Surabaya is one of the cities in Indonesia that has problems on garbage. In handling the garbage, the city government of Surabaya issued a large enough budget to transport the waste to the landfill (TPA). This can be reduced if the waste from the source can be managed properly. Lack of public awareness in RT. 019, RW. 04 Kelurahan Wonokromo Surabaya City in managing household waste, it can be seen from the community disposing of waste is not sorted and do not know how to recycle the waste. By recycling waste into compost, in addition to helping the government in reducing the waste can also green the environment with the resulting compost fertilizer. Community service is done to members of the PKK in RT. 019, RW. 04, Wonokromo urban village of Surabaya, and implemented on April 1 -November 31, 2015. The method used in community service is counseling and training in managing household waste. The result of community service is that most PKK members can sort waste and manage their household waste into compost, and the community environment becomes green from the resulting compost.

This research is based on the phenomenon that community service activities carried out by Perguruan Tinggi Agama Islam (PTAI) from more or less the same year have not been linked to the results of research in the social religious field. As a result, the relevance, benefits, and contribution of PTAI to the community become less visible. This research is a field work research. Partisipatory Action Reseacrh analysis was used in this study. The results of this study are 1) Strategy to build public awareness about clean living in the environment is done by inviting them to work together to clean the environment starting from cleaning the mosque, TPA, Mushalla, and educational institutions around. 2) Strategies to develop a community mindset can realize the potential of nature and the surrounding human resources to be processed through socialization on the use of the natural environment, including household waste, training in making paving blocks from plastic waste, and processing waste into compost. 3) Strategy to build active communication between citizens and the government with assistance to citizens, and 4) Strategy to build a spirit of diversity in the community.

This research titled is “Empowerment of Rattan Industry Craftsmen After Disasters by Department of Trade and Industry in Palu City Central Sulawesi Province”. The purpose of this research is to find out and analyze the empowerment process, supporting factors and inhibiting factors faced, as well as efforts made by the Department of Trade and Industry to overcome obstacles in the empowerment of rattan industry crafters in the aftermath of a disaster. The research method used by the author in this study is descriptive qualitative.The data collection techniques are interviews, documens and observations. The data analysis techniques in this study are data reduction, data presentation and data verification. The result of this research apprenticeship show that empowerment of crafters in managing the rattan industry after disaster has been carried out. But in the implementation, the empowerment process has not been carried out optimally. Because the mindset of craftsmen who are still using old mindset, the absence of Standard Operating Procedures regarding the rattan industry which results in an ineffective upstream and downstream system, Limited funds owned by the government in providing assistance and the independence of the craftsmen in producing raw materials supporting the rattan industry. After disaster, Department of Trade and Industry has made efforts to overcome obstacles with : make a Standard Operating Procedures dan rebuilding the upstream and downstream systems. In addition, Department of Trade and Industry has also allocated funds in accordance with needs and provides socialization in changing the mindset of rattan industry crafters and training to develop rattan industry businesses. The authors suggests to the city government that in the future in making a development and empowerment planning, the city government must fist make Standard Operating Procedures. The city of Surabaya is an area that has a high risk index for natural and non-natural disasters due to geographic and demographic conditions. The Covid-19 pandemic is a non-natural disaster that has the potential to spread massively in areas with densely populated demographic conditions such as Surabaya. Disaster education needs to be carried out to the community so that it can reduce the spread of Covid-19. This community service activity aims to provide practical knowledge to the community regarding the response to non-natural disasters of the Covid-19 pandemic. This community service activity is carried out by means of socialization and training to the community in Pacarkeling Village, Surabaya City. The results of the pre-test and post-test on people's practical knowledge showed an average increase of 70 percent. With this result, it can increase public awareness, vigilance and preparedness regarding the non-natural disasters of the Covid-19 pandemic.abstrakKota Surabaya menjadi daerah yang memiliki indeks risiko bencana alam dan non alam yang tinggi karena kondisi geografis dan demografis. Pandemi Covid-19 merupakan bencana non alam yang sangat berpotensi menyebar secara masif pada wilayah yang memiliki kondisi demografis padat penduduk seperti Kota Surabaya. Pendidikan kebencanaan perlu untuk dilakukan kepada masyarakat sehingga dapat mengurangi penyebaran Covid-19. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pengetahuan praktis kepada masyarakat mengenai tanggap bencana non alam pandemi Covid-19. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini dilakukan dengan cara sosialisasi dan pelatihan kepada masyarakat di Kelurahan Pacarkeling Kota Surabaya. Kegiatan dilaksanakan dalam beberapa tahap yaitu persiapan, pelaksanaan, dan evalusasi. Hasil pre-test dan post-test terhadap pengetahuan praktis masayarakat menunjukkan peningkatan rata-rata sebesar 70 persen. Dengan hasil ini dapat meningkatkan kesadaran, kewaspadaan, dan kesiapsiagaan masyarakat mengenai bencana non alam pandemi Covid-19.

Furthermore, the goal of Community Service (PKM) is to bring educational institutions closer to the community so that universities may help the government accelerate development activities and train high-quality development actors. Counseling and training are the goals of this Community Service (PKM) project in North Talang Ubi Village, Talang Ubi District, Penukal Abab Lematang Ilir Regency. In terms of the socialization of growing household income, the goal is to raise public awareness about how to increase household income and ensure that the benefits of this service are embraced by the residents of North Talang Ubi Village. With the socialization of increasing household income, the community can find out how to alternatively increase household income with the economic potential in the family. From the activities that have been carried out, several obstacles occur, including the low level of education, which impacts thinking patterns in overcoming problems of family economic constraints, lack of job opportunities/opportunities.

Community service activities are carried out on MSMEs assisted by the Cimahi city government, West Java. This activity is in the form of socializing the role of MSMEs in taxation and incentives for those affected by COVID-19. The goal is for MSMEs to understand their tax obligations, namely calculating, depositing and reporting taxes and taking advantage of tax incentives provided by the government for business actors affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. Incentives given to MSME actors by reducing the PPh rate (Final Income Tax) to 0.5% of total turnover, according to Government Regulation (PP) Number 23 of 2018 concerning Income Tax on income from businesses received or obtained by Taxpayers who have gross income certain. turnover. Then briefing on the extension of incentives due to this pandemic by utilizing the tax payment abolition facility with the DTP PPh Final mechanism as stated in PMK-82/PMK.03/2021. The implementation is carried out using a webinar mechanism in August 2021. The initial agenda for this activity is coordinated by the activity committee through the WhatsApp group by distributing flyers with the intention that the socialization activities carried out can be followed by the fostered MSME business actors. by the City Government of Cimahi. The output of this activity is to make MSME actors aware of their tax obligations for the business they run, understand how to utilize and use DTP Final Income Tax incentives and calculate, deposit and report taxes.

Purpose This paper aims to examine the role of electronic governance (e-governance) in enabling asylum seekers’ access to public services in the city of Durban, South Africa. Because of COVID-19, the government scaled down its operations, limiting access to public services, including among migrants. Design/methodology/approach Because of COVID-19-related restrictions, a systematic review was conducted of the relevant academic literature as well as the information portals of relevant government departments, municipalities and research reports on migration and refugees in South Africa. A total of 320 peer-reviewed research articles were identified. These were filtered and 68 relevant articles were selected. Findings The study found that asylum seekers have limited access to public services via information communication technology-enabled mechanisms. Whilst the city government has embraced e-governance, it is still in its nascent stages. Research limitations/implications This study was limited to a desktop one because of COVID-19 restrictions and it focused exclusively on asylum seekers. Therefore, its findings can only be generalised to this category of people. Practical implications Future studies on this subject should gather data from all categories of migrants to gain in-depth perspectives. Social implications All spheres of governance in South Africa should recognise asylum seekers as a constituency that deserves access to public services. E-governance can facilitate easier access to these services, and policies need to be aligned with this reality. Originality/value This study examined the efficacy of e-governance in enabling access to government services by asylum seekers during COVID-19. To the best of the authors’ knowledge, no other study on this subject was conducted during this period.

Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan koneksi matematika mahasiswa/i melalui pembelajaran metakognitif di Semester IV Jurusan Matematika Tahun Pelajaran 2014/2015. Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Subjek penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa/i semester IV matematika. Objek dalam penelitian ini adalah pembelajaran matematika dalam usaha peningkatan kemampuan koneksi matematika mahasiswa/i melalui pembelajaran metakognitif. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan cara: Observasi, tes, dan dokumen. Instrumen penelitian ini menggunakan: RPS, LKS, Tes dan Lembar Observasi. Penelitian tindakan kelas ini dilaksanakan dalam 2 siklus, yang masing-masing siklus terdiri dari tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan dan refleksi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa untuk untuk siklus I untuk indikator 1, indikator 2, dan indikator 3 berdasarkan kategori Sangat Kurang (SK), Kurang (K), Cukup (C),  Baik (B) dan Sangat Baik (SB) berturut-turut ada sebesar 63,88%, 77,76%, 80,55%, 63,88%, dan 5,54%. Setelah dilakukan pemberian tindakan dengan model pembelajaran Metakognitif, banyak mahasiswa/i yang berhasil meningkatkan kemampuan koneksi matematika pada akhir siklus II, untuk indikator 1, 2 dan 3 kategori Sangat Kurang (SK), Kurang (K), Cukup (C),  Baik (B) dan Sangat Baik (SB) berturut-turut ada sebesar 13,88%, 44.43%, 33,32%, 116,65%, dan 91,65%. Dari penelitian ini dapat diperoleh simpulan bahwa melalui pembelajaran Metakognitif dapat meningkatkan kemampuan koneksi mahasiswa/i semester IV matematika Universitas Labuhanbatu. Kata Kunci: Kemampuan Koneksi Matematika, Pembelajaran Metakognitif. This study was conducted to determine the effect of household waste to the environment in terms of aspects of biology at the housing complex kel housekeeping earth. nevertheless compass excl. southern shoreline. The type of waste that is often seen is composed of organic waste and garbage in the complex non organik.Setiap day Graha Pertiwi inmates on average to dispose of waste ranging from 1 kg / perharinya.Kesadaran high community waste management is big enough where their garbage stacked on the front page house and burned, so that the waste could not accumulate too lama.Kendala faced and penanggulangannyamasih efforts in creating public awareness of cleanliness lingkungan.Hal is seen from a habit of throwing garbage on tempatnya.Persepsi community about waste management is still concentrated in the government, whereas hygiene problem is a shared responsibility between the public and the government, the limited space for the collection and final disposal, as well as limited transportation funds rubbish. Rotinsulu Ekonomi Pembangunan – Fakultas Ekonomi dan BisnisUniversitas Sam ratulangi  ABSTRAKKemiskinan merupakan masalah klasik disetiap negara. Usaha pengentasan kemiskinan telah lama dilakukan oleh pemerintah. Variabel yang mempengaruhi tingkat kemiskinan antara lain adalah pengeluaran pemerintah dan pertumbuhan ekonomi. Pengeluaran pemerintah Kota Manado melalui pos belanja modal, belanja sosial, dan pertumbuhan ekonomi diharapkan juga memberi pengaruh terhadap tingkat kemiskinan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh belanja modal, belanjasosial, dan pertumbuhan ekonomi terhadap tingkat kemiskinan di Kota Manado secara parsial maupun secara bersama-sama. Metodeanalisis yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa belanja modal memiliki pengaruh yang negative dan signifikan secara parsial terhadap tingkat kemiskinan sedangkan belanja social dan pertumbuhan ekonomi tidak memiliki pengaruh secara parsial terhadap tingkat kemiskinan di Kota Manado. Secara bersama-sama belanja modal, belanja sosial, dan pertumbuhan ekonomi  tidak  memiliki  pengaruh  terhadap  tingkat  kemiskinan di Kota Manado. Kata Kunci  :   Belanja Modal,  Belanja  Sosial,  Pertumbuhan  Ekonomi, Tingkat  Kemiskinan.  ABSTRACTPoverty is a classic problem in every country. Poverty eradication efforts have been carried out by the government. Variables that affect the level of poverty among other government are government expenditure and economic growth. Manado City Government expenditure through capital expenditure, social expenditure, and economic growth is expected to also make an impact on poverty levels. This research aimed to determine the effect of capital expenditure, social expenditure, and economic growth on poverty levels in Manado partially or jointly. The analytical method used is multiple regression analysis. The results showed that capital expenditure has a negative and significant effect partially to the poverty level while social spending and economic growth do not have a partial effect on poverty levels in the city of Manado. Taken all research variables found that capital expenditures, social expenditure, and economic growth have no effect on the level of poverty in the city of Manado. Key Words : Regional Expenditure, Social Expenditure, Economic Growth, Poverty Level.

AbstractIn this paper we discuss the SKPD Filing Unit Employee Perception of the Regional Archival Information System Application (SIKEDA) and the Regional Archival Information Network (JIKEDA) in  the City Government of Bukittinggi. The purpose of this study is to determine the competence and optimal shield of SKPD employees in inputting files to the SIKEDA application.This type of research is descriptive research with a qualitative approach. The location of this study was carried out in 5 SKPD Institutions in Bukittinggi, namely: (1) the Library and Archives Office of Bukittinggi City, (2) the Education and Culture Office of the City of Bukittinggi, (3) the Youth and Sports Pariwasata Service of the City of Bukittinggi, (4) the Health Service City of Bukittinggi, (5) Social Service of the city of Bukittinggi. The object of the study was SKPD employees in five government agencies in the city of Bukittinggi. Writing this paper aims to describe (1) To describe the optimization of the use of SIKEDA and JIKEDA applications by Admin node SIKEDA in supporting records management in the city administration of the City of Bukittinggi; (2) To describe the competencies possessed by HR in SKPD in utilizing information technology in the application of SIKEDA and JIKEDA applications in the City Government of Bukittinggi.Data was collected by observation and direct interviews with SKPD employees in the Bukittinggi city government and literature studies in the application of electronic records in the government of the City of Bukittinggi.Based on the discussion, it can be concluded that the First Employee in the SKPD in the City Government of Bukittinggi is still not optimal in inputting the archive to the sikeda Second application.iKeywords: optimization, competence, electronic archives.

Local own-source revenue is one of the sources of revenue for the government of Medan. This revenue is used to accelerate the development of the city of Medan, especially in the infrastructure development section. A better infrastructure will help in the implementation of business operations that support the improvement of community welfare. One source of local revenues is the local tax revenue. The community service was conducted to optimize the revenue of Medan through optimizing the value of taxable object. This community service supported the government of Medan medium term plan program. This service was carried out with briefing methods, workshops, and mentorings. Science and technology given include work ethic, effective communication, and taxable object valuation. The results of this community service were satisfactory. There was a significant change in the attitude of partners while updating the data. As the results, the community as the owner of taxable object becomes more cooperative and the updating data goes better.
