AbstrakBanyaknya sosial media yang bermunculan dan juga pembelajaran sekolah yang semakin berkembang mengharuskan mengikuti kemajuan teknologi yang ada, memunculkan kesempatan untuk mengoptimalkan kehadiran media baru sebagai media komunikasi, sehingga kemudian memunculkan pertanyaan. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menjelaskan tentang bagaimana para guru sebagai pengguna media baru untuk mengefektifkan cara berkomunikasi di dalam kegiatan pembelajaran selama masa Pandemi Covid-19. Metode penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru sebagai fasilitator informasi mampu membangun komunikasi daring yang efektif. Komunikasi efektif yang dimaksud adalah komunikasi yang senantiasa terjalin antara guru dan siswa sehingga nantinya dapat menimbulkan perubahan sikap atau karakter ke arah yang lebih baik bagi siswa. Ketepatan informasi menjadi kunci dalam menciptakan komunikasi yang efektif. Hal ini terjadi jika persamaan pengertian, sikap dan bahasa. Pesan atau informasi dapat diterima dan dimengerti serta dipahami sebagaimana yang dimasud oleh komunikator (guru). Pesan yang disampaikan dapat disetujui oleh komunikan siswa.Kata-kata kunci: Covid-19; efektivitas; komunikasi; media baru; pemanfaatan.  AbstractThe large number of social media that have sprung up and also school learning that is increasingly developing requires following existing technological advances, giving rise to opportunities to optimize the presence of new media as a medium of communication, thus raising questions. The purpose of this study is to explain how teachers, as users of new media, make effective communication methods in learning activities during the Covid-19 Pandemic. This research method is descriptive research. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews. The results showed that teachers as information facilitators were able to build effective online communication. Effective communication is meant by communication that is always established between teachers and students so that later it can lead to changes in attitudes or characters for the better for students. Accuracy of information is the key to creating effective communication. This happens if the same understanding, attitude and language. Messages or information can be received and understood and understood as intended by the communicator (teacher). The message conveyed can be approved by the communicant student.Keywords: Covid-19; effectiveness; communication; new media; utilization.

The demand of KKNI curriculum in the 21st century is about the equality of learning achievement covering attitudes and values, work ability, scientific mastery, authority and responsibility. For that, PGSD graduates of Sarjanawiyata Tamansiswa University (UST) Yogyakarta are expected to be able to design the learning activities, which is in line with the development of science, and technology, which is on the same time, are able to bring Indonesian cultural value into it. The graduates’ competence are presented in their abilities to develop elementary school learning activities based on the Science Environment Technology and Society (SETS) and integrate local wisdom into it. The purpose of this research is to describe the skills of critical thinking of PGSD students in developing SETS-based learning integrated with local wisdom and also along with the indicators that appear in each skill aspect. This is a type of quantitative descriptive research with non-test data collection techniques, observation, and documentation. While the main instruments are in the form of Student Worksheet (LKM), the observation sheet towards the indicators of critical thinking skills. Data analysis techniques is done by using descriptive statistics interpretation through several answering criteria: very good, good, fair, poor, and very poor which is then the results are presented in the form of tables. The results showed that the average critical thinking ability of PGSD UST students was 69.24% with can be categorized in good criteria. Indicator of every critical thinking skills aspect has appeared, even though some targets of achievements have not been optimally gained yet.

The pandemic Covid-19, which requires everyone, including students to do activities at home, it is easier because of technological advances. The most influential technology in education today is the Internet. The internet allows teachers to provide learning materials without having to meet in person. Teachers can upload learning materials for later access by students. Several internet-based applications and sites are also commonly used by teachers and students to hold face-to-face classes via Whatsapp video calls, Google Clasroom, Zoom Meetings and other online media. Apart from teaching and learning activities, internet-based technology can also be used to support student productive activities. Due to this work from home policy, student activities such as organizations, committees, clubs and so on are hampered. However, by utilizing internet-based applications and sites such as Google Meet, Zoom, Skype and so on, learning activities in the form of meetings and group discussions can run more optimally. Working on group assignments can be easier by using Google Doc where multiple students can edit a document together directly.

The aplication of learning of biology often deviates from the planning. The problem that comes is low students activities in learning, because not all students participate in learning. The couple card teams tournament (CCTT) learning model was developed to solve these problems, so that each student was actively involved in learning. The objective of this study is to describe the impact of the application of CCTT learning model on learning activities of students Class XII IPA 2 SMA Negeri 1 Merlung Tanjung Jabung Barat. This study was a descriptive research, the subjects were the 30 of class XII IPA 2 school year 2018/2019. Research data were collected through observation and documentation methods. The data were analyzed qualitatively through reduction and display of data, and make conclusions. The results showed that CCTT learning model was successfully applied in Class XII IPA 2, which is seen from the average of scores in answering other groups questions by 5,50, which means that each group answered 6 correct answers in each round. The application of this learning model has triggered biology learning activities of students, which can be seen that 25 students involved in learning, with average achievement of sub-indicators of learning activities up to 83.33% in the very active category. The results confirmed that CCTT learning model has a good impact on learning activities and was appropriate applied to triggered  students learning activities in subject of biology. Masalah yang muncul ialah aktivitas siswa yang rendah karena tidak semua siswa ikut serta dalam pembelajaran. Model pembelajaran couple card teams tournament (CCTT) dikembangan untuk menyelesaikan masalah tersebut, sehingga setiap siswa terlibat secara aktif dalam pembelajaran. Tujuan penelitian ini ialah untuk mengetahui dampak penerapan model pembelajaran CCTT terhadap aktivitas belajar siswa kelas XII IPA 2 SMA Negeri 1 Merlung Tanjung Jabung Barat. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan jumlah subjek penelitian sebanyak 30 orang siswa kelas XII IPA 2 tahun pelajaran 2018/2019. Data penelitian dikumpulkan melalui metode pengamatan dan dokumentasi. Data dianalisis secara kualitatif melalui tahapan reduksi data, sajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran CCTT berhasil diterapkan di kelas XII IPA 2, yang terlihat dari rata-rata capaian nilai siswa dalam menjawab pertanyan kelompok lain sebesar 5,50 yang artinya rata-rata setiap kelompok menjawab 6 jawaban benar dalam setiap putaran. Penerapan model pembelajaran CCTT dapat memicu aktivitas belajar siswa kelas XII IPA 2 pada mata pelajaran biologi, yang terlihat dari rata-rata 25 siswa terlibat dalam aktivitas pembelajaran, dengan rata-rata capaian sub-indikator aktivitas belajar hingga 83,33% dalam kategori sangat aktif. Hasil tersebut menegaskan bahwa model pembelajaran CCTT sangat baik diterapkan untuk memicu aktivitas belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran biologi. This paper reports a survey done that examined the relationship between the use of Facebook, WhatsApp, Twitter and YouTube on students’ academic performance in secondary schools. The study adopted the descriptive research design. The population of the study comprised all 7,767 teachers in secondary schools. The sample of 385 teachers was randomly selected. Two instruments were used. The data were analyzed using Pearson Product Movement Correlation Statistics (PPMCS) at 0.05 level of significant. The findings showed that the use of Facebook, WhatsApp, Twitter, and YouTube were significantly related to students’ academic performance of secondary schools. The study concluded that that the use of Facebook, WhatsApp, Twitter and YouTube among teachers and students had positive contributions to students’ academic performance of secondary schools. The findings implicate that the teachers and students in secondary schools should admire the use of social medial such as Facebook WhatsApp, Twitter, and YouTube as an interactive forum for teaching-learning activities.

This research is motivated by assumption that in maximizing student learning result it is deemed necessary to present new inovation in a learning process. This study was purposed to fully describe the role of inquiry learning strategies that have collaborated with other learning strategies or methods in maximizing learning result obtained by students of SMKN 02 KRAKSAAN. The implementation of strategies or learning methods is considered to be dominantly influential in improving student learning result. This research method uses descriptive research methods that are collaborative in qualitative form. The subject of this research are the teachers and students of SMKN 02 KRAKSAAN. Research data obtained from interviews, observations, and documentation. The result of this study showed an increase in the average student learning result by 15 points (documentation result) from the previous action (the implementation of inquiry learning strategies). Things that show the enormity of the influence given by inquiry learning strategies in maximizing student learning result.

The purpose of this study is to describe the empowerment of learning media google meet as one of the remote learning tools that can increase the motivation of students' learning during the covid-19 pandemic. This research is a descriptive quarative research. Data collection techniques are conducted with observations, interviews, and questionnaires on the use of Google Meet media. This research was conducted in grade V of SDN Minggiran I, Kediri Regency. Data analysis techniques are performed with Milles & Huberman interactive analysis. The results showed that the application of Google Meet media in distance learning activities during the covid-19 pandemic had a positive impact on students' learning motivation. This shows that Google Meet media provides benefits for teachers and students because of the teaching and learning process that can interact directly so as to make online learning more practical and effective. This direct interaction also increases the involvement and activeness of students during online learning during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Abstract: The purpose of this research was to describe the implementation of friendly school children in Muhammadiyah Alam Surya Mentari Elementary School of Surakarta. The research methods used qualitative method because the data presented are words. If seen from the problems studied, this research is a descriptive research. Data was collected by interviewing, observing, and documentation. Validate data with triangulation of sources and methods. The data in this research are information from principals, teachers and students at Muhammadiyah Alam Surya Mentari Elementary School of Surakarta The results of the research describe that in the new student Admission there is no special selection, especially in terms of academic for students who register, this school also proved to receive children with special needs, while in the process of learning teacher always use a variety of learning methods with interesting media and teachers evaluate at the end of the chapters and end sub themes, midterm exam, final exam, and tasks. For student practice, students are helped by a worksheet prepared by the teacher. The results of this research explained that Muhammadiyah Alam Surya Mentari Elementary School of Surakarta has completed the indikator that must be owned by Child Friendly School.

Currently the 2013 curriculum applies scientific approach in learning activities to develop self-potential by sharpening the mindset of students to be more active and creative. To realize these goals, learning methods and media must be carefully selected. This research will produce an e-module based on a scientific approach with probing and prompting questions for hydrocarbon material. The probing and prompting questions are used to familiarize students with answering questions so that the development of students' thinking patterns can be maximized. Research Development (R D) is a type of research that is used with 4-D as a development model.  The 4-D stages include: define, design, develop and disseminate. The disseminate stage was not carried out due to time and cost limitations. The research was only carried out until the develop stage, namely the validity and practicality test. Validity and practicality sheets were used as data collection instruments. The e-module validation was carried out by 5 validators, while the practicality of the e-module was carried out by 3 chemistry teachers and 30 students of SMAN 12 Padang. The research data processing used the Kappa Cohen formula. The e-module validity values obtained were 0.87 and the practicality values by teachers and students were 0.88 and 0.83.  Based on these three values, the hydrocarbon e-module based on a scientific approach with probing and prompting questions is declared valid and practically used in the learning process. Saat ini kurikulum 2013 menerapkan tahapan saintifik dalam kegiatan pembelajaran  untuk mengembangkan potensi diri dengan mengasah pola pikir siswa menjadi lebih aktif dan kreatif. Untuk mewujudkan tujuan tersebut, metode dan media pembelajaran harus dipilih dengan cermat. Penelitian ini akan menghasilkan e-modul berbasis pendekatan saintifik dengan pertanyaan probing dan prompting untuk materi hidrokarbon. Pertanyaan probing dan prompting digunakan untuk membiasakan siswa dalam menjawab pertanyaan sehingga pengembangan pola pikir siswa dapat dioptimalkan. Research development (R D) merupakan jenis penelitian yang digunakan dengan 4-D sebagai model pengembangannya. Tahapan 4-D meliputi: define, design, develop dan disseminate. Tahap disseminate tidak dilakukan karena keterbatasan waktu dan biaya. Penelitian hanya dilakukan sampai tahap develop, yaitu uji validitas dan praktikalitas. Lembar validitas dan praktikalitas digunakan sebagai instrumen pengumpulan data. Validasi e-modul dilakukan oleh 5 orang validator, sedangkan praktikalitas e-modul dilakukan oleh 3 orang guru kimia dan 30 orang siswa SMAN 12 Padang. Pengolahan data penelitian menggunakan formula Kappa Cohen. Nilai validitas e-modul yang didapatkan sebesar 0,87 dan nilai praktikalitas oleh guru dan siswa sebesar 0,88 dan 0,83. Berdasarkan ketiga nilai tersebut, maka e-modul hidrokarbon berbasis pendekatan saintifik dengan pertanyaan probing dan prompting dinyatakan valid dan praktis digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran.

This research on Philanthropy for The Financing of Educational Institutions in KB Al Hikmah Purworejo was conducted to find out about how philanthropy financing is carried out in kb AL Hikmah Purworejo. The method used in this article is a type of qualitative descriptive research. Data collection techniques are carried out with observations, interviews and documentation. The analysis techniques carried out are the presentation of data, and draw conclusions. The results of this study show that philanthropy financing is still needed in kb Al Hikmah institutions considering the needs of institutions that have not been able to be fully independent. With the philanthropy by the community also supports learning activities so that kb Al Hikmah institutions remained until now even in pandemic situations. Philanthropic activities financing by the community there are carried out routinely every month such as the addition of teacher salaries, payment of electricity and water accounts. So with the philanthropy financing of this institution is very helpful in the process of learning and improving the quality of early childhood education

There are several factors that are very influential in language, namely human cleverness in speaking skills, Maharah al-Kalam is the ability to express articulated sounds or words to express thoughts in the form of ideas, opinions, desires, or feelings to the interlocutor. In a broader sense, speaking is a system of signs that can be heard and seen which utilizes a number of muscles and muscle tissues of the human body to convey thoughts in order to fulfill their needs. In general, maharah al-kalam aims to be able to communicate properly and properly with the language they are learning. Moving on from the problem of learning disabilities that have a big impact on learning can certainly harm teachers and students in receiving the material. In learning Arabic, of course, you really need a lot of training to speak and memorize vocabulary so that there are no difficulties in learning Arabic. Students must also be active in learning. After that the student looked difficult when he spoke Arabic and spoke it and the accuracy of Arabic was not good, Apart from memorizing habitual vocabulary by the student, creating a supportive environment for practicing conversation. With a good language environment, speech can also be intertwined well. Regardless, there are many problems in learning to speak at MTs Riyadlatul ulum which make the lack of maximum learning in speaking skills, students' lack of speaking in speaking and speaking habits can also hinder the learning process to speak, unclear pronunciation and tarkibnya arrangement make the speaker and listener make it difficult. The population in this study were students of class VIII MTs Riyadlatul Ulum, using qualitative descriptive research. Data collection was carried out by means of interviews, observation and documentation. In the interview, to find out the problems that students have experienced and to get data about the factors that influence it, in the researchers' observations the researchers looked at the problems that appeared to students when in learning and documentation for evidence of research implementation.
