Abstract:Thematic learning requires teachers' creativity in selecting and developing learning media; one of them is by using professional flip pdf learning media. This study aimed to determine the feasibility and investigate teachers' and students' responses towards professional flip pdf for thematic learning with the 'loving plants and animals' theme. This research used Research and Development method with Borg and Gall model. The data collecting procedures were through observation, interview, and documentation. The results indicated that The development of learning media professional flip pdf gained 94.54% from media experts with the very feasible category, material experts 86.66% with the very feasible category, and linguists 94.54% with a very feasible category. In addition, the average of teachers' response obtained was 95% with the very feasible category. The small-scale trial was 91.3%, and the large-scale trial was obtained 95.8%, both with very attractive interpretation criteria. Therefore, professional pdf flip-based learning media are very feasible and very interesting to be used as thematic learning media.Abstrak:Pembelajaran tematik membutuhkan kreativitas guru dalam memilih dan mengembangkan media pembelajaran; salah satunya dengan menggunakan media pembelajaran flip pdf professional. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelayakan, respon guru dan siswa terhadap flip pdf profesional untuk pembelajaran tematik dengan tema 'menyayangi tumbuhan dan binatang'. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development dengan model Borg and Gall. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian menggunakan observasi, wawancara, angket dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan media pembelajaran flip pdf profesional diperoleh rata-rata 94,54% dari ahli media dengan kategori sangat layak, ahli materi 86,66% dengan kategori sangat layak, dan ahli bahasa 94,54% dengan kategori sangat layak. Selain itu, rata-rata respon guru yang diperoleh adalah 95% dengan kategori sangat layak. Uji coba skala kecil sebesar 91,3% dan uji coba skala besar diperoleh 95,8%, keduanya mendapat kriteria interpretasi sangat menarik. Denga demikian, media pembelajaran berbasis flip pdf profesional sangat layak dan sangat menarik untuk digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran tematik.

This research is motivated by the learning media carried out in schools that look less effective and less attractive.Because learning in the classroom does not use alternative media other than thematic books. From the existing problems, environmental-based picture story books were developed with the aim of (1) being able to produce picture story books with the help of correl draw applications and Photoshop soft ware. (2) knowing how appropriate the picture book media is. (3) to determine the feasibility of validation response to the developed media. This type of research is Research and Development (R&D) by using the steps of the research and development method according to Borg and Gall, modified by Sugiyono. The stages in research and development are potential and problems, collecting data, product design, product validation, product revision, product testing, and product revision. The results of the validation on picture story books by linguists obtained an average percentage of 90% with very feasible criteria, material experts obtained an average percentage of 97% with very feasible criteria, media experts obtained an average percentage of 92% with very feasible criteria. The assessment on the response of educators obtained an average percentage of 99% with very feasible criteria, and students' responses to small-scale trials at Wates State Elementary School in Central Lampung obtained an average percentage of 90% with very feasible criteria, as well as large-scale trials at schools in MI Al-Hikmah Bandar Lampung get an average percentage of 89% with very decent criteria. It was concluded that the environmental-based storybook with the help of correl draw applications and Photoshop soft ware for thematic learning subjects of class II SD / MI on the theme of caring for animals and plants developed were suitable for use as learning media. Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh media pembelajaran yang dilaksanakan di sekolah terlihat kurang efektif dan kurang menarik. Dari pemasalahan yang ada buku cerita bergambar dibuat kemudian dikembangkan menjadi buku cerita berbasis lingkungan hidup dengan tujuan untuk (1) dapat menghasilkan produk buku cerita bergambar dengan bantuan aplikasi correl draw dan soft ware potoshop. (2) mengetahui bagaimana kelayakan media buku cerita bergambar. (3) untuk mengetahui respon kelayakan validasi terhadap media yang dikembangkan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Reseach and Development (R&D) dengan menggunakan langkah-langkah metode penelitian dan pengembangan menurut Borg and Gall yang dimodifikasi oleh Sugiyono. Adapun tahapan dalam penelitian dan pengembangan yaitu potensi dan masalah, mengumpulkan data, desain produk, validasi produk, revisi produk, uji coba produk, dan revisi produk. Hasil validasi pada buku cerita bergambar oleh ahli bahasa memperoleh rata-rata persentase 90% dengan kriteria sangat layak, ahli materi memperoleh rata-rata persentase 97% dengan kriteria sangat layak, ahli media memperoleh rata-rata persentase 92% dengan kriteria sangat layak. Penilaian pada respon pendidik memperoleh rata-rata persentase 99% dengan kriteria sangat layak, dan respon peserta didik pada uji coba skala kecil di Sekolah Dasar Negeri Wates Lampung Tengah memperoleh rata-rata persentase 90% dengan kriteria sangat layak, serta uji coba skala besar pada sekolah di MI Al- Hikmah Bandar Lampung memperoleh rata-rata persentase 89% dengan kriteria sangat layak. Disimpulkan bahwa buku cerita begambar berbasis lingkungan hidup dengan bantuan aplikasi correl draw dan soft ware potoshop mata pembelajaran tematik kelas II SD/MI pada tema merawat hewan dan tumbuhan yang dikembangkan layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran.

Using media in language teaching has various weaknesses in terms of design, material aspects, and in terms of language. Based on this, the problem of this research "How is the development, feasibility, response of students to the power point learning media ispring the presenter on vocabulary material?" The research aims to: develop power point learning media, ispring presenters in vocabulary material and knowing the feasibility, effectiveness, and response of students to the ispring presenter's power point learning media. This research was conducted using the Research and Development (R & D) method which adopted the development of Borg & Gall. Instruments for data collection using questionnaires and interviews. Based on the results of this study, it was found that the development of the powerpoint ispring presenter included three main points, design, material and language. The feasibility of the validation results of the media expert team obtained an average percentage of 84%. The results of the validation of the material expert team obtained an average percentage of 89%. And the results of the validation of the linguist team gained an average percentage of 92%. The response of students to the attractiveness of learning media based on small-scale trials obtained an average score of 86.5% with interpretation criteria "Very Interesting", and in large-scale trials obtained an average score of 95.7% with interpretation criteria "Very Interesting". While the average score of a teacher as users is 86% with "Very Worth" interpretation criteria. Abstrak Penggunaan media pembelajaran yang selama ini digunakan memiliki berbagai kelemahan dilihat dari segi desain, materi, dan bahasa. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, penulis merumuskan masalah “Bagaimana pengembangan, kelayakan, respon peserta didik terhadap media pembelajaran power point ispring presenter pada materi kosakata?”. Adapun penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: mengembangkan media pembelajaran power point ispring presenter pada materi kosakata dan mengetahui kelayakan, keefektifan serta respon peserta didik terhadap media pembelajaran power point ispring presenter. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode Research and Development (R&D) yang mengadopsi pengembangan dari Borg & Gall. Instrumen pengumpulan data menggunakan angket dan wawancara. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini diperoleh bahwa, pengembangan power point ispring presenter mencakup tiga hal pokok, yaitu desain, materi dan bahasa.. Kelayakan hasil validasi tim ahli media memperoleh presentase rata-rata sebesar 84%. Hasil validasi tim ahli materi memperoleh presentase rata-rata sebesar 89%. Dan hasil validasi tim ahli bahasa memperoleh presentase rata-rata sebesar 92%. Respon peserta didik terhadap kemenarikan media pembelajaran berdasarkan uji coba skala kecil diperoleh skor rata-rata 86,5% dengan kriteria interprestasi “Sangat Menarik”, dan pada uji coba skala besar diperoleh skor rata-rata 95,7% dengan kriteria interprestasi “Sangat Menarik. Sedangkan skor rata-rata pendidik sebagai pengguna adalah 86% dengan kriteria interprestasi “Sangat Layak”. Kata Kunci: Media Pembelajaran, Power Point Ispring Presenter, Kosakata

The purpose of this research is to modify a simple disc device for learning physical education. The research method used was the development of Borg & Gall, namely (1) collecting information, (2) developing the initial form (in the form of a disc tool model), (3) expert validation testing, namely using 1 validation of athletic experts and one physical education learning expert, and small-scale trials using questionnaires and analysis, (4) revision of the first product design, based on the results of experts and small-scale trials (20 students), (5) field trials (48 students), (6) final product revision, (7) the final result of the modification produced through revision of field trials.The results of expert validation were carried out by 2 validities, namely validation in the field of athletic experts and validation of physical education material experts, and the results obtained in each validity were the first for the validation results in the field of athletic experts getting a percentage of 87.6% calcification (Good) , the second for the validation results in the field of Physical Education material experts got a percentage of 83.0% with the classification (Good). The results of the student questionnaire on a small scale test got a percentage of 86.6% (good). the results of the questionnaire on large-scale test students got a percentage of 81.8% (good).The conclusion and advice is that the development of a modified model of disc throwing tools with iron plate waste media can be used as an alternative to discus throwing. With the modification of disc throwing, teachers and students can be helped in learning discusses, students are interested and more active and excited in learning throw the disc.

Abstract. During steady magnetospheric convection (SMC) events the magnetosphere is active, yet there are no data signatures of a large scale reconfiguration, such as a substorm. While this definition has been used for years it fails to elucidate the true physics that is occurring within the magnetosphere, which is that the dayside merging rate and the nightside reconnection rate balance. Thus, it is suggested that these events be renamed Balanced Reconnection Intervals (BRIs). This paper investigates four diverse BRI events that support the idea that new name for these events is needed. The 3–4 February 1998 event falls well into the classic definition of an SMC set forth by Sergeev et al. (1996), while the other challenge some previous notions about SMCs. The 15 February 1998 event fails to end with a substorm expansion and concludes as the magnetospheric activity slowly quiets. The third event, 22–23 December 2000, begins with a slow build up of magnetospheric activity, thus there is no initiating substorm expansion. The last event, 17 February 1998, is more active (larger AE, AL and cross polar cap potential) than previously studied SMCs. It also has more small scale activity than the other events studied here.

Penelitianpengembangan ini menggunakan strategi campuran kualitatif-kuantitatif desaineksploratori sekuensial. Data dianalisis secara kualitatif dan kuantitatif dengan uji validasipola matching pretest posttest. Hasil analisis uji-t antara tes awal and tes akhir kelas uji cobaterbatas, uji coba luas, dan uji validasi menunjukkan adanya perbedaan yang signifikan.Hasil analisis perbedaan dua rerata terhadap data hasil uji coba pertama/terbatas diperolehnilai t sebesar 11,992 dengan besaran perbedaan antara nilai tes awal dan nilai tes akhirsebesar 16,785 dan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,000. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkanbahwa model pembelajaran transformasi teks cerita yang dikembangkan mampumeningkatkan kemampuan membaca apresiatif. This was a research and development studyusing a qualitative-quantitative mixed strategy with a sequential exploratory design. Thedata were qualitatively and quantitatively analyzed using a validation test by matchingthe pretest and the posttest. The results of the analysis of the t-test for the pretest and theposttest in the small-scale tryout, large-scale tryout, and validation test showed significantdifferences. The results of the analysis of the difference between two means in the first orsmall-scale tryout showed t =11.992 with a difference of 16.785 between the pretest scoreand the posttest score and a significance value of 0.000. Therefore, it can be concludedthat the developed learning model using the transformation of story texts can improveappreciative reading skills. The model is effective and appropriate to be used to improvethe appreciative reading skills of Grade XII students of the vocational high school.Keywords: transformation of texts, learning model, appreciative reading

Abstrak             Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh rendahya keterampilan siswa dalam menulis kalimat efektif. Hal ini terjadi karena kurangnya media pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia yang inovatif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media lift the flap book untuk siswa kelas III SD yakni, menghasilkan media lift the flap book, menguji kelayakan media lift the flap book, dan menguji keefektifan media lift the flap book. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Develompent (R&D).  Hasil uji kelayakan lift the flap book yaitu dari ahli media sebesar 97,7% dan ahli materi sebesar 90,9%. Media lift the flap book efektif digunakan sesuai hasil uji t menunjukkan -t hitung< -t tabel ( -5,67 < -1,68 ), maka Ho ditolak dan uji N-Gain pretest dan posttest diperoleh sebesar 0,45 dengan kriteria sedang. Simpulan penelitian ini adalah media yang dikembangkan sangat layak dan efektif digunakan dalam pembelajaran serta dapat meningkatkan keterampilan siswa dalam menulis kalimat efektif. This research was motivated by the poor skills of students in writing effective sentences. This occured due to the lack of innovative learning media in Bahasa Indonesia subject. This study aimed to develop lift the flap book media for the third grade students, namely, to produce lift the flap book media, to test the viability and the effectiveness of lift the flap book media. The research method used Research and Development (R&D). The result of the lift the flap book viability test from media experts by 97.7% and from content experts by 90.9%. The media lift the flap book was effectively used according to the results of the t test showing -t count <-t table (-5.67 <-1.68), so Ho was rejected and the N-Gain test on pretest and posttest obtained a value of 0.45 with moderate criteria . The conclusion of this research is that the media developed was very viable and effective in learning and can improve students' skills in writing effective sentences.

AbstractThis chapter lays out the theoretical foundation of the book. It conceptualizes resistance as a space in-between small-scale mundane practices with a low level of collective organizing and large-scale protest activities which often exemplify resistance in social movement studies. In line with feminist and queer conceptualization of resistance, the authors suggest to examine multi-scalarity of resistant practices. The chapter attends to three scales of feminist and LGBTI+  activism in Russia, Turkey, and Scandinavia. The first scale analyzes activism in relation to the civil society-state-market triad. The second scale problematizes the notion of solidarity in relations between feminist and LGBTI+  activists from different geopolitical regions and countries as well as between small- and large-scale activist organizations and groups. Finally, the third scale focuses on individual resistant practices and the role of individual bodies in emergence of collective political struggles.

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the application of thematic learning modelbasedintegrative sosiokultural for students of class III Elementary School in Purbalingga.The research design was quasi experimental with one group pre-test and post-test design. Thesubject of research involved are students of class III SD N Pengadegan Pengadegan 1 and 2 atotal of 56 students, where each class consists of 28 students. In this research, students of classIII SD N Pengadegan 1 is determined as the control class (with thematic learning-integrativeusual) and the third grade students of SD N Pengadegan 2 as the experimental class (using themodel of thematic learning-integrative-based sociocultural. The results showed that there weredifferences the final results were significant between control classes using model-integrativethematic regular and classroom experiment that uses thematic learning model-based integrativesocio-cultural. it is obtained from the t-test with p <0.05 then there is also a significant difference,namely with sig = 0.0006.

Kemendiknas telah melakukan investasi cukup besar berupa pembangunan Jejaring komputer pendidikan nasional yang disebut Jaringan Pendidikan Nasional (Jardiknas), pada sekolah menengah kejuruan (SMK) di seluruh Indonesia yang dikenal dengan nama ICT center. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menemukan model manajemen ICT center sesuai karakteristik SMK sehingga dapat memberikan kontribusi mutu pada SMK tersebut. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan atau Research and Development yang dikembangkan oleh Borg and Gall. Hasil secara keseluruhan penelitian menunjukkan berdasarkan uji coba keefektivan kinerja manajemen pada skala terbatas dan lebih luas menunjukkan bahwa model manajemen ICT center memenuhi kriteria sangat efektif. DEVELOPING A MODEL OF ICT CENTER MANAGEMENTAbstractDeveloping a Model of ICT Center Management. This study was a research and development study using a model by Borg and Gall. The results for all of the study is small-scale and large-scale tryouts on the effectiveness of the management performance show that the model of the ICT center management is very effective.

Strengthening STEM-oriented learning is necessary for 21st century, so the development of appropriate learning models must be carried out. The aimed to of this study were analized validity, effectiveness, and practicality of STEM-based Team Games and Tournament (TGT) learning model towards the students' science process skills. This research was research and development (R&D) with a 4-D development namely; Defining, Designing, Developing, and Disseminating. The study involved 2 experts as validators, 2 teachers as user, and 112 students in small-scale tests, large-scale tests, and distribution tests in SMA. The research was done until the stage of disseminating and produced. The results showed the validity value of 83% was categorized as very valid, the effectiveness score of 83.9% was categorized as good, and the practicality score was 87.5%, so that it was declared valid, effective, and practical to improve the science process skills. Therefore, it is recommended to be applied in schools.
