approaches Based on the Achievement, Interest, and Self-Confidence of Students of Grade VII AbstractThis quasi-experimental research aims to describe the effectiveness of Scientific Approach, describe the effectiveness of PMRI approach, and describe which is more effective between of Scientific and PMRI Approaches in terms of the achievement, interest, and self-confidence. The population in this research were students of class VII SMPN 2 Babadan Ponorogo, East Java, Indonesia, and randomly selected VIIB and VIIC classes as a sample. The data collection techniques were a test and non-test, the instrument covers about mathematics achievement tests, questionnaires for students’ interest and self-confidence. The data were analysed using the t test and the Hotelling's Trace test. The results show that at the significance level of 0.05 the Scientific Approach is effective in terms of students’ achievement, interest, and self-confidence, while the PMRI Approach is effective in terms of learning achievement and self-confidence, but it is not effective in terms of interest. The Scientific and PMRI Approaches are equally effective in terms of learning achievement and self-confidence, but in terms of interest the Scientific Approach is superior to the PMRI Approach.Keywords: Scientific Approach, PMRI Approach, mathematics achievement, interest, self-confidence

This research has two objectives. First, it is aimed to determine the effect of Academic Procrastination on the Accounting Learning Achievement in Accounting Study Program at grade X of SMK YPKK 1 Sleman academic year of 2014/2015. Second, it is amied to determine the effect of Academic Procrastination on the Accounting Learning Achievement through Self-efficacy as moderating variable in Accounting Study Program at grade X of SMK YPKK 1 Sleman academic year of 2014/2015 The population in this study was the students in Study Program at grade X of SMK YPKK 1 Sleman consists of 54 students. Data collection in this research were Questionnaire and Documentation. The questionnaires consisted of academic procrastination and self-efficacy instruments while the documentation was used to obtain Accounting Learning Achievement data. Research results showed that: (1) There is a significant negative effect of Academic Procrastination on the Accounting Learning Achievement in Accounting Study Program at grade X of SMK YPKK 1 academic year of 2014/2015, with rx1y = 0.575; r2x1y = 0.331; t-count -5.068 > t-table and sig 0.000 < 0.05;  (2) There is significant negative effect of Academic Procrastination on the Accounting Learning Achievement through Self-efficacy as moderating variable in Accounting Study Program at grade X of SMK YPKK 1 academic year of 2014/2015, with rx1y = 0.699; r2x1y = 0.489; t-count -2.030 > t-table and sig 0.048 < 0.050. This study aims to determine the effect of the recitation (assignment) method on science learning outcomes for V grade students in the 2021/2022 academic year. This research is a Quasi-Experimental type of research with the Nonequivalent Control Group Design type. The population in this study were all V grade students at SDN 2 Kekeri totaling 36 students and the technique used in sampling was saturated sampling technique where class VA was the control class and class VB was the experimental class. The data collection technique in this study was a test of students' cognitive learning outcomes in science. Data on students' cognitive science learning outcomes were analyzed using the t-test (t-test) Separated Variance with a significant level of 5%. Based on the results of the statistical analysis of the t-test, the results of tcount > ttable are 4,680 > 2,034, which means that there is an influence of the recitation method (assignment) on the science learning outcomes of V grade students of SDN 2 Kekeri Academic Year 2021/2022. The difference is 15.74 (78.29-62.55). Based on the calculation of the gain test on students' science learning outcomes, which is indicated by an average <g> of the experimental class of 0.562 in the medium category, higher than the control class average, which is 0.288 in the low category. Thus, it strengthens the conclusion that there is an effect of using the recitation method (assignment) on the science learning outcomes of fifth grade students of SDN 2 Kekeri Academic Year 2021/2022.

<p class="E-JOURNALTitle">Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan perangkat pembelajaran berbasis <em>problem solving</em> yang layak dan efektif digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran IPA materi perubahan lingkungan dan pengaruhnya terhadap hasil belajar kogitif peserta didik kelas IV sekolah dasar. Penelitian pengembangan ini mengacu langkah yang dikembangkan oleh Borg &amp; Gall. Perangkat pembelajaran yang dikembangkan divalidasi oleh ahli pembelajaran dan ahli evaluasi sebelum diujicobakan. Kemudian penerapannya dalam proses pembelajaran dinilai oleh guru kelas dan peserta didik. Perangkat pembelajaran berbasis <em>problem solving </em>berupa silabus, Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran (RPP), Lembar Kerja Siswa (LKS), dan Tes Hasil Belajar (THB) yang layak digunakan pada proses pembelajaran mendapatkan penilaian dengan kategori sangat baik dari ahli kecuali THB dengan kategori penilaian baik. Keefektifan perangkat pembelajaran dapat dilihat pada ketercapaian hasil belajar peserta didik yang pembelajarannya menggunakan perangkat pembelajaran berbasis <em>problem solving</em> lebih tinggi daripada peserta didik yang pembelajarannya dilakukan secara konvensional. This developmental research refers to the steps developed by Borg &amp; Gall. The learning devices that developed, were validated by a learning and evaluation expert before it was tested. Then, the implantation in learning process were evaluated by the teachers and the students. The learning devices based on problem solving include syllabus, lesson plans, student worksheets, learning achievement tests, that are appropriate on learning process because it gets very good category from the expert except the learning achievement test that belongs to good category. The effectiveness of the learning devices can be seen on the student’s result that used learning devices based on problem solving is higher than the students who use the conventional learning it is because the material selection on environmental changing and its effects in arranging the learning devices serves various problems, so the problem solving process interest the students.</p><p><strong>Keywords</strong>:development of learning device, problem solving, and science learning</p>

The process of teaching and learning activities of science subjects The material of the Indra and Maintenance Equipment which is usually done is lecture and only emphasize on the book. Teaching activities centered on teachers. Learners prefer to listen and record rather than ask or express opinions. Passive state of learners make a mistake pahama concept of teaching materials. The scientific approach is expected to increase activity and learning achievement. This study is a classroom action research consisting of two cycles. Subjects in this study were students class IV SD N 2 Kalibening 2017/2018 academic year which amounted to 20 children. Data collection techniques include observation, tests, interviews, and field notes. Data analysis using quantitative and qualitative analysis. The success criteria of action are said to be active if the number of active learners reaches 61% -80%. Criteria for the success of science learning achievement The material of Indra and Pemelihraanya which escaped KKM is 75% ≥ 81%.The results showed that learning with scientific approach has increased. Improvement can be seen in terms of activity and learning achievement of learners. In cycle I the percentage of activity reached 50% and increased in cycle II to reach 74%. Percentage increase in cycle I is 55% and increase in cycle II by 90%. It is concluded that the application of scientific approach can improve the activity and learning achievement of the fourth grade students of SD N 2 Kalibening in the science learning of the material of the sensory equipment and its maintainers.

This research aimed to know there is or no effect of scientific approach toward student’s motivation and learning achievement. The kind of this research was experimental research. Design of this research used pretest and posttest one group design, with population was all students of XI IPA at SMAN 1 Kopang. Sample of this research consist of two classes that is class XI IPA 1 as experimental group and class XI IPA 2 as control group which used random sampling tachnique. Mean of pretest was 23,21 in experimental group and 30,15 in control group. Mean of posttest was 74,74 in experimental group and 57,68 in control group. Percentage of student’s learning motivation was increased 59,85% (low) in experimental group and 64,65% (quite) became 82,40% (high) in experimental  group and 76, 56% (quite) in control group. The data of homogenity and normality was homogen and normal distribution. The data analysis used t-test. The result of t-test was 3,89 for motivation and 5,47 for learning achievement and t-table was 1,99 in 5% level of significant with t-test > t-table. This research showed that there is effect of scientific approach toward student’s motivation and learnig achievement at eleventh year students of SMAN 1 Kopang.

This study was aimed at knowing the development, feasibility and effectiveness of a Javanese script-based monopoly game learning medium on Javanese Language subject as a very feasible learning medium and helpful to improve the cognitive learning achievement of the fourth grade students of Islam Al madina Semarang. This study employed to Research and Development (R&D) method. The population and samples of this study were the students of class IV C of Islamic Elementary School (SD) Al Madina Semarang chosen by using random sampling. The data collection technique used by the researchers were questionnaire, interview, documentation, observation and test. Meanwhile, the data analysis was done by using the tests of validity, reliability, normality, t-Test, and N-gain. In the expert judgement phase, all experts agreed that the Javanese script-based monopoly game was very feasible to use as a learning medium with some revisions based on their feedbacks. Moreover, the feasibility percentages given by the experts were 98% from media expert, 97.8% from materials experts, and 94.3% from language expert. Further, this Javanese script-based monopoly game learning medium affected on the cognitive learning achievement of students proven by the different average scores of students understanding based on t test as many as 11.666 and average increase (N-gain) of 0.78 with high criterion. In conclusion, the Javanese script-based monopoly game learning medium is effective to be used as a learning medium.
