Introduction: The ageing process in older adults could cause a decreasing salivary secretion. Indicators of salivary secretion could be measured by observing an increasing salivary volume and pH, and a decreasing salivary viscosity. This study was aimed to observe the performance of 1% solution of baking soda on the salivary secretion of elderly xerostomia patients. Methods: The study used the quasi-experimental method with purposive sampling technique. The subjects were 24 older adults who were administered with 1% solution of baking soda. Results: The results showed that the averages volume, pH, and viscosity of the saliva before rinsing with 1% solution of baking soda were lower than after rinsing with the solution (p < 0.005). The average values of volume and pH of saliva before rinsing of 1% solution of baking soda were 0.15ml/min and 5.4, respectively, whilst after rinsing with the solution were 0.14ml/min and 7.42, respectively. The difference in saliva viscosity before and after rinsing with the solution showed that there were changes in the viscosity from frothy to watery. Conclusion: 1% solution of baking soda solution was able to increase the salivary secretion of elderly xerostomia patients, observed from an increasing salivary volume and pH, and a decreasing salivary viscosity after rinsing with 1% solution of baking soda.

This research aimed to discover the level of anxiety in students before the exam and the effect of music classic (Mozart) to reduce such anxiety. The study was conducted at SMP Negeri 1 Ciruas with students with a high level of anxiety, which has been revealed from the results of the anxiety scale questionnaire using a purposive sampling technique with a total of 68 respondents. This research was used with an experimental method consisting of an experimental group and a control group. From the treatment, the results showed pre-test 12.55 in the high category and post-test 7.852 in the medium category. This shows changes in the results before and after the treatment is given. It can be concluded that the effect of the use of music (Mozart) can reduce student anxiety before the test.

Stomatitis is an oral disease that often occurs in Indonesian residents. Green tea has long been known as an antimicrobial, green tea can inhibit the growth of various bacteria. The purpose of this study is the effect of green tea in curing thrush (stomatitis). This study uses a quasi-experimental method, sample selection using purposive sampling and data analysis is a descriptive analysis. Green tea is brewed with 50 ml of warm water for 2 minutes and then used to rinse his mouth. This research was conducted for 5 days 3 times a day, respondents are 30 people with purposive sampling technique. Respondents used to rinse his mouth with green tea was recovered by 86.6% and did not recover 13.3%. Controls without gargling were 40% and did not recover 60%. for 5 days. Gargling using green tea solution can accelerate thrush healing. thrush healing.

This research aims at finding the effectiveness of using song in teaching English at Sulawesi flight college. The researcher applied pre-experimental method, with one group pretest and posttest design which employed speaking test to find out the students’ speaking performance in terms of accuracy. The sample consisted of 40 students used purposive sampling technique taken from the population of the second semester students of Sulawesi Flight. The result of the data analysis indicated that there was significant difference of student’ English achievement before and after being taught by using songs. It is proved by result of statistical analysis of the level significance 0.05 with degree of freedom (df) =  N-1 = 46-1 = 39 which indicated that( t- obs =  4.06 >  t –table =  (1.68 ). It can be said that there is a significant difference of achievement of the students after the treatment.

Irrational use or misuse of antibiotics, particularly by outpatients, increases antibiotic resistance. A lack of public knowledge about &lsquo;Responsible use of antibiotics&rsquo; and &lsquo;How to obtain antibiotics&rsquo; is a major cause of this. This study aimed to assess the effectiveness of an educational video about antibiotics and antibiotics use to increase outpatient's knowledge in two public hospitals in East Java, Indonesia. A quasi-experimental research setting was used with a one-group pretest-posttest design, carried out from November 2018 to January 2019. The study population consisted of outpatients, to whom antibiotics were prescribed, in two public hospitals in East Java, Indonesia. Participants were selected using a purposive sampling technique; 98 outpatients at MZ General Hospital in S regency and 96 at SG General Hospital in L regency were included. A questionnaire was used to measure the respondents&rsquo; knowledge and consisted of five domains, i.e. definition of infections and antibiotics, obtaining the antibiotics, directions of use, storage instructions, antibiotic resistance. The knowledge test score was the total score of the Guttman scale (a dichotomy of &lsquo;yes&rsquo; or &lsquo;no&rsquo; answers). To determine the significance of the difference in knowledge before and after providing the educational video and in the knowledge score between hospitals, the (paired) Student&rsquo;s t-test was applied. The educational videos significantly improved outpatients' knowledge, which increased with 41% in MZ General Hospital and 42% in SG General Hospital. An educational video is a useful method to improve the knowledge of the outpatients regarding antibiotics.

Murottal therapy is one type of music therapy that has a positive influence on listeners, where when someone listens to murottal therapy it will provide stimulation to the eardrum which will then be transmitted through the auditory nerve to the auditory cortex in the brain so that there will be a decrease in cortisol which can cause a relaxed feeling. and comfortable. This study aims to determine the effect of audio murottal al-qur'an relaxation therapy on the anxiety level of patients treated in the ICU. The research method used is quantitative research with quasi-experimental design and one group pretest posttest design and statistical test using Wicolxon test. The population studied were patients who were treated in the ICU room of Aminah Hospital and the sample studied was 38 people who were taken by using purposive sampling technique. The results of the study using the Wicolxon statistical test, obtained p value = 0.000 (p < = 0.05), it can be concluded that there is an effect of anxiety levels before and after giving murottal Al-Qu'an therapy to decrease anxiety levels. From the results of this study, it is hoped that all health workers in the ICU will continue to improve their performance and routinely provide Ar-Rahman letter therapy to patients who experience anxiety while being treated in the ICU.   Abstrak Terapi murottal merupakan salah satu jenis terapi musik yang memiliki pengaruh positif pada pendengar, dimana saat seseorang mendengarkan terapi murottal maka akan memberikan rangsangan pada gendang telinga yang kemudian akan diteruskan melalui saraf pendengaran ke korteks pendengaran di otak sehingga akan terjadi penurunan kortisol yang dapat menimbulkan perasaan santai dan nyaman. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh terapi relaksasi audio murottal al-qur’an terhadap tingkat kecemaasan pasien yang di rawat di ruangan ICU. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain eksperimen semu dan rancangan one group pretest posttest serta uji statistik menggunakan Uji Wicolxon. Populasi yang diteliti adalah pasien yang di rawat di ruangan ICU Rumah Sakit Aminah dan sampel yang diteliti sebanyak 38 orang yang diambil dengan cara menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian dengan menggunakan uji statistik wicolxon di dapatkan p value = 0.000 (p<α=0.05), maka dapat disimpulkan ada pengaruh tingkat kecemasan sebelum dan sesudah pemberikan terapi murottal Al-Qu'an terhadap penurunan tingkat kecemasan. Dari hasil penelitian ini diharapkan kepada semua petugas kesehatan yang ada di ruang ICU agar tetap meningkatkan kinerja dan rutin memberikan terapi surat Ar-Rahman kepada pasien yang mengalami kecemasan saat di rawat di ruang ICU.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) Keefektifan model pembelajaran kooperatif metode Problem Solving dan tipe Team-Assisted Individualization (TAI)  dapat meningkatkan minat dan hasil belajar IPS, dan (2) Perbedaan keefektifan pembelajaran kooperatif metode Problem Solving dan tipe Team- Assisted Individualization dalam meningkatkan minat dan hasil belajar IPS. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen semu. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh peserta didik SMP Muhammadiyah 3 Depok tahun pelajaran 2013-2014 yang terbagi menjadi 12 kelas. Sampel dalam penelitian ini terdiri atas tiga kelas yaitu dua kelas untuk kelas eksperimen dan satu kelas untuk kelas kontrol. Teknik sampling yang digunakan ialah purposive sampling. Pengumpulan data menggunakan test dan tugas. Penentuan keefektifan kedua model tersebut diuji dengan Anava satu jalur. Hasil penelitian adalah sebagai berikut. (1) Model pembelajaran kooperatif  metode Problem Solving dan tipe Team-Assisted Individualization efektif untuk meningkatkan minat dan hasil belajar IPS. (2) Model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Team-Assisted Individualization lebih efektif untuk meningkatkan minat belajar peserta didik dibandingkan dengan metode Problem Solving, sedangkan metode  Problem Solving lebih efektif untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik dibandingkan dengan tipe Team-Assisted Individualization.Kata Kunci: penelitian ekperimen, problem solving, team-assisted individualization , minat belajar dan hasil belajar. ______________________________________________________________ EFFECTIVENESS OF COOPERATIVE LEARNING PROBLEM SOLVING AND TAI TO IMPROVE LEARNING OUTCOMES INTERESTS AND IPS Abstract This study aims to reveal: (1) the cooperative learning model of Problem Solving method and Team-Assisted Individualization type in increasing the interest and learning outcomes in IPS, and (2) the difference the effectiveness of the cooperative learning model of Problem Solving method and Team-Assisted Individualization Type in increasing the interest and learning outcomes in IPS. This study was a quasi-experimental study. The population was all students of SMP Muhammadiyah 3 Depok in 2013-2014 divided into 12 classes. The sample consisting of three classes, two experimental classes and one control class, was establisted using the purposive sampling technique. The data were collected using a test and assignments. The determination of the effectiveness of these two models was tested with one-way Anova. The results are as follows. (1) The cooperative learning model of the Problem Solving method and Team-Assisted Individualization types effective increase the interest and learning outcomes in IPS. (2) The Team-Assisted Individualization type is more effective to increase the interest of the learners than the Problem Solving method, and the Problem Solving method is more effective to improve the learning outcomes of the students than the Team-Assisted Individualization type. <p>Kemampuan dasar matematika sangatlah penting untuk siswa Sekolah Dasar (SD). Salah satunya adalah kemampuan melakukan operasi hitung bilangan. Kondisi di lapangan menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar siswa Sekolah Dasar (SD) tentang operasi hitung bilangan masih rendah. Hal ini terjadi karena aktivitas siswa di sekolah pada umumnya masih dibatasi oleh guru, sehingga membuat anak-anak menjadi cepat bosan saat pembelajaran berlangsung. Oleh karena itu, diperlukannya suatu suasana pembelajaran yang baru dengan berbantuan media sehingga dapat membuat pembelajaran menjadi menyenangkan serta membuat siswa lebih aktif. Salah satu media pembelajaran yang akan digunakan adalah <em>Games Memorize Card. </em>Tujuan penelitian ini untuk melihat perbedaan hasil belajar siswa sebelum dan sesudah penggunaan <em>Games Memorize Card</em> serta pengaruh <em>Games Memorize Card</em> terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Adapun subjek dari penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas III SD XYZ di Kabupaten Tangerang. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik <em>purposive sampling</em>. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pra-eksperimen dengan menggunakan<em> one group pretest-posttest design</em>. Instrumen yang akan digunakan di dalam penelitian ini berupa tes. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu uji Wilcoxon dan menghitung nilai N-Gain. Dari hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa penggunaan <em>Games Memorize Card </em>mampu meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas III SD pada operasi hitung bilangan.</p><p><em>Basic math skill is very important for elementary school students. One of them is ability to do number arithmetic operations. Based on the fact show that elementary school students learning outcomes about number arithmetic operations still low. This case happen because activity at school in general still limited by teacher, so that make children become easily bored when learning be held. Therefore, need a new learning environment with assisted media so it can make learning becomes fun and make students active. One of the media that will be used is Games Memorized Card.  The purpose of this research for see the difference in learning outcomes before and after use Games Memorized Card and the influence of Games Memorized Card on student learning outcomes. As for the subject of this research is 3<sup>th</sup> grade students in XYZ elementary school in Tangerang district. The sampling technique had been used purposive sampling. This research is a pre-experimental design that used the one group pretest-posttest design. The instrument to be used in this research is test. The data analysis technique to be used are Wilcoxon test and calculate the value of  N-Gain. The result of research obtained that use Games Memorized Card able to increase learning outcomes 3<sup>th</sup> grade students elementary school on the number arithmetic operations.</em></p>

ABSTRAKProses kehamilan merupakan masa perubahan pada wanita banyak menimbulkan stress, sehingga membutuhkan pelayanan antenatal yang berkesinambungan. Salah satu dari pelayanan antenatal yang diberikan adalah prenatal gentle yoga. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan prenatal gentle yoga pada ibu hamil terhadap berat badan bayi baru lahir di Klinik RK. Jenis penelitian adalah kuantitatif dengan dessain quasi - eksperimen yang bersifat two group postest. Populasi penelitian adalah ibu hamil primigravida yang memeriksakan kehamilan trimester III,  melakukan prenatal gentle yoga dan  melahirkan pada bulan Mei-Juli 2021. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling dengan sampel sebanyak 50 sampel (25 intervensi dan 25 kontrol). Uji statistik menggunakan spearman’s rho dan  mann whitney. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan  ada hubungan antara prenatal gentle yoga dengan berat badan  lahir dengan  nilai p=0,004<α=0,05, nilai uji Mann Whitney perbedaan berat badan bayi baru lahir pada ibu yang  melakukan  prenatal gentle yoga dibandingkan yang tidak melakukan prenatal gentle yoga dengan nilai p=0,004<α=0,05 untuk berat badan lahir. Kata Kunci : ibu hamil; prenatal gentle yoga; berat badan lahir   ABSTRACT Pregnancy is a period of change in women causing a lot of stress, so it requires continuous antenatal care. One of the antenatal services provided is prenatal gentle yoga. This study aims to determine the relationship of prenatal gentle yoga in pregnant women to the weight of newborns at the RK Clinic. This type of research is quantitative with a quasi-experimental design that is a two group posttest. The study population was primigravida pregnant women who had their third trimester of pregnancy checked, did prenatal gentle yoga and gave birth in May-July 2021. The sampling technique used purposive sampling with a sample of 50 samples (25 interventions and 25 controls). Statistical test using spearman's rho and mann whitney. The results showed that there was a relationship between prenatal gentle yoga and birth weight with p value = 0.004 <α = 0.05, the value of the Mann Whitney test was the difference in the weight of newborns in mothers who did prenatal gentle yoga compared to those who did not do prenatal gentle yoga with p value = 0.004 < = 0.05 for birth weight. Keywords: pregnant women; prenatal gentle yoga; birth weight

This research discusses about the use of Choral Reading in reading narrative text. The purpose of this research was to determine whether the choral reading technique affects students' pronunciation. The researcher used a quasi-experimental research design, the population in this research is class VIII Mts Alkahirat Alindau which consists of two classes, they are class 8A and 8B. In this research, class 8B as the Experimental Group by usinga purposive sampling technique. In the experimental class, the researcher gave a pre-test, treatment (choral reading), and post-test, while for the control class, only pretest and post-test without treatment. The researcher collected data through a reading test. From the calculation of the data it showed that the difference in students' scores on the pre-test and posttest with an average post-test score was higher than the average of pre-test score (67.06>30.26). This can be seen from the results obtained before and after the treatment, the score on post-test of experimental class was higher than the score on the pos-test of control group (67.0>51.2). In addition, the result showed that the t-counted was higher than the t-table (52.94>2084. Based on the data analysis, the researcher concluded that the used of Choral Reading technique was affects the pronunciation of the 8th grade students of MTs Alkharat Alinda.

Exacerbation of asthma is a progressive step in progressive breathing, coughing, wheezing, breathing. In Indonesia salbutamol nebulation is used for the therapy of the first exacerbation attack. In addition, intravenous aminophylline is also recommended as a therapy, even if the use of aminophylline abroad is reduced due to its smaller effectiveness and often leads to greater unwanted reaction events. The effectiveness of asthma exacerbation therapy needs to be monitored and one of the monitoring parameters that is easily seen is the rate of breath.The aim of this study was to investigate the difference in respiratory rate values using salbutamol nebulisation and intravenous aminophylline in patients with asthma exacerbations in hospitals in Surabaya. The research was conducted by using quasi experimental method and data collection by purposive sampling. Analysis of the data to be used is a independent t-test. The results showed that the salbutamol group decreased respiratory rate by 50.00%, there were also patients who experienced an increase of breath rate of 13.64%. In the aminophylline group experienced a decrease in respiratory rate of 43.75% with an increase of breath rate of 18.75%. From the results of the study, it is necessary to monitor the effectiveness and the need to monitor the unwanted reactions of both treatments so that the therapies produced in the treatment of asthma exacerbations are more effective.Key words: Aminophylline, exacerbation asthma, respiratory rate, salbutamol
