Ketinting boat in operation using propeller with engine located on deck. This position resulted in the propeller dipping by making a certain angle, in addition the depth of the propeller also overlapped the speed of the ship. This phenomenon is something very important to be examined with the aim of obtaining maximum speed in relation to the angle of tilt of the propeller and the amount of maximum thrust required. The method used is an experimental method in which the model of the ship and propeller are made according to the desired scale, and so conduct testing on the towing tank. The test result obtained is a slope that creates the optimal speed of the ketinting boat is at a slope of 18° with a speed of V = 5.05 knots and a maximum thrust of PT = 13.15 kW.

KRI Halasan - 630 is one of the Fast Missile warships with a length of 60 Meters which apart of fast patrol boat class which belongs to TNI-AL. Accordance with the main function not only as a fast missile boat but also as a patrol ship killer, this ship was made to have a high ability in “hit and run”. Since the beginning of the manufacture and after being inaugurated as KRI in 2014 this ship is able to reach speed until 27 knot in full load. As time goes on the same conditions the speed that this ship can achieve is 25 knot at maximum speed. This can be caused by increase in value from the resistance of the ship. One way to reduce the value of the resistance of the ship is to minimize the Wet Surface Area(WSA) from the ship. By adding hydrofoil technology will produce lift force which could lift apart of the hull ship from the water so that Wet Surface Area from the ship will reduce. From the calculation, to lift on the hull of KRI Halasan Class 20 cm in full load condition at 25 knot knows that dimension for fore foil with tapered straight type are wingspan 4,6 m, wingroot 1,33 m, wingtip 0,5 m, and swept angle 11°. And dimension for aft foil with rectangular straight type are wingspan 5,3 m, wingroot and wingtip 1,365 m, and swept angle 0°. The ship resistance with hydrofoil is 265,5 KN, while in the same condition and speed from the ship without hydrofoil the value of ship resistance is 267 KN. By adding hydrofoil technology could reduce the ship resistance 1,5 KN. This values could make 19,29 KW or 25,86 Hp in power saving. Keywords : Hydrofoil technology, Ship Resistance, Halasan Class

The forces of the flat single-sided linear motor with four superconducting coils on the excitation system were presented by experimental method. The influences of the coil height and number of turns on the forces were investigated by the simulation method. Although the maximum thrust increased monotonically with the value of turns, the corresponding increment of the thrust decreased with the value of turns. The thrust reaches a certain saturation value with increasing the height of the superconducting coil. Continuing to increase the height of the coil could lead to an increase of the normal force. The superconducting linear motor is finally designed with the capability to generate thrust of 1 kN/m.

A minimized linear ultrasonic motor was proposed, and two flexural bimorph vibrators were utilized to form its stator. The construction of the linear ultrasonic motor and its operation principle was introduced. Two working modes with the same local deformation distribution were chosen on the basis of Finite Element Analysis (FEA). To obtain its optimized structural parameters, sensitivities on frequency difference were calculated, and a way of decreasing the frequency difference of two working modes was introduced. A prototype of the optimized model was made. The modal testing of the stator and its performance evaluation was conducted. The modal testing results were in good agreement with that of the simulation. The maximum speed of the prototype is 245 mm/s, and its maximum thrust is 1.6 N.

Concrete is one of the construction materials that is widely used. Currently, variations in concrete are being studied. Galvalum waste has high tensile properties but is mild. Its lightweight properties are expected to reduce the weight of the concrete itself. The purpose of this study is to find out the value of strong press, absorption, weight type (E), degree of saturation (Sr), moisture content (Wc), and porosity of the addition of galvalume waste. The method used is a experimental method. Variations in galvalum waste substitution used are 50% and 100% of the aggregate weight is roughT the sample used in the form of a cylinder size of 15cm x 30 cm with the initial quality of fc' 18.67 Mpa. The results of the strong press test showed that the galvalum waste subtitution has not been able to exceed the initial quality of the plan. The highest test result was obtained at a percentage of 50% with a strong press score of FC' 17.94 Mpa. In the percentage, absorption test results are 0.010%, the weight of the type is 2325 kg / m3, the pore number is 0.00232%, the water content is 0.108%, and porosity is 0.00108%.Beton merupakan salah satu bahan konstruksi yang banyak dipergunakan. The use of an inconsistent speed limit determination method can cause low speed limit compliance. Therefore, we developed an objective methodology based on engineering judgment considering the traffic accident rate in road sections, the degree of roadside development, and the geometric characteristics of road sections in urban roads. The scope of this study is one-way roads with two or more lanes in cities, and appropriate sections were selected among all roads in Seoul. These roads have speed limits of the statutory maximum speed of 80 km/h or lower and are characterized by various speeds according to the function of the road, the roadside development, and traffic conditions. The optimal speed limits of urban roads were estimated by applying the characteristics of variables as adjustment factors based on the statutory maximum speed limit. As a result of investigating and testing various influence variables, the function of roads, the existence of median, the level of curbside parking, the number of roadside access points, and the number of traffic breaks were selected as optional variables that influence the operating speed. The speed limit of one-way roads with two or more lanes in Seoul was approximately 10 km/h lower than the current speed limit. The existing speed limits of the roads were applied uniformly considering only the functional road class. However, considering the road environment, the speed limit should be applied differently for each road. In the future, if the collection scope and real-time collection of road environment information can be determined, the GIS visualization of traffic safety information will be possible for all road sections and the safety of road users can be ensured.

A linear ultrasonic motor (LUSM) with two parallel beams and two multilayer piezoelectric actuators (MPAs) has been developed. The MPAs are aligned across the beams, and the force and displacement generated by the MPAs result in the deformation of the beams in the orthogonal direction. The LUSM has two types of operation modes: dynamic and static. In dynamic operation, the MPAs are driven by alternating voltages with a phase difference, and elliptical displacement motions are generated on the surfaces of the beams. Objects touching the surfaces of the beams can be moved in the same direction by friction. In addition, micro positioning is available over a wide range by combining dynamic and static operations. The characteristics of the LUSM include a maximum speed of 41 mm/s and a maximum thrust of 3.4 N at an operating voltage of 20 Vp-p. A movement range of approximately 8 μm has been confirmed during static operation.
