The argumentation skill is one of the supporting abilities in determining the quality of thinking in the era of the 4.0 revolution. The development of argumentation skills is important to be implemented in solving physics problems, especially in exploring how they solve problems and understand concepts so that misconceptions do not occur. This study aims to determine the improvement of students' argumentation skills in solving electrical concept problems before and after the intervention. This type of research uses a mixed method model research method with an embedded experimental design. The research subjects consisted of 32 students of the Department of Physics Education at Musamus University who had or are currently taking the magnetic electricity course. The results showed that students' argumentation skills improved along with the help of worksheets assisted with representation formats during lectures

ABSTRAK Tidur merupakan kebutuhan yang harus terpenuhi terutama pada fase perkembangan karena selama tidur akan terjadi perkembangan otak maupun tubuh, sehingga gangguan tidur merupakan masalah yang akan menimbulkan dampak buruk terhadap pertumbuhan dan perkembangan bayi. Kualitas tidur bayi yang baik dapat diciptakan dengan memberikan pemijatan bayi secara rutin. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuktikan bahwa pemijatan dapat mempengaruhi kualitas tidur bayi umur 0-3 bulan. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian Quasy Eksperimental dengan metode One Group Pretest-Postest. Sampel 22 bayi yang dipilih dengan tehnik Total Sampling yang di observasi sebelum dan sesudah diberikan pemijatan. Variabel yang diukur dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitas tidur bayi 0-3 bulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada pengaruh pijat bayi terhadap kualitas tidur bayi umur 0-3 bulan (p value  0,008 < α = 0,05).Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini disarankan agar keluarga dan masyarakat memberikan pemijatan secara rutin dan mandiri untuk meningkatkan kebutuhan tidur bayi yang berkualitas.   ABSTRACT Sleep is a human necessity that must be met, especially in the development phase because during sleep will occur the brain and body developments, so that sleep disturbance is a problem that would cause adverse effects on infants’ growth and development. The good quality of sleep can be created by providing the infants massage routinely. This study aimed to prove that the massage could affect the quality of sleep on the 0-3 months old baby. This study used Quasy-experimental design with One Group Pretest-Posttest. The sample 22 infants selected by total sampling technique observed on before and after the massage. The variables measured in this study are the quality of sleep. The results of study indicate that there is an effect of infant massage to the sleep quality on 0-3 months old babies (p value 0,008 < α = 0,05).Based on the results of this study it recommended for the families and communities to provide infant massage regularly and independently to increase the quality of sleep on the baby.

In administering fluoride through drinking water there is the risk of overdose, higher cost and inadequate availability of drinking water containing fluoride in developing countries like Indonesia. A safe fluoride source is contained in toothpaste. The purpose of this research was to obtain data concerning difference in saliva pH before and after brushing with toothpaste containing fluoride and without toothpaste. The research method used was the quasi-experimental method. Samples were collected by the way of purposive sampling, conducted on 43 male and female research subjects. The data were analyzed by statistical analysis using the t test at 95% confidence level. In this research a control group consisting of 43 people was used. Research results indicated that the average saliva pH before brushing was 7.174; after brushing with fluoride containing toothpaste salivary pH was 7.593. Result research of brushing without toothpaste showed an average saliva of 7.163 before brushing and 7.379 after brushing without toothpaste. The average changes in saliva pH before and after brushing using fluoride containing toothpaste was 0.216. The conclusion of this research was that there was significant difference in saliva pH before and after brushing with toothpaste containing fluoride; there was significant difference in saliva pH before and after brushing without toothpaste, and there was significant difference in saliva pH before and after brushing with toothpaste containing fluoride and without toothpaste.

The purpose of this research is to examine the educational technology developer team as an important program in schooling, especially by analyzing its compatibility with the school system and conditions. By using mixed method and research and development model this research adressing the elementary and secondary school in Semarang and other district. The results showed that this program is compatible with school system and could overcome lots of school problem i.e. the lack of teacher competency on developing lesson plan, learning media, the lack of human resource developmen division in school, the continuity of teacher quality improvement program, dan the quality of school management. But several teacher and school’s management are irresponsive to the program because its team member was university student, not the professional one. It is why in several school the program cannot running well as expected. Eventhough overall the program experiment is succesful.ABSTRAKPenelitian ini diarahkan untuk mengetahui implementasi gagasan tim pengembang teknologi pendidikan di sekolah, terutama mengenai kompatibilitas gagasan dengan konteks dan kondisi riil di sekolah. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dan kualitatif serta model research and development (R & D), penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada jenjang pendidikan dasar dan menengah di Kota Semarang dan sekitarnya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa gagasan prototipe tim pengembang teknologi pendidikan di sekolah kompatibel dengan konteks dan kondisi sekolah. Problem kualitas guru dalam mengembangkan rencana pembelajaran, media belajar, termasuk keberlanjutan program peningkatan kualitas guru, manajemen sekolah, dan tiadanya divisi pengembangan sumber daya manusia, dapat diatasi oleh tim pengembang teknologi pendidikan. Fakta di lapangan memang menunjukkan beberapa sekolah tempat uji implementasi gagasan tersebut tidak dapat maksimal dalam penerapannya, namun hal tersebut bukan disebabkan oleh kualitas gagasan, melainkan faktor sosiokultural sekolah itu sendiri. Komposisi tim pengembang teknologi pendidikan di sekolah yang masih mahasiswa S1 diidentifikasi menjadi faktor penghambatnya. Research has been carried out on the development of teaching aid for measuring water debit using an Arduino based flow sensor as a medium of fluid learning in order to determine the feasibility of a water discharge measuring instrument developed as a fluid learning media. This research is development research consisting of the stages of data collection, product design, design validity, design revision, limited trials. The research subjects for the limited trial were the 4th-semester students of the Physics Education Study Program, Muhammadiyah University Purworejo with 19 students. The product developed is a water discharge measuring device that uses an Arduino-based flow sensor as a fluid learning media through the validation stage by experts. Furthermore, the product is revised and limited to trial. From the results of the trial of the tool carried out the Water Discharge Gauge using an Arduino-based Flow Sensor obtained a debit of (3.80 ± 0.13) liters/minute. While the data from the test results taken manually were debit at (3.55 ± 0.31) liters/min. With a relative error that is very small, with a comparison of sensor and manual measurement data on water discharge of 3.40%. This shows the value of the measurement accuracy is very good. From the results of the validation carried out by the validator namely expert lecturers and peers, it was found that the quality of the teaching aids was included in the excellent category with an average percentage of 76% and the quality of the guidebook was included in the excellent category with an average percentage gain of 78%. A limited trial was conducted by conducting a practicum using a water discharge measuring instrument using an Arduino-based flow sensor, then the results of the student questionnaire responses resulted in a percentage value of 87.22% with very good criteria. Thus the Water Discharge Measuring Tool using Arduino Based Flow Sensors is feasible to be used in Fluid material experiments.

This study aims to findstudents improvements in learning to sing local folk songs in unison singing through peer tutor method in class VII.1 at SMP Negeri 6 Sijunjung. This research was conducted in March-July 2020. The research subjects were 30 studentsof class VII.1 at SMP Negeri 6 Sijunjung. This study applied peer tutor method in learning music in unisono singing and wasconducted in two cycles. Each cycle consisted of 2 meetings. The 2 meetings consisted of four stages: planning, implementing actions, observing, reflecting, and evaluating. The data were collected through field notes, observations, performance tests, and interviews. The data analysis conducted was the result of implementing the actions taken. The results show that there is an improvement in unisonosinging ability by using peer tutor method forstudents in class VII.1 at SMP Negeri 6 Sijunjung. This improvement can be seen in the quality of the process shown through students’enthusiasm and activeness in learning music.The improvement in the result quality can be seen from the increase in score and average before and after the implementation. The average value before implementation is 44.12. In the first cycle the average value increases to 70.03, and in the second cycle it increases to 84.19.The average from pre-action to cycle II has increased by 40.07 and has met the Minimum Completion Criteria which is 75. From the above research, it is known that peer tutor method succeeds in improving student learning outcomes in singing local folk songs in class VII.1 at SMP Negeri 6 Sijunjung.Keywords: improvement, singing students, unisono, peer tutoring methods

Tuberculosis (TB) disease intervention is a national program and being a target of MDGs. Therefore, a government determined minimum service standards of a hospital that had to be implemented in all health service units and hospitals in Indonesia. A strategy of DOTS at Aisyiyah Hospital in Muntilan had been available particularly in terms of case finding. Notwithstanding, a process of patient diagnosis had not been implemented in accordance with a standard of human resource. Number of medical officers at a TB DOTS unit was not sufficient. In addition, quality of information like completeness, accurateness in diagnosis, and timeliness in reporting TB cases had not achieved a target. The aim of this study was to develop decision support system of TB as an effort to systematically diagnose and manage data of TB based on the standard. This was qualitative-quantitative research. A qualitative method was used to identify each step of information system development. Meanwhile, a quantitative method was used to assess quality of information between before and after developing information system using pre-experimental design (the one group pre and posttest design). Qualitative data were collected by conducting indepth interview, whereas quantitative data were collected using checklist. Data were analysed using T test. Research object was decision support system before and after applying at TB unit at Aisyiyah Hospital in Muntilan. Research subjects consisted of four TB officers as main informants. Informants for triangulation purpose consisted of head of SIMRS and head of medical services. The results of T test showed that variables of completeness, accurateness, and preciseness after developing the decision support system were better than that of before developing the system (p-value = 0.000). As suggestions, head of SIMRS needs to conduct further development of decision support system of TB in another unit particularly in inpatient unit. The decision support system needs to be evaluated and adjusted with the standard.

<p><strong>Abstract:</strong> This study aims to explore students’ conceptual understanding of thermodynamic in ADI for STEM education. The study uses embedded experimental design methods. It involved 29 students of XI grade high school in Kupang. Instruments tes consisted of 13 reasoning multiple chooise questions. Wilcoxon test results is P=.000 with an average posttest higher than pretest shows that there is significant difference between students' conceptual understanding of before and after learning. The effect size value is 2,39. Students’ conceptual understanding of each indicator is also discussed.</p><strong>Abstrak:</strong><em> </em>Tujuan penelitian adalah mengetahui penguasaan konsep siswa pada materi termodinamika dalam pembelajaran <em>Argument Driven Inquiry (ADI) for STEM education</em>. Penelitian menggunakan <em>mixed method</em> desain <em>embedded experimental</em>. Penelitian melibatkan 29 siswa kelas XI SMA di Kupang. Instrumen tes berupa 13 soal penguasaan konsep pilihan ganda. Hasil uji Wilcoxon sebesar <em>p</em>=.000 menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara penguasaan konsep siswa sebelum dan sesudah pembelajaran. Nilai <em>effect size</em> sebesar 2,39 menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran <em>ADI for STEM education</em> berpengaruh kuat terhadap penguasaan konsep.

Productivity of onion (Allium cepa L.) in Kenya is constrained by postharvest losses. Most postharvest strategies applicable to onions are applied singularly, and therefore, their combined effects have not been well studied. This study evaluated the combined effects of harvesting stage, curing period, and time of topping on postharvest visual and keeping quality of red bulb onions. The study was carried out in Yatta Sub-County, Machakos County, Kenya. The experimental design was a split-split plot laid out in 3 × 3 × 2 factorial arrangement. The treatments consisted of harvesting stage (25%, 50%, and 75% top fall), curing period (none, 1 week, and 2 weeks) and time of topping (before and after curing). After three months of storage, the bulbs were assessed for visual and keeping quality using incidences of skin rots, skin colour, percent of marketable bulbs, residual weight of the bulbs after curing, and days to 50% sprouting. Bulbs that were harvested at 75% top fall and cured for one or two weeks before topping were found to have significantly better visual and keeping quality. Although seasonal variations were significant for some of the parameters assessed, a similar trend was observed in both seasons. The study recommends harvesting of onions at 75% top fall and curing for at least one week before topping for enhanced visual and keeping quality of harvested bulb onions.

Baby massage is useful for increasing the baby's concentration and making the baby sleep soundly. In addition to massage babies, increase milk production, and increase endurance. Based on the results of interviews with  20 mothers who had babies 6-12 months whose baby massage had been carried out, the average mother stated that there was an effect of increased appetite and good sleep quality in infants with data on weight gain in KMS. The research method used pre-experimental design, with the type of pre test and post test one group design and the results of this study were to use the Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test p = 0.005, there was the effectiveness of baby massage on baby weight gain and the Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test p = 0.025 There is effectiveness in the quality of sleep for infants aged 6-12 months
