The article considers the question of the significance of the experience of historical consciousness and the history of science for the analysis of modern problems. Modern education is going through a difficult moment. The individualization of education, which is increasingly spreading in the modern world, makes the gender approach to pedagogy, which arose in the second half of the XIX – early XX centuries and has accumulated some educational experience, in demand. The issue of considering and using gender differences is raised in modern science and regulatory documents, including in international studies (PISA), Attention is drawn to the one-sidedness of the existing pedagogical model of gender approach, the lag in responding to the challenges of the modern era, the weak consideration of historical experience by pedagogical science. This model is focused on the psychological, social, cultural aspects of behavior, and the problem is to consider a person. holistically in the process of education and upbringing. At one time, the anthropological approach was widely used in pedagogical science and educational practice at the turn of the XIX – XX centuries. The problem of gender identity is controversial and very important within the framework of the gender approach. A model of gender identity formation in the educational process is proposed. In this regard, some problems of modern education and approaches to their solution are noted. The role of gender identity in the socialization of the younger generation, maladaptive socialization, ways of activity (feminine and masculine ways of activity) is shown. This is all the more important, because in modern conditions, many negative factors (mass media, the Internet, mass culture) affect socialization. The proposed analysis of the problems of gender identity will help to understand the difficult tasks facing modern society

The article In Defense of Human Identity: the Reality of Globalization as the Cause of Modernization of Modern Educational Systems is an attempt to reflect on the role of the educational process in the context of the value system offered in the modern world. It appears that authentic human participation in the reality of global and involuntary compliance with the directives of globalism is both a crisis of identity, of its existence, values, norms, and all human activities. Efforts taken to demonstrate the value of dogma, which carries with it an affirmation of the modern world, and conformist standards of conduct, is to notice the risk of objective truth about man and reality. Civilization implies in fact a kind of order to eradicate what is human. The human drama shows an almost total devotion to the values of functionalism and utility. Therefore, it is vital for modern education to return to the personal dimension of human existence. This accomplishment, a full range of education, which means clarifying the challenges confronting it, is only possible with recognizing and highlighting the personal status of the man based on the personalistic norm. This article helps the contemporary human being to realize the importance of learning to respect human dignity and to protect the identity of a mature man

The article deals with the research of axiological nature of the theory and practice of modern education. The problem is relevant in that education can be the key to solving the global problems of the modern world. The more popular the knowledge of people, their experience, abilities, skills, their professional and personal qualities in social development, the more important education is. Improvement and modernization of national education systems is becoming the leading direction of the sustainable development strategy of many states of the modern world. Consequently, the philosophical understanding of the educational process, in particular the definition of the values of education is relevant. The authors substantiate that, given the diversity of educational values, they can be divided into two main groups: the values of maintaining the existing order of things and the values of its transformation. In various worldview systems, the problem of the values of education is resolved in different ways. The article gives the basic ideas of representatives of such systems: classical realism, essentialism, perinalism, analytical philosophy, experimentalism, existentialism, neo-Freudianism.Analyzing the views of researchers, the authors of the article attribute free ideological self-determination to the cardinal values of education as the main mission, which provides the conditions for the free self-determination of each person in the worldview world to accept their own values in the form of life goals, main motives and interests, aspirations, needs, principles, etc.It is substantiated that the axiological guidelines of education should be associated primarily with the orientation of education towards the interests of the individual – a free, creative person, capable of self-realization. The mission of education is to find an individual approach to a person, to contribute to the realization of his personal potential, internal, unconscious, even irrational needs (otherwise this culturally unrealized potential can become destructive for both the individual and society). Thus, education should be aimed at the formation of fundamental foundations that will allow a person to solve worldview problems, make a moral, legal or ideological choice, navigate in the modern sociocultural situation. The authors emphasize that in a modern dynamic society, value-semantic variability and the influence of the accelerated development of education on the formation of social innovations are necessary. The dynamically changing conceptual field of modern educational practices, the desire and attempts to humanize education are favorable factors for the creation and implementation of the concept of modern education. The humanization of education is aimed at creating a sustainable and flexible value attitude to the world. The universal value horizon, the idea of universal values are not reflected in modern cultural practices. On the one hand, culture becomes value-oriented, its phenomena become subject to assessment, its values are structured and organized, on the other hand, obvious value pluralism, poly-paradigmalism, relativism and simplification of values as such. Thus, the analysis of theoretical studies on the value aspects of education, and the study of the possibilities that arise as a result of the humanization of education, allow us to state: only as a result of changes in the content of education in the context of its humanization it is possible to talk about the transition to understanding a specialist as a harmoniously developed personality, which is the ultimate purpose of education. The primary task is to eliminate the discrepancy between the generally accepted and declared values, on the one hand, and their implementation, primarily in the minds of participants in the educational process, on the other.

A worthy response to competitive challenges will be a special university program in legal linguistics, where linguistic expertise will have a solid qualification basis in the complex of modern linguistic and legal knowledge.

The authors believe that the strategy of modern education should be aimed at updating the content of education and developing mechanisms for its mastering in accordance with the realities of the modern world and the psychology of present-day childhood. The article reveals the ways of finding answers to the issues, which are topical for modern education, namely, how to convey to pupils the necessary amount of fundamental and most modern knowledge, how to ensure knowledge acquisition, how to spark children's interest in learning the world, and teach them to apply acquired knowledge in practice. Based on the research in the field of cognitive psychology and pedagogy of art, the authors distinguish the factors of creative cognition, describing the "ART+" cross-cultural pedagogical technology and its principles, as well as provide guidelines on the application of technology in the educational process of secondary school to make the learning process fun and creative.

The dynamics of the development of the modern world has greatly exacerbated the cause of education and formation of ideological foundations of the younger generation. The crisis of technogenic civilization, the new challenges of time, make educators produce optimal mechanisms for influencing the spiritual formation of young people. Christian tradition and morality are the foundation of participatory civilization and a system of universal moral and ethical values. Today, Ukrainian society, deprived of its opportunity to give its children a moral and spiritual foundation, needs a return to the sources - the education of young people on the basis of Christian morality. The introduction of Christian values in the educational process is a real alternative to the spiritlessness, moral crisis, pseudo-values of modern mass culture.

The purpose and tasks of the work are to analyze the contemporary Ukrainian mass culture in terms of its value and humanistic components, as well as the importance of cultural studies and Ukrainian studies in educational disciplines for the formation of a holistic worldview of modern youth.Analysis of research and publications. Scientists repeatedly turned to the problems of the role of spirituality in the formation of society and its culture. This problem is highlighted in the publications by O. Losev, V. Lytvyn, D. Likhachev, S. Avierintsev, M. Zakovych, I. Stepanenko and E. Kostyshyn.Experts see the main negative impact of mass culture on the quality approach, which determines mass culture through the market, because mass culture, from our point of view, is everything that is sold and used in mass demand. One of the most interesting studies on this issue was the work by the representatives of Frankfurt School M. Horkheimer and T. Adorno «Dialectics of Enlightenment» (1947), devoted to a detailed analysis of mass culture. Propaganda at all socio-cultural levels in the form is similar in both totalitarian and democratic countries. It is connected, according to the authors, with the direction of European enlightenment. The tendency to unify people is a manifestation of the influence of mass culture, from cinema to pop. Mass culture is a phenomenon whose existence is associated with commerce (accumulation in any form – this is the main feature of education), in general, the fact that it exists in this form is related to the direction of the history of civilization.Modern mass culture, with its externally attractive and easily assimilated ideas and symbols, appealing to the trends of modern fashion, becomes a standard of prestigious consumption, does not require intense reflection, allows you to relax, distract, not teach, but entertains, preaches hedonism as the main spiritual value. And as a consequence, there are socio-cultural risks: an active rejection of other people, which leads to the formation of indifference; cruelty as a character trait; increase of violent and mercenary crime; increase in the number of alcohol and drug addicts; anti-patriotism; indifference to the values of the family and as a result of social orphanhood and prostitution. Conclusions, perspectives of research. Thus, we can conclude that modern Ukrainian education is predominantly formed by the values of mass culture. Namely, according to the «Dialectic» by Horkheimer and Adorno, «semi-enlightenment becomes an objective spirit» of our modern society. It is concluded that only high-quality education can create the opposite of the onset of mass culture and the destruction of spirituality in our society. It is proved that only by realizing the importance of cultivating disciplines in the educational process and the spiritual upbringing of the nation, through educational reforms, humanitarian knowledge will gradually return to student audiences.Formation of youth occurs under the influence of social environment, culture, education and self-education. The optimal combination of these factors determines both the process of socialization itself and how successful it will be. In this context, one can see the leading role of education and upbringing. It turns out that the main task of modern education is to spread its influence on the development of spiritual culture of the individual, which eventually becomes a solid foundation for the formation of the individual. Such a subject requires both philosophical and humanitarian approaches in further integrated interdisciplinary research, since the availability of such research will provide the theoretical foundation for truly modern educational and personal development.
