The aim of every business activity is maximising profits, which explains the tendency of business entities to make products and services readily and easily available for customers. The insurance activity is not free of placement problems. In order to survive, an insurance company must constantly follow the trend of the development of services and distribution channels. As an emergence of global insurers has raised the issue of the placement of insurance services, innovations related to the placement of insurance services will be the subject of this paper. However, the success of the placement of services is dependent upon the fulfilment of the following preconditions: the service is of great quality; it is adequately distributed – available, its price – the insurance premium – suits the quality and is competitive; the service is presented to customers in a quality manner, while the sales personnel is highly motivated to do their job. The merger of a banking and insurance subject may result in the reduction of costs, as well as in spurring the synergistic effects and an increase in revenue. New technologies, new approaches and dexterities of businessmen contribute to delivering better business results.

The subject of the study are the theoretical foundations of economic security of the business entity. It is determined that the strengthening of the role of the information component in ensuring economic security is due to digitalization, informatization and globalization of business processes. It is claimed that the use of the results of scientific and technological progress causes the emergence of new types, tools and products of business, accelerates production processes, intensifies trade and exchange. With the development of new technologies, the number of incidents related to information leaks and cyberattacks in various fields: in financial and media companies, in the field of nuclear energy and others increases with geometric dependence. It is emphasized that a significant part of companies does not pay enough attention to the creation of full-fledged protection systems. It is determined that with the participating enterprise is not only a technical and technological complex for the production of material goods and services. Most economic security researchers view the enterprise primarily as an association of individuals to achieve a common goal. The staff of the enterprise is both a factor of production and a source of its development. It is emphasized that together with a large number of positive effects of the introduction of new technologies opens up many opportunities to harm business. In this case, the subjective factor in information security plays a crucial role, and can both harm the business and lead to its prosperity. Due to the fact that the issues of information security of economic entities as a component of their economic security have long gone beyond sectoral problems and require further careful study at the level of the state and society as a whole.

In this chapter, the concepts of cross-functional collaboration and corporate digital cultures, which are the basic components of achieving digital maturity, which must be coordinated together, are elaborated, and an applicable roadmap proposal is created.

Introduction. The article examines the features of holding general meetings of members in non-public business companies, in particular questions about the place of decisions of general meeting in the system of legal facts, their relationship with the deal and the contract. The ability to use digital technology in decision making. Theoretical Basis. Methods. The article is based on an analysis of the norms of positive law, primarily the Civil Code and the Laws on Company Business. Results. The authors conclude that the starting point in the activities of a non-public business company is the acquisition and exercise of their civil rights and the fulfilment of duties, and not a legal relationship that includes civil rights and civil duties as a necessary element. In addition, the decision of a general meeting, despite having many features in common, is not a deal. The decision of a general meeting, acting as an act of individual regulation, is in fact an act of a legal entity, and not a decision of the business community. The authors proposed a classification of decisions of meetings of business entities, depending on the method of their adoption, the possibilities being: the unanimously adoption by all participants of the company; decisions of the meeting of members of a company being adopted by a majority, or a qualified majority, of votes; decisions of the meeting of members of a company to change its charter, reorganization and liquidation of the company, requiring state registration in the unified state register of legal entities. The decision of a general meeting can be made either in person or in absentia, or a combination of the two. The decision of the meeting adopted in absentia will be valid, despite the absence of any special document establishing the procedure for its adoption. Discussion and Conclusion. Decisions of general meetings are actions of participants in a business company concerning legal consequences, including civil rights and obligations, in cases specified by law, and binding on all persons entitled to participate in the meeting, as well as other persons, whether required by law or having some other involvement.

Science, technology and human values have been the subject of enquiry in the last few years for social scientists and eventually the relationship between science and gender is the subject of an ongoing debate. This is due to the event of globalization which led to the exponential growth of new technologies like assisted reproductive technology (ART). ART, one of the most iconic technological innovations of the twentieth century, has become increasingly a normal social fact of life. Since ART invades multiple human discourses—thereby transforming culture, society and politics—it is important what is sociological about ART as well as what is biological. This article argues in commendation of sociology of technology, which is alert to its democratic potential but does not concurrently conceal the historical and continuing role of technology in legitimizing gender discrimination. The article draws the empirical insights from local articulations (i.e., Odisha state in eastern India) for the understandings of motherhood, freedom and choice, reproductive right and rights over the body to which ART has contributed. Sociologically, the article has been supplemented within the broader perspectives of determinism, compatibilism alongside feminism.

The COVID-19 pandemic has set new challenges for the HoReCa industry. Lockdowns have coincided with and strongly impacted the industrial transformation processes that have been taking place for a decade. Among the most important HoReCa transition processes are those related to the rapid growth of the delivery-food market and ordering meals via internet platforms. The new delivery-food market requires not only the development of specific distribution channels, but also the introduction of appropriate, very specific food packaging. Food packaging and its functionality are defined by the administrative requirements and standards applicable to materials that have contact with food and principally through the prism of the ecological disaster caused by enormous amounts of plastic waste, mainly attributed to the food packaging. To meet environmental and administrative requirements, new technologies to produce food packaging materials are emerging, ensuring product functionality, low environmental impact, biodegradability, and potential for composting of the final product. However, predominantly, the obtained product should keep the nutritional value of food and protect it against changes in color or shape. Current social transformation has a significant impact on the food packaging sector, on one hand creating a new lifestyle for society all over the world, and on the other, a growing awareness of the negative impact of humans on the environment and increasing responsibility for the planet. The COVID-19 pandemic has highlighted the need to develop a circular economy based on the paradigm of shortening distribution channels, using local raw materials, limiting the consumption of raw materials, energy, water, and above all, minimizing waste production throughout the life cycle of products, all of which are in line with the idea of low-carbon development.

The subject of the study is a retrospective of the legal norms formation. Under these norms the prosecutor will be able to govern the issues of ensuring the legitimate interests of the state, society, business entities and the rights of citizens in resolving disputes in the field of economic activity. Chronological framework of research includes the period from the establishment of prosecutor's office in 1722 up to the collapse of USSR in 1991. The relevant legislation is analyzed. The author examines the scope of prosecutor powers in this sphere at different stages of formation and development of prosecution, and reveals the problems of determining the prosecutor's office place in the system of existing at that time bodies of state power. It is concluded that the prosecution authorities, since their creation in Russia and up to the present stage of development, taking a greater or lesser degree of participation in the resolution of disputes in the sphere of economic activity, played a significant role in the protection of exclusively state interests. The interests of society, business entities and citizens in the sphere of economic activity if there is a dispute were considered only through the prism of such interests. The hierarchy of interests of participants of economic activity in dispute resolution was unbalanced and built without taking into account the interests of all participants of economic relations.
