Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan perangkat pembelajaran tematik integratif yang layak dan efektif untuk meningkatkan karakter santun dan tanggung jawab, motivasi intrinsik, dan prestasi belajar siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dan pengembangan yang terdiri atas sepuluh tahap, yaitu penelitian dan pengumpulan data, perencanaan, pengembangan produk awal, uji coba awal, revisi hasil uji coba awal, uji coba lapangan, revisi produk hasil uji coba lapangan, uji pelaksanaan lapangan, penyempurnaan produk akhir, dan diseminasi produk. Subjek uji coba berjumlah 3 siswa SD Glagahan pada uji coba awal, dan 9 orang siswa SD Tunjungan pada uji coba lapangan yang dipilih berdasarkan kriteria tinggi, sedang, dan rendah. Hasil penelitian ini berupa perangkat pembelajaran meliputi: silabus, RPP, LKS, media pembelajaran, dan soal tes prestasi. Hasil penilaian ahli materi dan ahli media untuk menguji kevalidan perangkat pembelajaran dinyatakan bahwa perangkat pembelajaran valid dan berkategori baik. Hasil uji coba menunjukkan bahwa produk yang dikembangkan layak serta memenuhi kriteria praktis dan efektif dalam meningkatkan karakter, motivasi, dan prestasi belajar siswa. Pembelajaran dengan produk yang dikembangkan mampu meningkatkan karakter santun dan tanggung jawab, motivasi intrinsik, dan prestasi belajar siswa. Kata kunci: perangkat pembelajaran tematik, karakter, motivasi, prestasi belajar. DEVELOPING THEMATIC LEARNING KITS TO IMPROVE THE CHARACTERS, MOTIVATION, AND LEARNING ACHIEVEMENT OF THE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL Abstract: This study aims to produce integrated thematic learning kits capable of improving students’ characters, especially politeness and responsibility, learning motivation, especially intrinsic learning motivation, and learning achievement. This was a research and development study consisting of ten stages, namely research and data collection, planning, preliminary product development, preliminary tryout, revision based on the preliminary tryout results, field tryout, revision based on the field tryout results, field implementation testing, product finalization, and product dissemination. The tryout subjects were Grade II students of the elementary school, consisting of 3 students of SD Glagahan in the preliminary tryout and 9 students of SD Tunjungan in the field tryout, selected based on the criteria for students from the upper, moderate, and lower groups. The research product is integrated thematic learning kits consisting of a syllabus, lesson plans, student worksheets, learning media, and learning achievement tests. The results of the assessment by the material expert and the learning media expert show that the developed learning kits are valid and good and appropriate to be used for thematic learning at the elementary school. The results of the tryout show that the developed learning kits are appropriate and capable of improving students’ characters, motivation, and learning achievement. This research was conducted in the fourth grade class of Public Elementary School 1 of Mrawan Jember with the purpose of investigating the application of inquiry instructional method to improve the fourth grade student's motivation and learning achievement in Social Science subject concerning Product, Communication, and Transportation Technology. The study was backgrounded by the fact that the students’ learning motivation and learning achievement in the very subject were rather low. The study applied Classroom Action Research (SAC), which was conducted in two cycles carried on for three meetings, through four stages, including planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects of this research were fourth grade students with the total number of 39 students. Data collection methods applied in this research were observation, interview, documentation, and test. Data Analysis in this research was descriptive qualitative in nature. Based on the results of research, the scores of students’  motivation in the first to the second cycle were 79 (high category) and 88,43% (very high category), subsequent to 9,43% increase, respectively. Based on the analysis on students’ learning achievement, improvement was also evident in that in the first cycle reached they reached 60,1 (medium/enough category) and in the second cycle they gained 81,3 ( very good category).

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya perbedaan motivasi belajar peserta didik yang signifikan sebelum dan sesudah diberi perlakuan penerapan Poseidon Meeting Classroom berbasis pendekatan ilmiah, ada tidaknya perbedaan prestasi belajar peserta didik yang signifikan sebelum dan sesudah diberi perlakuan penerapan Poseidon Meeting Classroom berbasis pendekatan ilmiah. Penelitian didesain sebagai penelitian eksperimen dengan rancangan satu faktor dan dua variabel. Satu faktor berupa media pembelajaran, dua variabel yaitu motivasi belajar dan prestasi belajar. Sampel penelitian ini merupakan peserta didik kelas X MIPA 7 SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Yogyakarta yang diberi perlakuan penerapan Poseidon Meeting Classroom. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik dokumentasi dan angket. Data mengenai motivasi dan prestasi belajar dianalisis menggunakan uji-t sama subjek. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya perbedaan motivasi belajar peserta didik yang signifikan sebelum dan sesudah diberi perlakuan penerapan Poseidon Meeting Classroom berbasis pendekatan ilmiah, adanya perbedaan prestasi belajar peserta didik yang signifikan sebelum dan sesudah diberi perlakuan penerapan Poseidon Meeting Classroom berbasis pendekatan ilmiah. This research was designed as an experimental research with one factor and two variables. The factor is learning media and the variables are learning motivation and achievement learning. The samples of this research are students in X MIPA 7 of SMA Muhammadiyah 1 the was a treatment of the application of scientific approach based Poseidon Meeting Classroom. The data collection technique was done with documentation and questionnaire techniques. The data about motivation and learning achievement were analyzed by using paired sample t-test. The result of this research showed that there was significant difference of learning motivation before and after taught using scientific approach based Poseidon Meeting Classroom, there was significant difference of learning achievement before and after taught using scientific approach based Poseidon Meeting Classroom. <p>The purpose of this research is to enhance learning motivation and learning achievement of character education in disciplinary values in grade III students of SDN 2 Japan, Dawe, Kudus 2014/2015 Academic Year. This research is a classroom action research consisting of two cycles including planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects of the study are 25 of Students. Data are obtained using interviews, documentation and questionnaire. Data analysis techniques used are qualitative descriptive. The results of the classroom action<br />research show that; 1) Application of thematic learning with the Contextual Teaching and Learning approach can appropriately increase motivation and learning achievement of character education in the discipline value of students in Elementary School 2 Jepang, Dawe sub-district, Kudus 2014/2015 Academic Year. Based on the results of the distribution of questionnaires on students' learning motivation, it was found that the success target of cycle I (76%) increased in cycle II to (96). 2) The advantage of thematic learning with the Contextual Teaching and Learning approach is that learning becomes more meaningful because students are shown the material concepts with the real world experienced in everyday life. The weaknesses students are hesitant in expressing their opinions.</p>

Learning motivation and parental attention are important things in increasing student learning readiness. The purpose of this study was to determine how big the influence and relationship between learning motivation and parental attention on the learning readiness of fifth-grade students of SD Harapan Indonesia. Data was collected through a sample to represent the entire population and data collection using a questionnaire. The method used is the descriptive method with data collection through questionnaires and observation. The results of the T-test showed that there was a positive relationship between learning motivation and learning readiness of fifth-grade students at Harapan Indonesia Elementary School Bekasi with a strong relationship level, there was a positive relationship between parental attention and learning readiness of fifth-grade students at Harapan Indonesia Elementary School Bekasi, with a moderate level of relationship. There is a positive relationship between learning motivation and parental attention together with the learning readiness of fifth-graders at SD Harapan Indonesia Bekasi with a moderate level of relationship. Abstrak Motivasi belajar dan perhatian orang tua merupakan hal yang penting dalam meningkatkan kesiapan belajar siswa. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh dan hubungan antara motivasi belajar dan perhatian orang tua dengan kesiapan belajar siswa kelas V SD Harapan Indonesia. Data dikumpulkan melalui sampel untuk mewakili seluruh populasi dan pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif dengan pengumpulan data melalui angket dan observasi. Hasil uji T menunjukkan adanya hubungan yang positif antara motivasi belajar dengan kesiapan belajar siswa kelas V SD Harapan Indonesia Bekasi dengan tingkat hubungan kuat, ada hubungan yang positif antara perhatian orang tua dengan kesiapan belajar siswa kelas V SD Harapan Indonesia Bekasi, dengan tingkat hubungan sedang. Terdapat hubungan yang positif antara motivasi belajar dan perhatian orang tua secara bersama-sama dengan kesiapan belajar siswa kelas V SD Harapan Indonesia Bekasi dengan tingkat hubungan sedang.

This research aims to develop a “human interaction board” teaching media for thematic teaching in the fifth grade of State Elementary School 3 Madusari, Prambanan, Sleman. This is a research and development study which uses Borg and Gall’s development procedures. A development which uses these procedures involves 9 stages, namely research and data collection, planning, initial product development, initial field try out, product revision, operational field try out, and final product revision. The population of this research are all fifth grade students of State Elementary School 3 Madusari, Prambanan, Sleman, there were 22 students. The research samples include all the population. The data collection was conducted by means of questionnaires, observations, and interviews with the class teacher and five students to determine the situation during the teaching process. The data analysis used a descriptive quantitative technique. The research results show that the human interaction board teaching media developed based on Borg and Gall’s development procedures was feasible to be used. This is based on the score percentage achieved from the validator and the students. Material validation results percentage from the lecturer showed a score of 80% with a criterion of feasible to be used. Material validation result percentage from the class teacher showed a score of 83.33% with a criterion of feasible to be used. Media validation results percentage from the lecturer showed a score of 77.33% with a criterion of feasible to be used. Media validation result percentage from the class teacher showed a score of 82.66% with a criterion of feasible to be used. Students scoring percentage achieved during a limited test showed 93% with a criterion of feasible to be used. During a field try out showed 94% with a criterion of feasible to be used. Operational field try out showed 94% with a criterion of feasible to be used.

The objective of this research was improving learning motivation and learning achievement of XI Accounting 1 Students of SMK Negeri 1 Pengasih Academic Year 2016/2017 using Cooperative Learning Model Team Game Tournament (TGT) on the subject Accounting for Trading Company. This research was Classroom Action Research (CAR) collaborating with teacher in two cycle. Data collection technique used were questionnare, documentation, and test. Based on research result concluded that implementation of Cooperative Learning Model Team Games Tournament (TGT) could improve Learning Motivation and Learning Achievement of XI Accounting 1 student of SMK 1 Pengasih Academic Year 2016/2017  evidenced by improvement of motivation score and achievement score. Motivation questionnare result shown improvement of students’ learning motivation improved to 5.97% from cycle I of 72.41% increased to 78.13% in cycle II. Improvement of Accounting Learning Achievement calculated from the average score increase of 23.78% in first cycle and increased of 19.61% in the second cycle.Keywords: Cooperative Learning, Team Game Tournament, Learning Motivation, Learning Achievement

Multicultural approach in Indonesian language has become an absolute necessity over the last years. This research highlights the role of multicultural culture as a means to improve writing achievement of Indonesian Language among elementary school students. This study aims at determining the effectiveness of the multicultural approach in the writing achievement of Indonesian language among fifth grade students of islamic elementary school who are grouped based on their learning motivation. This study can be catagorized as an experimental study with 2x2 factorial design. The independent variable consists of two categories, multicultural and conventional approaches. The population was  60 fifth grade students of at two private islamic schools. The data was collected using learning achievement tests and learning motivation questionnaires, and analyzed using two-way ANOVA and sheffe test. The results showed that (1) there were a gap in learning achievement between students in the experimental group and control group students; (2) there were differences in learning achievement between students with high motivation between both groups; (3) there were differences in learning achievement between low motivated students between both groups; (4) the multicultural approaches proved to be more effective than the conventional one; and (5) there was no interaction between the approaches and the learning motivation.

ABSTRAK           Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan pembelajaran tematik integratif di kelas rendah SD Muhammadiyah 07 Wajak, memperbarui pengetahun guru-guru SD Muhammadiyah 07 Wajak tentang kurikulum 2013, Memberikan Inovasi tentang pelaksanaan K13 yang sesuai dengan peraturan yaitu tidak memisah-misahkan mata pelajaran, serta memberikan ilmu pengetahuan yang baru tentang kurikulum 2013 di SD Muhammadiyah Wajak. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif, penelitian yang didasarkan pada data alamiah yang berupa kata-kata dalam mendeskripsikan objek yang diteliti melalui kegiatan pengumpulan data yang diambil saat penelitian terjadi  Hasil dan kesimpulan kegiatan PPDS  di SD Muhammadiyah 07 Wajak berlangsung dengan baik dan lancar. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari penerapan pembelajaran oleh tim PPDS yang sesuai dengan ciri-ciri pembelajaran tematik integratif yang mana antara lain berpusat pada anak, tidak memisah-misahkan mata pelajaran satu dengan yang lainnya, meskipun pada awalnya guru-guru di sana masih belum begitu faham dengan pelaksanaan pembelajaran tematik dalam kurikulum 2013. Berdasarkan pelaksanaan pembelajaran tematik sesuai kurikulum 2013 di SD Muhammadiyah 07 Wajak, maka peneliti menyimpulkan sebagai berikut: 1)Guru sudah mengetahui tentang kurikulum 2013 akan tetapi pada pelaksanaan guru belum sepenuhnya paham, 2)Kesiapan sarana dan prasarana untuk menunjang proses pembelajaran tematik yang sesuai dengan kurikulum 2013 cukup memadaiKata Kunci : Tematik, Kurikulum 2013ABSTRACT The purpose of this study is to describe integrative thematic learning in low grade Muhammadiyah 07 Wajak elementary school, update the knowledge of teachers of SD Muhammadiyah 07 Wajak, Giving Innovation about the implementation of K13 in accordance with the rules that is not separating subjects, as well as providing new knowledge about 2013 curriculum at SD Muhammadiyah Wajak. This research is a qualitative research, research based on natural data in the form of words in describing the object under study through data collection activities taken when the research occurredResults and conclusions of PPDS activities in SD Muhammadiyah 07 Wajak progressed well and smoothly. This can be seen from the application of learning by the PPDS team in accordance with the characteristics of integrative thematic learning which, among others, centered on children, did not separate subjects with one another, although at first the teachers there are still not so understand with the implementation of thematic learning in the curriculum 2013. Based on the implementation of thematic learning according to the 2013 curriculum in SD Muhammadiyah 07 Wajak, the researchers concluded as follows: 1) Teachers already know about the curriculum 2013 but on the implementation of teachers have not fully understood, 2) Readiness facilities and infrastructure to support thematic learning process in accordance with the 2013 curriculum is sufficient.Keyword : Tematic, Curriculum 2013

The objectives of this tudy are to describe (1) the influence of learning facilities toward the learning achievement of hydrolic system, (2) the influence of practice learning motivation toward the learning achievement of hydrolic system, and (3) the influence of learning facilities and practice learning motivation toward the learning achievement of hydrolic system in the academic year 2013/2014. This study shows that (1) there is a positif and significant learning facilities toward the learning achievement of hydrolic system, (2) there is a positif and significant practice learning motivation toward the learning achievement of hydrolic system, and (3) there is a positif and significant learning facilities and practice learning motivation toward the learning achievement of hydrolic system in the academic year 2013/2014. The practice learning motivation and learning facilities can improve knowledge, desire of the students to develop their knowledge and creativity in learning, so that the result of learning can be improved. The better practice learning motivation and learning facilities, soothe better improvement of learnig achievement of hydrolic system.

The low learning motivation of students in the learning process. The initial motivation of students is 69% (less), namely out of 14 students, only four students meet the indicators of success. It is because teachers still dominate teaching and learning activities so that learning is teacher-centered. In the learning process, some students did not pay attention to the lessons given by the teacher. This study aims to determine the increase in motivation and learning achievement of students through the cooperative model of the Student Teams Achievement Divisions type assisted by audio-visual media. This type of research is classroom action research. The research procedure was carried out in two cycles. The source of the data taken is the entire class V, totaling 14 students. Data collection methods used are documentation, questionnaires, and interviews. The data analysis technique used is quantitative and descriptive qualitative analysis. The results showed an increase in student motivation. Students' learning motivation in the first cycle reached 74% (enough) as many as 8 students had met the success indicators, and in the second cycle, it was 81% (good) as many as 12 students had met the success indicators. Based on the results of the analysis and discussion, it can be concluded that the Student Teams Achievement Divisions type cooperative model can increase students' motivation and learning achievement.
