The article is dedicated to the study of the genre features of horror literature, its plot matrices and principles of artistic modeling of pictures of the world. The article describes the genre-creating elements that have become basis for systematization of the genre composition of horror literature. Special attention is paid to the typology of characters, the specifics of the arranging artistic time and space, as well as the features of the emotional impact on the reader as one of leading principles of genre classification of this type of fiction. After all, much of the text of the works of representatives of horror literature is devoted to the construction of artistic space and time, in order to introduce the recipient into a certain range of components of the emotional state during reading, to achieve the goal of horror literature. Namely, to scare the reader. Considerable attention is paid by the authors of this type of literature to the modeling of characters as a genre component. The article describes a set of standardized elements and attributes describing the appearance and character of the characters, which creates a "horizon of expectations" for the reader's perception. It also acts as an element of genre differentiation within the cluster of horror literature. The definition of genre varieties of this type of fiction reveals a clear conditionality of the specifics of the reception, the orientation of the author's intentions to create a certain psychological effect. Established artistic constants, which show a fairly high level of variability, serve as a figurative and plot matrix for the authors, which provides a "recognizability" of the genre addressed to a certain readership.

Haute cuisine is emblematic in the world of tourism and is of fundamental importance in the economic and social life in most countries worldwide. Haute cuisine gastronomic experiences play with the senses, involving the diner, thus generating a unique experience for the customer. This empirical study aims to analyze the influence on the consumer of the characteristic stimuli of a high-level gastronomic experience in a restaurant with two Michelin stars. Using neuromarketing biometrics, combined with a qualitative research technique, the objective of this research was to determine the emotional impact of the presentation and tasting of dishes compared to wines and to draw conclusions about each variable in the general experience. The results indicate that the dishes have a greater influence on the level of interest than the wines, and both have a different emotional impact at different moments of the experience due to its duration.

In modern conditions of development of integration processes in the world economy, special importance is attached to the transport sector. The formation of a single transport space (STS) in the regions creates additional opportunities for the economic development of the integrating countries. At the same time, the literature does not pay enough attention to the definition of the essence of the single transport space and the classification of integration associations according to the degree of its development. Therefore, there is a need to develop such a classification. The article substantiates the expediency of classification of integration associations according to the degree of development of a single transport space. The author's formal-logical classification is developed, which is based on three basic types of a single transport space: transport and logistics type provide a positive multiplier of integrated economic growth for all participating countries; innovative-logistic and customs-logistic types cause polarization in the action of the multiplier of integrated economic growth (in particular, both positive and negative growth rates of GDP values of the participating countries are possible); industrial and logistics type provide a zero multiplier of integrated economic growth for all participating countries. The conclusion is made about the possibility of unification and harmonization of transport space in the practice of integration associations on the basis of the developed classification.

The Theoretical Status of the Emblem in Polish Decorative Art This paper argues that the theoretical status of the emblem in decorative art has methodological significance in emblem studies and art history, comparable to its status in the so-called book’s editorial frame. This claim is justified in the historical and theoretical tradition of defining emblems in the sources. The departure point for the author’s considerations comes from the findings of applied emblematics, and its foundation is provided by the theoretical sources describing symbolic genres (scil. emblema, symbolum, hierogliphicum) published in Poland from the 16th to the 18th century, including books of poetics, rhetoric, dictionaries and compendia. The first part of the article presents an overview of research on decorative emblems in Poland, together with factors responsible for the scarcity of such studies, including the lack of symbolic typology of the decorations, and the division into literary and non-literary studies, motivated by the philological roots of emblem studies. It is noted that the emblemata in the so-called book’s editorial frame and those in decorations should be studied separately, as the latter are of ornamental nature, and require a distinct order of perception, explication, and the recipient’s role. Besides, it is pointed out that the anachronism of the 16th-century formulae of emblema raises problems for the genological classification of Polish decorations, and so does the inter-genre, compendiumtype pattern of symbolism dominant in the 18th century. The second part of the article discusses the definition of the emblema, focusing on its details relevant for the artistic practice and present-day genre classification, such as technique, composition, the content of the image, which is confronted with Polish historical materials. The analysis carried out in the paper supports the claim that providing a genelogical definition of a work of art sheds light on its artistic rendition and aesthetic value. It also enhances the perspective on emblem studies, the workshop of an emblem artist and the reception of the emblem. Additionally, it enables the verification of synthetic accounts and research practice, offering a profound reflection on the chronology and previous conceptions of the emblem. Finally, it helps to formulate postulates, which can be useful for the met

Every year the queues in hospitals publics and privates grows due to, among others, the increasing of the world population and the delay in the patients service. This is a serious problem faced by administrators of hospitals, which believe that it is increasingly difficult to offer a service of quality to those who search for them. One of the ways to decrease these queues is through the development of homecare systems that allow the patient to receive the clinic treatment directly in his house. The development of these kinds of systems would help to decrease the queues and consequently, would improve the attendance of those who goes to the hospitals looking for assistance. Considering this, this work has as main purpose to present the architecture modeling of a pervasive system to be applied in homecare environments. The pervasive systems developed from this modeling aim to improve the services provided by healthcare professionals in the treatment of patients that are located in their houses. The architecture proposed by the methodology uses concepts of pervasive computing to provide access to information any- time and wherever the user is, once that a homecare environment has a high level of dynamicity. The knowledge representation of the homecare environment needed in the modeling of the architecture is made through ontologies due to the possibility of reuse of the information stored, as well as the interoperability of information among different computational devices. To validate the proposed methodology, we present two use cases, which are also used to demonstrate the workflow of the pervasive system of homecare.

The concept of "crisis management" entered into everyday use among the managers of hotel enterprises relatively recently. As a practical discipline, crisis management began to actively develop in the 1990s. It was at this time that the objects and subjects of crisis management were determined, different approaches to definition were outlined, tasks, methods, and methods for solving them were formed. The article considers the existing approaches to the definition of crisis management, proposed by Russian and foreign scientists. The most interesting definitions of crisis management, which are used in the hotel business, are indicated. In the framework of the above definitions, examples are given on the implementation of crisis management in practice (in Russia and in foreign countries). Particular attention is paid to the classification of crises that affect the activities of hotel enterprises. Internal and external factors influencing the development of the hotel business are highlighted, and their ranking has been carried out. According to the results of the study, the shortcomings of the approaches to crisis management are presented, and a personal interpretation of the definition is proposed. World experience shows that crisis management was interested in scientists and practitioners from various fields: management, economics, finance, law, mathematical modeling, econometrics, programming, etc. Moreover, interest in crisis management arose most often at times when the world economy underwent a number of negative impacts. Currently, these phenomena have become quite frequent. Due to the fact that the markets and industries of the world have become interconnected, the financial market crisis leads to a decline in the development of the tourism industry, which in turn affects the hotel business.

The purpose of the article is to propose and justify the definition of “translation consciousness” of the interpreter. Methods of the research. The methods of the research are: theoretical ones – categorical analysis, the methods of systematization, modeling, generalization; empirical methods – the analysis of documents, the analysis of products of the activity, the content analysis of the novel. The results of the research. It was distinguished that the translation consciousness should be considered not only as a construct, a system of signs, but also as a phenomenon that exploded the system of knowledge about the world, as well as the particularities of using the strategies for the implementation of translation activities. Consequently, the translation consciousness is being facilitated, first of all, by the existence of various images of the world in the consciousness of the translator, images, which allows the interpreter to perform cognitive processing at a high level. Also in the conceptual system of the translator, they must be syncretically represented, although within the various theoretical paradigms differently structured by so called “native” and “in-cultural” concepts. We emphasize the special role of the translation consciousness, its media function in the translation activity, which ensures the ability of a translator to form a multidimensional system of relationships in their own consciousness. The latter facilitates the success of translation activities. Conclusions. The translation consciousness is the ability of the interpreter to carry out his/her professional activities, to reflect, adequately reflect the translation situation, as well as to establish his/her attitude towards the performance of the activity. The necessary component of the translation consciousness is knowledge, as well as the experience of the interpreter that it is the most significant in translating. In such a way the translation consciousness ensures the performance of translation activities at three levels: at associative one, at topical level and also at integrative one.

The subject of the study is a set of theoretical and methodological foundations, as well as econometric tools for substantiating the representation of the shadow economy as a negative factor for the development of the Ukrainian economy. The purpose of the study is to empirically analyze the peculiarities of the impact of the main factors and risks on the level of the shadow sector in Ukraine and other countries in the world, as well as to determine the strategic directions for further reducing of shadow part of Ukrainian economy with the use of the developed econometric toolkit. Such general scientific methods of analysis and synthesis as methods of comparative analysis, generalization, systematization, and grouping of data, methods of graphic and scenario analysis, as well as econometric tools, in particular methods and models of panel (longitudinal) data wereused in the process of research. Results. A significant amount of the shadow sector in Ukraine poses additional threats to the effective functioning of the economy and its economic development, especially in conditions of political and economic instability. The conducted statistical and empirical analysis confirmed the hypothesis that during a deep economic crisis, the shadow economy may not only be a consequence but also a cause of a growing fall in gross domestic product and, in turn, can aggravate a crisis that is also characteristic of the Ukrainian economy. Even though in recent years there has been a tendency of reducing the shadow level of the Ukrainian economy, it is still a considerable amount, which threatens the financial and economic security of the state and requires the formation of a scientifically grounded strategy for its lowering. The current situation requires not only an adequate definition of the sources of the shadow economy, mechanisms and development, the relationship with the formal economy but also the definition of the main factors affecting its level, as well as quantitative assessment of such impact using economic and mathematical methods of research. The empirical analysis of the impact of the main financial and economic indicators on the level of the shadow economy on the basis of panel data tools for a sample of more than 31 countries of the world allowed to identify not only the main macroeconomic factors affecting the shadow economy, taking into account the specifics of each individual state, but also significantly increase the number of observations and thus increase the accuracy of calculations in the conditions of limited information in a time dimension. Besides, the presentation of countries of different groups in the sample allows, for example, to measure how the country's entry into the European Union affects the level of the shadow economy and whether it affects it overall. According to the modeling results, the clustering of the countries was carried out depending on the level of the shadow sector and the initial conditions for the tendency to shadow. The hypothesis is that the shadow economy of Ukraine exists and even develops in favorable terms that are accompanied by low rates of social and economic development, the imperfection of the legislative and the judicial system, the complexity of opening and doing business, a rather high level of tax rates and a significant spread of corruption. Moreover, a scenario analysis based on the developed model showed that, in the wake of the economic crisis, the shadow economy of Ukraine would tend to increase, which will further deepen the economic downturn in the country in the medium term. Accordingly, the definition of strategic directions for lowering the part of the shadow economy in Ukraine becomes one of the priority tasks of its economic policy. The results of the study can be used by public authorities to form economic policies and strategic directions aimed at ensuring a gradual reduction of the shadow economy in Ukraine, enhancing its financial security and economic development. Conclusions. The presence of the shadow sector is characteristic for almost all countries in the world, but under current conditions of economic development, a significant part of shadow economy becomes an obstacle to the development of a robust corporate sector, the establishment of a functioning market economy and economic growth. The statistical and empirical comparative analysis of the factors influencing the level of shadowing of the economy of different countries confirms the fact that due to imperfect economic, social and legal reforms, many of them still have a high level of the shadow economy, including Ukraine, which negatively affects the level of its economic development. Moreover,  according to the optimistic scenario based on the developed econometric model of panel data, the positive dynamics of the gradual reduction of the level of shadow economy to 30.2% of the country's GDP in 2022 were obtained.  Despite that fact, according to more realistic assumptions, the growth of the shadow sector is somewhat probable to the level that far exceeds its current value. Accordingly, the definition of strategic directions for further reducing of shadow part of the Ukrainian economy is one of the critical tasks of its economic policy. At the same time, as statistical and empirical studies have shown, the effectiveness of the policy of deterrence should increase as a result of the implementation of elaborate measures aimed, in particular, at reducing the impact of factors that increase the level of the shadow economy in the country; increase of expenses from attraction to shadow activity and riskiness for its participants; raising public awareness about the harmful effects of shadow economy; growth of personal income and living standards of the population, etc.

Introduction. The level of shadowing of the economy in Ukraine remains one of the highest in the world and is a threat to its economic security and macroeconomic stability, investment attractiveness, etc. The dynamics of change in the main indicators of the functioning of the shadow economy indicates a low level of effectiveness of existing mechanisms to prevent the implementation of shadow operations. The existing institutional component of this mechanism does not fully form the preconditions for reducing the share of the shadow sector of the economy and therefore does not encourage businesses to withdraw their funds from the shadows. The high level of corruption and bureaucracy in the country has a negative impact on the efficiency of economic entities and thus creates the preconditions for the revision of existing instruments of state regulation of the economy. Purpose. Research of efficiency of functioning of separate institutional components of the mechanism of counteraction to shadowing of national economy and definition of the most priority measures of prevention of the state by shadow schemes of withdrawal of incomes. Results. The results of the study identified the main reasons for the high level of shadowing of the national economy, threats, and barriers to counteracting the participation of economic entities in the shadow schemes of capital withdrawal. The analysis of the main vectors of state influence on economic entities is carried out. Their efficiency has been evaluated. It is established that Ukraine occupies one of the last places in the world in the vast majority of indicators. Analysis of individual components of the indicator of ease of doing business in Ukraine showed a significant duration of procedures for reporting and payment of taxes, processing of documents for export/import, a significant cost of processing documents for export/import. The results of the study showed that one of the components that have a significant impact on economic entities is the high level of corruption in the country, low efficiency of corruption control procedures, low efficiency of government, etc. The necessity of development and application of a set of measures aimed at improving the quality of the institutional component of the mechanism of de-shadowing of the economy is proved.

Today, the world scientific community has not yet formed an agreed point of view on the definition of a «green» economy. Many important generalizations in this direction require development. This is necessary for a more detailed understanding of the essence of the construct under study, determination of scientific and practical goals in this area, identification of approaches, construction of classifications. The article deals with the definitive aspect of the concept of «bioeconomy». As a result of generalization of the already formed theoretical and practical approaches, a classification of directions for the development of bioeconomy was obtained. The main tasks of the author’s research are as follows: a) identifying the role and place of bioeconomics in the system of sciences; b) consideration of the priority directions of its development in an innovative economy in the context of continuous transformation processes, globalization, automation. Solving these problems creates a theoretical basis for training specialists focused on the implementation of competencies in the field of bioeconomics. The methodological basis for the analysis of theoretical and practical aspects 53 ТЕОРИЯ И МЕТОДОЛОГИЯ of bioeconomics and the proposed conclusions was the scientific content of the official websites of research Russian and foreign institutions working in this area, using the terms «bioeconomics», «biotechnology», «bioengineering education», «transdisciplinarity».
