The rapid growth of the business world is reasonable with fierce competition fornew and similar industries. This phenomenon requires companies in manufacturingto compete competitively as experienced by the animal feed industry, especiallyshrimp feed. Marketing of shrimp feed at the end of 2019 increased after decliningsince the first quarter of the third quarter. According to the head of the aquaculturedivision of the Association of Animal Feed Entrepreneurs (GPMT) Haris Muhtadi, the transmission occurred because of an outbreak of disease attacking shrimp andafter the outbreak ended, shrimp production began to compete again. There aremany ways that companies, especially those engaged in shrimp feed, do so. Startingfrom creating low prices to making brand variations with a certain quality measurethat is used as a price differentiator between these products. To get around this, thecompany must have the right strategy and policy, namely by paying attention to thecost of production of its products. The purpose of determining the cost of goodsmanufactured at PT. Central Proteina Prima, Tbk. This is to analyze the differencein cost of goods manufactured between the methods used by the company and thecost of goods manufactured with the full cost and variable cost methods. This studyuses a qualitative descriptive method and the data source is secondary data. Theresults of the study to determine the cost of production is the shrimp feed factory ofPT. Central Proteina Tbk Medan issued a production cost per kilogram of Rp.14.103.5. Meanwhile, the variable cost of the method according to the previoustheory, the value per kilogram is smaller, namely Rp. 14,049, with a difference ofRp. 54.5 per kilogram. If the company sets a price of Rp 19,745 per kilogram usingthe same method, then determining the cost of goods manufactured 0.5% is moreeffective using the theoretical variable cost method. This difference occurs becauseof the grouping of raw material costs and direct labor costs which affect factoryoverhead costs and the cost of goods manufactured.

AbstractDespite a constitutional right to water, challenges remain for access to sufficient water in South Africa. This article considers the degree to which current legal provisions perpetuate approaches that are antithetical to genuinely eco-socio-sustainable water access. Water in South Africa has largely been re-cast as a commodity, exposed to market rules, proving problematic for many and giving rise to various responses, including litigation. In the seminal case of Mazibuko, the Constitutional Court failed to provide robust protection to the right to water, providing impetus for the formation of “commons” strategies for water allocation. Indeed, “commoning” is beginning to represent not only an emerging conceptual strand in urban resource allocation, but also a dynamic, contemporary, eco-sensitive, socio-cultural phenomenon, driving innovative, interactive and inclusive forms of planning and social engagement. Against the backdrop of unequal water access, commoning offers glimpses of an empowering and enfranchising subaltern paradigm.

A 24-year-old woman was referred because of incompletely-controlled complex partial seizures. Her seizures had started at age 21, after a mild head injury with brief loss of consciousness incurred in a biking accident, and were characterized by a sensation of bright flashing lights in the right visual field, followed by numbness and tingling in the right foot, spreading up the leg and to the arm, ultimately involving the entire right side, including the face. Occasionally they spread further to involve right facial twitching with jerking of the right arm and leg, loss of awareness and, at the onset of her epilepsy, rare secondarily generalized convulsions. Seizure frequency averaged three to four per month. She was initially treated with phenytoin and clobazam and subsequently changed to carbamazepine 800 milligrams per day. She also complained that her right side was no longer as strong as her left and that it was also numb, especially the leg, but felt that this weakness had stabilized or improved slightly over the past two years.

In a recent number of The Harvard Theological Review, Professor Douglas Clyde Macintosh of the Yale Divinity School outlines in a very interesting manner the religious system to which he gives his adherence. For “substance of doctrine” (to use a form of speech formerly quite familiar at New Haven) this religious system does not differ markedly from what is usually taught in the circles of the so-called “Liberal Theology.” Professor Macintosh has, however, his own way of construing and phrasing the common “Liberal” teaching; and his own way of construing and phrasing it presents a number of features which invite comment. It is tempting to turn aside to enumerate some of these, and perhaps to offer some remarks upon them. As we must make a selection, however, it seems best to confine ourselves to what appears on the face of it to be the most remarkable thing in Professor Macintosh's representations. This is his disposition to retain for his religious system the historical name of Christianity, although it utterly repudiates the cross of Christ, and in fact feels itself (in case of need) quite able to get along without even the person of Christ. A “new Christianity,” he is willing, to be sure, to allow that it is—a “new Christianity for which the world is waiting”; and as such he is perhaps something more than willing to separate it from what he varyingly speaks of as “the older Christianity,” “actual Christianity,” “historic Christianity,” “actual, historical Christianity.” He strenuously claims for it, nevertheless, the right to call itself by the name of “Christianity.”

The economy in the current era of globalization has fierce competition, especially in the business world, where each company moves to continue to make products primarily to meet what is needed by consumers and companies are always innovating to make products that are different from before and from  competitors and strive to be superior to other products.  This study was conducted with the aim of analyzing the independent variables which include brand image and price variables on their influence on the dependent variable, namely purchasing decisions.  This study uses multiple linear regression model and with classical assumption test using SPSS software version 24. Data were obtained primarily by distributing questionnaires to 162 students at Bhayangkara University, Jakarta Raya.  This study states that brand image and price variables can partially and significantly influence consumer purchasing decisions positively. The F test explains that the brand image and price variables together can influence purchasing decisions with results showing f-count>f-table.
