This study analyses the effectiveness of instructional media using Digital Video Disc (DVD) and videos in nutrition education concerning the development of toddlers’ food preferences of balanced meals based on community empowerment. The media was expected to be used by the cadre of Posyandu (Maternal and Child Health Centre) and housewives in Rawamangun village. This study used the quasi experiment method. The data analysis showed the score of F was 15.89 that was higher than the F table with the score of 4.11 in the significance level of 0.05. It indicates the learning outcomes of the instructional media using DVD and videos was higher than using handouts. The result of this study was a nutrition education model concerning the development of toddlers’ food preferences of balanced meals in the form of DVD and videos that can be effectively applied. The media is able to improve the learning outcomes of nutrition education including the knowledge and the skills. Thus it indirectly supports the government program in community empowerment. Penelitian ini dilakukan bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas  penggunaan media dalam bentuk DVD interaktif dan video dalam perancangan model pendidikan tentang pembentukan kesukaan balita terhadap makanan bergizi seimbang pada ibu berbasis pemberdayaan masyarakat yang dapat digunakan oleh kader posyandu dan ibu rumah tangga kelurahan Rawamangun. Metode quasi experiment. Hasil analisis varians dua jalur antar kolom diperoleh harga Fhitung = 15,89 lebih besar dibandingkan Ftabel = 4,11 pada taraf signifikansi α = 0,05. Nilai ini menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar kader posyandu dengan media dalam bentuk DVD dan video lebih baik dibandingkan dengan media handout. Hasil penelitian dapat membentuk suatu model pendidikan gizi yaitu media dalam bentuk DVD interaktif dan video tentang pembentukan kesukaan anak terhadap makanan bergizi seimbang yang diterapkan. Media dan metode tersebut dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar berupa pengetahuan dan keterampilan dalam penyuluhan gizi pada ibu, kader posyandu dan masyarakat sehingga secara tidak langsung dapat membantu program pemerintah dalam pemberdayaan masyarakat. The developed media improves the achievement of nutritional education of mothers, society and indirectly helped the government program in community empowerment.

Abstract: This study is a research and development, which aims to produce instructional media, based MindManager that valid, practical and effective. The subjects were eighth grade students of SMP 27 Makassar by the number of students 39 people. This study uses the research and development according to Borg and Gall. Data collection techniques used in this research is the data on validation results obtained from the validation instrument sheet filled out by the valuator, the data for practicality level obtained from questionnaires that filled out by the valuator and practitioners, the data for effectiveness obtained from questionnaire of students' responses and mastery of student learning outcomes by intructional media based on MindManager. The data obtained from the study were analyzed using the criteria of validity, practicality and effectiveness by Hobri. The research results of development instructional media based on MindManager shows that the total value of the validation results by valuator are 4.42 and included in the valid category. The average level of practicality by valuator questionnaire was 91.33% and 90.66% by practitioners. The effectiveness of the media based on the student response was 96.6% gave a positive response and mastery of learning outcomes is 89.7% of the subjects achieved a minimum level of mastery of the material. Based on these results it can be concluded that the instructional media based MindManager developed by validity, practicality and effectiveness criteria.

The media is a tool that intersects in the process of teaching and learning for the achievement of educational goals in general and learning objectives in schools in particular. The media is also a means of transporting messages or information that is instructional or contain teaching purposes and is therefore called learning media. Many benefits can be taken from media management from what we know so far. The practical benefits of instructional media in the teaching and learning process are learning media that can clarify the presentation of messages and information so as to facilitate and improve the process and learning outcomes. The use of instructional media with multicam studio design using vmix can increase student motivation and can also affect student achievement or learning outcomes. It is expected that the results of this learning media will have an impact on increasing students in learning the basics of multimedia systems, as well as a question and answer activity to increase student activity in the learning process.

This paper explores the contribution of media in changing the image of an indigenous community by  controlling some information of the tribal values possessed by the Baduy tribe in the media. The media that represent Baduy Tribe to public is called  "Desa Kanekes" which invite readers to see the transformation from isolate tribe to tolerate tribe y. Framing in commodification spaces are identified in this media so that by using discourse framing by Foucault, Barthes's semiology, and commodification by Christ Ryan, this paper will describe and interpret the hidden sign  in the website. Baduy’sidentity has unknowingly changed direction from farmers to craftsmen.  The website contains  articles that certainly support the government program to increase the production of weaving that can support the economic life of the Baduy community. The view point of Baduy life principle which is living a simple and spiritual life is changing through this website. Baduy tribe is directed to become modern indigenous people. This process can be seen on this website that is classified into two spatial codes, i.e. public space and private space. Public spaces are represented in Baduy festival columns and Meretas Mimpi. The private spaces are represented in writing about ritual cultivation and weaving. Ambiguity occurs in most articles because the unexplained division of custom territory that is the basis of the Baduy interaction boundaries . The identity of the actual Baduy (Inner Baduy) does not receive any portion in this website. This could impact to their existence in the future. There is an indication that the Baduy Luar is Baduy thoroughly. This is certainly contrary to reality.

This research focuses attention on accountability in the management of Village Funds Allocation (ADD) in efforts to improve the development of the village and community empowerment. This research is expected to be useful in efforts to improve the accountability of the management of Village Funds Allocation. The results of this research showed that the accountability ADD both technically and administration has een running well in accordance with the applicable rules with evidence of accountability in a transparent and accountable, so also in the management of village funds allocation, proven by the existence of Accountability Report (LPJ) the contents of which there is a cash book receipt, aiding, news events and other activities that have been documented through the pictures that are attached and physical development has been carried out the construction by constructing the irrigation water stones times. The realization of the report and report the realization of the implementation of Regional Budget Villages communicated to the society in writing and with the media information that is easily accessible by the community as shown by the existence of an attachment realization of that has been written. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kefektifan media pembelajaran kearsipan digital dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa SMK Negeri 3 Surakarta. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dan pengembangan (R & D). Model pengembangan media ini menggunakan model Hannafin dan Peck. Subyek pengujian dilakukan di dua kelas, yaitu kelas X AP 1 (kelas eksperimen) dan X AP 2 (kelas kontrol) di SMK Negeri 3 Surakarta. Uji prasyarat analisis meliputi uji normalitas, uji homogenitas dan menggunakan uji-t. Teknik analisis yang digunakan deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keefektifan dari media pembelajaran kearsipan digital bahwa thitung> ttabel = (3,26> 2,00), maka H0 ditolak, itu berarti bahwa kedua kelompok memiliki skor prestasi belajar yang berbeda. Hasil posttest antara kelas eksperimen (menggunakan media yang dikembangkan) dengan kelas kontrol (tidak menggunakan media yang dikembangkan) menunjukkan bahwa nilai rata-rata yang diperoleh kelas eksperimen adalah 80,59, nilai rata-rata lebih tinggi dari kelas kontrol 77, 97. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah pengembangan media pembelajaran kearsipan  digital dianggap efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa SMK Negeri 3 Surakarta.Kata kunci: kearsipan, media pembelajaran, microsoft access THE DEVELOPMENT OF LEARNING MEDIA ARCHIVES TO IMPROVE STUDENT LEARNING OUTCOMES SMK NEGERI 3 SURAKARTAAbstractThis study aims to determine the effectiveness of instructional media digital archives in improving student learning outcomes SMK Negeri 3 Surakarta. This study is a research and development (R & D). Models using the model of media development Hannafin and Peck. Subjects testing was conducted in two classes, X AP 1 (experimental class) and X AP 2 (control group) at SMK Negeri 3 Surakarta. Prerequisite test analysis covering the normality test, homogeneity and using t-test. The analysis technique used descriptive qualitative and quantitative. The results showed that the effectiveness of digital archival media learning that tcount> ttable = (3.26> 2.00), then H0 is rejected, it means that the two groups had different learning achievement scores. Results posttest between the experimental class (using the media developed) with a control class (do not use the media developed) shows that the average value obtained experimental class is 80.59, the average value is higher than the control class 77, 97. Conclusion this research is the development of instructional media digital archives are considered effective in improving student learning outcomes SMK Negeri 3 Surakarta.Keywords: archives, learning media, microsoft access

Nationally data show that no province in Indonesia to reach the targets of the Millennium Development Goals in 2015, that is 100% access to the toilets. Open defecation behavior is the main cause in occurrence of disease based environment. This research was conducted to describe the implementation process of the first pillar a program called Community Based Total Sanitation, “Stop Open Defecation” in the Lembur Timur and Luba Village, District Alor subdis– Lembur on 2015. This research was evaluative draft summative approach system descriptive analyzed. The interview was carried out in public health centre and village on 14 people that implementing Community Based Total Sanitation. The subjects of Reviews These studies were taken in purposive sampling. In-depth interviews, examination of documents and observations conducted to get a more information about the variables Examined. Variable in this Research was process of the program. Research results showed variable training facilitator, plan of action, natural leader as well as monitoring and evaluation were eligible with Permenkes No. 3 on 2014 about Community Based Total Sanitation, whereas the variabel of trigger and advocacy were not eligible. There were no document trigger and recommendations written advocacy activities related to the government of the village. Community empowerment efforts haven’t been running because not maximal formed Village Community Based Total Sanitation Committee. Need to increase the knowledge of sanitarian with conduct a study and comparative study to other public health centre with the recording system and reporting as well as the establishment of Village Community Based Total Sanitation Committee.

Dalam usaha mendapatkan hasil belajar siswa yang baik maka tenaga pendidikan harus mempunyai strategi dalam melakukan pembelajaran. Salah satu model pembelajaran yang dapat digunakan yaitu Advance Organizer. Dalam hal menunjang penggunaan suatu model, maka diperlukannya penggunaan media pembelajaran tertentu, salah satu media yang dapat digunakan yaitu media animasi komputer. Sampel penelitian diambil berdasarkan Sampling Jenuh. Desain penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah desain kelompok Two group posttest only. Hasil analisis daya serap dalam kategori baik, ketuntasan belajar secara klasikal sudah tuntas dan efektivitas pembelajaran adalah efektif. Ini berarti bahwa penggunaan model Advance Organizer berbantu animasi komputer adalah efektif digunakan dalam melihat hasil belajar fisika siswa SMA Rambah Hilir baik ditinjau melalui daya serap, ketuntasan belajar dan efektivitas pembelajarannya.In an effort to get the good results of student learning the teacher must have strategies for learning. One model of learning that can be used is Advance Organizer. In terms of supporting the use of a single model, there is a need for the use of specific instructional media. The media that can be used is computer animation media. The design used in this research was the group design of two group posttest only. The results of the analysis of absorption was in good, classical learning completeness has been completed and the effectiveness of learning was effective. This means that the use of model Advance Organizer assested computer animation is effective in view student learning outcomes of physics at SMA Rambah Hilir well reviewed through absorption, mastery learning and learning effectiveness.

The aim of this study described the effectiveness of instructional media that produces valid, effective, and practical media. The development of communication and technology requires teachers to be more active and creative in carrying out classroom learning.  Teachers can develop learning media that can improve student learning outcomes. The sample of this research trial was the students of class X at MAN 1 Mojokerto. This study uses a 4-D research method which is shortened to 3-D.  Data collection techniques used include interviews with mathematics teachers, pretest and posttest questions.  The instruments used in this study include guidelines for using media, teaching materials, validation sheets, student response questionnaires and tests.  The results of this study indicate that the average validation guide for the use of media, and teaching materials is 95.15%, besides that the validator also provides an assessment on the response questionnaire sheet of 97.5%.  This indicates that the media guidelines, teaching materials, and response questionnaires are very valid.  The average result of the N-Gain value of students is 0.96, based on the N-Gain criteria scale shows high criteria so that the media is said to be effective, and the results of the calculation of students' questionnaire responses show that each statement point is greater by 70% and the students can be said to be good in ability operate the gadget. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan efektivitas media pembelajaran yang menghasilkan media valid, efektif dan praktis. Berkembangnya komunikasi dan teknologi menuntut guru untuk lebih aktif dan kreatif dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran di kelas. Guru bisa mengembangkan media pembelajaran yang mampu meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Sampel uji coba penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X di MAN 1 Mojokerto. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian 4-D yang dipersingkat menjadi 3-D. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan meliputi wawancara pada guru matematika, soal pretest dan posttest. Instrumen yang digunakan penelitian ini meliputi panduan penggunaan media, bahan ajar, lembar validasi, angket respon peserta didik dan tes. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata validasi panduan penggunaan media dan bahan ajar adalah 95,15%, selain itu validator juga memberikan penilaian pada lembar angket respon sebesar 97,5%. Hal ini menyatakan bahwa panduan media, bahan ajar dan angket respon sangat valid. Hasil rata-rata nilai N-Gain peserta didik sebesar 0.96, berdasarkan skala kriteria N-Gain menunjukkan kriteria tinggi sehingga media dikatakan efektif dan hasil perhitungan respon angket peserta didik menunjukkan tiap poin pernyataan lebih besar dengan 70% sehingga peserta didik dapat dikatakan baik dalam kemampuan mengoperasikan gadget.

This research article aims to study, analyze, and develop community capacity to empower communities and prevent social problems in Nakhonpathom province. This work is qualitative research and uses documentary research to create training prototypes and focus groups among sample groups or key informants. This is a group of volunteers' spirits, Phutthamonthon, Nakhonchaisri Samphran district totaling 34 people to be aware of the community's problems. The study results showed that the training model obtained from the document's synthesis and processing consisted of the volunteer concept, The King's philosophy, the concept of community empowerment. After that, the focus groups found that the volunteer spirit group in the Phutthamonthon district voted that the garbage problem was the biggest, consistent with the volunteer spirit in Samphran district. Both groups propose a waste separation campaign, support equipment from government agencies, educators. In contrast, the Nakhonchaisri district volunteer spirit group resolved that the problem of invasion of the Tha-chin river was the most important. Moreover, proposed state legislation to create a group to negotiate seriously with the government and put pressure on those who transgress the river, including the media as a tool of pressure. Finally, by training the model with a volunteer group, they will understand the problems in their communities and formulate groups to solve problems in the community through volunteer activities.

Abstract   Android application-based learning media is an effective way, because the students motivation have increased in learning and practicing learning activities. Learning media which utilizes Android which emphasizes on several applications that are easily owned by all students and instructors, so that they are easy and affordable. Gagne and Briggs in the Book (Azhar, 2002) provide a limitation on the scope of the media including physical devices with the aim of conveying subject matter such as books, tape recorders, video recorders, films, slides (picture frames), photos, graphics, television and computer. Nemo is an android application that is designed as a medium of learning and language learning by mastering a number of useful words. In the android application, Nemo is like a simple pocket dictionary so that it helps in improving the language level through various learning materials. This study examines the effectiveness of the use of Android-based Arabic Nemo teaching materials for students at Al- Khalifah Islamic boarding school Cibubur. Beginner level students at Al- Khalifah Islamic boarding school Cibubur in learning Arabic. Many relevant studies prove that the teaching and learning activities using android made learning outcomes better than teaching and learning activities without using it. This study aims to test the effectiveness of instructional media on learning outcomes and whether it is more effective than teaching and learning activities that do not use instructional media in Arabic learning, the average value obtained indicates the benefits and effectiveness of using NEMO media on success in teaching and learning activities.
