Communication as a process in delivering messages to achieve a goal, the main component is a communica- tor or source message, communicant or recipient of the message and the message itself. In the learning process for early childhood, communication should be developed with strategies tailored to the  growth  and  development of children, one the foccus of study is the development to the language of children who will give a big influence on communication strategies against early age. The popular mistake communicators is an adults in the language of communication, and communication barriers for children should be great  interest in devising communication strategies. three things that are very urgent is the use of appropriate terms, continuoust, and the presence of cues to switch themes

<p>Language is a developmental aspect which is important to be stimulated from an early age. Language development in children has a dynamic rhythm. There is numerous speech that seems common and consistent in the language of children. Fortunately, this phenomenon does not automatically close the gaps of diversity in the children’s classes. Thus, the method of developing language skills especially English in children must be based on awareness of their own level of development. In developing language skills, the mastery of vocabulary by children determines the dominant ability to communicate, so this should be given special attention by educators. Answering the challenge of mastering the English vocabulary in early childhood, this paper explores in depth about the Talking Stick Learning Model which tends to be reserved for children at a relatively early age. Their first interaction with English will in some way affect their wishes ahead to learn more about this International language. Talking Stick Learning Model projects teachers not to dominate the learning process. This method of learning requires the help of a stick and for the child holding the stick, in turn, must answer the questions of the teacher that have thoroughly studied a discussion. In addition to training children to speak, this model will create a fun atmosphere for learning and train students to participate actively and creatively.<br /> <br />Keywords: Talking Stick Learning Model, English Vocabulary, Early Childhood<br />Abstrak<br />Bahasa adalah aspek perkembangan yang penting untuk distimulus sejak usia dini. Perkembangan bahasa pada anak memiliki irama yang dinamis. Terdapat ujaran yang terkesan umum dan konsisten pada bahasa anak-anak. Untungnya, fenomena ini tidak secara otomatis menutup celah-celah munculnya keberagaman pada kelas-kelas anak. Dengan demikian, metode dalam mengembangkan kemampuan berbahasa, terlebih bahasa Inggris, pada anak mesti didasarkan atas kesadaran mengenai tingkat perkembangan mereka masing-masing. Dalam mengembangkan kemampuan berbahasa, penguasaan kosakata oleh anak menentukan secara dominan kemampuannya dalam berkomunikasi, sehingga hal ini sebaiknya diberikan atensi khusus oleh pendidik. Menjawab tantangan penguasaan kosakata bahasa Inggris pada anak usia dini, tulisan ini mengupas secara mendalam tentang Model Pembelajaran Talking Stick yang cenderung diperuntukkan bagi anak-anak pada usia relatif dini. Interaksi pertama mereka dengan bahasa Inggris akan sedikit banyak mempengaruhi keinginan mereka ke depan mempelajari lebih jauh bahasa Internasional ini. Model Pembelajaran Talking Stick memproyeksikan guru untuk tidak mendominasi proses pembelajaran. Bantuan tongkat diperlukan dalam metode pembelajaran ini dan bagi anak yang memegang tongkat pada gilirannya mesti menjawab pertanyaan dari guru setelah tuntas mempelajari suatu bahasan. Di samping melatih anak berbicara, model ini akan menciptakan suasana menyenangkan dalam pembelajaran serta melatih siswa untuk berpartisipasi aktif serta kreatif.</p><p>Kata Kunci: Model Pembelajaran Talking Stick, English Vocabulary, Anak Usia Dini</p>

Abstrak Menggambar merupakan aktivitas yang disukai oleh anak usia dini. Berbagai perkembangan fisik dan mental terlibat dalam kegiatan menggambar. Sesuai dengan pengalaman jiwanya, anak-anak menggambar sesuatu yang diketahuinya menurut jalan pikirannya yang berbeda dengan pemikiran orang dewasa. Tahapan gambar anak usia dini dimulai dari gambar coreng moreng tak beraturan, terkendali dan coreng moreng bernama. Gambar atau seni lukis karya anak usia dini menjadi unik, imajinatif, jujur, lugas dan naif, berani, juga menunjukkan spontanitas. Disamping sifat-sifat lain yang khas sebagai ungkapan anak, para pendidik dan pengamat seni harus memahami karakter anak usia dini agar setiap proses pembelajaran tepat guna sesuai sasaran pertumbuhan dan perkembangan anak usia dini. Sudah selayaknya menghargai karya anak-anak sesuai dengan fitrahnya dan memberikan peluang sebesar-besarnya untuk mengembangkan potensi dan kreativitas anak dalam berekspresi seni. Proses pendidikan yang dilaksanakan dalam suasana yang menyenangkan maka potensi dan kreativitas anak didik akan tergali secara optimal. Abstract Drawing is an activity favored by early childhood. A variety of physical and mental developments are involved in drawing activities. In accordance with the experience of his soul, the children draw something he knows according to his way of thinking that is different from that of adults. Early childhood picture stages begin with irregular, controlled scribbles and streaks named. Picture or painting by early childhood to be unique, imaginative, honest, straightforward and naive, brave, also shows spontaneity. In addition to other distinctive traits as the child's expression, art educators and observers must understand the character of early childhood in order that each learning process is appropriate to target the growth and development of early childhood. Should properly appreciate the work of children in accordance with his nature and provide opportunities as much as possible to develop the potential and creativity of children in art expression. <p>Man is a creature of God; This is one of the nature of human beings.<br />Another is that the nature of human beings is creatures whose development<br />is influenced by the nature and the environment. A human being is very<br />interesting. Therefore, he has been the target of studies since past, present,<br />and future. Almost all higher education institutions assess the human, and<br />the impact of his work on his own, community and environment. One of the<br />aims of man created by God is to be His vicegerent on earth. Therefore, people<br />should be educated from an early age even while still in his mother’s womb.<br />Early childhood is a group of children who are in the process of growth and<br />development that is unique, in the sense of having a pattern of growth and<br />development, intelligence, social, emotional, language and communication<br />in accordance with the rate of growth and development of children. The<br />importance of childhood and early childhood characteristics, demanding<br />approach to be used in learning activities that will be used in the learning<br />activities that focus on children. At the time of this early age, children need to be<br />educated as well as possible, with methods appropriate to their circumstances.<br />The educational methods that can be applied are such as, advice, stories, and<br />customs. No “bad” or ‘good’method. Because it highly depends on many factors.<br />The important thing taken into account teachers to set a method is knowing<br />the limits of goodness and weakness methods that will be used, thus allowing<br />it to formulate conclusions about the results/achievement of the objectives of<br />the decision.</p>

Abstract: Golden period, a phase which is essential for the growth and development of children. Not all parents and teachers have been comprehensively understand the importance of the golden period of development at an early age. As an important future, past all the potential sensitivity of children to thrive. Therefore, it would need to support an environment conducive to the development potential of children. Developments that first occurred in children are physical-motor development, motor development of the child within the meaning along with physical growth. Infants and children develop the skills of rolling, sitting, standing, and other motor skills in a fixed order and according to the specified time range. It is very important to be known by the parents and other educators. This discussion approach life. Motor skills are not developed an ability for granted, but rather through a process of learning and practice. Have motor development principles in its development so that there is a logical consequence of the development of such skills as motor development in childhood has a function and hazard category in its development that may result in physical or psychological harm. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang dilaksanakan dalam bentuk pelatihan penerapan model pembelajaran berbasis konservasi di Lembaga PAUD Al- Khair Udayana Mataram ini adalah: 1) Untuk mendeskripsikan rancangan  model pembelajaran berbasis konservasi (PBK) pada anak usia dini; 2) Untuk memberikan pengetahuan dan pengalaman kepada para pendidik tentang pentingnya menerapkan model pembelajaran berbasis konservasi (PBK) pada anak usia dini. Hal ini didasarkan atas masih kurangnya efektifitas dan bermaknaan dalam mengembangkan karakter peduli lingkungan bagi anak, hal ini dibuktikan dengan rendahnya rasa cinta dan peduli lingkungan pada diri anak misalnya membuang sampah di sembarang tempat. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah pelatihan dan pendampingan yang bersifat partisipatif. Hasil dari pelatihan ini adalah peserta pelatihan memahami dan menguasai rancangan  model pembelajaran berbasis konservasi (PBK) Adapun dampak dari kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah memberikan kebermanfaatan bagi para pendidik dalam hali ini adalah  guru PAUD supaya bisa memilih model pembelajaran berbasis konservasi sebagai alternatif dalam proses pembelajaran pada anak usia dini dalam usaha menanamkan karakter peduli lingkungan pada anak sehingga terlahir anak-anak yang mau menjaga kelstarian lingkungan sekitar serta sehat jasmani maupun rohani.Training on the Application of Conservation-Based Learning Model (Pbk) in Early Childhood at the Institute of Paud Al-Khair Udayana MataramAbstractThe objectives of community service activities carried out in the form of training in the application of conservation-based learning models at the Al-Khair Udayana Mataram PAUD Institution are: 1) To describe the design of conservation-based learning models (PBK) in early childhood; 2) To provide knowledge and experience to educators about the importance of applying conservation-based learning models (PBK) in early childhood. This is based on the lack of effectiveness and meaning in developing the character of caring for the environment for children, this is evidenced by the lack of love and care for the environment in children, for example, throwing trash in any place. The method used in community service activities is participatory training and assistance. The results of this training are training participants to understand and master the design of conservation-based learning models (PBK). The impact of this community service activity is to provide benefits for educators in this matter, PAUD teachers so they can choose conservation-based learning models as alternatives in the learning process for children. early age in an effort to instill the character of caring for the environment in children so that children are born who want to maintain the environment surrounding environment and healthy physically and spiritually.

Multicultural education for early childhood is very urgent to be encouraged as a foundation for the development of a more open, tolerant and democratic Indonesian society. Early age is an important phase in child growth and development. The process of forming identity and character starts from early childhood. For this reason, equality values that do not consider themselves and their groups as superior to themselves and other groups are very important to be instilled in children as early as possible. This is important because on the one hand diversity in Indonesia is a reality that children will experience when they grow and develop, but on the other hand there are many phenomena that occur, namely blasphemy cases, social, religious and religious complexes that teach intolerance, in West Kalimantan from 1962-1999 there were 12 social, religious and ethnic conflicts. It is an important aspect of multicultural values in early childhood in this study.

<em>Planning and designing Children Care and Education Centre in Surakarta, that running out inclusive education, is motivated by the importance of developing the potential of children at early age. But unfortunately, this is not supported by the availability of educational facilities in the early levels, especially those who are able to serve both children with and without disabilities. Inclusive learning method is chosen as the most suitable learning method for both children with and without disabilities. The main issue of this design is how building’s elements accommodate both children with and without disabilities and support inclusive environment. The implementation of psychology of architecture’s concepts is used to support the growth and development of both children with and without disabilities through internal and external stimulation. Those stimulations are given through activity and architectural element such as room’s layout, room’s interior, building façade and complementary elements like landscape. Those would support the interaction between both children with and without disabilities in creating inclusive environment that support the learning process and development of every child.</em>

This study aims to describe the background and experience of parents, as well as perform a typology on the views of parents in sending their children to school at an early age. Lately, there has been a lot of discussion about the pros and cons of enrolling early childhood children into PAUD (KB) level schools. Pro parents argue that at school, children can socialize with their friends, can learn by playing, can be independent, and much more. This research is a qualitative research with a phenomenological approach. The results of this study indicate that parents who send their children to school at an early age are motivated by the fact that children do not have friends, for the sake of children's independence, lack of educational games at home, children's desires, for children's growth and development, basic Islamic education, and reasons for adequate school facilities. Then, the experience felt by parents in sending their children to school at an early age is the number of positive changes in children. While the view of parents in sending their children to school at an early age is the need for optimizing children's growth and development; school preparation in the next stage; educational playground; and familiarity with the rules.

Abstract The role of parents is very important for the formation of children's character starting at an early age, family communication will be a way to interact more closely between family members. The existence of communication that can be realized through action, and giving positive words to children. The influence of toxic parents can affect children's growth and development and even affect children's character, bad personalities during childhood can cause personality problems, and poor socialization. Therefore, in communicating with children, parents must pay attention to the character of the child in order to communicate effectively. Communication must be built as early as possible, and based on the understanding of parents. Methods of data collection are carried out in various ways, namely through observation, interviews, documentation. The entry of foreign cultures through various things caused the fading of the knowledge of Indonesia’s young generation toward their own culture. The introduction of culture from an early age should be encouraged to overcome these problems. One of them through education, where students are introduced to their culture’s through the learning process. The introduction of the culture through education can be given by science material, where science is subject which is very closely related to the surrounding environment. Science learning is rarely associated with the value of local wisdom, even though science is very closely with environment and culture. The purpose of this study is produce PSLM based on wonosobo local wisdom and examine properness of PSLM based on Wonosobo Local Wisdom material. The research method is R&D, where the product produced is PSLM for early childhood. The result showed that PSLM has been produced that is materially feasible with a very good category based on expert judgment.
