In today’s world, shopping on Instagram is quickly becoming the preferred way for consumers to not only learn about new brands and products on Instagram, but also purchase them in just a few simple steps.One of the top issues of online shopping is its security concerns.Online shopping fraud is one of a cybercrime which often occurs lately.  Fraudsters usually manipulate their victims through their language used. In order to manipulate their victim, a fraud should be able to use the speech function or linguistic function in the proper context of conversation to build trust of their victim. This study was aimed at investigating the speech function used by online shopping frauds on Instagram. This research was conducted in a qualitative research. The data were clauses consist of speech functions used by online shopping frauds on instagram. Five chats of online shopping fraudsters with their victims taken from Indonesia Online Shop Blacklist has taken as data sources by using purposive sampling. In order to identify the types of speech functions used by the fraudster, Halliday’s theory of Interpersonal Function was used. The findings showed that the types of speech functions found used by online shopping frauds in instagram are statement, question, command, and minor.  In which statement is more often used by fraudster in instagram, followed by command, question and minor. It indicates that the fraudster use statement for giving information about the product which they sell, they also tend to use statement to answer the questions from the consumer about their product, delivery process, payment method, etc.Keywords: Speech Functions, Fraudster, Instagram, Online Shopping, Discourse

This study is entitled Cohesion and Coherence in English Education Students’ Thesis. The aim of this study is to describe the cohesion and coherence as wholeness aspect of discourse in English Education students’ thesis. This study is a qualitative research. The data sources in this study are the thesis of three students that were obtained by purposive sampling. Furthermore, analysis of the data was done by identifying and classifying the data that related to cohesion, based on the theory of Halliday and Hasan (1976), and related to coherence, based on the theory of Oshima and Hogue (1991). From analysis, it was found four things related to cohesion and coherence. First, the use of grammatical cohesion devices in thesis, which consists of reference, substitution, ellipsis, and conjunction; and the use of lexical cohesion devices, which consists of reiteration and collocation, was used in thesis. Second, the violence of cohesion device was found in grammatical devices, such as reference and conjunctions. Third, the use of coherence devices, which consists of key nouns repetition, use of pronouns, transition signal, and logical order of chronology was found in students’ thesis. Fourth, the cause of the error coherence of thesis consists of keyword repetition errors, inconsistent pronouns, inappropriate transition signal, grammatical errors, and inappropriate punctuation.

This study aims to find out the legal position of the couriers in online shopping activities, especially in the payment method of COD (Cash on Delivery); the legal protection that can be given to the COD couriers; and the legal protection for the couriers who encounter buyers who default and refuse the goods they ordered. The method used in this research is the normative juridical method by examining library materials or secondary data sources, namely laws and regulations, books, and legal studies. Based on this method, the research was conducted using a statutory approach and a case approach. The results show that the legal position of the couriers in the online shopping with COD method of payment is as a recipient of a deposit, as a person who represents a freight forwarder in carrying out the power of attorney from the seller, and as a recipient of payment from the buyer. The legal protection that can be given to the couriers is ensuring that the couriers are not responsible for any discrepancy or damage to goods that are not caused by his mistake or negligence.

This article aims to describe: the implementation of the SQ3R model to the ability to examine the characters contained in fiction texts in grade IV students of SDN Ganung Kidul 1 Nganjuk in the 2019/2020 Academic Year. This article is an descriptive qualitative research carried out through five stages, namely: (1) data collection; (2) determination of the sample; (3) recording data; (4) reduction; and (5) drawing conclusions. Data sources in this article are journals and books relating to the learning of the SQ3R model on learning to examine the characters contained in fiction texts. These data provide an overview of the application of the SQ3R model on the ability to examine the characters contained in fictional texts. Furthermore, the object of the research is the learning model SQ3R with a subject of 22 students. The conclusion of the article shows that: this SQ3R model is very good to be applied to the basic competencies of Indonesian language class IV semester II, namely the ability to examine the characters contained in fiction texts.

The purpose of this research is to study and to analyze the pattern of tourist destinations to determine the excellence of attractions in each district in the Special Region of Yogyakarta, as a tourist attraction. This research uses qualitative research methods with sampling techniques using positive sampling. Data sources used are informants, tourist attractions, and documents. Determination of the advantages of a tourist attraction in a regency and even in the Special Region of Yogyakarta aims to increase the selling power or visitors of a tourist attraction and become an icon or mascot in the regency or region in Yogyakarta Special Region. From the results of the discussion, it was concluded that the most preeminent in the Yogyakarta Special Region was Tourism, Beach and Temple Villages. This study aims to get understanding on how the anxiety coping strategies of psychiatric nurses in handling patients who still feel anxious in the Intensive Service Unit (UPI). The method used in this study is a qualitative research by taking data based on the condition of natural objects. The study is conducted on psychiatric nurses in the Intensive Service Unit at Prof. Dr. Soerojo psychiatric Hospital in Magelang. The respondents of this study are taken from stratified purposive sampling that the writers take 2 female psychiatric nurses from female UPI and 3 male psychiatric nurses from Male UPI. Data are collected by observation and interview. The results show that the coping strategies that emerged from each subject differr one another, not all aspects of the coping strategy were used by the respondents. This means that by varying the coping strategies emerging from each respondent can be used as a reference as a study learned by individuals with the same conditions experienced by the respondents.

This research was conducted to analyze how modernization affects the implementation of public service administration policies, especially in Kediri, East Java. As is well known, from time to time various aspects of life are required to undergo changes to a more modern direction. The research method used is descriptive qualitative method. Descriptive qualitative research is aimed at obtaining an overview of how modernization affects public service administration policies in Kediri. To obtain the necessary data, the authors used a purposive sampling technique so that the sample taken was more focused, assisted by a review of several related previous studies. The results showed that modernization, especially in the field of technology, was sufficient to influence public service administration policies in Kediri.

SOLO Taxonomy is one of the frameworks used in analyzing the quality of responses in problem solving. This research aim to analyze the student’s responses level in doing problem solving item based on SOLO Taxonomy overviewed from motivation to learn. The research method used in this study was a qualitative research with the data sources of this study were 75 students period 2016/2017. The results of the study showed that student’s responses in doing problem solving wave concept at prestructural level is 62,17%, Unistructural Level is 27,63%, Multistructural level is 58,22%, Relasional level is 48,50%, and Extended Abstract level is 37,82%; Motivation to learn’s student high category are better at responding to answer item based SOLO Taxonomy than motivation to learn’s students low category.Keywords: Student’s reponses; SOLO Taxonomy; Motivation to Learn

The Influence of the Implementation of the Annual Entity E-SPT, Understanding Taxation, Tax Awareness Awareness of Taxpayer Compliance of the corporate taxpayers in reporting as the agency annual. In this study using quantitative data types and data sources, namely primary data. Primary data were obtained from questionnaires distributed to corporate taxpayers at random, using the purposive sampling method at the West Jakarta Middle Tax Office. The number of questionnaires distributed was 100 questionnaires. The results of this study indicate that the Application of the Annual Annual E-SPT of the Agency has a significant effect on taxpayer compliance and taxpayer awareness. While Understanding Taxation has no significant effect on Taxpayer Compliance.

ABSTRAK Tujuan penelitian ini mendeskripsikan pengaruh tahta tertinggi dan perlawanan kaum subaltern pada novel Arok Dedes karya Pramoedya Ananta Toer dengan menggunakan teori postkolonialisme Gayatri Spivak. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Pendekatan dalam penelitian ini  mengunakan pendekatan kualitatif karena dalam penelitian ini menggunakan sumber data novel Arok Dedes  yang berkisah tentang kudeta di Tanah Jawa. Data penelitian ini adalah kata, kalimat, paragraf, yang terdapat dalam novel Arok Dedes karya Pramoedya Ananta Toer dengan menggunakan teori poskolonial Ggayatri Spivak. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode dokumentasi atau pustaka. Teknik analisis data penelitian ini menggunakan teknik analisia deskriptif. The Impact

The solitory custom community of Suku Anak Dalam (SAD) is one of group society whose life are depend to the natural researches in the forest. It is needed an effort to provide service in order to meet their needed, especially health care service for improving their quality of life in the solitary custom Community of Suku Anak Dalam.  This research was conducted in order to know about the persepsion of SAD society towards Health Care Service in the Working Area of Puskesmas Pematang Kabau. This research was conducted on Januari until February 2017 for the purpose of getting understanding about persepsion of solitary custom Community of Suku Anak Dalam towards health care service, the number of participants were 15 people. This is qualitative research with purposive sampling method. The research instruments were indepth interview and interview guide. The result of the research analyzed by using Colaizzi Technique. The finding of the research showed five themes:  the reason of SAD Society in terms of receiving care service. Secondly, the respond of SAD society, thirdly, about the changing and the impact of SAD society. Fourth, the meaning of health care service to SAD society. And fifth the experience of SAD society towards health and service.SAD society gave respond about perception or possitive support towards Health Care Service.
