Social studies learning by utilizing laboratories will make it easier for students to construct concepts and understand the material being taught. The existence of a relatively recently developed social studies laboratory is interesting to study so that it can become a reference for the next development stage. This research is a descriptive qualitative research that the role of social studies laboratories has been used by teachers in improving the quality of learning in schools. Data retrieval is done by interviews, questionnaires and observations Data analysis techniques in research using qualitative analysis is done by reflecting the results of observations of the learning process carried out. Data in the form of words from field notes are processed into meaningful sentences and analyzed qualitatively. IPS Laboratory is able to facilitate understanding, increase students' curiosity. However, this has not been optimal due to several things such as the unavailability of laboratory rooms, the systematic use of social studies laboratories, the lack of procedures for the use of complete IPS laboratories, and problems with facilities and infrastructure that have not been supported.

In the teaching and learning process of Social Sciences, many problems are carried out by the teacher. One of them is some students still rely on their teacher's activities in learning, so the role of students is still very lacking. Even thought, the teacher always involving students to play an active in learning process. In contrary, students assume that the subject of Social Sciences is very boring. So that this causes a low quality of learning in Social Sciences, especially in  SMP Negeri 21 Pontianak. This cases has tickled the writer to take the theme of research on picture and picture cooperative methods to improve the quality of learning and increase the interest and activity of students in teaching and learning activities in Social Sciences.As for the techniques used of data collection is through observation by teachers and collaborators. The research involved two cycles of 42 students. While the data analysis used description with percentage techniques. Furthermore the level of activity of students and teachers is expressed in the category of "very good", "good" or "moderate", while the success of using picture and picture cooperative methods is stated as "successful", "less successful", or "unsuccessful".The results of this reseacrh with picture and picture cooperative methods have been successful, which is showing indicated by an increase in student activity of learning because it has reached the specified criteria is 81% of students are actively involved, while teacher activities reach 86.53%, as well as student learning outcomes with a value of 78.57, where this shows that it is exceeding the KKM value of 72, with a percentage of completeness of 76%, which has exceeded the criteria of 75%.

This study aimed at determining the role of teachers and principals in improving the quality of learning in elementary school of Pulau Rimau. The sample in this study were 40 teachers from Pulau Rimau. The data were collected using 1) interviews, 2) observations, and 3) documentation. Research data analysis techniques include 1) data reduction, 2) data presentation, and 3) data verification. The results showed that teachers and principals have a role in improving the quality of education of SD Negeri in Pulau Rimau.

The teacher is a strategic factor in education, responsible for the success of the development of students with all cognitive, affective, and psychomotor potential. The teacher is responsible for the learning process at the institution where he is assigned, because the system applied by the teacher affects the quality of learning completeness. Therefore, teachers must improve their knowledge and intellect and strive to be good role models for their students. Teachers are also required to advance their students' abilities in the field of science as well as in the field of morality. This study raises the general problem, how is the role of the teacher in the implementation of learning to read and write the Qur'an at Madrasah Aliyah Roudlotul Mutaallim Baratan, Patrang District, Jember Regency. This research uses phenomenological qualitative research. The results of the study indicate that in general the teacher's role in the implementation of learning to read and write the Qur'an is to act as a teacher and act as a mentor, in general the results can improve the quality of students. As evidence is the result of research conducted by the author of Madrasah Aliyah Roudlotul Mutaallim Baratan, Patrang District, Jember Regency

One of the solutions proposed by Badan Amil Zakat Nasional is to form Lembaga Pemberdayaan Ekonomi Mustahik which has the task of improving the quality of life of mustahik through its programs. So, the purpose of this study is to find out how the role of Lembaga Pemberdayaan Ekonomi Mustahik Badan Amil Zakat Nasional in improving the economic welfare of mustahik. This study uses qualitative research methods that produce descriptive data. Where this research is based on observations made by the author and then explained according to what the author observed in the field. The data collection that the researchers did was using the method of observation, documentary interviews, and other data. When the data has been collected, the researcher conducts an analysis and then draws conclusions from the analysis. The results of this study are Lembaga Pemberdayaan Ekonomi Mustahik BAZNAS plays a role in the development of micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) and focuses on potential creative businesses, empowers by providing business development capital assistance, in accordance with the budget draft proposed by mustahik, and approved by LPEM BAZNAS. Motivated by the problems of the quality of learning. To improve the quality of teaching carried out by teachers, through educational supervision. The research was conducted in SMA and SMK in Abung Semuli Subdistrict, Lampung which aims to describe the Principal's knowledge regarding the role of supervisor and to know the Implementation of Academic Supervision in Improving the Quality of Teacher Learning. Research using a qualitative research approach with phenomenological theory. Conclusions: Principals of SMA and SMK in Abung Semuli District, Lampung have good knowledge of academic supervision as evidenced by the supervision of these schools. Implementation of Academic Supervision in Improving the Quality of Learning Indonesian language teachers using individual techniques in the form of class visits begins with making a supervision program containing planning, preparation, implementation, evaluation.

O presente artigo tem como principal objetivo averiguar como as empresas de Ecoturismo e Turismo de Aventura percebem a atuação do poder público e do privado em ações direcionadas para a acessibilidade. Considerando que o objeto de estudo é a acessibilidade, no decorrer da pesquisa buscou-se compreender como questões relacionadas a esse tema são percebidas pelos empreendedores; se o mercado está se adequando para receber esse perfil de público com deficiência ou mobilidade reduzida; e se há demonstração de interesse em tornar atividades acessíveis para essa demanda crescente. Os principais resultados do estudo demonstram que a maioria das empresas não estão preparadas para atender esse público, porém apontam direções que visam a melhoria no atendimento do público em questão e a qualidade da oferta de Ecoturismo e Turismo de Aventura no quesito acessibilidade. Accessibility in Ecotourism and Adventure Tourism: the role of the government and private companies The main objective of this article is to ascertain how Ecotourism and Adventure Tourism companies perceive the role of the government and private companies in activities related to accessibility. Whereas the focus of this study is accessibility, during the research phase it was sought to understand how issues related to this topic are perceived by entrepreneurs, if the market is adapting to be able to accommodate persons with disabilities or reduced mobility, and any interest has been demonstrated in making activities accessible in light of this growing demand. The main results of the study show that most companies are not prepared to accommodate this segment of the population; however, suggestions are made for improving their ability to meet the needs of this public, as well as the quality of Ecotourism and Adventure Tourism services in terms of accessibility. The purpose of this study is to understand and explain the role of local political parties and their obstacles in supporting candidates for Regent/Deputy Regent of North Aceh. Descriptive qualitative research was employed in obtaining the data through interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis techniques are taken through data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and concluding (verification). The results reveal that one of the local political parties (Aceh Party) has provided support to the Regent/Deputy Regent candidate H. Muhammad Thaib/Fauzi Yusuf through political participation as a medium for conveying political aspirations between voters and the elected Regent/Deputy Regent candidate, with won victory in the election in 2017. The conclusion is that 3 local political parties (PA, PNA, and PDA) have provided support to four candidate pairs for Regent of North Aceh through political participation as a forum for aspiration and in the form of a successful team. Even though this support has been given, the role of local political parties has not been realized effectively, because there are still obstacles, so that it requires various improvements. The obstacles are low human resources and differences in perceptions resulting in internal conflict with local parties.

To provide a good level of the quality of life of the city inhabitants, it is indispensable to follow sustainable development strategy, allowing to create social capital. This is important especially for local authorities, which should govern society by cooperating with them. Therefore, the main purpose of the article is to present implementation process and its conditions of the sustainable development strategy within the structures of local government units in Poland. Analysis is based on the authoress’ own qualitative research conducted in four voivodships in the Southern of Poland.

This article is a reflection on the role of inclusive education in counteracting social inequalities and the presentation of a section of qualitative research conducted among homeless people who participated in active inclusion projects. The concept of inclusive lifelong learning indicates the need to create optimal conditions for lifelong education for every person. It is a key condition for improving individual quality of life and a tool for making individual success. The article refers to a fragment of narrative biographical research conducted among the homeless. Qualitative research is about subjective reality, revealing the unique aspects of active inclusion.

<p>Abstract: The Role of LPTK in Creating Syari’ah Based Professional Workforce in Aceh. The Institution of Learning for Educational workforce (LPTKs) plays an important role in the process of producing professionals in their fields. This article studies the extent to which such institutional programs play, especially those mainly associated with the Islamic sya’riah implemented in Aceh region. The writer of this article argues that, in terms of quality, it can be revealed from how far the lecturers are capable of facilitating the students’ learning process and its relevance to teaching materials. Therefore, the author concludes that the quality of learning can be conducted with the intensity of the systemic and synergistic lecturers, students, curriculum and learning materials, media, facilities, and learning systems in producing process and the optimal learning outcomes in accordance with the demands of curriculum.</p><p><br />Kata Kunci: workforce, professional, LPTK, Aceh<br /><br /></p>
