The purpose of the study is knowing the increase of students' skills in writing narrative texts through learning activities with the contextual teaching and learning model in class IV A at Kauman 1 Malang Elementary School. Field data shows that students still write with that tend not to be coherent, short stories, and wrong in using PUEBI. This study uses the PTK method (Classroom Action Research). The research subjects were 31 students of class IV A SDN Kauman 1 Malang. The research was conducted in two cycles. Data collection uses tests and observations. The results of the study were obtained from student observations when learning activities and narrative text writing tests. The data analysis used in this study are two, qualitative descriptive and quantitative descriptive.Cycle I shows that students' skills in writing narrative texts have increased from pre-cycle test results with a class average value of 71.97 increasing to 73.84 on the results of cycle I and 77.87 tests on cycle II test results with the percentage of students completing in one class starting at 35.48% on the pre-cycle test results to 51.61% on the results of the first cycle test and 74.19% on the results of the cycle II test. This article will describe learning to write auotobiografi text using Contextual Teaching and Learning approach. The method used in the research, namely the experiment with the design of One-Group Pretest-Postest. Technique of collecting data in the form of test, observation, and questionnaire. The population in the study of students of class XI SMK Nurul Islam Cianjur, with a sample of 22 students. From the results of the study known the average value of the initial test 60.45 and the average value of the final test 80.91. The result of calculation with t-test known value that is 11,41 and value for t.s 0,05 value t = 1,72 and for t.s 0,01 value t = 2.51. Thus, there is a significant difference between students' ability in learning to write autobiographic text before and after using Contextual Teaching and Learning approach. The difference seen in the final test results is higher than the initial test results. The use of Contextual Teaching and Learning approach also get positive response for students, this can be proved by the percentage of student answers for positive response is greater than negative response, that is 30% of students who choose strongly agree (SS)> 4% of students who choose strongly disagree (STS).Keywords: autobiographic text, contextual

This study aims to find out: (1) Describe the learning activities of students in social studies subjects using the CTL (Contextual Teaching And Learning) model with picture media. (2) Improving social studies learning outcomes using the CTL (Contextual Teaching and Learning) model with picture media. The type of research used by researchers is Classroom Action Research (CAR). With the subjects in this study were all fifth grade students of SDN 6 in the Lower Strait of Kuala Kapuas, totaling 17 students, 10 men and 7 women. Data collection techniques in this study used a written test at the end of the learning process and observation to find out the activity during the learning process. The data analysis technique uses qualitative and quantitative data analysis. The results of the study showed that: (1) Learning activities of students in social studies learning using the CTL (Contextual Teaching and Learning) model in class V of SDN 6 in the Lower Kapat Kuala Kapuas became good. In the first cycle, the activities of the students obtained a score of 36 with an average rating of 2.57 with quite good criteria. In Cycle II the activities of students received an average score of 53.5 with an average score of 3.82 with suitable measures. (2) There is an increase in learning outcomes of students in social studies learning using the CTL model (Contextual Teaching and Learning) in the fifth grade of SDN 6 in the Lower Straits of Kuala Kapuas. In the pre-test, it can be seen that the percentage of the results is 23.53% (4 people), the students who complete and the students who do not complete 70.48% (12 people) with an average value of 50. The results obtained in the first cycle are the percentage results learners reach 70.59% (12 people) students complete and 23.53% (5 people) students who do not complete with an average value of 72. In cycle II, the acquisition of student learning outcomes is 100% (17 people) who complete with an average score of 91. There is an increase in social studies learning outcomes from pre-test to cycle I which is as much as 47.06% while from cycle I to cycle II there is an increase in learning outcomes which is as much as 29.41%. It can be concluded that there is an increase in learning outcomes by using the CTL (Contextual Teaching and Learning) model in the fifth grade of SDN 6 in the Lower Strait of Kuala Kapuas.

This classroom action research aims to improve the mathematical communication skills at X grade student of SMA Negeri 2 Narmada Kab. Lombok Barat through cooperative learning type Think Pair Share (TPS) with Mr Math (Microsoft Mathematic). This research was conducted in 2 cycles, with the research subjects were students of class X2 of SMA Negeri 2 Narmada in the academic year 2016/2017 with a total of 24 students. From the research that has been carried out, it is found that the average value of the test of students' mathematical communication skills in the first cycle is 57.58 and the second cycle is 70.05. The percentage of classical completeness in the first cycle was 22.72% and the second cycle was 82.60%. This shows that students' mathematical communication skills have increased. The total average score of students' oral mathematical communication skills in the first cycle was 2.43 with a good enough category and the second cycle was 2.98 with a good category. This shows that students' verbal mathematical communication skills have increased and have reached the specified indicators. The total average score of observations of teaching and learning activities (KBM) in the first cycle was 2.70 with a good category and the second cycle was 3.15 with a good category. Thus, it can be concluded that the Think Pair Share (TPS) type of cooperative learning with Mr.Math can improve students' mathematical communication skills

To be able to learn something well, we need to hear, see, ask questions about it, and discuss it with others. Not only that, students need to "do it", which is describing something in their own way, showing examples, trying to practice skills and doing tasks that demand the knowledge they have gained. This research addressed the question: Is the Team Assisted Individualization model able to improve students’ learning outcomes in mathematics? While the purpose of this study was to find out how far the implementation of the Team Assisted Individualization model can improve Mathematics in the topic of Flat Surfaces learning outcomes in class IV B. This research uses two rounds of action research. Each round consists of four stages, namely: design, activity and observation, reflection, and revision. The target of this study is class IV B. The data obtained are in the form of formative test results, observation sheets of teaching and learning activities. From the results of the analysis it was found that student learning outcomes experienced an increase from the first cycle to the second cycle, namely, the first cycle (80.64) and the second cycle (87.09%) The conclusion of this study is that the Team Assisted Individualization model can have a positive effect on the learning outcomes of Jambi City Elementary School 47 students, and this learning model can be used as an alternative in mathematics learning.

This research is motivated by learning activities that occur in individuals which are complex behaviors. The research method used is action research by determining the steps: planning, action, observation, and reflection in each step using two cycles. The problem examined in this study is how to improve learning outcomes on the theme "Goals-My" with the method of contextual teaching and learning (CTL) in class IV public elementary school I  ( SD N ) Gergunung,  North KlatenThe results of the study from the first cycle only 76.57% or 19 students who scored above the KKM while 23.43% or 11 students got grades below the KKM. Because it has not yet reached the KKM, the researchers proceed to cycle II. In the second cycle there was a significant increase of 86.4% of students who have mastered the competencies that have been set. Out of 30 students, 25 students have met the specified KKM. From the results of the implementation of the first cycle and second cycle, it can be concluded that using the contextual teaching and learning method can improve the learning achievement of the theme "Goals" in the fourth grade students at  public elementary School  (SD N)  I Gergunung,  North Klaten .
