The current study aimed to know the level of the phenomenon of cyber bullying among university students، and the relationship between practicing this behavior "cyber bullying" and psychological loneliness. The researchers applied the cyber bullying scale to find out the level of this phenomenon among the students. Also، they applied the measure of psychological loneliness to determine the level of the feeling of psychological loneliness among the students. The sample of the study consisted of (133) female students of the College of Education at Umm Al-Qura University، included all College specialties and all levels of study during the first semester of the academic year 1440 AH. The results of the study showed that the mean averages of all expressions of the cyber bullying scale ranged between (medium and high). This means that the terms of the scale illustrate the reality of female students in practicing the behaviors that express cyber bullying. The mean averages of all expressions of the psychological loneliness scale were medium، which indicate that the sample members also suffer from psychological loneliness. The results also showed a statistically significant correlation between the psychological loneliness and the behavior of cyber bullying at 0.05 level.

\<p>The study aimed to identify the nature of the relationship between dialogue culture of college of education students at Najran University and their psychological compatibility. In addition, it aimed to define the impact of age variable on this culture. It also tried to explore the possibility of predicting the level of these students’ psychological compatibility by variables of dialogue culture. The study instruments involved a scale for measuring university students’ dialogue culture prepared by the researchers in addition to a test for psychological compatibility prepared by Shoqir (2003). The sample consisted of all students enrolled in “Learning Disabilities” course in the second semester of the academic year 2014/2015. Findings showed a significant positive correlation (α=0.01) between students’ dialogue culture and all dimensions of their psychological compatibility. There were differences between 19-year old students group and 22-year old students group in favor of the latest due to cognitive, affectional and behavioral levels of dialogue culture. Findings also indicated that the three dimensions of dialogue culture (cognitive, affectional and behavioral) could predict the psychological compatibility levels of students of “Learning Disabilities” course at the college of education.</p>

This study aimed at identifying the attitudes of students enrolled in the Introduction to Education course at Karak University College towards e-learning and its applications in light of its relationship to some variables. The population of the study consisted of students enrolled in the Introduction to Education course in the Department of Educational and Social Sciences at Karak University College in the first semester of the academic year (2020 -2021) The study was applied to the entire population of the study, whose number was (75) male and female students. The study used the descriptive approach and applied a scale to identify students' attitude towards e-learning and its applications. The tool consisted of (39) items and graded on a five-degree scale. The results of the study showed that the students ’attitudes towards e-learning and its applications came as follows. 12 paragraphs of the scale were within the positive high attitudes, while the remaining 27 paragraphs had a neutral attitude and there were no negative attitudes. The mean scores of the scale was (2.94), which indicated that the students ’attitudes were overall neutral. The results of the study also showed that there were no statistically significant differences between the responses of the study sample about their attitudes towards e-learning and its applications according to their academic achievement. The results also showed no statistically significant differences between students' responses about their attitudes towards e-learning and its applications according to their different experiences in the fields of e-learning, and in favor of the sample members with average experience.

Background and aims: Nowadays, with the advancement of science and technology, lifestyle has changed and fast foods are being commonly consumed. Due to their special circumstances, university students are susceptible to stress, anxiety, and bad nutritional patterns and, because of the consumption of high amounts of fat and salt and physical inactivity, are at increased risk of overweight and obesity. Therefore, the present research was conducted to study the relationship between the consumption of fast foods and perceived stress level among female students of Shahrekord University of Medical Sciences. Methods: The present research was a descriptive-analytical study conducted on female students of different faculties and majors in Shahrekord University of Medical Sciences in the academic year 2016-2017. From the study population, 152 students were selected as the samples using random cluster sampling method. Data were collected using a demographic information questionnaire (age, major, parents’ education level, education level, and place of residence), a standard 14-item scale for the measurement of perceived stress level, and a checklist to record the frequency of fast foods consumption in university and home or dormitory (daily, weekly, and monthly). Data analysis was conducted using descriptive and analytical tests (chi-squared, independent t test, and Spearman’s and Pearson’s correlation coefficients) in SPSS 18. Participation in the study was voluntary. Results: Results showed 45.4% of participants aged 18-20, 16.4% of whom were studying in public health, and 85.8% were BSc students. The mean scores of perceived stress and fast foods consumption were 51.36±13.52 and 12.42±5.42, respectively. There was a significant relationship between age and perceived stress (P=0.000), and between mother’s education level and perceived stress (P=0.011). There was no significant relationship between the mean score of perceived stress and fast foods consumption in participants (P=0.072) Conclusion: Considering the level of perceived stress and fast foods consumption in university students, it is necessary to apply effective patterns and theories of health education and promotion and also to direct attention to interpersonal and environmental factors to reduce stress and encourage healthy eating habits.

The research aims to identify the causal model that explains the relationship between academic bullying, psychological immunity, and suicidal thinking among university students. Besides, it recognizes gender differences in research variables. The sample has consisted of (134) male and (139) female students from Prince Sattam bin Abdul-Aziz University and King Faisal University for the academic year 2020-2021. The researcher prepared the academic bullying scale and the suicidal thinking scale, and the psychological immunity scale was taken from the study of Al-Takhaina. The study has shown a statistically significant correlation between academic bullying and suicidal thinking. There are statistically significant differences between males and females in academic bullying and suicidal thinking favoring females. The results have also shown statistically significant differences between males and females in psychological immunity favoring males. The research recommends launching counseling and training programs for both bullies and bullying victims to gain insight into their behaviors and rectify them.

This study aimed to investigate the relationship between motivation and academic performance in chiropractic students. This was a cross-sectional study. Three hundred and sixty-two students were recruited from the 1st and 3rd quarters during the 2017-2018 academic year. Out of 362 students, 305 completed the Inventory of School Motivation (ISM). Total scores from the 1st quarter General Anatomy course and the 3rd quarter Immunology/Endocrinology course were used to measure the 1st quarter and 3rd quarter academic performance, respectively. The mean total motivation score for all students was 28.40 ± 3.79 (mean ± SD). There was no signi?cant difference in total motivation score between students in the two quarters (p > .05). The mean of the 1st quarter praise scores was statistically significantly higher than those of the 3rd quarter (p < .05). The means of three motivation subscale scores for females were signi?cantly higher than that for males (task, effort, and praise, p < .05) while the mean competition score for males was signi?cantly higher than that for females (p < .01). The linear analysis demonstrated a weak but statistically significant correlation of task (r = .11, p < .05) and effort (r = .13, p < .05) with academic performance indicating that task and effort were minor predictors of academic outcome (p < .05).There was a weak, but statistically significant positive correlation between the three motivation subscales and academic performance. Female students scored significantly higher on three motivation subscales while males scored higher on one.

Learning and teaching synonyms for Iraqi EFL students is a difficult task. Learning synonyms means learning how words can be related to each other. Understanding synonyms helps students to understand the meaning of the word easily and avoid mistakes committed in synonyms as a result of their knowledge concerning this area. Iraqi EFL students face difficulties in using appropriate synonyms. This study was conducted in the Department of English, College of Education for Women, University of Baghdad, to indicate first-year students’ incompetence in using synonyms. The participants of this study, fifty female students during the first semester, were chosen randomly for the academic year 2019-2020. In order to achieve the aim of this study, the researcher used pre and posttest as tools for collecting data. The data was analyzed by the SPSS program. Figures and tables were used to present the data. The present study reveals the difficulties that occurred when Iraqi EFL students used synonyms. This is due to the need for information about English equivalent words, then suggests suitable solutions for them. Also this study reveals that the domains theory has indeed been demonstrated to be effective in precisely understanding the semantic domains of English lexical concepts.

The current study aimed to reveal the cyber-bullying (bully – victim) among university students in Jordan regarding specialization, GPA, birth order, age, and gender. To achieve the objectives of the study, the Cyber-bullying (bully – victim) scale, developed by (Al-Shennawi, 2014), was applied after verifying its psychometric properties. The study sample included 400 male and female students (105 males, 295 females) selected through a stratified random sampling in the academic year of 2019/ 2020. According to the bullying, the study results indicated that the Cyber-bullying level (bully) was low. The results also showed statistically significant differences in the overall degree of Cyber-bullying (bully) due to specialization in favor of Science Faculties and gender in favor of males. The results also indicated no statistically significant differences in the overall degree of Cyber-bullying (bully) due to GPA, birth order, and age. As for Cyber-bullying (the victim), the results showed that the level of the Cyber-bullying (the victim) was low. The results also indicated statistically significant differences in the overall degree of the Cyber-bullying (the victim) attributed to birth order in favor of the last son and gender in favor of males. The results also indicated no statistically significant differences in the overall degree of the Cyber-bullying (the victim) attributed GPA, specialization, and age. The study recommends more care and monitoring for males and their last son, according to their birth order, to protect them from cyberbullying

Identifying the level of suggestibility and emotional thinking among university students is the key aim of this research, as well as identifying the significance of differences according to gender (males - females), and the correlation between the two variables. In order to verify this, the researchers adopted the measure of suggestibility prepared by "Roman Kotov" (2004), Arabized by (Abdul Rahman 2014), where the number of its final paragraphs reached (79) paragraphs, and adopted the scale of emotional thinking prepared by Abdullah 2017). The scale consisted of (27) final paragraphs, and their psychometric characteristics were ascertained, where the two tools were applied to a sample of (160) male and female students who were selected in a stratified random method from four colleges at the University of Baghdad: (College of Political Science and College of Education / Ibn Rushd, College of Engineering, and College of Science), for the academic year 2019-2020. The results of the research showed the following: University students do not have a tendency to suggestibility. There are no differences between (males and females) in suggestibility. University students have emotional thinking. There are no differences between (male and female) in emotional thinking. There is no correlation between suggestibility and emotional thinking among university students.

This article discusses the needs and interests of the university students in Banten Indonesia for learning to write with an integrative approach as an initial stage in the development of academic writing textbooks. The participants in this study were 60 students in the first semester of the 2018/2019 academic year who took an Indonesian language course. It was found that students were familiar with writing activities. But the majority were limited to non-academic genres such as writing poetry, short stories, and writing personal blogs. Also, students have almost the same problems in academic writing, both from linguistic aspects, technical aspects, to issues of developing writing ideas. Another thing that was found in this study was the participation of lecturers who they expected in guiding and providing input during academic writing learning.

<p>The research tackled the academic intrinsic motivation and its relationship with the emotional intelligence with a sample of the academic overachievers and underachievers of Najran University. The study population consisted of the students of Najran University who are enrolled in the University academic year 2015/2016, during the first semester in the various colleges. The study sample consisted of (423) male and female students; and the study instruments included the emotional IQ which consisted of (54) items, and the academic intrinsic motivation questionnaire, which consisted of (36) items, to identify the overall emotional intelligence degree and the motivation with the students. The results showed that the academic intrinsic motivation and emotional intelligence degrees were high with the university students. Furthermore, the results showed a direct correlational, statistically significant relationship between the academic intrinsic motivation and the emotional intelligence; and there are statistically significant differences between the motivation and emotional intelligence among the academically outstanding and non-outstanding students.</p>
