ABSTRAK Pregnancy is one of the Physiology things but, in the process of pregnancy not a little pregnant mothers that experienced the problem like Anemia disease.  The Aim of the research is To Known the effect in giving the red Guava juice and honey into the e  knhancement  HB level for the Pregnant Women in semester two and semester Three by the Light anemia. The method employed in this research was Experimental Quasy by Up Design Non equivalent Control Group pre test and post test design . the instrument or the sample of this research is the pregnant mothers in semester two and semester three consists of 32 as informants and they are will divide into the two groups as follows: 16 Respondent in treatment groups and 16 respondent in control groups. The technique that used in this research was accidental sampling. The data was collected by using observation task. The data will analyse by using Wilcoxon test. The result of the research that the level of Pregnant mother’s HB before Giving the Red Guava Juice and honey is in the average level of 9,81. The HB level of pregnant mother’s after Giving the Red Guava Juice and honey most of the levels of Pregnant Mother’s HB was increased in the treatment group in the average level of 10,25 gr %, while in the control group have no found the differentiated of the HB level before and after the treatment in average level of 9,81 gr % by the result of the Wilcoxon test analyse p=0,000 (p<0,05).  Based on the previous analysis above writer would like to draw some conclusion as follows: the sicnificant influence in giving the Red Guava Juice and honey to increase the HB levels of pregnan mother’s. its expected all the pregnant women to Check up routine about the HB level to knowing early the Anemia’s effect in Pregnancy so that it cawill be taken by the Preventive treatment Keyword: Anemia, Hb, pregnant mother

This study used an experimental design, namely Quasi-experimental post-test only with non-equivalent control group design. The samples in this study were infants aged 7-9months in the last 6 months from October 2019-March 2020 who met the criteria. Pain was measured using the MBPS (Modifield Behavior Pain Scale) instrument. The results obtained a pre average pain of 3.07. Wilcoxon test obtained p 0.001, where giving a bobath ball in an upright position can reduce pain in infants during immunization. Respondents' pain response was lower after giving the bobath ball, which was measured using MBPS. The MBPS instrument consists of 3 indicators, namely facial expressions, crying expressions and movement expressions. Patients showed a mean reduction in pain with a post score of 2.23. There were differences in the pain response in children before and after being given the bobath ball upright position

Objective: To identify the effectiveness of beet juice administration on hemoglobin level of anemic pregnant women.Materials and Methods: This was an experimental quantitative study using pretest-posttest design with a total sample of 30 patients who were divided into 2 groups of treatment groups (beetroot + Fe) and control group (Fe). The treatment was carried out for 14 days. Before and after the treatment, the samples were subjected to hemoglobin examination. Data in this study were the difference between pre-test and post-test values, the results of normality test with Shapiro Wilk, and, to identify the difference between pre-test and post-test, the results of Wilcoxon Test for abnormal data and Paired T-Test for normal data.Results: Mann Whitney Test results between treatment and control groups revealed p (0.023) < alpha (0.05). There was a significant difference in hemoglobin levels between TM III pregnant women with anemia receiving beets and those receiving Fe tablets only.Conclusion: Minimum Hb increase before and after the administration of Fe and beetroot juice to pregnant women was 17.7 gr% and the maximum Hb level was 0.8 gr%.

Malnutrition in pregnant women has an impact on the health of the next generation. Therefore, nutrition counseling first 1000 days of life needs to be given. Good nutrition during the period of 1000 days starting from early pregnancy until the child’s second birthday. This study aims to determine the effect of counseling with “Kalpin” or Smart Calendar on knowledge and attitude of pregnant women about the first 1000 days of life. This type of research is a comparative analytic design with pre-test and post-test control group. Nutrition counseling activities carried out by the lecture method using a smart calendar. Measurement of knowledge and attitude of pregnant women perfomed twice: before and after the extension granted. Analysis of the data used were bivariate analysis test Independent T-Test and Mann Whitney. The result shows influence of counseling about first 1000 days of life with Kalpin to knowledge (p = 0,000) and attitude of pregnant woman (p = 0,000) about first 1000 days of life. For health service can be a new input in efforts to improve the quality of service with realization the Program Healthy Indonesia that include first 1000 days of life.

Batik maked process especially �mbironi�, is done in sit position. If this position maintained for a long period, that could be cause muscle strain which may lead into musculoskeletal disorders. The research was aim to know the effect of Workplace Stretching Exercise (WSE) to reduced MSDs in hand-made batik workers. The research was quasy experimental by non-equivalent control group design. Subjects were 37 female handmade batik workers used purposive sampling. Data analysis used Friedman test and Wilcoxon test, then for two independent sample used Independent t Test and Mann Whitney test with significancy level at 5% or a = 0,05. Analysis result show that there is no difference in MSDs on experiment and control group after pre-test which had p-value = 0,371 (>0,05). The result of middle-test and post-test p value = 0,000 (<0,05) that there is significant mean difference of MSDs between experiment and control group. Based on the middle-test and post-test analysis result, it could be conclude that there is an effect of WSE to reduce MSDs of handmade batik workers.

ABSTRAKWorld Health Organization (WHO) memperkirakan setiap harinya 800 perempuan meninggal akibat komplikasi kehamilan dan proses melahirkan. Kematian maternal indikator penting dalam keberhasilan program kesehatan ibu sekaligus salah satu indikator dalam menggambarkan derajat kesehatan masyarakat. Senam hamil merupakan alternatif terapi latihan berupa aktivitas atau gerak yang diberikan pada ibu hamil untuk mempersiapkan diri, baik persiapan fisik maupun psikologis dalam kehamilan dan proses kelahiran. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui pengaruh senam hamil terhadap durasi Tidur ibu hamil trimester III di Klinik Etam Tahun 2019. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah Quasi Eksperimen  desain penelitian  non equivalent control group dengan jumlah sampel 20 Responden dengan analisis data menggunakan uji Wilcoxon. Hasil penelitian didapatkan bahwa nilai rata-rata durasi tidur pada kelompok intervensi 9,6 jam/hari dan pada kelompok control memiliki nilai rata-rata 6,4 jam/hari. Kelompok intervensi didapatkan nilai p value 0,005 dan kelompok control 0,157. Ada perbedaan efektifitas senam hamil terhadap durasi tidur pada ibu hamil trimester III.                                                    Kata kunci : durasi tidur; ibu hamil; senam hamil  PREGNANCY EXERCISE TO IMPROVE SLEEP DURATION IN TRIMESTER III PREGNANT MOTHERABSTRACTWorld Health Organization (WHO) estimates that every day, 800 women die due to pregnancy complications and childbirth. Maternal mortality is an important indicator in the success of maternal health programs as well as one indicator in describing the degree of public health. Pregnancy exercise is an alternative exercise therapy in the form of activities or movements given to pregnant women to prepare themselves, both physical and psychological preparation in pregnancy and birth process. The aim of this research was to identify effectiveness pregnant exercises towards sleep duration in pregnant mother trimester III in Etam Clinic in 2019. Type of research was quasi-experimental design with a non equivalent control group with 20 respondents. Data analysis used Wilcoxon test. The results showed that the average value of sleep duration after pregnancy exercise in the intervention group 9.6 and in the control group had an average value of 6.4. The wilcoxon test in the intervention group obtained p value 0.005 and the control group 0.157. This means that Ho is rejected; there is a difference in the effectiveness of pregnancy exercises against sleep duration in third trimester pregnant women at the etam clinic in 2019. Keyword: pregnancy exercise; sleep duration; pregnancy

Pregnancy is time when a person experiences many changes, both physically and psychologically, making them more vulnerable to stress. This case happens because pregnant women experience hormonal changes that affect psychological and physical conditions during the pregnancy process. This study aims to determine the effect of group therapy using supportive techniques coupled with the provision of information needed to reduce anxiety in pregnant women. The data collection methods used in this study were observation, interviews, Focused Group Discussion (FGD), as well as pre-test and post-test using the Beck Anxiety Inventory (BAI). The research design using quasi-experimental with pre-test and post-test without control, the sample in the study consisted of 7 pregnant women who had mild to severe anxiety levels. The results of data analysis using non-parametric test with the Wilcoxon test showed a value of z = 2.731 and a value of p = 0.018 (p <0.05). The results showed a significant decrease in anxiety scores before and after following the group therapy process. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that there is an effect of supportive group therapy on pregnant women at the Srandakan Public Health Center.

<p style="text-align: justify;">The performance in biology at the secondary level has not been as good as expected. This has been a matter of concern. Thus, there has been a continuous focus on exploring newer innovative learner-centered and friendly instructional strategies to enhance understanding and retention in biology. This study, therefore, determined the effects of Concept Mapping (CM) and Cooperative Mastery Learning (CML) on fostering retention in photosynthesis among secondary schools in Nyamagabe district, Rwanda. A pre-test and post-test non-equivalent control group quasi-experimental design was used. Data were obtained from 151 students taught with CM, 144 students taught with CML, and 154 students taught with Conventional Teaching Methods (CTM). The Photosynthesis Retention Test (KR-21= 0.82) was used for data collection. The data were mainly analyze d using mean and Analysis of Covariance (ANCOVA). The results showed that the CM and CML treatment groups outperformed the CTM group in retention in photosynthesis. There was a statistically significant difference in favor of the CM between the two experimental groups. The male and female students taught using CM retained equally in photosynthesis while gender difference was revealed in the mean retention scores of the students exposed to the CML, with females retained significantly higher than males. The study concluded that the CM and CML strategies were more effective than CTM. It was suggested, among other things, that teachers should be encouraged to apply CM and CML strategies when teaching biology.</p>

Nyeri yang disebabkan oleh sectio caesarea pada umumnya akan terasa hingga beberapa hari. Rasa nyeri tersebut biasanya dirasakan meningkat pada hari pertama post operasi sectio caesarea dan akan semakin terasa apabila pengaruh dari analgesik hilang. Manajemen untuk mengatasi nyeri dapat dilakukan dengan cara non-farmakologi menggunakan aromaterapi. Tujuan Penelitian  mengetahui pengaruh aromaterapi lavender terhadap nyeri post partum sectio caesarea. Metode penelitian merupakan kuantitatif menggunakan desain quasi experiment dengan pendekatan pre test and post test non equivalent control group design yang dilakukan dari bulan Agustus–September 2020. Teknik pengambilan sampel secara consecutive sampling dengan jumlah 22 ibu postpartum sectio caesarea di Ruang Alamanda 3 RSUD Panembahan Senopati Bantul. Uji statistik menggunakan Chi-Square. Hasil: Sebagian besar ibu postpartum sectio caesarea memiliki tingkat nyeri sebelum diberikan aromaterapi lavender pada kategori sedang (4-6) sebanyak 12 orang (54.5%). Setelah dilakukan pemberian aromaterapi lavender memiliki tingkat nyeri ringan (1-3) sebanyak 16 orang (72.7%). Terdapat perbedaan rerata tingkat nyeri ibu postpartum sectio caesarea sebelum dan setelah pemberian aromaterapi lavender dengan nilai mean 0.121, standar deviasi 0.568 dan nilai p-value sebesar 0,000 (p value<0,05).Kesimpulan: Ada pengaruh sebelum dan setelah pemberian aromaterapi lavender terhadap nyeri postpartum sectio caesareadi Ruang Alamanda 3 RSUD Panembahan Senopati Bantul. Kata Kunci: nyeri  postpartum; sectio caesarea; aromaterapi lavender.LAVENDER AROMATERAPY EFFECT ON POSTPARTUM SECTIO CAESAREA PAIN AT PANEMBAHAN SENOPATI HOSPITAL OF BANTUL   ABSTRACT Pain caused by section caesarea are generally felt for several days. The pain is usually felt on the first day of post caesarean section surgery and will be more painful when the effect of analgesic has gone. One of the ways in pain management is non-pharmacological therapy using lavender aromatherapy. This study aim was to determine the effectiveness of lavender aromatherapy on postpartum sectio caesarea mother at  Panembahan Senopati General Hospital of  Bantul. The study used a quasi experimental design with pre test and post test approach non equivalent control group design. This research was conducted from August until September 2020. The research sampling methods used consecutive sampling with a total of 22 postpartum sectio caesarea mothers in the Alamanda 3 room of Panembahan Senopati General Hospital of Bantul. Data analysis used chi square test. Most of the postpartum sectio Caesarea mothers had a level of pain before being given aromatherapy (pre test) in a moderate category (4-6) as much as 12 people (54.5%). After being given lavender aromatherapy had a mild category (1-3) as much as 16 people (72.7%). There is an influence between the level of pain in postpartum mother with section caesarea before and after giving lavender aromatherapy with a mean value of 0.121, standard deviation of 0.568 and a p-value of 0.000 (p value< 0,05). Background: Prediabetes is a condition which pioneers of DM. Diet management is the effective method to decrease fasting blood glucose (FBG) level. One of plant that correlates decreasing FBG level is Aloe vera. The purpose of  the study was to prove the effects of Aloe vera on FBG level in prediabetes women. Method: This study was quasi experiment with pre test-post test design. The subjects were people in Tlogosari Kulon Semarang who taken by consecutive sampling. Total subjects were 26 people which was divided in 2 groups. The treatment group was given juice Aloe vera 150 gram per day during 14 days and control group was not given juice Aloe vera. FBG level was measured before and after intervention using spectrofotometri method. During intervention, both of group recorded food intake using food record and food recall. Data was analyzed by Independent sample t-test, Mann Whitney test, and Wilcoxon test. Result : The decreasing of FBG level in treatment group was 20.38±14.7 (18.92%) mg/dl and control group was 0.38±11.12 mg /dl. Statistic analysis showed that there was significant difference at decreasing of FBG level in treatment group and control group. Conclusion : There was significant decreasing FBG level 20.38 mg/dl after given juice Aloe vera 150 gram per day during 14 days.

Pre operative anxiety occur in patients that undergoing anesthesia procedure and elective surgery. Music therapy is one of distraction technique , because music can reduce physiological pain, stress, and anxiety. Music therapy pushed down sympathy nerve system that reduce body stress respons. Music cause the brain release endorphine, increase dopamine level, and help rise up safety feeling. Find out the effect of music therapy to anxiety in pre general anesthesia patients in PKU Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta Hospital. This study uses a quasy experimental which aims to see the difference in pre anesthesia anxiety before and after given music therapy in intervention and control group. This study uses quasy experimental design here takes group pre test and post test with control sort design. Patients is given pre test and post test with APAIS scale, in intervention group with treatment. Samples in this study amounted to 20 respondents of control group and 20 respondents of intervension group. Data collection is done on May to June 2017. The result of collected data were processed using Wilcoxon test with significant α = 0,05. There is a difference of anxiety before and after in the intervention group using music therapy. Wilcoxon test results obtained Sig. 0,000 (<0.05) so that H1 is accepted or rejected H0. There is a significant effect of music therapy to anxiety on pre general anesthesia patients in PKU Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta Hospital.
