Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) Perbedaan kesiapan siswa dalam menghadapi UNBK antara yang melaksanakan tryout CBT dan PBT, (2) Perbedaan keefektifan tryout ujian nasional berbasis CBT dan PBT untuk siswa kelas XII dalam menghadapi UNBK. Jenis Penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen kuantitatif dengan metode Quasi Eksperimen dengan desain Nonequivalen Control Group Design. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah statistik diferensial. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Dari hasil analisis diketahui nilai Sig=0,000 (Sig<0,05). Jadi, H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima yang artinya ada perbedaan kesiapan siswa dalam menghadapi UNBK antara yang melaksanakan tryout CBT dan PBT. (2) Hasil pengukuran efektivitas diketahui Sig=0,000 (Sig<0,05). Jadi, H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima, artinya terdapat perbedaan keefektivan tryout ujian nasional berbasis CBT dan PBT untuk siswa kelas XII dalam menghadapi UNBK.Kata Kunci: Computer-based test, Paper-based test, Tryout The effectiveness of the National Test tryout based on Computer-Based Test to support the readiness in facing UNBKAbstractThis research aims to find out: (1) The Differences in the readiness of students in facing UNBK between those who carry out CBT and PBT tryout, (2) The effectiveness differences of CBT and PBT-based national exam tryouts for class XII students in facing UNBK. This type of research is quantitative experimental research with the Quasi Experiment method with the design of Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The data analysis technique used in this study is iferential statistics. The results of the research show that: (1) From the results of the analysis it is known that the Sig = 0,000 (Sig <0.05). So, H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted, which means there is a difference in the readiness of students in facing UNBK between those who carry out CBT and PBT tryout. (2) The Effectiveness measurement results are known to Sig = 0,000 (Sig <0.05). So, H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted, meaning that there are differences in the effectiveness of the national exam based CBT and PBT tryout for class XII students in dealing with UNBK.Keywords: Computer-based test, Paper-based test, Tryout

Abstract. The purpose of this study was to determine the mathematical communication skills of class VII students at Muhammadiyah Middle School in Pasir Penyu. This type of research is a Quasi Experiment with the design of Randomized Subject Posttest-Only Control Group Design. The data analysis technique in this test uses the t-test. Based on the calculation of the hypothesis test shows the significant value of the sample class is 0.003 <0.05. Based on these results, H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. So it can be concluded that the mathematical communication skills of students using the think talk write learning model is better than the mathematical communication skills of students using conventional learning models in class VII in the middle school Muhammadiyah Pasir Penyu.Keywords: Mathematical Communication, Think Talk Write

The research aimed to figure out the effect of metaphor counseling in STAR KIDS (Story Teach Responsibility for Kids) module toward the responsibility of 6-7-year-old students of the first grade of elementary school. The research used untreated control group design by providing pretest and posttest sample design. The research subject consisted of 21 students in the experimental group and 26 students as the control group. The responsibility data collection performed by using observation guideline checklist, which quantified in the interval scale. SPM Raven scale measured the children's bits of intelligence. The STAR KIDS treatment is given in 15 meetings. The results of the pretest and posttest were analyzed by using Anacova analysis technique through SPSS 17 for Windows. The research result showed that (1) students of experiment group who received STAR KIDS metaphor counseling showed higher responsibility increase rather than students of a control group who did not receive the treatment, (2) The intelligence of the students did not show the effect on the effectiveness of counseling metaphor.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh metode bercerita terhadap perkembangan karakter anak kelompok B TK Gugus 1 Kecamatan Tampaksiring Tahun Pelajaran 2017/2018. Penelitian ini menggunakan eksperimen semu (Quasi eksperiment) dengan nonequivalent control group design, Populasi penelitian ini berjumlah 324 anak. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik random sampling. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah anak kelompok B1 TK Widya Shanti berjumlah 30 anak sebagai kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok B2 TK Kumara Wiyata berjumlah 30 anak sebagai kelompok kontrol yang tidak dibelajarkan menggunakan metode bercerita dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai karakter. Data dikumpulkan dengan teknik observasi yang dianalisi menggunakan teknik analisis dengan uji-t berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh thitung=3,24 sedamgkan taraf signifikasi 5% dengan dk = 58 diperoleh nilai ttabel=2.00 sehingga thitung=3,24> ttabel=2.00 berdasarka kriteria penguji, maka Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Adapun rata-rata perkembangan nilai-nilai karakter pada kelompok yang dibelajarkan dengan cerita yang mengandung nilai-nilai karakter adalah = 77,80 sedangkan pada kelompok yang dibelajarkan tidak menggunakan cerita yang mengandung nilai-nilai karakter adalah = 65,87. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh metode bercerita yang mengandung nilai-nilai karakter terhadap perkembangan nilai-nilai karakter anak kelompok B TK Gugus 1 Kecamatan Tampaksiring Tahun Pelajaran 2017/2018.Kata Kunci : Nilai-nilai karakter, metode bercerita, cerita Kepahlawanan,cerita rakyat. This study aims to determine the effect of storytelling methods on the development of children character group B TK Cluster 1 Kecamatan Tampaksiring Lesson 2017/2018. This research uses quasi experiment with nonequivalent control group design. The population of this research is 324 children. Sampling using random sampling technique. The sample in this research is the children of B1 TK Widya Shanti group of 30 children as experimental group and B2 TK Kumara Wiyata group of 30 children as the control group that is not learned using the storytelling method in instilling the character values. Data collected by observation technique which analyzed by using analysis technique with t-test based on research result obtained thitung = 3,24 sedamgkan 5% significance level with dk = 58 obtained ttable value = 2.00 so thitung = 3.24> ttable = 2.00 based on criterion testers , then Ho is rejected and Ha accepted. The average development of character values in groups that are taught with stories containing character values is = 77.80 whereas in groups that are taught not using stories containing values of characters is = 65.87. Based on the results of this study can be concluded that there is influence of storytelling method that contains the character values of the development of the character values of children group B TK Cluster 1 Tampaksiring District Lessons 2017/2018.keyword : Values of character, story telling method, Heroic story, folklore

This research aims to know the existence effect of AIR (Auditory Intellectually Repetition) learning approach with the demonstration method toward the communication and critical thinking ability. This research includes the experimental research (pretest-postest only control group design) with a populations that are all of students grade VII SMPN 8 Taliwang with number of students 40 peoples, sample of this research there are two class, where class of VII A as a experimental class and class VII B as a control  class. Analysis technique used t-test, ttest  for critical thinking abilities 3,64 greater than ttabelis 2,15, communication skills obtained tvalue(3,33)  thantTabel(2,15). Cause the value ttest is greater than ttabel then Ho is unaccepted and Ha accepted, this means the use of AIR learning approach with the method of demonstration has effects on improvement of communication and critical thinking ability in class of VII SMPN 8 Taliwang.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkapkan keefektifan metode role playing dibandingkan dengan metode ceramah dalam peningkatan: (a) keaktifan siswa dan (b) kerja sama siswa dalam pembelajaran IPS kelas VIII di SMP Negeri 1 Marioriawa.  Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian quasi experimental dengan pretest-posttest control group design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah semua kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Marioriawa, Kabupaten Soppeng, Sulawesi Selatan. Sampel penelitian ini adalah dua kelas dari lima kelas, dipilih satu kelas kontrol menggunakan metode ceramah dan kelas eksperimen menggunakan metode role playing ditentukan dengan teknik simple random sampling dengan memilih secara acak. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data adalah angket dengan skala Likert dan panduan observasi. Validitas instrumen yang digunakan adalah validitas isi dan validitas empiris. Pengujian realibilitas dengan menggunakan Cronbach’s Alpha. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah teknik analisis uji-t. Hasil penelitian adalah sebagai berikut. (1) Metode role playing lebih efektif terhadap peningkatan keaktifan siswa dibandingkan dengan metode ceramah. (2) Metode role playing lebih efektif terhadap peningkatan kerja sama siswa dibandingkan dengan metode ceramah. Role atau peran yaitu siswa dibagi menjadi dua kelompok, kelompok pertama sebagai pemain peran dan kelompok kedua sebagai pengamat. Playing atau bermain yaitu siswa memainkan peran dalam topik musyawarah dan gotong royong dalam menciptakan keamanan desa. Dengan metode role playing, siswa dapat aktif dan bekerja sama pada saat memainkan peran atau karakter.Kata kunci: metode role playing, keaktifan, kerja sama THE EFFECTIVENESS OF ROLE PLAYING METHOD IN INCREASING THE ACTIVENESS AND COOPERATION IN SOCIAL STUDIESAbstractThis study aims to reveal the effectiveness of the role playing method compared with the lecture method in creasing: (a) the activeness and b) the cooperation in social studies of grade VIII students of SMP Negeri 1 Marioriawa. This study was quasi-experimental with the pretest-posttest control group design. The population was all students of class VIII of SMP Negeri 1 Marioriawa, Soppeng, South Sulawesi. The research sample was two out of five classes, one control class taught using the lecture method and one experimental class taught using the role playing method. The instrument used to collect data was a questionnaire with Likert scale and an observation. The validity of the instruments used content validity and empirical validity . Testing reliability by using Cronbach 's Alpha. The data analysis technique used was the t-test analysis technique.The results are as follows. (1) The role playing method is more effective in improving student activeness compared with the lecture method, (2) The role playing method is effective in improving cooperation compared with the lecture method. The role that the students were divided into two groups, the first group as a role player and the second group as observers. Playing that students play a role in the topic of discussion and mutual assistance in creating a security village. With this method of role playing, students can be active and work at the time played a role or character.Keywords: role playing method, activeness, cooperation

model  pembelajaran  circuit  learning  berbantuan  media  kartu soal  terhadap  hasil belajar  PKn. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Quasi Eksperimen dengan desain penelitian Nonequivalent Control Group Pretest-Postest. Data hasil belajar dijaring menggunakan  data hasil belajar PKn diambil menggunakan soal tes yang sudah memenuhi  persyaratatan instrumen  penelitian.  Keseluruhan data dianalisis secara kuantitatif melalui  uji parametrik  yang  terlebih dahulu  diuji persyaratan  analisis. Hasil  penelitian  menunjukkan  bahw a  ada pengaruh  model pembelajaran  circuit learning  berbantuan  media  kartu soal terhadap hasil belajar PKn sisw a. Dengan mencermati  nilai  rata-rata  yang  sangat tinggi,  maka  model pembelajaran  circuit learning berbantuan media kartu soal sangat efektif.  AbstractThe purpose of this research is to know w hether or not there is an influence of the  application  instructional  model  of  circuitlearning assisted  by  media  card tow ard the results of learning PKn. <p><strong>Abstract: </strong>This aim of this study was to determine effectiveness of using problem posing model combined with recitation method on student’s conceptual understanding. The method of this study is quasy experiment with pretest-posttest control group design, with control and experiment groups. The data analysis technique used was independent t-test and continued with an analysis of N-gain value to determine effectiveness. The results showed a significant difference between the posttest values of the control group and the experiment group with a significance value of 0,000 (α = 0.05). The results of the analysis of N-gain values showed that problem posing model combined with recitation method is more effective for student's conceptual understanding.</p><strong>Abstrak:</strong> Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keefektifan penggunaan model <em>problem posing</em> dipadu metode resitasi terhadap pemahaman konsep siswa. Metode penelitian ini adalah kuasi eksperimen dengan desain <em>pretest-posttest control group design</em>, dengan grup kontrol dan eksperimen. Tekhnik analisis data yang digunakan adalah <em>independent t-test</em> dan dilanjutkan dengan analisis nilai N-gain untuk mengetahui efektivitas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya perbedaan yang signifikan antara nilai <em>posttest</em> grup kontrol dan eksperimen dengan nilai signifikansi 0,000 (α= 0,05). Hasil analisis nilai N-gain menunjukkan bahwa model <em>problem posing</em> dipadu metode resitasi lebih efektif terhadap pemahaman konsep siswa.

This study is aimed to (1) describe the implementation of genogram technique in students’ career decision, (2) investigate students’ career decision, and (3) investigate the effect of genogram technique on students’ career decision. This study applied quantitative approach and implemented quasi experimental design as well as Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design to 20 samples. Data collection techniques applied in this research were career decision scale, observation, and interview.  This study implemented analytical statistic descriptive non parametric wilcoxon signed ranks test as data analysis technique. This study found that (1) there were low category of genogram technique implementation to affect students’ career decision in MAN 2 Kota Makassar before the treatment, while its high category found after the treatment, (2) students’ career decision in MAN 2 Kota Makassar was raised after genogram technique, and (3) genogram technique can increase students’ career decision in MAN 2 Kota Makassar.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya perbedaan aktivitas dan hasil belajar IPS siswa menggunakan metode Jigsaw dibandingkan menggunakan metode Ceramah di Kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Masaran Sragen, serta keefektifan metode Jigsaw terhadap aktivitas dan belajar dalam pembelajaran IPS siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Masaran Sragen. Penelitian ini merupakan True Experimental Design dengan desain Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. Analisis data menggunakan analisis statistik independent sample t-test dengan bantuan program SPSS 16.00 for Windows Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya perbedaan aktivitas dan hasil belajar dalam pembelajaran IPS menggunakan metode Jigsaw dibandingkan menggunakan metode Ceramah di Kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Masaran Sragen. Hal ini ditunjukkan dari hasil uji t pada aktivitas dan hasil belajar. Besar ukuran efek metode Jigsaw terhadap aktivitas dan hasil belajar memberikan efek sedang. Hal ini berarti, metode Jigsaw efektif terhadap aktivitas dan hasil belajar dalam pembelajaran IPS siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Masaran Sragen. AbstractThis study aimed to find out the differences in the comparison of using IPS learning activity and output using Jigsaw and lecturing method at SMP Negeri 1 Masaran Sragen Grade VIII and the effectiveness of Jigsaw method on students’ learning activity and output in IPS learning at SMP Negeri 1 Masaran Sragen Grade VIII. This study is true experimental with Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. The data analysis technique used statistic analysis of independent sample t-test towards the gain score in assistance with SPSS 16.00 for Windows program. The study showed the differences in the learning activity and learning output in using the Jigsaw method in comparison with lecturing method at SMP Negeri 1 Masaran Sragen. It can be seen from the result of t-test on learning activity and output. The Jigsaw method effect on learning activity and output give a medium effect. This means, the Jigsaw method was effective on students’ learning activity and output in IPS learning at SMP Negeri 1 Masaran Sragen Grade VIII.

This study aimed to analyze the use of stocklab game to improve students' understanding of the stock market. This research was a quasi-experimental study with a nonequivalent control group design. The object of this study were students of class X IPS in MAN Surabaya. Class X IPS 2 was determined as the experimental class while class X IPS 3 as the control class. Both classes were given the same treatment using cooperative learning methods make a match type and numbered head together, however in the experimental class, games were given in the form of stocklab games. The analysis technique used to test the research hypothesis was one way ANOVA. Hypothesis tested by comparing the pre-test and post-test scores in both classes. Based on the analysis results, it was known that there were differences in students' understanding of the control class and the experimental class, where the understanding of the experimental class students tend to be better than students in control class. In addition, students also tend to understand more stock market terms.
