The game of chess as always been viewed as an iconic representationof intellectual prowess. Since the very beginning of computerscience, the challenge of being able to program a computer capableof playing chess and beating humans has been alive and used both asa mark to measure hardware/software progresses and as an ongoingprogramming challenge leading to numerous discoveries. In the earlydays of computer science it was a topic for specialists. But ascomputers were democratized, and the strength of chess enginesbegan to increase, chess players started to appropriate tothemselves these new tools. We show how these interactions betweenthe world of chess and information technologies have been herald ofbroader social impacts of information technologies. The game ofchess, and more broadly the world of chess (chess players, literature, computer softwares and websites dedicated to chess, etc.), turns out to be a surprisingly and particularly sharpindicator of the changes induced in our everyday life by theinformation technologies. Moreover, in the same way that chess is amodelization of war that captures the raw features of strategicthinking, chess world can be seen as small society making the studyof the information technologies impact easier to analyze and tograsp.

The article examines modern socio-political relations, the rapid development of communication and information technologies, the expansion of ideological influence, impulses to improve methods and means of communication, as well as criminal threats to society. The study notes that the minds and hearts of people in different parts of the world turn into a training ground for testing various ideas, in other words, an ideological training ground for training. It is also clear that the activities of fanatical political Islamists and religious extremist movements that try to disguise religion and undermine religious values are one of the factors that threaten the spirituality of our children. Despite its growing role in the global geopolitical arena in Central Asia, it is important to protect our country, which is a key player in the region in terms of population and territory, from stereotypes of religious fanaticism, to create conditions for citizens so that they can practice their beliefs, tolerance and views on interethnic harmony, further strengthening the centuries-old traditions and customs of our people.

Just as there is no ideal society, there is no society without corruption. Fighting corruption is one way to achieve the UN-approved goals of sustainable development. The article summarizes the process of formation and implementation of international anti-corruption standards and their features in different national legal systems. It is determined that the adoption and recognition of standards does not in itself solve the problem, which is why the world is constantly looking for ways to combat corruption, testing new tools and mechanisms to influence corruption risks. This is confirmed by numerous projects funded by international donor organizations. Information technologies create endless opportunities not only for economics development (robotics, blockchain technology, neural networks, artificial intelligence, quantum virtual and augmented reality), but also for the fight against corruption: from e-government and courts, digital public services and tools that report about the facts of corruption, to the means of influencing society through social networks. The article analyzes scientific and professional research in the field of digitalization of anti-corruption activities and substantiates the relationship of these concepts from the standpoint of the impact of IT technologies on combating and preventing corruption. The article summarizes modern technological advances and their implementation in various national legal systems, defines the role of information technology in the fight against corruption and forms an understanding of information technology as a tool to control and combat corruption.

Abstract Background: The number of people aged 80 years and above is projected to triple over the next 30 years. People in this age group normally have at least two chronic conditions. The impact of multimorbidity is often significantly greater than expected from the sum of the effects of each condition. The World Health Organization has indicated that healthcare systems must prepare for a change in the focus of clinical care for older people. The World Health Organization (WHO) defines healthcare quality as care that is effective, efficient, integrated, patient centered, equitable and safe. The degree to which healthcare quality can be defined as acceptable is determined by services’ ability to meet the needs of users and adapt to patients’ expectations and perceptions.Method: We took a phenomenological perspective to explore older patients’ subjective experiences and conducted semistructured individual interviews. Eighteen patients (aged from 82 to 100 years) were interviewed twice after discharge from hospital. The interview transcriptions were analyzed thematically. Results: The patients found their meetings with the health service to be complex and demanding. They reported attempting to restore a sense of security and meaning in everyday life, balancing their own needs against external requirements. Five overarching themes emerged from the interviews: hospital stay and the person behind the diagnosis, poor communication and coordination, life after discharge, relationship with their next of kin, and organizational and systemic determinants. Conclusion: According to the WHO, to deliver quality healthcare, services must include all six of the dimensions listed above. Our findings show that they do not. Healthcare focused on measurable values and biomedical inquiries. Few opportunities for participation, scant information and suboptimal care coordination left the patients with a feeling of being in limbo, where they struggled to find balance in their everyday life. Further work must be done to ensure that integrated services are provided without a financial burden, centered on the needs and rights of older people.

The methodology used is mixed with a correlational descriptive approach, through the use of bibliographic information sources for the realization of theoretical support, likewise the focus group tool was used, considering the teachers who stayed in May-August 2020. The results showed the perception of businessmen and teachers of stays linked to MSMEs, their impact and development in the face of the pandemic. The contribution is achieved once the literature and results obtained from the focus group have been reviewed, which allows establishing the degree of flexibility for the implementation of new processes to MSMEs, which allows an area of opportunity to generate interaction of scientific projects with MSMEs, as well as the forms of interaction given to COVID-19.

The emergence of the COVID-19 pandemic is an external shock that has disrupted the foundations of everyday life. For cosmopolitan entrepreneurs, the impact is even more decisive as it confronts their core values and jeopardises their identities, ways of working and the lifestyles they cherish. Cosmopolitans are individuals who identify themselves as citizens of the world and voluntarily move from country to country in pursuit of self-fulfilment in both life and work. Cosmopolitan entrepreneurs are future-oriented and open to the world and the opportunities it may provide. Beyond securing, maintaining and improving their professional and/or economic positions, their mobility is an elementary part of the cosmopolitan life itself, something they find attractive, interesting and stimulating. Thus, a cosmopolitan entrepreneur’s business is often non-location-bound to enable continued mobility. With our interview-based research, we shed light on how COVID-19 has changed the lives of Finnish-born cosmopolitan entrepreneurs, discussing what they feel about the changes and how they see their future.

Wheat is one of the most important cereals in the world and the bread made of its flour belongs to the everyday life of human  mankind. The Hungarian standard relating to the laboratory production of wheat flour (MSZ 6367/9-1989) does not mention the type of laboratory mill used for milling, and it only builds up some general criteria, such as: the laboratory mill should be provided  with four differently nicked barrels, a sieve with appropriate hole sizes, and also with the separated collections of the pilot flour and the bran. Our study was started at this point and the answers for the following questions were aimed to be found: do the flour patterns studied and produced with different sieving techniques, widely used in laboratory mills of the same wheat pattern show any alterations after the impact of the formula production as regards chemical constitutions. Various flours of the wheat pattern sieved with different particle sizes were studied in this experiment. In producing this pattern we used FQC109 type of mill. There were 5 different corn sizes of 250-200; 200-160; 160-125; 125-100; <100 μms used in the partition of the fractions. The results this research confirm that the quality of wheat flour can be modified by different methods of pattern production.

The imbalance between the labor market and the higher education system in the Russian Federation is highly relevant for discussion in the pedagogical environment. Overcoming structural problems is a difficult task, especially in the context of an economic crisis. The transition of Russian higher education to the Bologna model was complicated by many factors. An additional task at this point was the need to reform the structure of the output of specialists, since for some of them there was a large oversupply in the labor market, and for others there was a lack. In addition, the growing process of digitalization has made it necessary to train a sufficient number of specialists in the areas that ensure the spread of information technologies. State policy in the field of higher education has changed the number of students enrolled in the most popular bachelor's degree programs and has affected their structure depending on the form of tuition fees. The study found that the total number of students in the most popular areas of training-economics, management and law-has decreased, but they have retained their leadership, and the structure of students in these specialties is dominated by those who study on a contractual basis. At the same time, the demands of the economy caused a fairly rapid reaction of the higher education system and led to an increase in the number of students in the areas of linguistics, information systems and technologies, and defectological education. As a result of state support, despite the reduction in the total number of students, the share of budget and target students in those professions that are now most in demand in the economy has increased: construction, electric power and electrical engineering, agricultural engineering, computer science and computer engineering, applied computer science.
