This research aimed to identify types and ways of oral feedback used by teachers in EFL classroom interaction based on the theory of Tunstall & Gipss (1996), Lyster & Ranta (1997), Cullen (2002), and Mackiewicz & Thompson (2013). This research also investigated teachers’ reasons for using oral feedback and students’ perceptions of oral feedback used by teachers in EFL classroom interaction. This research was conducted at Senior high school in Indonesia. The researcher applied descriptive qualitative research method. The subjects of this research were 2 English teachers and 12 students. All of them were chosen by using purposive sampling technique. The instruments of this research were audio recording, field notes, and interview. The result of this research showed that the teachers used 5 types of oral feedback, namely evaluative feedback, corrective feedback, descriptive feedback, interactional feedback, and motivational feedback. The teachers used oral feedback through providing evaluative statements to students’ work or performance, indicating and correcting students’ errors explicitly or implicitly, informing students’ achievement and the improvement strategies of learning, clarifying and embellishing some ideas on students’ responses, and providing motivational statements to students. The teachers employed oral feedback because of teachers’ responsibility and obligation to provide it, the effective and efficient feedback mode, the utility of oral feedback, positive effect to students, and consequences of none of oral feedback. Mostly, the students perceived positively to oral feedback. Some students found felt sensitive to oral feedback. Nevertheless, they still realized to its positive effect on the result of their work or performance.

Special intelligent students are excellent human resources and are expected to make a major contribution to people's lives, including achievement in the academic field. With this extraordinary intelligence, special intelligent students should have high self-efficacy, but they are often found who are not confident in their abilities and have an impact on the learning achievement that is not optimal. This is because there are still some of them who do not have a good learning culture. This study aims to analyze the contribution of learning culture to the self-efficacy on special intelligent students in senior high school. This research was used a quantitative method with sampling based on the simple random sampling technique developed by Isaac and Michael. Data were collected using questionnaires, interviews, and documentation studies. Based on SPSS Ver.22 data processing, the results of the correlation test (r-test) show that there is a significant correlation between learning culture and self-efficacy of special intelligent students in a very strong and unidirectional level. The result shows that learning culture has a positive effect on the self-efficacy of special intelligent students. In the calculation of the coefficient of determination, it is known that the effect of learning culture on the self-efficacy of special intelligent students is 68.6%, while the remaining 31.4% is influenced by other factors not examined. It can be concluded that learning culture has a positive effect on the self-efficacy of special intelligent students. The better learning culture of special intelligent students, the higher their self-efficacy.

This study aimed at analyzing the cognitive dimension based on Revised BloomTaxonomy in reading questions in Look Ahead an English Course for Senior HighSchool Level 1, 2, & 3. This study used quantitative research design. The sampleswere 141 reading questions which taken by using random sampling technique byusing Statistical Program for Social Science (SPSS) version 20.0. in Look Aheadan English Course for Senior High School Level 1, 2, & 3. The data were analyzedby using Table analysis of cognitive dimension of Revised Bloom Taxonomy. Theanalysis showed that the most dominant cognitive dimension of Revised BloomTaxonomy in remembering dimension (57.45%). The second dominant cognitivedimension is understanding dimension (26.24%). The third dominant cognitivedimension is evaluating dimension (10.64%). The fourth dominant cognitivedimension is creating dimension (3.55%). The fifth dominant cognitive dimension isanalyzing dimension (2.13%). There was no cognitive dimension of applyingdimension that applied in reading question of the textbooks.

Online Game is a game that entertain which is by connected by a network, so that it can be played between one player and another player in different places. As a matter of fact, Online Game can have a negative impact, that is an addiction. Students who are addicted to play online game have been influenced by several factors, the factor of facility, individual factors, family factors, social factors, and the online game itself. An analysis that can be used to look at the factors that influence addiction online game in private senior high school students in the city of Padang is a logistic regression analysis.This type of research is experimental research and the population in this study are private senior high school students in Padang City who play online game on a smartphone. The sample in this research are about to 96 respondents and the sampling technique used was technique non probability sampling with the sampling method accidental sampling and using a questionnaire. Based on the research results, we obtained the factors that influence it and factors that significantly influence addiction online game in students private SMA is a facility, family, and types game online.

The purpose of this research is (1) analyze student’s concept in answering the association test, (2) analyze the concept of understanding  relationship  to  answer  the test depends on the student’s school origin.The method used in this research is qualitative with case study approach. In clustering sampling technique the subject was used in this research is 6 students, shared  in  3  groups.  They  are  2  students come from public vocational school, 2 students come from public senior high school and 2 students come from private senior high school and vocational school. Data was collected through test and interview.   Data   analysis   used   in   this research refers to Milles and Huberman in Moellong’s book; they are data reduction, data display and conclusion drawing. The result showed that the student’s understanding is various enough in answering the  set  test.  Depending on  the first subject analysis (S1) who came from private school, he did not understand about the concept of set. The second subject analysis (S2) and the third subject analysis (S3)  who  came  from  public  school,  they had understood. But, they need to be careful and patient to avoid the mistakes. The data which  had  gained from deeply interview, showed that the subject analysis (S1), (S2) and (S3) were able to indicate the relationship of school origin with the student’s concept of understanding within answering the set test.

<em>The research aims to determine the environmental care attitude in Senior High School 1 Kayen. The research samples were the tenth-grade students, eleventh-grade students, and third-grade students of Social Science (IPS) class at Senior High School 1 Kayen. The research used Slovin formula to obtain 192 samples from the tenth grade, eleventh grade, and twelfth grade. The study used a random sampling technique. Questionnaires were used as the data collection techniques to measure knowledge about environmental care attitudes using calculation techniques of Likert scale and percentage formula. The result shows the students in Senior High have the moderate category on environmental care attitude, with a total frequency of 89 students consisting of tenth-grade students, eleventh-grade students, and twelfth-grade students in Social Science (IPS) class with a percentage score of 46,35%. In an attempt to increase students’ environmental care, we suggest several educational agents, such as Educational supervisors, Principals, and Teachers give the students examples of good actions to the environment in daily routine.</em>

This research explored the use of the ICARE Model to studying the writing ability at the Senior high school in Parepare. ICARE includes five essential elements of a good learning experience, can be applied to children, teenagers, and parents, namely Introduction, Connection, Application, Reflection, and Extension. This research involved a population from Senior high school in Parepare in the academic year 2015/2016. The students consist of two classes, an experimental class, and a control class. Each class consists of 36 students. This research utilized a cluster random sampling technique to select the sample. The instrument used in this research is the writing test. The data were analyzed by using t-test. The research reveals that there was a significant increase in students writing ability. This finding indicates that the mean score of the post-test of the experimental group is getting much better than the control class. It meant that using ICARE developed the students' ability in writing, and the writing component increased the highest is in the vocabulary aspect.

<p><strong>Abstract</strong></p><p>This research aimed to improve reading comprehension of public senior high school students by using Experience-Text-Relationship method. The research was done in two cycles and involved 31 eleventh-grade students of a public senior high school in SimpangDua, Ketapang in the Academic Year of 2018/2019. The researcher used observation field notes and reading tests to collect data of the study. A collaborator was involved during the observations and practices to build trustworthy of the study. The data from the observation field notes were analyzed qualitatively and the data from the reading test results were analyzed by using descriptive statistics. The analysis of the observation field notes shows that the students became active and polite, had high enthusiasm in the teaching and learning processes. The analysis of the reading test results also reveals that the students had improved their reading comprehension. In conclusion, Experience-Text-Relationship method can improve the students’ reading comprehension.</p><p> </p><p><strong><em>Abstrak</em></strong></p><p><em>Penelitian bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman membaca siswa SMA negeri menggunakan metode Experience-Text-Relationship. Penelitian ini menggunakan dua siklus dan melibatkan 31 siswa kelas sebelas siswa di salah satu SMA negeri di SimpangDua, Kabupaten Ketapang pada Tahun Akademik 2018/2019. Peneliti menggunakan catatan lapangan observasi dan tes membaca untuk mengumpulkan data penelitian. Seorang kolaborator dilibatkan selama pengamatan dan praktik untuk membangun penelitian yang dapat dipercaya. Data dari catatan lapangan observasi dianalisis secara kualitatif dan data dari hasil tes membaca dianalisis dengan menggunakan statistik deskriptif. Analisis catatan observasi lapangan menunjukkan bahwa siswa menjadi aktif dan sopan, memiliki antusiasme yang tinggi dalam proses belajar-mengajar. Analisis hasil tes membaca juga mengungkapkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan pemahaman membaca siswa. Kesimpulannya, metode </em>Experience-Text-Relationship <em>dapat</em><em> membantu meningkatkan pemahaman membaca siswa.</em></p>

Abstrak Keputihan sering kali dianggap suatu hal yang biasa sehingga sering diabaikan pentingnya pencegahan dan penanganan yang benar dan tepat. Jika remaja putri dapat mengenali gejala keputihan dan penanganannya maka remaja putri dapat beraktivitas dengan nyaman, aman, dan sehat, sehingga dapat meningkatkan produktivitas belajar. Sebaliknya jika mengabaikan pencegahan dan penanganan keputihan maka akan aktivitas belajar remaja putri akan terganggu sehingga tidak bisa menerima pembelajran dengan baik bahkan harus absen dari sekolah. Jika keputihan tidak segera diatasi akan dapat menimbulkan risiko bahaya yang fatal bagi kesehatan. Aktivitas yang menjadi acuan dalam penelitian ini adalah pengetahuan dan sikap siswa putri di SMAN  2 Tondano dengan pencegahan keputihan. Pada observasi atau pengamatan awal yang dilakukan, didapati bahwa siswa putri SMAN 2 Tondano pernah mengalami keputihan. Keputihan yang dialami siswa putri SMAN 2 Tondano didapati ada yang terjadi tidak hanya sekali dan terjadi dalam waktu yang cukup lama. Kondisi seperti ini dapat mengakibatkan timbulnya risiko penyakit reproduksi. Penelitian in menggunakan metode deskriptif analitik korelasi dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Teknik sampel yang digunakan yaitu total sampling berjumlah 39 responden. Hasil analisa dan pengujian data yang sudah dilakukan di SMAN 2 Tondano, maka  terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara pengetahuan siswa putri SMAN 2 Tondano dengan pencegahan keputihan dengan nilai p = 0.042 dan terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara sikap siswa putri SMAN 2 Tondano di dengan pencegahan keputihan dengan nilai p = 0.022. Kata kunci: Pengetahuan, Sikap, Penanganan, Keputihan, Remaja Putri   Abstract Vaginal discharge is often considered a common thing so that is often overlooked the importance of prevention correct and appropriate treatment. Teenage girls can recognize the symptoms of vaginal discharge and their treatment, they can move in a comfortable, safe, and healthy way so that they can increase their learning productivity. On the other hand, if they ignore the prevention and treatment of vaginal discharge, the learning activities of a teenage girl will be disrupted so that they cannot receive learning properly and even have to be absent from school. If vaginal discharge is not immediately addressed, it can pose a risk of fatal danger to health. The activity that is used as a reference in this study is the knowledge and attitudes of female students at Senior High School Public 2 Tondano, with the prevention of vaginal discharge. In the initial observations, it was found that the female students of Senior High School Public 2 Tondano had experienced vaginal discharge. The discharge experienced by female students of Senior High School Public 2 Tondano was found to occur not only once and for a long time. Conditions like this can lead to the risk of reproductive disease. This research uses a descriptive-analytic correlation method with a cross-sectional approach. The sampling technique used is a total sampling of 39 respondents. The results of data analysis and testing that have been carried out at Senior High School Public 2 Tondano, there is a significant relationship between the knowledge of female students of Senior High School Public 2 Tondano and prevention of vaginal discharge with p = 0.042 and there is a significant relationship between the attitudes of female students of Senior High School Public 2 Tondano in the prevention of vaginal discharge with p-value = 0.022. This article is about a research study conducted to describe and clarifypoliteness in speech acts using Indonesian in the talk done during a lesson in theclassroom at SMA PMT Hamka, a senior high school in Padang Pariaman,Sumatra Barat, focusing on representations of (1) the forms of politeness in thespeech acts, (2) the functions of politeness in the speech acts, and (3) the strategiesof using politeness in the speech acts. It was a case study with communicationethnography and pragmatics as its starting points. The data consisted of two types:data from utterances and data from field notes. The two types of data, compiled bymeans of recordings, observations, and interviews, were analyzed with aninteractive model of analysis.The research findings are as follows. First, in the context ofrepresentations of the forms of speech-act politeness, it is found that (a) suchrepresentations using Indonesian use the declarative, interrogative, and imperativemodes, (b) the use of the declarative mode represents command, request, advice,and praise, (c) the use of the interrogative mode represents requesting, asking forwhat students have promised, clarifying whether students have understood, andgiving a warning, (d) the use of the imperative mode represents invitation to dosomething, request, and command, (e) a softening of the illocution power is foundin utterances using the declarative and interrogative modes so that the utterancesare felt to be polite, (f) utterances using the interrogative mode, however, tends tohave a strengthening effect on the illocution power so that the utterances are feltless polite. Second, in the context of representations of the functions of speech-actpoliteness, it is found that (a) the functions of politeness in directive acts consist ofrequesting, permitting, advising, commanding, and forbidding functions and (b)the functions of politeness in expressive acts consist of praising and thankingfunctions. Third, in the context of representations of the strategies of speech-actpoliteness, it is found that (a) utterances can be direct, realized in completeimperative form and imperative form with incomplete phrase and (b) utterancescan be indirect by (1) being with expressions of politeness used in a positive way,(2) being with expressions of politeness used in a negative way, and (3) beingunclear.Keywords: politeness, speech act, directive, expressive, classroom instruction120

AbstractThis research aimed at knowing positive relationship between family functioning with self-regulated learning of Pangudi Luhur Van Lith Muntilan Senior High School students. This research was conducted on 80 students by using random sampling technique. The method used in this research is quantitative method. Measuring instrument used for family functioning is The McMaster Model of Family Functioning with alpha cronbach’s coefficient is 0,927 and self-regulated scale with alpha cronbach’s coefficient is 0,899. From the data analysis obtained the result of coefficient correlation is 0,366 with the significance amount 0,000 (p < 0,05), so it can be concluded that there is a positive correlation between family functioning and self-regulated learning of Pangudi Luhur Van Lith Muntilan Senior High School students, so the hypothesis pruposed in this study is accepted.Keywords: Family Functioning, Self-Regulated Learning    Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara keberfungsian keluarga dengan self-regulated learning pada siswa di SMA Pangudi Luhur Van Lith Muntilan.
