Construction of roads causes interference in the environment, resulting in number of ecological changes. Site facilities associated with road structures, including drainage system of a lane, play a significant role among environmental impacts. It affects particular elements of the environment, causing changes in existing ecosystems, in terms of, among others, surface and groundwater, soil, landscape and lively nature. The paper presents impact of a drainage system of a road on animal nature, mainly herpetofauna. Results of a control of a drainage system facilities for the presence of amphibians are shown for selected sections of roads commissioned by General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways Katowice Branch. Basic problems associated with active protection of animals on completed road investments and methods to minimize the impact of drainage system on amphibians are also presented in the paper.

Good drainage is the most important design consideration for a road, both to miniaturize road maintenance costs and maximize the time the road is operational. The lack of good drainage lead to the structural damages and costly repairs. Many of roads are built in intensively drained agricultural land. The effective way to drain subgrades is reconstruction of existing agricultural drainage. The impact of cross-subsurface drainage system on water level fluctuation was measured using Plane geofiltration mathematical model, one of 3D geofiltration modelling programs. The hydraulic permeability characteristics were determined in field of Pikeliai, close to local road in Kėdainiai district, Lithuania. This object is composed of clay and loamy soils. Subsurface cross drains trenches spacing of 20 m, 30 m and 40 m were simulated. The hydraulic permeability of cross drain trenches and lateral trenches modelled was from 0.006 m/a day to 6 m/a day. The simulation of cross drains trenches showed that the most effective distance between them are 20 m. The highest water depression occurs when the permeability of cross drain trenches and lateral trenches is ~ 6 m/day, at the distance of 20 m. The water recession is 20 cm lower compared to the drainage systems without cross drains trenches. By installing cross drains trenches every 30 m, water recession is 10 cm lower when the trench permeability is about 6 m/day. When increasing the distance between the cross drains up to 40 m their influence disappears.

Three stages of selective commercial logging in a 0.54 km 2 catchment in the Ulu Segama caused great changes in the output of sediment and water over a 27-month period from June 1988. The ratio of monthly suspended sediment yield from the logged catchment to that from a nearby undisturbed catchment changed from the order of 1:1 before disturbance; to 4:1 after a logging road had been built across the head of the catchment; to 5:1 after logging within 37 m of the road; and to 18:1 in the five months after logging of the remainder of the catchment. A year after logging had ceased the largest monthly sediment yields of the whole period were only 3.6 times those of the undisturbed catchment, indicating a degree of recovery. Sediment accumulated in the channel bed and on the narrow flood plain remained to be evacuated, and gullies on abandoned logging trails continued to supply sediment to the drainage system.

Brazil is in a situation of marked degradation in the road system, both in the sense of lacking new road projects and needing repairs to its current infrastructure. It is known that with the demographic increase over the years several positive and negative environmental impacts were caused and that the highways are works that generate great environmental impact. An environmental impact is defined as any change caused to the environment by humans, in turn the negative leads to an ecological imbalance, causing serious damage to the environment. In addition to the great polluting effects of the gases released by car exhaust, there is also the impact of road construction, which implies the withdrawal and transfer of huge amounts of land, deforestation, changes in the form of water runoff, silting of rivers and associated urban expansion. The purpose of this article is to analyze the fundamentals that support the concept, understand the challenges posed and the level of adequacy that reveal the need for legitimacy of the article.

Purpose: analysis of the impact of industrial waste storage facilities on surface and underground water supply sources. Materials and methods: according to the data of Federal Service for Supervision of Natural Resources, an annual significant increase in the volume of generated and stored waste was determined. One of the global problems associated with the impact of waste ponds on the environment is the contaminated filtrate formed in its body. As a rule, the absence of proper waterproofing at the basis of storage ponds of various purposes leads to contamination of ground and surface water supply sources, soil and adjacent territories. Previous measures aimed at the construction of a “clay castle” with a thickness of 0.5 to 1.0 m are insufficiently effective, and the polymer films used in the base of the storage ponds were characterized by rapid damage and low durability. Results: the analysis and review of the studies carried out by various authors showed that to reduce the pollution of surface and ground waters with harmful substances during the waste ponds operation, a set of measures to prevent the penetration of polluting components into water bodies should be taken. Conclusions: to prevent contamination of surface and groundwater sources at the base of the reservoir, it is necessary to use impervious and drainage facilities, which allow to eliminate the flow of contaminated leachate into the soil and underlying beds in advance. The impervious screen and a drainage system facility of modern geosynthetic materials (for example, three-layer drainage mats combined with impervious geomembranes and geotextiles) will not only effectively remove contaminated filtrate from the waste ponds, but also reduce the flow of pollutants into the aquifers.

In this article I examine aspects of the relationship between mothers and sons from an attachment perspective in an Irish context. Through the works of Irish writers such as Seamus Heaney, John McGahern, and Colm Tóibín, I focus on particular aspects of this relationship, which fails to support the developmental processes of separation and individuation in the many men who come to me for psychotherapy. I illustrate key points concerning this attachment dynamic through the use of clinical examples of my work with two men from my practice. While acknowledging that many other cultural factors play a significant role in the emotional development of children, integrating the work of our poets, novelists, and scholars with an attachment perspective

Abstract: This research aims to analyze the impact of Janti Flyover Construction toward the growth of layout at Janti Urban Area, including structured space, open space, and linkage. Method used for data collecting are observation, air photograph monitoring, and interview, whereas the analysis method is qualitative description, which is the superimposed method of two layers, that are the layout condition before and after flyover construction. The result shows that the impact of Janti Flyover construction can be seen on building mass (solid), the increasing number of open spaces, including the road network, parking place, and park, whereas the relation between spaces, visually and structurally, can be seen on the growth of buildings which have new shapes and styles, therefore the performance of the overall building does not have a proportional shape. Considering Janti Street at the collective relation, its role is getting stronger as the main frame road network. Keywords: Flyover construction, layout changing, Janti AreaAbstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh pembangunan Jalan Layang Janti terhadap perkembangan tata ruang Kawasan Janti, meliputi ruang terbangun, ruang terbuka, serta hubungan antar ruang (“linkage”).

Tsunami which was generated by the 2004 Aceh eartquake has beenhaunting our life. The building damage due to the tsunami could be seenthroughout Meulaboh Coastal Area. Appearing of the physical loss wasclose to our fault. It was caused by the use dan plan of the land withoutconsidering a tsunami disaster threat. Learning from that event, we haveconducted a research on the pattern of damage that caused by the 2004tsunami. Based on the analysis of tsunami hazard intensity and thepattern of building damage, it has been made a landuse planning whichbased on tsunami mitigation for Meulaboh. Tsunami mitigation-based ofMeulaboh landuse planning was made by intergrating some aspects, suchas tsunami protection using pandanus greenbelt, embankment along withhigh plants and also arranging the direction of roads and setting of building forming a rhombus-shaped. The rhombus-shaped of setting of the road and building would reduce the impact of tsunamic wave. It is expected that these all comprehensive landuse planning will minimize potential losses in the future .

Corporate Social Responsibilityis a concept that a company has various forms of responsibility to all stakeholders including consumers, employees, shareholders, communities and the environment in all aspects of the company's operations that include economic, social, and environmental aspects. Therefore CSR is closely related to "sustainable development", in which a company, in carrying out its activities must base its decisions not only on the impact on economic aspects, such as the level of profits or dividends (profits), but also must consider the social and environmental impacts that arise from that decision, both for the short term and the longer term.Pondok Modern Darussalam Gontor (PMDG), in managing its Productive Waqf by establishing business units which mostly involve workers from the local society around PMDG. They are employed according to their skills. This is a form of implementing CSR in order to help advance and improve the welfare of the local society. The existence of these various business units is one of the educational facilities and as a form of CSR application which is actually intended to educate in the fields of independence, entrepreneurship, sincerity and sacrifice.PMDG involvement in social activities that are useful for the local society such as infrastructure development and village facilities, regeneration of students who are from around PMDG to be able to get higher education with funding from the PMDG, doing guidance to the local society through various religious activities, educational and economic activities is a form of PMDG responsibility to the local society environment and also to all stakeholders such as students, Ustadz, employees, so as to provide social and environmental impacts for the short term and the longer term. Keywords: Corporate Social Responsibilityandproductive waqf.

Chicken feathers are the result of waste from slaughterhouses and billions ofkilograms of waste produced by various kinds of poultry processing. This hal is a veryserious problem for the environment because it causes the impact of pollution. Hasmany utilization of chicken feather waste such as making komocen, accessories, upholstery materials, making brackets to the manufacture of animal feed but from theresults of this activity cannot reduce the production of chicken feathers that hiscontinuously increase every year. This is due to the fact that the selling price of chickenmeat has been reached by consumers with middle to upper economic levels. This caneasily be a chicken menu in almost all restaurants and restaurants to the food stalls onthe side of the road. An alternative way of utilizing chicken feathers is to makecomposite materials in the form of panels. Recent studies have shown that the pvacmaterial can be utilized as a mixing and adhesive material with mashed or groundfeathered composites to form a panel that can later be used as an acoustic material. The test results show that the absorption of chicken feathers and pvac glue into panelscan absorb sound well with an absorption coefficient of 0.59, light. This result is veryeconomical so it is worth to be recommended as an acoustic material. Apart from theresults of research methods carried out is one of the environmentally friendly activitiesin particular the handling of waste problems

Gelendzhik is the resort town, there aren't a lot of industrial enterprises here. The main pollutant is transport. The work purpose is the assessment of a condition of the artificial landings of a pine located along the Federal highway "Don" and landings, which is nearly the sea coast. Researches were conducted to a standard technique of the General vital state (A. S. Bogolyubov). The assessment of a condition of pines was carried out during 6 years: from 2010 to 2015. For carrying out research we used 6 experimental grounds on the Markotkhsky spine and 2 control grounds within the town. We investigated 24 trees on each platform, middle age of the trees were 30 - 40 years. Results. 1. The condition of trees in the pine forests located in immediate proximity with the Federal highway "Don" (No. 1, 2, 3) is unsatisfactory. As even weak influences of the majority of atmospheric gaseous pollutants (sulphurous gas, nitrogen oxides, etc.) give effect of a necrosis and hloroz of pine needles, the condition of pines is connected with technogenic pollution. So near the Federal highway "Don" the air environment is strongly polluted by exhaust gases. Information of 2012 confirm that negative influence of the route on Markotkh's vegetation decreases at reduction of load of the route. 2. On the sites located above on a slope (No. 4,5,6) thanks to remoteness and the wind mode intensity of influence of pollutants is lower and a condition of pines the quite satisfactory. 3. Trees on the sites located near the sea (No. 7,8) are in a good shape. Small deterioration of a state is noted in very droughty years. Conclusion. Results of six years' research show that the condition of the plantings which are in close proximity with the road worsens. It is explained by increase in intensity of the movement on the road, especially during a resort season. Gelendzhik is the city with a good ecological shape, but the damage to environment is already caused. If not to take measures, we can lose a unique part of the nature in the future, recreate it will be impossible. Measures of reduction of negative impact of exhaust gases were offered. Results of researches are transferred to ecological department of the City administration of Gelendzhik.
