Pengembangan E-Modul Hidrokarbon Berbasis Pendekatan Saintifik dengan Pertanyaan Probing dan Prompting untuk Kelas XI SMA/MA

Currently the 2013 curriculum applies scientific approach in learning activities to develop self-potential by sharpening the mindset of students to be more active and creative. To realize these goals, learning methods and media must be carefully selected. This research will produce an e-module based on a scientific approach with probing and prompting questions for hydrocarbon material. The probing and prompting questions are used to familiarize students with answering questions so that the development of students' thinking patterns can be maximized. Research Development (R D) is a type of research that is used with 4-D as a development model.  The 4-D stages include: define, design, develop and disseminate. The disseminate stage was not carried out due to time and cost limitations. The research was only carried out until the develop stage, namely the validity and practicality test. Validity and practicality sheets were used as data collection instruments. The e-module validation was carried out by 5 validators, while the practicality of the e-module was carried out by 3 chemistry teachers and 30 students of SMAN 12 Padang. The research data processing used the Kappa Cohen formula. The e-module validity values obtained were 0.87 and the practicality values by teachers and students were 0.88 and 0.83.  Based on these three values, the hydrocarbon e-module based on a scientific approach with probing and prompting questions is declared valid and practically used in the learning process. Saat ini kurikulum 2013 menerapkan tahapan saintifik dalam kegiatan pembelajaran  untuk mengembangkan potensi diri dengan mengasah pola pikir siswa menjadi lebih aktif dan kreatif. Untuk mewujudkan tujuan tersebut, metode dan media pembelajaran harus dipilih dengan cermat. Penelitian ini akan menghasilkan e-modul berbasis pendekatan saintifik dengan pertanyaan probing dan prompting untuk materi hidrokarbon. Pertanyaan probing dan prompting digunakan untuk membiasakan siswa dalam menjawab pertanyaan sehingga pengembangan pola pikir siswa dapat dioptimalkan. Research development (R D) merupakan jenis penelitian yang digunakan dengan 4-D sebagai model pengembangannya. Tahapan 4-D meliputi: define, design, develop dan disseminate. Tahap disseminate tidak dilakukan karena keterbatasan waktu dan biaya. Penelitian hanya dilakukan sampai tahap develop, yaitu uji validitas dan praktikalitas. Lembar validitas dan praktikalitas digunakan sebagai instrumen pengumpulan data. Validasi e-modul dilakukan oleh 5 orang validator, sedangkan praktikalitas e-modul dilakukan oleh 3 orang guru kimia dan 30 orang siswa SMAN 12 Padang. Pengolahan data penelitian menggunakan formula Kappa Cohen. Nilai validitas e-modul yang didapatkan sebesar 0,87 dan nilai praktikalitas oleh guru dan siswa sebesar 0,88 dan 0,83. Berdasarkan ketiga nilai tersebut, maka e-modul hidrokarbon berbasis pendekatan saintifik dengan pertanyaan probing dan prompting dinyatakan valid dan praktis digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran.

The purpose of this study is to create students’ worksheet based on characters through scientific approach of statistical fluid material, to examine the feasibility of worksheet according for experts, teachers and students, to investigate the effectiveness of  the development of students' character and skills of the students in doing practical work after using worksheet. This research uses design R & D with model Dick and Carey. The research procedure includes four stages, which is analizing, designing, creating, and evaluating stage. The feasibility of worksheet was examined using a questionaire. Based on the result questionaire validity tested by the experts, the worksheet was declared to be valid and it is apliable to be used and tested,, whereas the response of the teachers and students about the worksheet, it stated that the worksheet categorized as a very good one. Meanwhile the data of character development and students skill on doing practical work that gained from the observation sheet. Analysis of the character development shows that the character of the students are in the category began to evolve become as a habit (culture of the students), while the influence of worksheet to the students’ skill on doing practical are in good criteria.

The purpose of this study was to describe (1) increasing the ability to write persuasion text with the modeling techniques of eighth grade students of SMPN L. Sidoharjo, Musi Rawas Regency and (2) Increasing student learning activities in writing persuasive text with modeling techniques for VIII students of SMPN L. Sidoharjo, Musi Regency Rawas. This study uses a Classroom Action Research (CAR) procedures. This research was conducted in two cycles. Each cycle is designed and carried out by steps (1) planning, (2) action, (3) observation, and (4) reflection. The source of the data of this study was the eighth grade students of SMP N L. Sidoharjo in the 2018/2019 academic year, while the research data were in the form of persuasion texts written by students. Then the data is analyzed using the average formula and the results are consulted in the qualification table. The results showed that the ability to write persuasion texts students experienced an average increase in cycle 1 of 67.98 which included in the category of enough, increased to 77, 76 in the second cycle included in the good category. The increase was also followed by an increase in student activity in learning to write persuasion texts which included activeness and direct involvement in observing, answering questions and writing persuasion texts from moderately active to active.

The purpose of this research is to describe and analyze how the scientific approach and the development of students' scientific attitude in the thematic content of 2013 curriculum implementation. This type of research is qualitative research. Data are collected by using observation, interview, and documentation. This study intends to gain an understanding of the relevant facts about the application of the scientific approach to develop students' scientific attitude in the thematic teaching subject. The results of this research showed that the State Elementary School Demangan (SDN) of Yogyakarta has begun to implement 2003 curriculum in the grade 1 and 4 since 2014 to date, but the implementation has stopped in 2015 because the curriculum 2013 has slightly changed. The process of learning in the classroom is currently running quite well. Teachers provide feedback well, develop student curiosity, discussion, give positive reinforcement, appreciation and also reflection together that ended by the conclusion. The students' scientific attitude that appears is a high curiosity characterized by the emergence of questions containing curiosity, their responsibilities in completing tasks, their efforts to discuss group and presentation in front of the class, respect for others, cooperation, courage, critical thinking and open. The learning activities are implicated in the implementation stage of the scientific approach. Finally, the implementation of the curriculum 2013 approach essentially develops students' scientific attitude, not only on the content of science but also other content, known as the thematic content.

Students worksheet scientific approach is a teaching material that contains material that teaches students to experiment by following the steps based on the scientific method. The scientific method is observed, ask, gather information, associate, and communicate. The results of observation, interview with the teachers and students found that the teacher uses the revised version of the 2013 Curriculum’s handbook of natural science for grade VII. The books contain student activities cannot be done because of the limited media available in the school. So, the teacher must make student worksheets as complementary media for student activities. Constraints experienced by teachers in learning activities with the 2013 Curriculum include limited media such as electron microscope, mount, and surgical appliance for the subject of life organization system, etc. Teachers are predominantly applying scientific steps on students at the aspect of observing, questioning, and communicating, so that students’ knowledge and skill are less optimized. This study aims to determine the feasibility of student worksheets based on the VII class scientific approach. This type of research is Research and Development (R & D) with the Four D research model consisting. The sample used was Kalianget 2 Public Middle School. The result of the research showed that feasibility of Student Worksheets based on Scientific Approach obtained very feasible category, with the percentage feasibility material of 86.11% (very feasible category), feasibility format of the 85.42% (very feasible category), feasibility display of the 85.94% (category is very feasible).

The 2013 curriculum requires teachers to use a scientific approach in teaching-learning process. The scientific approach is in accordance with the steps of various learning models, one of which is guided discovery. The study aimed at developing guided discovery modules on material buffer solutions for class XI SMA /MA and determining the validity and practicality of the developed modules. The research type was Research and Development. The development model was 4-D models that consists of four steps: define, design, develop, and disseminate. The research was limited to. The instrument of the research was questionnaire a form that consist of validity and practicality sheets. The module was validated by 5 validators and module practicality was examined by 2 chemistry teachers and 34 students of grade XI MIA 1 at SMAN 12 of Padang. Validity and practicality data were analysed by using the kappa Cohen formula. The moment kappa average of 5  validators was 0.90 with highest validity category. The moment kappa average of teachers and students were 0.8 and 0.86 spelling with the high category. The result of the research showed that the module of buffer solutions based on guided discovery with multiple representations was valid and practice to be used on the learning of chemistry.

The purpose of this research is to describe the management of a character-based education curriculum in early childhood. The research uses a qualitative approach. The main source of this research data is the head of Raudhatul Athfal (RA), educator, and education officer, foundation administrator, and student guardian in RA Hidayatut Tauhid Losari Lor Village, Losari District Cirebon Regency West Java. Data collection is conducted with interviews, documentation, and observations. The results of the study decrypt that: RA Hidayatut Tauhid implemented the 2013 curriculum and the characteristic curriculum; the process of preparing the curriculum of RA Hidayatut Tauhid involves the head of Raudhatul Athfal, educators and education personnel, and the community; the content of the curriculum developed is to achieve a vision of instilling the personality of children who are intelligent, creative, independent and Islamic character that is organized according to the achievements contained in the formulation of vision. All aspects of the character development of students are considered through the implications of achieving the objectives of educational institutions, the management of educational institutions that facilitate learning with concepts, methods, and media following the content of the curriculum, and the integration of the design of learning activities.

The purpose of this study is to describe the empowerment of learning media google meet as one of the remote learning tools that can increase the motivation of students' learning during the covid-19 pandemic. This research is a descriptive quarative research. Data collection techniques are conducted with observations, interviews, and questionnaires on the use of Google Meet media. This research was conducted in grade V of SDN Minggiran I, Kediri Regency. Data analysis techniques are performed with Milles & Huberman interactive analysis. The results showed that the application of Google Meet media in distance learning activities during the covid-19 pandemic had a positive impact on students' learning motivation. This shows that Google Meet media provides benefits for teachers and students because of the teaching and learning process that can interact directly so as to make online learning more practical and effective. This direct interaction also increases the involvement and activeness of students during online learning during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Researchers have an interest in learning in the 2013 curriculum, which discusses the scientific approach. This research was conducted at elementary School of Jatidukuh Mojokerto class II. The purpose of this study is to determine the planning, process, and assessment of learning with a scientific approach as well as the constraints in learning activities.. This study uses qualitative, data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and documentation. Analysis of the data in this study used the field model of Miles and Huberman (1992). The results of this study are (1) teachers do not prepare their own lesson plans, (2) the implementation of learning has not been maximized, (3) learning has not been carried out in accordance with the lessons discussed in the 2013 curriculum. The constraints faced by both teachers and students are (1) limited time, (2) lack of understanding of the scientific approach, (3) limited learning resources, and (4) the use of conventional learning that is difficult to eliminate because it is not used. Therefore there is a need for monitoring from the school principal to be able to improve the ability of teachers in teaching.

AbstrakBanyaknya sosial media yang bermunculan dan juga pembelajaran sekolah yang semakin berkembang mengharuskan mengikuti kemajuan teknologi yang ada, memunculkan kesempatan untuk mengoptimalkan kehadiran media baru sebagai media komunikasi, sehingga kemudian memunculkan pertanyaan. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menjelaskan tentang bagaimana para guru sebagai pengguna media baru untuk mengefektifkan cara berkomunikasi di dalam kegiatan pembelajaran selama masa Pandemi Covid-19. Metode penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru sebagai fasilitator informasi mampu membangun komunikasi daring yang efektif. Komunikasi efektif yang dimaksud adalah komunikasi yang senantiasa terjalin antara guru dan siswa sehingga nantinya dapat menimbulkan perubahan sikap atau karakter ke arah yang lebih baik bagi siswa. Ketepatan informasi menjadi kunci dalam menciptakan komunikasi yang efektif. Hal ini terjadi jika persamaan pengertian, sikap dan bahasa. Pesan atau informasi dapat diterima dan dimengerti serta dipahami sebagaimana yang dimasud oleh komunikator (guru). Pesan yang disampaikan dapat disetujui oleh komunikan siswa.Kata-kata kunci: Covid-19; efektivitas; komunikasi; media baru; pemanfaatan.  AbstractThe large number of social media that have sprung up and also school learning that is increasingly developing requires following existing technological advances, giving rise to opportunities to optimize the presence of new media as a medium of communication, thus raising questions. The purpose of this study is to explain how teachers, as users of new media, make effective communication methods in learning activities during the Covid-19 Pandemic. This research method is descriptive research. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews. The results showed that teachers as information facilitators were able to build effective online communication. Effective communication is meant by communication that is always established between teachers and students so that later it can lead to changes in attitudes or characters for the better for students. Accuracy of information is the key to creating effective communication. This happens if the same understanding, attitude and language. Messages or information can be received and understood and understood as intended by the communicator (teacher). The message conveyed can be approved by the communicant student.Keywords: Covid-19; effectiveness; communication; new media; utilization.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan modul pengajaran Kimia berbasis Ilmiah untuk Hidrolisis Garam. Modul ini dibuat dengan menggunakan langkah-langkah pendekatan ilmiah yang terdiri dari mengamati, mempertanyakan, mengumpulkan data, bergaul dan berkomunikasi. Pendekatan model Ploomp digunakan dalam penelitian ini yang terdiri dari Define; Desain; Mengembangkan; dan Diseminasi. Modul ini divalidasi oleh delapan validator, dan dicicipi oleh tiga guru kimia dan siswa kelas XI IPA di tiga sekolah. Hasil analisis validitas data yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa modul yang dihasilkan memenuhi kriteria valid dilihat dari aspek konten, grafik, konstruk, dan bahasa. Hasil kepraktisan modul dari siswa dan guru terlihat dari waktu penggunaan dan kemudahan implementasi. Efektivitas modul ini dapat dilihat dari aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa, aktivitas siswa dari ketiga sekolah tersebut selama proses Pembelajaran sangat efektif. Hasil belajar dari ketiga sekolah di kelas eksperimen menggunakan modul ini lebih tinggi dari kelas kontrol yang tidak kita modul. Hasil belajar diuji dengan pengujian hipotesis dari analisis data diperoleh bahwa that thitung > ttabel, di SMA Negeri 1 Gunung Talang dengan thitung bernilai 4,29 dan ttabel bernilai 1,68,  di SMA Negeri 1 Kubung, thitung 2,27 dan  ttabel 1,68 serta di SMA Negeri 1 Bukit Sundi, thitung  4,24 dan thitung 1,67 sehingga asumsi H0 tidak diterima dan H1 diterima pada tingkat kepercayaan 0,05. Ini membuktikan bahwa ada perbedaan yang signifikan dalam hasil belajar siswa antara kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Berdasarkan hasil itu, dapat disimpulkan bahwa Modul Pembelajaran Kimia berdasarkan pendekatan ilmiah dalam pelajaran hidrolisis garam kelas XI SMA / MA yang dihasilkan dapat dinyatakan sebagai praktik yang valid dan efektif.   This research was aimed at developing Scientific based Chemistry instructional modules for Salt Hydrolysis. The module is made by using scientific approach steps which consist of observing, questioning, collecting data, associating and comunicating. A Ploomp model approach was utilized in this study which consisted of Define; Design; Develop; and Disseminate. The module was validated by eight validators, and was tasted to three chemistry teachers and students of class XI IPA in three schools. The result of data validity analysis that was obtained showed that the module which was produced fulfilled valid criteria seen from the aspects of content, graphics, construct, and language. The module practicality result from students and teachers was practical seen from usage time and the implementation easiness. The effectiveness of this module can be seen from activity ad student’s learning result, the activity of students from those three school during Learning process was very effective. The learning result of those three schools in experiment class using this module was higher than control class which did not us the module. The learning result was tested with hypothesis testing from data analysis it was obtained that tcount > ttable, to SMA Negeri 1 Gunung Talang tcount 4,29 and ttable 1,68, in SMA Negeri 1 Kubung, tcount 2,27 and ttable 1,68 and SMA Negeri 1 Bukit Sundi, tcount 4,24 and tcount 1,67 that H0 was rejected and H1 was accepted in the real level 0,05. This proved that there was a significant distinction in student’s learning result between experiment class and control class. Based on that result, it can be concluded that Chemistry Learning Module based on scientific approach in salt hydrolisis lesson of class XI SMA/MA that was produced can be stated valid practice and effective one.
