This study investigates the phenomenon of the public linguistic landscape, which reveals the use of language in the Tiban Mosque in Malang, East Java. The goal of this research was to describe the language contestation practiced in the Tiban mosque. Furthermore, the purpose of this research is to describe the function of language in the linguistic landscape at the Tiban Malang mosque. The collected data was then classified as monolingual, bilingual, or multilingual. The qualitative descriptive method is used in this linguistic landscape study. Data is collected by observing the location, photographing the object building, and documenting it. According to the findings of this study, the linguistic landscape in the vicinity of the Tiban Malang Mosque is dominated by monolingual and bilingual speakers. This is used to make it easier for visitors and tourists to visit the Tiban mosque's religious tourism area.

The e-retribution public service innovation by the Surakarta City Trade Office is a new concept regarding the online levy payment system. First launched in mid-2016, E-retribution as part of the implementation of smart government is included in the smart city indicator. This study uses the typology theory of public service innovation Muluk (2008). Research location in the city trade office Surakarta, with a qualitative descriptive method. The data collection technique was obtained by purposive sampling through informant interviews, observations and documents. The results show that the public service innovation with the e-retribution program can simplifying public services and saving more time, costs and human resources, ensuring accountable transactions. In addition, E-retribution has an impact on increasing Solo Local Revenue every year.

Public Relations of Headquarters of the Indonesian Armed Forces (TNI Headquarters) must work with the Government Public Relations strategy to maintain a reputation by maintaining credibility, trustworthiness, reliability, and responsibility in delivering positive news to the internal and external public. This study aims to see how the government public relations strategy of the Indonesian National Armed Forces Information Center (Puspen TNI) maintained the reputation of the TNI institution. The method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive method by interviewing the Head of Puspen TNI, non-participant observation, and documentation. The results showed that Puspen TNI in maintaining the reputation of the TNI, first, maintained credibility by measuring the objectivity and quality of the news. Second, it proclaimed information about TNI and the contribution of the TNI to the nation-state to the public through mass media and social media. Third, it disseminated the news according to the facts. Forth, it reported the performance of the TNI to the external and internal public regarding responsibility to the state and nation professionally and proportionally by providing information delivered directly through the TNI website, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube and TV public relations TNI Streaming produced by Puspen TNI. It also maintained good relations between external media and editor in chief and journalists of print, electronic and online media.

It is a fact that language is dynamic, and nothing can not stop it from changing. This dynamism has implications for the use of various languages among Indonesians. The youth mostly uses it because they are active and massive users of technology and social media. This research aims to describe the form and character of the linguistic variation of slang which is popularly used by the millennial generation. In this study, data is taken from social media, and direct informants then analyzed using a qualitative descriptive method. The results showed that four types of linguistic variation of slang which is popularly used by the millennial generation such phonology (32,29%), morphology (22,92%), syntax (4,17%), and semantics aspect (40, 63%). Based on the results, the millennial generation’s most dominant type of semantics aspect with 39 data (40, 63%). It means that millennials preferred using more slang utterances modified in semantic elements. Millennials did not completely change or create many new meanings. They retained the meanings of existing references only in the forms of new terms.

Language has an important role in everyday human life in society. Jargon is a kind of language that is only used by certain communities as daily communication among its members. The jargon used by the transgender community is very interesting to understand because the jargon has its own form and meaning in its disclosure and can find out how the variety of jargon-shaped language used by transgenders in hiding their secrets so as not to be known by the public. It is evident that not all users of other languages understand the jargon. In this study, the researchers analyzed the jargon used by the waria community in the salon. This study aims to determine the jargon and describe and understand the meaning of the jargon used by the transgender community in interacting orally. The source of the research data was obtained from the subject, namely the transgender women who worked at the Retah salon in Pamulang, who used jargon in their daily communication with transgender women and sometimes with their customers. The method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive method, which describes and conveys data objectively. Describe the jargon terms of transgender language as the object of research. The data collection technique used is observation or see and note. The result of this research is the jargon used by waria in the form of transgender language vocabulary. Based on the results of the data analysis, it was found that 20 pieces of jargon used by transgender women in the salon were akika, rapose, capcus, endang gurindang, ink, sekong, belenjong, cucok, metong, hamidah, lekong, sapose, capcay, begindang, bala-bala, sindang. , lambreta, grasshopper, mesong, and mursida.Keywords: Waria, Jargon, Vocabulary

Abstrak:Media massa mengalami perkembangan yang pesat, selain menyampaikan informasi kepada masyarakat media juga memiliki tugas mendidik publik melalui literasi media. Dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat peranan program reporter on campus dalam upaya menumbuhkembangkan literasi media khususnya di kalangan mahasiswa. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa program reporter on campus sangat menunjang kemampuan mahasiswa baik dalam aspek teoritis maupun aplikatif.Kata Kunci: Radio, Reporter on Campus, Mahasiswa JurnalistikAbstract: The mass media experienced development fastly, in addition to conveying information to the media community also had the task of educating the public through media literacy. Using qualitative descriptive method, this study aims to see the role of on campus reporter program in an effort to develop media literacy, especially among students. Literary works created by writers to be enjoyed, understood, and utilized by the community by using language as a medium. Literature is a language essay on socio-cultural issues in the form of getting positive judgments from the public. The use of the mystical language of the palace was able to penetrate far geographical location to rural and mountainous areas. Social, cultural and political factors led them to mesanggrah and alienated into the area of Brang Wetan commonly known Mataraman region. Majority, Kepanjen society is Java Mataraman estany which still holds closely to ancestral tradition. Some forms of local wisdom are still carried out today, one of them is Serat Wulangreh written by Sri Susuhunan Paku Buwono IV in Surakarta Hadiningrat In the government of 1788-1820. Javanese people are very concerned about the teachings in Fiber Wulangreh and practiced in everyday life. Wulangreh fiber is a characteristic of Indonesian culture that has high literary value, aesthetics, education and philosophy. In Fiber Wulangreh there is a living doctrine: Understanding the sense of life, sharpening the inner eye, avoiding the arrogant attitude, the duty of the living, the filial piety, and the service to the king. These teachings became guidance and guidance for the Javanese ethnic community Mataraman Kepanjen, the community has consistently preserved until now. Therefore, this phenomenon is very interesting to be careful because this phenomenon occurs in a society that is experiencing changes in all aspects (social, cultural, economic, and globalization). Based on the above description, this paper will describe: (a) how is Fiber Wulangreh practiced as a moral and intellectual teaching (b) how is Serat Wulangreh practiced as a living doctrine, and (c) how is the relevance of Wulangreh literary life teaching to ethnic Javanese mataram in Kepanjen Malang Regency. This qualitative research involves the active participation of researchers on the object of the study. Interviews conducted by researchers to obtain data on various matters related to Fiber Wulangreh Data analysis of village monograph in the analysis with qualitative descriptive method to what extent Fiat Wulangreh live and grow in society.

This research aims to describe the function and role of the television in preserving Palembang language. The method used in this research is qualitative descriptive method. The data were collected from direct interviews to seven informants reside in Palembang with various backgrounds, professions and education levels to discover the impact of Palembang-speaking local television station. The research shows that national television stations have not performed their role in education and language preservation as they should be. The level of local language preservation in national television stations is still low. This condition is covered by the presence of local stations, such as PAL TV. Televisions can be a strategic tool in language preservation with proper management by adding diverse programs that are in accordance with the public interests.  ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan fungsi dan peran televisi dalam pelestarian bahasa Palembang. Adapun metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskripptif kualitatif. Data di peroleh dari wawancara langsung kepada tujuh narasumber yang berdomisisli di kota Palembang, beragam latar belakang, profesi, dan tingkat pendidikan untuk mengetahui dampak adanya televisi lokal berbahasa Palembang. Temuan penelitian ini adalah stasiun televise berjaringan nasional belum menjalankan fungsinya edukasi dan pelestarian bahasa daerah sebagaimana mestinya. Tingkat pelestarian bahasa lokal pada televise berjaringan nasional masih rendah. Kekurangan televise berjaringan ini sedikit tertutupi dengan hadirnya televise lokal, seperti PAL TV. Televisi dapat menjadi sarana strategis dalam pelestarian bahasa dengan pengelolaan yang baik berupa penambahan acara yang beragam dan sesuai dengan minat masyarakat.

The purpose of this study was to analyze and describe the public perception of traffic jam in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and analyze the factors that caused traffic jam in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. Data collection techniques use observation, interviews and documentation as data collection instruments. Furthermore, the data will be analyzed using qualitative descriptive analysis. The type of data used is primary data. Primary data in the form of observations, interviews and documentation. The results of this study revealed 1) public perception of traffic jam in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, the condition of traffic jam in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia is still quite severe, especially during rush hours, among others, in the morning when people leave for work, go to school and others etc., during the day during lunchtime, and in the afternoon when people will return home. Jam also occurs around tourist attractions in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. 2) Factors causing traffic jam in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, caused by the increasing ownership of private vehicles, the low price of cars, public vehicles do not have their own lines. And the community is still reluctant to use public transportation.

Reseach in designed with a qualitative approach. Thi issues to be discussed  between laun (1) How was  the process of implementing independent science learning “Merdeka Belajar” in the early age children at home TK Werdhi Kumara Punggul. (2) Is the tone of chidren aged in the learning era humbled at kindergarten weerdi Kumara Punggul. The aim of this research is to describe learning process, describes the efforts that in the proses teacing of sains at TK Werdi Kumara Punggul. Theory used for analyzing the problem is the constructivist theory of piaget, this research was carried out from Nopember 2020 to February 2021 with research location at TK werdi Kumara Punggul,  Abiansemal, District Badung regency. The research subjects were teachers, children aged 4-5 years which amounted to 5 children. The method used in this  study is qualitative descriptive method. data collection techniques through observation direct  interviews, documentation and literature study data analysis techniques  used analysis and arranged in a description data reduction, presentation and drawing conclusions the results of the study sho the process of applying the media learning science “Merdeka Belajar” in earli childhood diera learning at home divided into 3 stages, namely the planning, implementation and evaluation stages, with the learning method used namely telling stories, questios and answere.</em></p>

<p><span lang="IN">This study aims to describe the language variation phenomena in the form of indoglish and idiolect in the Girl Squad public figures on Instagram social media. This research is qualitative research with a qualitative descriptive method. The data in this study are in the form of captions or written expressions on Girl Squad’s Instagram uploads. Data sources were obtained from public social media Instagram of Girl Squad member figures. Data collection techniques are collected through documentation, listening, and note-taking. Data analysis was carried out in the interactive study by classifying data taken in written expressions on the Instagram caption of Girl Squad members who then organized and concluded indoglish languages and Idioms. The result of this study indicates the indoglish phenomenon that occurs in the upload of written expressions on the public Instagram figure of Girl Squad. Also, idiolect was found in several public members of the Girl Squad figure. Indoglish language patterns found include (1) prefix insertions, (2) suffix insertions, and (3) pronouns. Idiolect language patterns found include (1) word emphasis, (2) adaptation, (3) creation or formation of new words, and (4) contemporary language.</span></p>
