Abstract: Abstract: A research development of teaching materials in the form of character-based worksheets. This research is aimed at developing producing output an elementary teaching materials based on the character value addition through this research are expected to: 1) provide accurate information to organizations / institutions / groups ber- competent to teach students to use materials ajarberbasisnilai right character in Basic pendidikanSekolah levels; 2) the development of strategies and policies that will be recommended from this research can be a direction for developm-ment-based learning models karakterdi value formal education, 3) prod- ucts of this study can be a reference for the Department of Education in policy decisions ber- connection with efforts to improve the quality of education in North Maluku in obtaining appropriate teaching materials in elementary school education. The results of this study indicate that that the teaching materials developed are worksheets grade 5 semesters 1 with the theme of Ben-da-objects in the surrounding environment. Integrating the value of the character in the worksheets to follow the curriculum in 2013 with thematic integrative approach. LKS validation results developed are still in pretty decent categories used so that still needs to be revised and improved in the development of the next stage. Abstrak: Telah dilakukan  penelitian pengembangan bahan ajar  berbentuk LKS berbasis karakter. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan yang bertujuan menghasilkan out put suatu bahan ajar SD berbasis nilai karakter Selain itu melalui penelitian ini diharapkan dapat: 1) memberikan informasi yang akurat kepada organisasi/lembaga/kelompok yang ber-  kompeten untuk mengajarkan kepada anak didik dengan memakai bahan ajarberbasisnilai karakter yang tepat di jenjang pendidikanSekolah Dasar; 2) strategi pengembangan dan kebi- jakan yang akan direkomendasikan dari penelitian ini dapat menjadi arahan bagi pengem-bangan model-model pembelajaran  berbasis nilai karakterdi jenjang pendidikan formal, 3) ha- sil penelitian ini dapat menjadi acuan bagi Dinas pendidikan dalam penentuan kebijakan ber- kaitan dengan upaya peningkatan mutu pendidikan di Maluku Utara dalam memperoleh bahan ajar yang tepat pada jenjang pendidikan Sekolah Dasar. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa bahwa bahan ajar yang dikembangkan adalah LKS kelas 5 semester 1 dengan tema ben- da-benda di lingkungan sekitar. Pengintegrasian nilai karakter dalam LKS mengikuti kuriku- lum 2013 dengan pendekatan tematik Integratif. The Western Region

Central Schools in New South Wales administratively combine primary and secondary schools on a single site. They are normally located in small, relatively isolated, rural communities. In the Western Region of the NSW Department of Education there are 19 Central Schools varying in size from 88 to 557 students. At the time of this study eight of the Central Schools catered for students from kindergarten to Year 12, the remaining eleven catered for kindergarten to Year 10.In 1987/88 Mitchell CAE, in collaboration with the Department of Education in the Western Region, undertook a major research study into the perceptions of Central Schools held by those most closely involved (Sinclair 1988). Prior to the study much of the knowledge of how Central Schools were perceived was anecdotal and impressionistic. This study aimed at gathering comparative data from all Western Region Central Schools about how those who taught, studied, or sent their children there perceived the quality of education provided by Central Schools.

<p>Education is very important for us, the country can go forward because the people are educated. The success of education is determined by the quality of education itself. To know the quality of education required a result or achievement. One of the factors affecting achievement is the facility. The purpose of this study is to determine whether there is influence of learning facilities on student achievement. Sampling using simple random sampling system as much as 58 people from the total population as much as 70 people at the level of formal education. The method used in data collection that is using quisioner, observation and documentation. Data analysis technique used is using simple linear regression analysis. Based on the results of data analysis and hypothesis testing it is known that the two variables of learning facilities (X) and student learning achievement (Y) have a positive influence, this is evidenced by r = 0.277 where the guidelines used to provide interpretation proposed by Sugiyono are at intervals 0.20 - 0.399 which fall into the low category[18]. Based on the results of research that has been put forward by the authors which there is influence between learning facilities on learning achievement with low categories, it is necessary to improve the effectiveness of the use of learning facilities and conducted other research on other factors that affect student achievement in addition to learning facilities.</p>

Salafiyah Syafi'iyah Islamic Boarding School is a combination of Religion and general science. This Islamic boarding school still maintains its traditional system by using the method of sorogan and wetonan in carrying out the process of its education system especially in the study of classical books while the quality of education in the Salafiyah Syafi'iyah Islamic Boarding School is quite good. Educational programs in the Salafiyah Syafi'iyah Islamic Boarding School, namely formal education programs including Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) and Madrasah Tsanawiyah (MTs), non-formal education in the form of diniyah education for 6 years for SD/MI graduates and 3-year program for graduates MTs. The social program includes preaching and social activities of students. One of the factors supporting the implementation of the education system in the Salafiyah Syafi'iyah Islamic Boarding School which is urgent and important is the building. From year to year, Salafiyah Syafi'iyah Islamic Boarding School experienced a development starting with buying land or land until now it has become a building that can be occupied and to study Islam. The inhibiting factor in the implementation of the Salafiyah Syafi'iyah Islamic Boarding School is the most urgent matter in terms of dormitory because, with the increasing number of students, a large place for students to live or live is needed.

Early childhood education is the first and foremost education to shape the child's character better in the future. Recognized or not, currently the quality of education Indonesia is still low, whereas the quality of education greatly determines the quality of potential human resource formation. In the context of learning in early childhood, still found a conventional and teacher-centered learning. Teachers are more active than children, so children are not given the opportunity to reproduce ideas, concepts and thoughts by itself. In addition, the introduction of the environment both in the classroom and outside the class has not been given maximally, if there are very limited with the same method. Still the discovery of teachers who have not been able to take advantage of the surrounding environment, both animals, plants and natural events that exist in the environment around the school to serve as part of children's learning. This of course resulted in the weakness of children in opinion, finding ideas, creative thinking, finding something, and children have not shown the talent of natural intelligence well. To that end, the teacher can develop his expertise through various intelligent efforts that can develop children's ability to develop through better strategies and learning approaches.

This study tries to examine the transformation of education in Islamic BoardingSchool of Hasan Jufri, Sangkapura, Bawean, Gresik. The results of this study revealthat the role of Kiai’s leadership is very significant in education transformation.To respond to the contemporary challenges, Kiai conducts the process oftransformation by establishing a formal education institution. In addition, theprocess of transformation also requires the transformation of educational systemsamong such as redefining goals, curriculum, methods, as well as providing thenecessary facilities. However, the educational transformation held in IslamicBoarding School of Hasan Jufri also brings about some implications, both negativeand positive. Curriculum 2013 has been implemented in targeted schools in order to improve the quality of education in Indonesia, starting from elementary school to high school level. However, in implementation, until now there has no teaching materials of physics subjects that can be used as a guide learning in school, especially to apply scientific approach. Therefore, in order to improve the quality of education in secondary schools in Padang, in general, this study aims to improve the quality of education, especially in senior high school physics in Padang. Specifically targets to be achieved through this research is to develop teaching materials based on scientific approach in an effort to improve students' thinking skills and understanding of the concepts of high school physics for implemented of curriculum 2013. In practice, research began identifying problems in school, then design an scientific approach based teaching materials. To test validity of scientific approach is based teaching materials then conducted of development research (R &amp; D, four D models ) with the defining phases are define, design, development , and disseminate. Based on the results of the validation of teaching materials created, generally result is good categorize. So that the teaching material has been designed can be used in senior high school.

As the capital of the province, education in the Makassar supposed to be better than other cities in the province of South Sulawesi. In fact, the quality of education is still far from expectation. So was the result of the theacher’s competence test. Likewise, teacher competency test result, data on the Department of Education in Makassar to participants of UKG in Makassar is the average value of fewer than 50. In fact, there are teachers who receive 30 from 100 questions in the exam. The condition is not in line with the role of the teacher that is crucial in improving the quality of education. Therefore, it is very important to improve the performance of teachers in all junior high school in Makassar in order to improve the quality of education with the problems of this research consist of (i) how is the performance of the teachers on all State secondary schools in Makassar?  This research aims at (i) finding out the teachers’ performance on all State secondary schools in Makassar; The results show that (i) the teachers’ performance on all State secondary schools in Makassar are on the good category.   Sebagai Ibukota Propinsi seharusnya Pendidikan di Kota Makassar  lebih baik jika disbanding kabupaten/kota lain di Propinsi Sulawesi Selatan tetapi kenyataannya kualitas pendidikan masihjauh dari harapan. Demikian juga hasil Uji Kompetensi Guru, data Dinas PendidikanKota Makassar untuk peserta UKG di Kota Makassar, yakni rata-rata nilai di bawah lima puluh. Bahkan,ada guru yang mendapatkan nilai tiga puluh dari seratus soal dalam naskah ujian.Kondisi tersebut tidak sejalan dengan peran guru yang sangat penting dalam peningkatan kualitas pendidikan.sangat penting meningkatkan kinerja guru se-Kota Makassar dalam upaya meningkatkan kualitas  pendidikan. Oleh karena itu rumusan masalah dalam penelitian  ini adalah (i) Bagaimanakah kinerja guru-guru SMP Negeri se-Kota Makassar? Tujuan penelitian ini adalah (i) Untuk mengetahui kinerja guru-guru SMP Negeri se-Kota Makassar  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan (i) kinerja guru SMP Negeri se-Kota Makassar berkategori baik.

The head of the madrasa is a leader who has a big responsibility to be able to improve the quality of education in an educational institution. The quality of the institution's education will be able to improve if the head of the madrasa is able to carry out tasks and work properly in accordance with the principal functions of leadership. The leadership function that must be possessed by the head of the madrasa includes Idealism, intellectual, caring and charisma. Improving the quality of education is one of the efforts that can be made to develop human resources for national development. The quality of education in the West Java Police State Police School is still low, it is presumably caused by the application and update the curriculum and teaching materials that have not been optimal. Based on the above, the researcher conducting research on aspects that affect the quality of education, especially from the aspect of curriculum and teaching materials.The methodology used is descriptive verification by using the technique of path analysis (path analysis) in order to know the effect of direct and indirect influence to get the coefficient of determination.The results showed that the quality of education in the West Java Police State Police School is directly affected by the curriculum of 18.83% and is affected by the indirect influence of 10.75%, as well as that quality of education is affected directly by the teaching materials by 16.81% so total effect determination coefficient of 57.14%.The conclusion of this study that the quality of education in the West Java Police State Police School is influenced by the curriculum and teaching materials, and influenced by other educational components that are
