Learning media is a tool to convey messages or information aimed at instructional or contain learning purposes that can be manipulated, seen, heard, and read. Learning achievement is the result achieved after conducting learning activities. Both learning are done formally and non-formally which includes three aspects of student change cognitive, affective and psychomotor. The use of technology contributes greatly to the improvement of student achievement in English subjects, therefore students who use technology-based learning media in the teaching and learning process in the classroom will get good learning achievements. This research was conducted at SMK Nurul Muhtadin Kibin Serang, with a sample size of 32 students, from a population of 160 students, the researcher took 20% of the sample students from the total population of research. The method used in this research is quantitative descriptive method with research instruments: tests, questionnaires and literature studies. The conclusion obtained from this study is the effectiveness of the use of technology-based learning media in Nurul Muhtadin Vocational High School obtained mean value = 54 Median = 53.68 and Mode = 53.04 and SD = 5.16 While English Learning Achievement obtained mean = 79.53 Median = 77.5 Mode = 70 and Sd = 13.01 whereas from the results of the normality test L = 0.886 is thus Lo (0.2047)> of L (0.886). So that the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted, meaning that the sample is normally distributed. While the effect of the effectiveness of the use of technology-based learning media in SMK Nurul Muhtadin Kibin Serang, quantitatively it has a relationship that is sufficient or moderate, this is evidenced by the correlation coefficient ("r") of 0.60, the value is at intertval 0.60-0.80. The contribution of variable X to variable Y by using coefficient of determination (Cd) is = 36% while the remaining 64% is influenced by other factors both internal and external

Background of the Study: In the last decade online teaching and learning have become a major part of formal and informal education. Despite the current expansion of online teaching and learning settings, the most common use of online teaching and learning still appears to be the same: putting a specific content of face-to-face teaching on the web using a learning management system.[4] Compared with traditional class room lectures, faculty has less control over online teaching, and students are more likely to skip the class. Therefore, the progress of online teaching and its learning effectiveness largely depend on students' high level active learning outside of classroom. The students have difficulties due to the lack of a good learning attitude. Students often have problems such as lack of self - discipline, suitable learning materials or good learning environments when they are self-isolated at home. [4] As per the above affirm mentioned reasons, the researchers felt that it is important to analyze the effectiveness of the perception towards conventional class teaching and online class teaching. Aim of this study is to find out comparison between perception of conventional class teaching versus online class teaching. Materials & Methods: A descriptive survey research method was used. 100 students who fulfilled the inclusion criteria like BSc Nursing first year to third year students who attended the online class and class room teaching regularly for a minimum period of 3 months or more were selected by using convenience sampling technique. Semi structured questionnaire was used for the collection of data from the samples through an online survey. Inferential and descriptive statistics were used to analyze the data. Results: The mean value (77.73) and standard deviation (14.26) of online class teaching is higher than mean value (77.13) and standard deviation (13.01) of conventional class teaching. The t- test value is (1.88) shows highly significant at (0.05) level of confidence. So online class teaching is more effective than the conventional class teaching. Conclusion: From the present study it can be concluded that the flexible study hours and the environment as well as the decreased study pressure may be reasons for the online classes to be more effective than conventional class teaching.

This study aims to determine the effect of emotional intelligence on the learning achievement of Pancasila education and citizenship of students at SMA Negeri 5 Yogyakarta in the 2019/2020 academic year. This research is a quantitative descriptive study, the data collected is in the form of quantitative data (PPKn learning achievement or report cards) and data qualitative quantified (emotional intelligence), this research was conducted at SMA Negeri 5 Yogykarta in March 2020. Number of samples in this study were 720 respondents, with details of class X having 8 classes, class XI there are 8 classes and class XII there are 8 classes, so there are a total of 24 classes. Of the 24 classes (from each class) a sample of 30 students was taken using simple random sampling technique. Data obtained from questionnaires are then processed by a simple regression analysis and coefficient of determination (R2). For the data on emotional intelligence (X), the researchers took the data by distributing questionnaires, while the students' learning achievement scores for Pancasila and Citizenship Education (Y) were the final grades (report cards) in the even semester of the 2019/2020 school year. The results showed: statistical analysis. produces a regression equation Y = 74.298 + 0.165 X, meaning that if the value of emotional intelligence (X) increases by 1 unit, the learning achievement value of PPKn (Y) will increase by 0.165 units with a constant value of 74,298. Hypothesis testing shows that the independent variable emotional intelligence is proven to significantly affect the dependent learning achievement of PPKn. The coefficient of determination (R2) obtained was 0.59 (5.9%), meaning that the variable has an influence emotional intelligence contributes 5.9% to the achievement variable learn PPKn and 94.1% are influenced by other factors outside emotional intelligence variable.
