Affect of Employee Authority on Job Expiation: An Empirical Investigation of Banks in India

The aim of this analyze is to find out the relationship among employee authority and job expiation in Banks in New Delhi. This analyze also analyzes the difference among Job expiation level of male and female employees. The form comprising forty eight statements was employed for collection of data and was distributed among 180 employees of Banks in New Delhi. The t-test, ANOVA and regression analysis pointed that employee authority has positive and important impact on job expiation. The consequences also confirmed that no substantial difference among male and female employees exist job expiation level.

This chapter presents the relationship and impact of employee empowerment on organizational trust. The purpose of this study is to analyze the relationship between employee empowerment and organizational trust in the IT industry. This study examines the difference between the empowerment level and organizational level of male and female employees. The questionnaire employed in this study consisted of empowerment by A. K. Mishra and G. M. Spreitzer and organizational trust variables by P. Mishra. The sample for the study consisted of 475 IT professionals from five IT organizations. Simple random sampling was used as a sampling technique, and this study was an ex-post in nature. Data were analyzed using t-test, correlation, and multiple regression. The result revealed that employee empowerment had a positive and significant impact on organizational trust. There is no significant difference in the empowerment of IT industry employees. It means that both male and female employees were equally empowered in their jobs. Male employees are more trust in their jobs as compared to female employees.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between sexual harassment and job satisfaction in one of the China’s retailing company. A total of 103 respondents from one of the China’s retailing company are selected as respondents and thus data is analyzed based on the completed questionnaires. Sexual Experiences Questionnaire (SEQ) and Job Satisfaction Survey are employed as measurement tools to measure the sexual harassment and job satisfaction of employees separately. Descriptive analysis, correlations analysis and multiple regression analysis are utilized to analyze the collected data. The main findings revealed that sexual harassments, verbal conduct of sexual harassments and physical conduct of sexual harassments have a significant and negative relationship with job satisfaction and the non-verbal conduct of sexual harassment is not significantly related to the job satisfaction. The dominant element of sexual harassment is physical conduct of sexual harassment affecting on job satisfaction mostly among female employees in the organization. In addition, it is also found that the moderate level of sexual harassment creates a low level of job satisfaction in the organization. Furthermore, the dominant sexual harasser is often a colleague, followed by a superior, customer and others. Several recommendations are suggested for the company and for future researches.

This research aims to know and analyze the effect of application of control valve Cooler 1 Based On atmega 2560 microcontroller for Moisture feed after mixing with bagging off at PT. JAPFA comfeed Indonesia, Tbk. Unit Padang. The type of research used is the study of surveys with the analysis of data used i.e. simple linear regression analysis. Based on the results of the study, testing of normality obtained the significance value of 0.200 with normal categories and R square test results worth 29.4%. The results of simple linear regression test partially with T test, Mempertlihatkan that the application of the control valve Cooler 1-Base atmega 2560 microcontroller system significantly affects the after-mixing Moisture feed with bagging off. The interpretation is that each temperature reduction of the resulting control valve cooler 1 Microcontroller-Based atmega 2560 in one unit affects the difference of moisture feed after mixing with a bagging off of 2.425.

The aim of the present study was to focus on the relationship of Spirituality with Depression, Anxiety and Stress of Yoga practitioners. The sample of 40 male and 40 female yoga practitioners from Hubli-Dharwad constituted the sample for study. The DASS and FACIT Spirituality scales were administered. The results revealed a Significant relationship existing between Spirituality and Depression (r=-.54; P<.01), Spirituality and Anxiety ( r=-.28; P<.01) Spirituality and Stress ( r=-57;P<.01). Further Regression analysis revealed the significant contribution of factors like reading journal monthly, marital status and income to Anxiety, journal reading, Marital status, visiting websites of Yoga and income significantly contributed to Depression and finally reading journal, income contributed to Stress of Male and Female Yoga practitioner. The social implications of findings are discussed.

Abstrak: Kecemasan adalah suatu sinyal yang menyadarkan, ia memperingatkan bahaya yang mengancam dan memungkinkan seseorang mengambil tindakan untuk mengatasi ancaman. Angka kejadian dari kecemasan perioperative diketahui 11% - 80% diantara pasien dewasa. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui perbedaan proporsi pasien laki-laki dan perempuan pre operasi laparatomi yang mengalami kecemasan, dan mengetahui perbedaan tingkat kecemasan pasien laki-laki dan perempuan pre operasi laparatomi. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian analitik dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Pengambilan sampel dengan teknik non probability sampling yaitu consecutive sampling. Metode pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan kuesioner  Hamilton Anxiety Scale (HARS). Penelitian dilakukan pada 32 responden di RSUP Prof.dr.R.D.Kandou Manado pada bulan november sampai desember 2012. Analisis data menggunakan uji statistik yaitu independent sampel T-Test. Hasil penelitian didapatkan responden laki-laki, tidak cemas (40%), cemas ringan (26,67%), cemas sedang (33,33%), sedangkan pada responden perempuan diperoleh hasil, tidak cemas (23,53%), cemas ringan (17,65%), cemas sedang (35,29%), cemas berat (23,53%). Berdasarkan uji statistik nilai P-value sebesar 0,024, berarti H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima, artinya ada perbedaan tingkat kecemasan antara pasien laki-laki dan perempuan pre operasi laparatomi. Kata kunci: Kecemasan, laparatomi, laki-laki, perempuan.     Abstract: Anxiety is a signal that disenchants; warns threatening dangers and gives someone the chance to take action in order to overcome the incoming threats. The incidence of perioperative anxiety has been reported with range 11% to 80% among adult patients. The study objective is to determine the difference in proportion between male and female pre-laparotomy surgery patients who experience anxiety, and know the difference in the level of anxiety of male and female pre-laparotomy surgery patients. This observation is an analytic study with cross sectional approach. The sampling technique is by using non probability sampling; which is consecutive sampling. The data colletion method is by using questionnaire, Hamilton Anxiety Scale (HARS). The observation was done toward 32 respondents in Prof.dr.R.D.Kandou General Hospital from November to December 2012. The data analysis is by using statistical test; independent sample T-test. The observation among male respondents  results in without anxiety (40,%), with mild anxiety (26,67%), with moderate anxiety (33.33%), while among female respondents results in without anxiety (23.53%), with mild anxiety (17.65%), with moderate anxiety (35.29%), and with severe anxiety (23.53%). According to the statistical test, resulting in P-value of 0.024, that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. In conclusion, there are differences in the level of anxiety between male and female pre-laparotomy surgery patient. Keyword: anxiety, laparotomy, male, female.

This study aims to examine spending patterns in the millennial generation in Surabaya. Respondents of this study were the millennial generation who were divided into two age groups, namely 21-28 years old, who were referred to as junior millennials, and those aged 29-36 years who were referred to as senior millennials. The analysis technique used is a crosstab to examine the relationship between age and spending pattern of the millennial generation and an independent-sample t-test to test the difference between the spending pattern of the junior millennials and senior millennials. This study showed a significant relationship between age and spending pattern on the millennial generation, and there is a significant difference between the spending pattern of the junior millennials and senior millennials.

Human error is the main cause of blister product quality deviation at PT. XXX, which lead by personnel factor and work method. The research intends to analyze the relationship between personnel qualification level (blister production team), number of blister product and production length (Z blister machine), with blister product deviation at PT. XXX (2015-2017). The research was a descriptive-observational study (retrospective) by linier regression analysis using 2 variables and multi variable. The t-test analysis result between personnel qualification level and blister product deviation, p=0.041 (p<0.05) showed a significant relationship between those variables. The t-test analysis result between number of blister product and blister product deviation, p=0.164 (p>0.05) showed that there is no significant relationship between those variables. The result of t-test between production length (Z blister machine) and blister product deviation, p=0.542 (p>0.05) showed that there is no significant relationship between those variables. The F-test analysis result showed a significant relationship between personnel qualification level (blister production team), number of blister product and production length (Z blister machine) with blister product deviation (p=0,000; p<0.05).

<p class="JurnalASSETSABSTRAK"><strong>ABSTRACT</strong></p><p>This study aims to examine the effect of the self-assessment system on tax evasion and the effect of intrinsic religiosity moderation on the relationship between the self-assessment system and tax evasion. This study also differences in the influence of gender on the effect of the self-assessment system on tax evasion. This research method uses moderated regression analysis (MRA) and an independent sample t-test. The results show that the self-assessment system had a negative effect on tax evasion. Meanwhile, intrinsic religiosity does not moderate the relationship between the self-assessment system and tax evasion. There are no gender differences at the level of the self-assessment system, intrinsic religiosity, and tax evasion.</p><p class="JurnalASSETSABSTRAK"><strong><em>ABSTRAK</em></strong><em></em></p><p><em>Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh self-assessment system terhadap tax evasion dan efek moderasi religius intrinsik pada hubungan self-assessment system dengan tax evasion. Penelitian ini juga menganalisis perbedaan gender pada tingkat self-assessment system, religius intrinsik dan tax evasion. The water activity (Aw) and moisture content (MC) data of floral honey at five temperatures were determined using the Aw method and it was found that temperature significantly affected the Aw/MC data. The linear equation could be used to express the relationship between Aw and MC of honeys. The empirical regression equations between parameters and temperature were established. To evaluate the factors affecting the Aw/MC data, we used categorical tests of regression analysis to assess the effect of the correlation between Aw and MC of honey and examined the factors affecting the regression parameters. Six datasets from five countries were selected from the literature. The significance of the levels of qualitative categories was tested by t-test. The slope of the relationship between Aw and MC was affected by the state of honey (liquid and crystallized). The intercepts were significantly affected by honey type (flower or honeydew), harvesting year, geographical collection site, botanical source and other factors. The outliers in the datasets significantly affected the results. With modern regression analysis, useful information on the correlation between Aw and MC could be found. The results indicated that no universal linear equation for Aw and MC could be used. The Aw value could be used as a criterion for the honey industry; then, the MC of honey could be calculated by the specific linear equation between Aw and MC.

The present investigation is to the find out the difference in the Mental Health & Job Satisfaction of bank employees. The sample consisted of 120 employees out of which 60 were male & 60 were female employees. For this purpose of investigation mental health check list by Dr. Mithila & Job Satisfaction test by Dr Ojha was used. The data obtained were analyzed through ‘t’ test to know the mean difference between the two groups then ANOVA.
